Noreen A. Pejsa, age 63, of Ocala, Florida, died suddenly on April 21, 2004 in Voorhees, NJ. A native of Ohio, Mrs. Pejsa formerly lived in Mooresville, NC. Beloved wife of Raymond Pejsa. Loving mother of Geof Pejsa of La Plata, MD, Tracy Moran of Stafford, VA, Mark Pejsa of Mooresville, NC and Brad Pejsa of Mooresville, NC. Devoted grandmother of Megan and Amy Pejsa, Adam, Justin, and Kendra Moran, Lauren Joy Pejsa and Korky Pejsa. Dear sister of Kathleen Baker of Ocala, FL, Michael Nelis of Charlotte, NC, Margaret Long of Ravenna, OH and Jack Nelis of Phoenix, AZ. Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Diabetes Assoc.

Pedrazzo, Alma Mary Herring

Alma Mary Herring Pedrazzo, of Oakhurst died on Friday, July 2, 2004 at home. Mrs. Pedrazzo was a clinic assistant for the Long Branch Public Health Nursing Association, retiring in 1984. Born in North Bergen, she had lived in Oakhurst since 1989. She was a graduate of St Joseph High School, West New York, New Jersey, a member of the Poplar Village Senior Club, and a communicant of St Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Deal. She was predeceased by her husband John F. Pedrazzo, who died in 1969. Surviving are a son, Thomas Pedrazzo, Elberon Park Oakhurst; a daughter Ellen Elbaor, Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren, Thomas Pedrazzo, Ridgewood; Joy Pedrazzo, Deal; Chris Elbaor, Allison Elbaor and Caroline Elbaor, all Dallas, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend an 11:00 am Mass at St. Michael’s R.C. Church, West End, Long Branch, on Friday, July 9. Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch is in charge of the arrangements.

Payne, Lieutenant Colonel Irving P.

Lieutenant Colonel Irving P. Payne, age 86 of West Long Branch died Thursday, February 26 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Achieving rank of Lieutenant Colonel in May of 1963 in the US Army, he retired in 1966 after 30 years of dedicated service. He was a member of Old First United Methodist Church, West Long Branch; a charter member of the West Long Branch Lions Club and a member of Airstream International Wally Byram Caravan Club. He was predeceased by his wife, Virginia Clerk Payne in 1996. Surviving are a son and daughter in law, Philip C. and Louise Payne of West Long Branch and a granddaughter, Heather.

A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Saturday, February 28 at 12:00 pm at Glenwood cemetery, West Long Branch. Donations are requested to the Oceanport First Aid Squad, 2 Pemberton Avenue, Oceanport, NJ 07757. Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., Long Branch is in charge of arrangements.

PAUCIELLO, Albert J.

On May 26, 2004 of Cherry Hill, NJ, formerly of Marlton, NJ. Age 87. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Hunter Lundell Pauciello. Loving father of Lisa Rowe of Gladwyne, PA. Devoted grandfather of Lily and Christopher Rowe. Dear brother of Carmella Foreman and Ida Carozza of Cherry Hill, and Anna Pauciello of Phila. Mr. Pauciello was served in the Army Rangers and in the US Coast Guard-Merchant Marines. He also entertained with the USO during World War II. He was a member of Marlton VFW Post and was an amateur boxer. He worked as a masseur at the Philadelphia Athletic Club and a stevedore for Penn Fruit. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing 7-9pm Tuesday and 10-11am Wednesday at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, Rt 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton. Funeral Service 11am Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Interment Brigadier General Doyle Veterans Cem, Arneytown, NJ. Partlow, Janice M.

PARTLOW, JANICE M. (nee Maag) on July 4, 2004 of Franklinville formerly of Maple Shade. Age 81. Beloved wife of the late George. Devoted mother of Lisa and her husband William McManus. Loving grandmother of Stacy and Shaina. Also survived by brother in law Robert J. Partlow. Mrs. Partlow was self employed at Partlow and Hallen Dry Cleaners in Medford Lakes for over 50 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star for 50 years. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ.

There will be a Funeral Service at 12:30 PM at the funeral home.

Interment will take place at Mt. Laurel cemetery in Mt. Laurel.

Papciak, John

PAPCIAK, JOHN "JACK" 69, of Cape May Court House, died on Wednesday in the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, CMCH. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA he has lived here since 1988 coming from Roselle Park. He was a Milkman for Ideal Dairies, Union. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He retired from the Woodbine Board of Ed after 10 yrs of service as Head Custodian. He was a member of the American Legion Post #60 of Roselle Park and former Roselle Park Pop Warner football coach. He was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife Judith, his sons John W. of Massapequa Pk, NY & Robert of CMCH. His daughters Susan Schirmer of Milford & Janet Papciak of Roselle Park. His seven grandchildren; Amrit, Shabdueat, Guru Simran, Daniel, Robbie, Katie & Jack. A gathering of family & friends 1-4PM Saturday at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Ave., Cape May Court House. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations to your local food bank are appreciated.

