Maurer, Robert R.

Maurer, on April 16, 2003, Robert R. of Southampton (Leisuretowne), formerly of Berlin Twp. AGe 75. Beloved husband of Lillian C. Maurer (nee Edinger). Loving father of John R. and his wife, Diane Maurer of Shamong and Donna M. and her husband, Ralph Schwab of Atco. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, JOhn & Clare Maurer and Rachel & Amy Schwab, 2 sisiters Helyn Utley and Janet and her husband, George Raynor and a sister in law, Catherine Maurer. A veteran of the US ARMY and National Guard, Mr. Maurer was employed with Curtis Publishing for 21 years and from 1965-1990 was owner and operator of Edgewood Motors, Berlin Twp. He was past treasurer and board member of Telco Sportsmen Club, Atco NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Monday from 7-9pm at the Bradley FUneral Home Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd. Mauro, Vera Elvira

On December 22, 2003 of Cherry Hill, formerly of SW Phila. Age 79. Beloved wife of Alfonso Mauro. Loving mother of Joseph Mauro, SR and his wife Carol of Marlton, Lisette Morgan and her husband William of Marlton, Rick Mauro and his wife Kathy of Mt Laurel, and the late Robert Mauro and his wife, Kathy. Devoted grandmother of Nina, Joseph, David, Lindsay, Dana, Stephan, Chris, Zach, Alexa, Michael, Kelsey, and the late Antoinette; and great grandmother of Alaina and Matthew. Dear sister of Juan Antonio Valdespi and the late Nina Sandkamp. Mrs. Mauro owned and operated Vera's Delicatessen in Southwest Phila. Relatives and friends are invited to the Mass of Christian Burial 10am Friday at St Mary's Church, 2001 Springdale Rd., Cherry Hill.

Massey, Betty S.

Betty S. Massey, 80, of Goshen, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2003 at home. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Oscar and Agnes (Tease) Spring, she moved from Collingswood to Stone Harbor Manor in 1970, then to Goshen in 1994. She was an Army WACS Veteran of World War II. She was a member of Shore Point Presbyterian Church in Marmora. She was a member of the Stone Harbor Seniors Club and the Garden Club of Stone Harbor. She was an avid gardener, enjoying her flowers and plants.

Mrs. Massey is survived by her husband, Frank N. Massey; her children, Mark Massey of Goshen, Neal Massey of Haymarket, VA, and Marsha Bieler of Quakertown, PA; and her five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery.

Mathis, Stanley S.

Stanley S. Mathis, 88, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Tuesday, April 6, 2004, at the City Division of the Atlantic City Medical Center. He was born in Stone Harbor, NJ, and was a lifetime county resident. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Thurston Elmer Wood Post 198 of the American Legion and an exempt member of the Middle Township Fire Department. He was formerly employed by the Cape May County Road Department and John Gandy Contractor and retired from the Cape May County Mosquito Commission as an inspector.

He is survived by his wife of sixty one years, Doris M. MacMullan Mathis, and a nephew, Kirk, of Cape May Court House. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Cora Mathis, a brother, Kirk, and two sisters, Ella Stenecker and Alicia Sherwood.

Funeral Services and interment in Fairview cemetery are private at the convenience of his family. Memorials may be made to the Dialysis Unit of Shore Memorial Hospital, 1 East New York Av., Somers Point, NJ 08244.

Mellaci, Maria Perri

Maria Perri Mellaci age 85 of Unionville, Virginia formerly of Long Branch died Monday March 8, at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center, Culpeper, VA. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch where she was past president of the Rosary Altar Society. She was also a communicant of St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, VA. She was member and past president of Ladies Auxiliary of the Amerigo Vespucci Society, Long Branch. Born in Long Branch, she had lived in Coco, Florida before moving to Virginia in 2001. She was predeceased by her husband, Luigi Mellaci in 2000, her son, Anthony Mellaci in 2001, her brother, Sam Perri, and 2 sisters, Lucy Seals and Jean Hill.

Surviving are 2 sons, Louis Mellaci, Scottsdale, AZ and Joseph Mellaci, Long Branch; a daughter, Marianne Hurd, Unionville, VA; 2 sisters, Angie Calabrese, Tucson AZ and Mildred Colmorgen, Newark, DE; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., corner of Third, Long Branch on Friday, March 12 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral, Saturday, 8:30 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial offered at 9:30 am at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Long Branch. Interment will follow at Mt Carmel cemetery, West Long Branch. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Piedmont Dialysis Patient Assistant Fund, 430 South Ridge Parkway, Culpeper, VA 22701 or Culpeper Hospital, 219 East Davis St., Suite 330 Culpeper, VA 22701.

Mercuro, Robert A.

Robert A. Mercuro, age 72 of Brick died Thursday, February 6 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch.

Bron in Newark, he lived in Monmouth Beach for 24 years before moving to Brick.

He was a salesman for 20 years at King Ladder Co., Hackensack, before retiring 15 years ago.

He was a parishioner of The Roman Catholic Church of the Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach.

Surviving are his wife, Marie Tanelli Mercuro ; two brother and sisters in law, Peter and Pat Mercuro of Fl and Richard and Sheila Mercuro of Florham Park; one sister and brother in law, Carol and Ben Commins also of Florham Park and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, Third and Franklin Aves, Long Branch on Monday February 10, 2-4, 7-9 pm. Funeral Tuesday, 10:00 am from the funeral home with a 11:00 am Mass at The R.C. Church of the Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach. Entombment will be in Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. Michaud, John B.

