Devoted grandmother of Lisa Finnegan, Susan Hunt, and Patricia Hunt and great grandmother of Daniel and Matthew Finnegan. Dear sister of Barbara Swearingen of Dover, OH. Mrs. Bair was a member of Moorestown United Presbyterian Church and the Moorestown Women's Club. She taught piano and organ in Mt Laurel, Moorestown and Mt Holly. BAIR, Michael E. suddenly on May 11, 2003 of Marlton & Oak Ridge, NJ age 19 survived by his mother Susan (Charles) Grigg & his father Edward (Jana-Lee) Bair and his maternal great grandmother Elizabeth R. Raffa, his maternal grandparents Stephan & Jane Downer and his paternal grandparents Dale & Naomi Bair & 3 sisters Melissa, Stephanie & Erin Bair & 2 brothers Jarad & Jordan Grigg. Michael was a graduate of Cherokee High School Class of 2002, a member of the German Club, The National Honor Society and the former treasurer of the Cherokee Hot Rod Assoc. Baird, John C.

BAIRD, JOHN C., passed away on May 15, 2009, due to complications from a car accident on January 14. Age 77. Beloved husband of MaryLou. Loving father of Luanne Masson, Jennifer Alessi, Glenn Baird and John Randy Baird. Also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was raised and graduated from Girard College in 1950. John will be missed very much. Funeral Service will be private.

Baird, Marian J.

Marian J. Baird, 71, of Goshen, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2008 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia to George and Mabel (White) Ingram, she moved to the area in 1972 from Upper Darby, PA.

Mrs. Baird is survived by her daughter, Deborah Shaw of Goshen; her son, J. Scott Baird of Egg Harbor Township; her grandchildren, Christopher and Jonathan; her sisters, Marge Clements, Helen Rotondo, and Theresa Heller; her brothers, George, Dennis, Daniel, Joseph, and Francis Ingram; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Baird, her sister Loretta, and brother, Michael.

Memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cape May Bird Observatory, 600 Route 47 North, Goshen. Interment will be private. Baird IV, David

BAIRD, DAVID IV, peacefully on June 23, 2005 at home with his family by his side. Age 68. Beloved husband of Patsy (nee Wright). Devoted father of Cindy Baird of Moorestown, Douglas Brown of Cherry Hill, and the late David Stephen Baird. Loving grandfather of Christine Baird Hill. Dear brother of Genevieve Paxson of Lafayette Hill, PA and Thomas H. Baird and his wife Judie of Haddonfield. Also survived by several loving nieces & nephews & great nieces & nephews. Born and raised in Haddonfield David has been a resident of Moorestown for the past 18 years, he also enjoyed his homes in Ocean City, NJ and Florida. He was a graduate of Haddonfield High, class of 1955 and Rutgers Univ., class of 1961 with a Bachelors degree in geology. David joined the Air National Guard in 1961 and was activated during the Berlin Wall Crisis and was discharged in 1962 to take over the family business. He was an entrepreneur and former owner of Haddonfield Lumber Company from 1962-1998. While he was owner Haddonfield Lumber Company's sales ranking rose to #1 in South Jersey, #2 in the sates & #63 in the country. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing 3-7 PM on Sunday at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 South & Evesham Rd in Marlton. Funeral Service will be held at 7 PM on Sunday at the Funeral Home. Interment will be Private. Bakanowsky, Joan A.

Joan A. Bakanowsky, 72, of North Wildwood, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia to the late Frank and Anna Marie (McCullough) Passehl, she had lived here for 6 years after living in Wildwood for over 30 years. She previously worked at James Salt Water Taffy on the Wildwood Boardwalk. She was a member of the Marina Bay Towers Community and enjoyed reading, flowers, and gardening. She was the oldest child and raised her siblings, which included three sets of twins.