Panaccoine, Jr., Pasquale "Sonny"

Pasquale "Sonny" Panaccione, Jr. age 76 of West Long Branch died Thursday, May 20, 2004 in Neptune. He was a self employed mason. He served his country honorably in the US Army during the World War II. He was charter member of Monmouth Park Race Track, Oceanport. Born in Newark, he had lived in the shore area since 1948. Surviving is daughter and son in law, Mary and John Marrone, Livingston; a brother, Nick, Long Branch; 4 sisters, Jean Vitale, Ocean; Genevieve Willock, West Long Branch; Madeline Juliano, Juno Beach, Fla; Geraldine Bodnarchuk, Long Branch; 2 grandchildren, Stephanie and Jessica; 2 great grandchildren; and his dear friend and companion, Mary Conti, Ocean.

Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, Corner of Third Ave, Long Branch on Monday from 6-9 pm. Funeral Tuesday at 9:30 am from the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am Mass at St Michael's R.C. Church, West End. Interment Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport. PALMER, Kearnan P.

Suddenly, on April 30, 2004 of Marlton. Age 31. Devoted fiancée of Bobbi Porter. Loving father of McKenna Reilly. Dear son of Kathleen Reilly-Santomero and Charles Santomero of Marlton. Beloved grandson of Patricia and Joseph Reilly of Mt Laurel and brother of Charles Santomero of Mt Laurel, John Santomero of Somerdale and Lisa Iuliucci of Waterford. Kearnan was a 1990 graduate of Eastern High School and worked in the Corporate Finance Department of Virtua Health in Marlton. Paduano, Lucille Linda Marrotta

LUCILLE LINDA MARROTTA PADUANO, 54, of OCEAN TOWNSHIP, died Wednesday, June 23, at the Hospice Center in Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Linda was a communicant of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Born in Long Branch, she was a lifelong resident before moving to Ocean Township five years ago.

She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Damiano Marrotta, in 1999. Surviving are her father, James Marrotta of Ocean Township; two brothers, James P. and Patrick, both of West Long Branch; four sisters, Barbara Pugel of Ohio, Mary Marrotta of Long Branch, Janet Miller of Ocean Township, and Rachael Marrotta of West Long Branch; and several aunts and uncles.

At the family's request, all visitation will be private. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Church. Interment will follow in Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport.

Quinn, James M.

James M. Quinn, 60, of Swainton, died on Saturday, November 23, 2002 in the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House. He was a painter having been employed by Cape May County for 25 years. He was in the Army during peacetime. Born in Philadelphia, he has lived here for 12 years coming from Avalon. He was a member of Maris Stella Church, Avalon, NJ, where he was a Cantor for the Mass.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen; his son, Michael of Avalon; his four daughters, Shannon Quinn of Swainton, Kristy Quinn of San Diego, CA; Jennie Quinn of Philadelphia; and Kerri Taylor of Bradley Beach, NJ; and his two sisters, Eileen Horan of Franklinville, NJ and Barbara O'Malley of Winchester, TN.

Funeral Liturgy will be said on Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at Maris Stella Church, 50th Street and Dune Drive, Avalon, where relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment is private. Memorial donations may be made to Wildwood Catholic High School Building Fund, 1500 Central Avenue, North Wildwood, NJ 08260 or the American Cancer Society, 428 Exton Commons, Exton, PA 19341.

Quintana Rodriguez, Jeannette

Jeannette Quintana Rodriguez, 47, of Mays Landing, formerly of Woodbine, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2003. She was born in Sea Isle City to the late Genaroso and Milagros (Pratts) Quintana and was a lifetime resident of this area. She was a member of St. Casimir's Church in Woodbine. She was involved with the Woodbine Rescue Squad, the Woodbine Elementary Board of Education, the American Red Cross, an active member of the Republican Club, and De Colorses. She was an interpreter and stenographer for the Woodbine Court System and was a social worker for the Cape May County Welfare Board. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Carmen Irizarry of Mays Landing; her son, Jimmy Quintana of Woodbine; her grandmother, Antonia Custodia De Pratts of Puerto Rico; her brother, Louis A. Quintana of Vineland; her sister, Delores Rodriguez of Woodbine; her grandchildren, Anthony and Matthew Jones; and her husband, Angel Rodriguez of Woodbine.

Funeral Liturgy will be said on Friday, April 25, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Casimir's Church, 304 Clay Street, Woodbine. A viewing will be held on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House. Interment will be in Head of the River cemetery, Estell Manor. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 626 North Shore Road, Absecon, NJ 08201 or the American Red Cross, 34 East Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

Russell, William J.

RUSSELL, WILLIAM J. on April 13, 2004 of Marlton, NJ age 72 years. Devoted husband of Roberta (nee Sonni). Loving father of Stephen, John and Patrick Russell and Sharon Thibodeau. Also survived by 9 grandchildren. Mr. Russell was employed by General Electric Financial Services, prior to retirement in 1992. He was a sales representative in the manufacturing and financial service industries for over 40 years. He was formerly active in the Navy Reserves and a member of the Ramblewood Country Club. There will be a viewing Friday eve 7-9 PM and Satruday 9:30-10:30 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt.73 and Evesham Rd, Marlton. Where there will be a Funeral Service at 10:30 AM. Interment Locustwood Memorial Park.