MICHAUD, on August 31, 2001, Col. John B., USMC, Retired, age 78 yrs. Beloved husband of Anne K. (Nee Knickerbocker) Michaud of Cherry Hill, NJ and loving father of Susan Schuyler Michaud of Malibu, CA. MELAND, BARBARA CLAIRE (nee Hoelzer), on April 25, 2004, of Marlton, NJ. Age 68. Beloved wife of Dr. Leroy Meland. Devoted mother of Dr. Roy Meland and his wife Christine of Lansing, MI, Andrea Cunningham and her husband Darren of Barboursville, W.V. , and Renee Christine Meland of Marlton. Loving grandmother of Alexis, Christopher and Nicholas Cunningham; Jacob and Olivia Meland. Barbara was a teacher in the Medford Twp. School District for 20 yrs. Devoted to her family, her students and to works in the Protestant Community. She brought her extraordinary talents to bear in everything she did. Barbara was a member of the German-American Society, Phi Beta Kappa and the Eastern Star. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Wednesday from 6:00-9:00 PM and Thursday from 9:00-10:00 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. McGill, Kevin

KEVIN C. McGILL, died Suddenly on Dec. 24, 2003 in Tabernacle, NJ. He was 23 yrs. of age. Born in Haverhill, MA, he resided in Tabernacle for the past 6 years moving here from Crawfordsville, IN. A graduate of S. Montgomery H.S. in 1998, he was currently a Chef for the Shooting Stars Catering in Tabernacle, NJ. He is survived by his mother and step-father Joanne L. & Jim Scheidler of Indianapolis, IN, his father Kevin J. Sweeney of Haverhill, MA, his Maternal Grandmother Judy Barker of Port Orchard, WA, his Paternal Grandmother Shirley Sweeney of Haverhill, MA, his Maternal Grandfather Terry Holt of Darlington, IN and his Aunt & Uncle Lisa & Brian Brown of Tabernacle, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd. McGovern, Linda Marie

Linda Marie McGovern, 45, of Woodbine, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2004. Born in Cape May Court House to the late Jacob and Annie A. (Boyd) Moore, Sr., she was a lifetime resident of this area. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodbine. She enjoyed fishing and gardening.

She is survived by her sons, Segmon M. Price, Sr. and his wife, Amber, and Sterling Price and his wife, Rose; her grandchildren, Vachon A. Price, Destiny J. Price, Trinity M. Price, and Segmon M. Price, Jr.; her brothers, Jacob Moore, Jr. and his wife, Wyetta, Mark Moore, and Carl Moore and his wife, Javetta; and her sisters, Caroline Roxborough and her husband, Aaron, Blanche Gordon, Theresa Moore, Sandra Crawley and her husband, Calvin, Jacqueline Moore, and Judy Moore.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Longfellow Street and Adams Avenue, Woodbine, where relatives and friends may call after 10:00. Interment will be in Mt. Olive cemetery, Swainton.

McLarnon, Brian F.

Brian F. McLarnon, 43 of South Seaville, NJ, died on Friday at his home. Born in Ridley Park, PA, he has lived here since 1989 coming from Stone Harbor, NJ. He was a self employed carpenter with his business Brian McLarnon Carpentry. He was an avid bowler at the Mouse Trap and was a member of the American Bowling Congress. He was an avid Flyers Hockey Fan and played hockey at Great Valley High School in Malvern, PA. He was a volunteer with the Dennis Township Boy Scout Troop, and he also did Lawn Care locally at many area homes. He attended First United Methodist Church of Sea Isle and accepted Christ as his Saviour in 1976 at a Word of Life Camp at Schroon Lake, NY.

He is survived by his wife: Ingrid of Leesburg; son: Brian M. of South Seaville; parents: Thomas H. of Colwyn, PA and Elizabeth M. of Stone Harbor, NJ; sister: Christine McLarnon of Stone Harbor; brother: Tommy Mack of Chicopee, MA; half brother: Kenny McLarnon of Pennsylvania; and niece: Marla Mack of Enfield, CT.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 23, 2004, at the Seaville Methodist Church, Rte. 9, Seaville, NJ, where relatives and friends may call after 9:00 AM. Interment in the Seaville Methodist cemetery.

McLAUGHLIN, Jeffrey H.

Suddenly, on May 29, 2004 of Medford. Age 58. Beloved husband of Chris (nee Wenger) Loving father of Belynda Reardon of Louisville, KY, and step-father of Jennylin Schott of Marlton, Wendy Bamford of Sarasota, FL and Kristie Schwartz of Medford. Devoted grandfather of Amanda, Stephanie, Rachel, Brandon and Brooke. Jeff was a Veteran of the Army during Vietnam, and was a member of the VFW in Medford. He also had been a member of the Lion's Club in Medford Lakes and was an Assistant Softball Coach for Marlton Rec. Council. Friends are invited to greet the family on Wednesday from 3-4pm at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, Rt 73 & Evesham Rd, Marlton. Memorial Service 4pm Wed. at the Funeral Home.

Helen was a life member of the First Presbyterian Church of Barrington, a member of the Barrington Historical Society as well as the Lake Garrison Sailing Club.