Mrs. Bakanowsky is survived by her husband, Joseph; her children, Mark Bakanowsky and Karen Buckingham; her brothers and sisters, Frank Passehl, Robert Passehl, Richard Passehl, Anna Marie Hanlon, and Eva Emmertz; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Bakanowsky.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private. BAKER, W. Wallace

W. Wallace Baker, 84, passed away peacefully at home in Pennsauken on June 1, 2002.

Beloved husband of the late, Thelma M. (nee Holland). He is survived by his two loving daughters, Elaine Teuber of Pennsauken and Jean Repetto of Havertown, PA; a dear brother, Francis Baker; Loving grandchildren, Shannon Teuber, Michelle Walsh, Karen, Robbie and Ronnie Repetto and great granddaughter, Morrissey Walsh.

Born in Camden, NJ, Mr. Baker was a resident of Pennsauken for 40 years. He was a very active parishioner of St. Stephen's Church, he participated in activities such as the casserole program, delivering food to the needy, working at the school, painting, the poor box and an usher. Mr. Baker was known by all as a true gentleman.

Prior to retiring in 1982, Mr. Baker was a contract representative for RCA in Camden and Moorestown, NJ. He started at the age of twelve and worked there for forty years.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation & Funeral on Wednesday, 8:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Stephen, 6300 Browning Road. Interment will follow at Calvary cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.

Baker, Andrew E.

Andrew E. Baker, 69, of Avalon, NJ, died on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at home. Born in Warren, OH to the late Donald A. and Elizabeth (Reider) Baker, he moved to Avalon in 1988 from Pittsburgh, PA. He enjoyed politics, craps, and sports, especially golf. He received the most enjoyment from his family.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy (nee Heron); his children, Bonny Eppelheimer, Barbara Fowls, Donald William "Dutch" Baker, Kelly Galligan, and Bryan Baker; his sister, Dale Ray; his 13 grandchildren, Adam Fowls, Jamey Codding, Caitlyn Eppelheimer, Brad Eppelheimer, Travis Baker, Kim Baker, Michael Baker, BJ Baker, Bethany Baker, Audrey Galligan, Morgan Galligan, Samuel Baker, and Nicholas Baker; and his great granddaughter, Emma Codding. He was preceded in death by his son, Jon Baker on October 7, 2004.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 6, 2005 at 3:30 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Baker, Sterling E.

STERLING E. BAKER, P.E., of Medford, NJ went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 4th, 2006. He was 64 yrs. of age. Born in York, PA he resided in Medford for the past 24 yrs. moving there from Mifflintown, PA. Sterling, "Seb" is the owner of SEB Builder's in Medford, NJ which he has operated for the past 7 yrs. A Graduate of Penn State College in 1964, he received his degree in Civil Engineering and worked for a number of years building bridges and dams for the Dept. of Forrest & Waters in the Commonwealth of PA. He was also the chief engineer for a number of commercial construction projects throughout the eastern coast from Tenney Mountain, NH to Hollywood, FL. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Planetary Society and the Fellowship Alliance Chapel. He is the Beloved Husband of Jody W. (Nee Williams) Baker of Medford, NJ and the Loving Father of Michael F. Baker of Barrington, NJ and Suzanne K. Dehmel of Los Angeles, CA, and the Step-Father of Amie and David Simpson both of Medford. He is also survived by his Father Edward W. Baker of York, PA, his brother Timothy Baker and sister Suzanne Smith both of York, PA and his Grandchildren Samantha Rose Hicks, Marc Brodzick Baker and Chole Lind Dehmel. BAKER, Bill