Roper, Jr., Willie "Rope"

Willie "Rope" Roper, Jr., 65, of Whitesboro, NJ, died on Saturday, May 15, 2004. He was born in Savannah, GA, the son of the late Willie and Harriet Owens Roper, Sr. He served in the US Army. He was a self employed mason; was on the Wildwood and Woodbine Police Force; was an examiner for the NJ Motor Vehicle Services and was a driver for the Cape Counseling. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitesboro; the Elks Lodge of Wildwood; and enjoyed motorcycling and belonged to the "Spokes Unlimited".

He is survived by his children: Willie, III and Warren of Wildwood, NJ, Wayne of Philadelphia, PA, Deborah A. of North Cape May, NJ, and Winston of Woodbine, NJ; sister: Lydia Joyce of GA; lifelong friend: Curnice L. Boyd; eight grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and wife: Patricia W.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2004 at 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Whitesboro, West Main St., Whitesboro, NJ, where friends may call at 11:00 AM. There is no final viewing after the services. Interment in Seaside cemetery, Palermo, NJ.

Rose, Matthew

Matthew Rose, age 65 of Red Bank died Wednesday, July 7 at home. He was a retired Cook for Basil T Leaf in Red Bank. Born in Jamaica, Queens, he lived in Monmouth Beach before moving to Red Bank 31 years ago. He was predeceased by his father Benjamin H. Rose. Surviving is his wife of 38 years Dawn Earley Rose; two sons, Timothy Rose of Beaufort, South Carolina and Michael Rose of Red Bank; a daughter, Ginger Intelli of Red Bank; his mother, Adeline Greene Rose of Shrewsbury Township; two brothers, Benjamin K. Rose of Eatontown and Robert Rose of Lakewood; and ten grandchildren.

A grave side service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rose family and will be received by Damiano Funeral Home, P.O. Box 567, Long Branch, New Jersey 07740.

Ross, Pearl Mae

Pearl Mae Ross, 68, of Wildwood, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at Court House Convalescent Center. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved here 40 years ago. She is survived by her daughter, Denise Ross; five brothers; four sisters; and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be private under the direction of the Radzieta Funeral Home.

Rosser, Philip C.

PHILIP C. ROSSER, passed away on Sunday, January 4th, 2004 at the Compassionate Care Hospice in Cherry Hill, NJ. He was 83 years of age. Born in Wales, he resided in Medford for the past 53 yrs. A retired Chicken Farmer he owned and operated Rosser's Poultry Farm in Medford from 1951 to 1965. From 1965 to 1972 he was a night Foreman for Sears & Roebuck in Pennsauken, NJ. He was also a member of the NJ Farm Bureau. He is the beloved husband of Millicent T. (Nee Fenk) Rosser of Medford, NJ and the loving father of Susan D. Caton of N.C., Philip D. Rosser of Swedesboro, NJ, Debra L. Lacey of N.C., Phyllis E. Fenimore of Lumberton, NJ, Brian S. Rosser of FL, James A. Rosser of Glassboro, NJ and Elizabeth M. Rosser of Medford, NJ. He is also survived by his 6 Grandchildren Justin Caton, Philip Rosser, James & Samuel Lacey, and Donald & Amanda Fenimore. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday from 7:00 - 8:00 PM at BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd. Rothermel, Helen J.

HELEN J. ROTHERMEL, passed away on Thursday, June 24nd, 2004 at the Virtua Rehab & Nursing Center in Berlin, NJ. She was 84 yrs. of age. Born in Reading, PA, she is the daughter of the late Joseph & Sara Rothermel. She resided in Voorhees, NJ for the past 3 yrs., moving there from Laurel Springs, NJ. A retired Home Economics Teacher at the Overbrook Jr. High School in Lindenwold, NJ, she taught there for 35 years until her retirement in 1980. She is a graduate of Muhlenburg Twp. H.S. and of Albright College in Reading, PA. During her tenure at Overbrook she was very involved in the Future Homemakers of America was a member of the A.H.E. Assoc., the N.E.A., the N.J.E.A., the Camden Co. E.A. and was a long time member of the Woman’s Club of Laurel Springs where she was a Past President and Past Treasurer. She also enjoyed volunteering for the American Red Cross. She is survived by her sister Eleanor Louise McGuinness of Zellwood, FL her brother Joseph Rothermel of Corning, NY, and her 6 nieces Deborah McGuinness of Stanford, CA, Pamela Cowan of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, Carol Mann of Stonington, CT, Diana Kemp of Virginia Beach, VA, Beverly Rothermel of Bedford, TX and Faith Rothermel of Corning, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Sunday, July 11th from 2:00 – 3:00 PM at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 433 Park Ave., Laurel Springs, NJ, where a Celebration of her life will be held on Sunday at 3:00 PM. Interment services will be held on Monday, July 12th at 1:00 PM at the Zion United Church of Christ in Hamburg, PA followed by interment in the Zion Cemtery.