Suddenly on August 5, 2002 of Marlton. Beloved husband and best friend of Pat. Dear son of Frances and the late William Baker of Newtown Square, PA. Brother of Brian Baker (and his wife Debbie) of Centerville, VA and Bernice Davie (and her husband John) of Vail, CO. Also survived by his niece and nephews Jacquelyn, Brandon and Brian. Bill was a graduate of Holy Ghost Prep in Bensalem, PA and of Drexel University. After graduating with multiple degrees, Bill spent several years on the Harness Track Circuit before devoting himself to becoming one of South Jersey's leading CPA's. He often shared his vast accounting knowledge by speaking at seminars. Inf 1991, he started his own accounting firm, William A. Baker, CPA in Medford. Neighbors remember Bill as someone who would always lend a hand, no matter what the problem. Friends will miss his joy and zest for life. Bill always made time-whether it was to rescue a kitten and give it a home, or to drive through a snowstorm to pick up a friend from work. All who knew him will miss his kind and compassionate personality. Baker, Laura "Lolly" May

Laura "Lolly" May Baker, 74, of Rio Grande, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at North Cape Center. She was born in Rio Grande to the late Andrew and Beatrice (McCarty) Tomlin and was a lifetime resident here. She was a 1948 graduate of Middle Township High School. She was a member of the Seashore Community Church of the Nazarene. She was a foreman for Wheaton Industries in Millville.

Lolly is survived by her sons, Harry Spangle of Millville, and Paul H. Baker, III and his wife, Elizabeth of Rio Grande; her grandchildren, Paul H. Baker, IV and Lisa M. Baker; her great grandsons, Mark and Louis; her brother, Andrew "Sam" Carl Tomlin of Seguin, TX; and her sisters, Elsie "Pit" V. Poe and her husband, Jack of Kissimmee, FL, and Ethel "Bea" B. Welch and her husband, George of Millville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Baker, Jr.

BAKER, on November 1, 2001, Vivian N. (nee Nigriny) of Voorhees NJ. Age 77. Beloved wife of 53 years of Dr. Raymond A. Baker. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia and her husband, Andrew Massell and a granddaughter, Rachael Massell. Born in Schenectady NY, Mrs. Baker moved to Audubon in 1935 and graduated Audubon High School in 1942. From 1942-1956, she was an Administrative Assistant for Bell Telephone, Pennsauken. . Prior to moving to Voorhees 18 years ago, Mrs. Baker resided in Cherry Hill for 25 years. She was a member of Tavistock Country Club, Haddonfield and of St. Pius X Church, Cherry Hill. Baker, Leonard A. Jr., on March 19, 2004 of Marlton, NJ for over 40 years. Age 78. Beloved husband of Maryann (nee Doran) for 28 years. Devoted father of Bonnie and her husband Robert Nyholm and step-father of Michael McManis and Kathy and her husbnd Ed Myers. Dear brother of Walter Baker. Loving grandfather of Sheri, Dawn, Robert, Eddie, Jackie and Rachel and great grandfather of Jonathan, Mellissa, Patrick and Britney. Also survived by many other loving family and friends. Prior to retirement in 1990, Mr. Baker was employed as a carpet installer with the Carpenter's Union #1823 for 50 years. He was a United States Army Veteran of WWII and an avid bowler at the Thunderbird Lanes at the Oxford Circle in PA. Bakley, Socrates R.

Socrates R. Bakley, 89, of Goshen, died on Saturday, June 12, 2004 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. He was born in Cape May Court House and was a lifetime resident here. He was a self-employed building contractor. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cape May Court House.

Mr. Bakley is survived by his son, Robert R. Bakley of Goshen; his daughter, Elaine Maund of Cape May Court House; his brother, Ralph Bakley of Lower Township; his sisters, Betty Ulasevich of Cape May, and Frances Green of West Cape May; his seven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sadie (Heinz) Bakley on June 24, 1991.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 17 at 12:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where relatives and friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Baptist cemetery in Cape May Court House. Bakley, Sylvia W

Bakley, Sylvia W. (nee Wolfrum) On November 15, 2006. Age 78. Beloved wife of Edward Bakley. Sylvia is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. Sylvia was active in local historical societies and her family was one of the pioneer farming families in Marlton. Before retirement she was the Asst. Postmaster in Marlton. Sylvia loved the movies, outdoors and after retirement getting back to her farming roots with her husband. Balascio, Anthony "Bud"

Anthony "Bud" Balascio, 82, of Wildwood Crest, died on Saturday, February 19, 2005 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. He was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Anthony and Catharine (Gable) Balascio. He was a Coast Guard Veteran of World War II. He is survived by one sister. BALCOM, Jeffrey S., suddenly on August 30, 2004 of Kirkwood NJ. Age 41. Beloved son of Robert & Julia (nee Nodich) Anderson of Kirkwood and Brian Balcom of Marenisco MI. Loving brother of Leslie A. Ali (Michael) of Voorhees NJ and Lynn M. Knudsen (Leif) of Tioga PA. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Jeff was a member of the Kirkwood Fire Company and the Gibbsboro EMS and Fire Company. He was a member of the Our Lady of Grace Church in Somerdale. Baldwin, Violet M.

BALDWIN, VIOLET MARY MARIE, age 88, a homemaker whose career included retail sales, cafeteria worker, and school crossing guard, died May 16, 2009, at Crest Haven Transitional Life Care Center, Cape May Court House, NJ of complications from a series of strokes over the last six years. Mrs. Baldwin was under the care of the Holy Redeemer Hospice.

Mrs. Baldwin was a resident of South Philadelphia, PA and Garden Lake Park, Cape May Court House, NJ.

Although Mrs. Baldwin (Vi) worked outside the home, her lifelong focus was on her family and friends. Her nurturing spirit and outgoing personality graced the lives of all that met her. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to Italian immigrants, Domenick and Antonietta Iacaruso in 1920, and married Richard K. Baldwin on July 5, 1943, celebrating a 60-year anniversary before Mr. Baldwin's death in 2004.

Mrs. Baldwin enjoyed cooking, volunteering with the Church and Wildwood Moose Lodge and most importantly to her, caring for her family.

Survivors include her son, Richard and his wife, Marie A. Urban; her daugther, Violet Rixey and her husband, Jim; grandchildren include Mark R. and Ruth A. Baldwin and Janna and Matt Rixey; great grandchildren include Wyatt, Garrett, Shea Lynn, Alaina Grace and Mercy Rose Baldwin.

A viewing will be held at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ on Monday, May 18, 2009, 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, May 19, 2009, 9 to 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, East Mechanic Street and Garden State Parkway, Cape May Court House, NJ followed by Funeral Liturgy at 10 am.

Interment will be in Sts. Peter and Paul cemetery, Springfield, PA.

Baldwin, Andrew W.

Andrew W. Baldwin, age, 41 years of Gaithersburg, Maryland passed away suddenly on Friday, November 5th, 2004 while on vacation in Savannah, Georgia. Andy was born in Wilmington, Delaware, the son of William A. and Pauline Hoff Baldwin.

Andy graduated in 1981 from Archmere Academy, Claymont, Delaware and from Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 1985. He was a Software Engineering Manager for Lockheed Martin Transportation and Security Solutions in Rockville, Maryland.

An avid scuba diver, Andy loved traveling and enjoyed designing and building projects at home. He is survived by his wife, Michelle J. Baldwin; his parents, William A. & Pauline Hoff Baldwin; his sister, Nico Michelle Baldwin; his wife's parents, Thomas and Suzanne Johnson; and brother-in-law, Jack Johnson

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 12th, 2004, at 11 AM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, New Jersey, where friends may call after 9:30 AM on the family before the funeral services.

Interment will be in the Cold Spring Presbyterian cemetery, Cold Spring, New Jersey.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 15th, 2004, at 4:30 PM at the Potomac Presbyterian Church, 10301 River Road, Potomac, Maryland, 20854.

Anonymous donations may be made in Andy's memory to the March of Dimes, 175 West Ostend Street, Baltimore, Maryland, 21230; or Archmere Academy, 3600 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, Delware, 19703; or Brown University, Gift Accounting, Box 1877, Providence, Rhode Island, 02912.
