BARONE, Frank P. on December 9, 2006, of Marlton NJ, formerly of Harrisburg PA, born and raised in Brooklyn NY. Age 83. Beloved husband of Ann R. Barone (nee Riddle). Loving father of Maryann Barone-Chapman and her husband, John of Wimbledon, England and Virigina Barone DePalma of Mahwah NJ. Dear brother of Anthony Barone of Monroe NY and Philip Barone of Port St. Lucie FL. A US ARMY veteran of WWII. He received his B.S. from Brooklyn College and L.L.B. and L.L.M. from Brooklyn Law School. Most of his legal career was spent in New York City, Suffern, NY and Harrisburg, PA. He has represented Bobby Darin, Julius LaRosa and other entertainers. He was the first Public Defender of Rockland County and was admitted into courts of NY, NJ, PA and the US Supreme Court. He was also highly involved in criminal justice education. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Thursday from 2-4pm & 7-9pm and Friday from 8:30-9:30am at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd. Marlton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10am at St. Joan of Arc Church, Marlton. Interment Odd Fellows cemetery, Medford NJ. Barone, James F.

James F. Barone, 76, of North Cape May, NJ, died on Monday, July 9, 2007 at the Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he has lived here for the last twenty years coming from Philadelphia. He was a police officer for the City of Philadelphia & detective with the Sheriff's Office and retired after 30 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of St. John of God Church, the FOP Lodge #5, VFW Post #5343, the Villas Fishing Club, and enjoyed spending time with friends and his dog "Ginger".

He is survived by his wife, Estelle S.; his step-son: Michael F. (Terry) Maiorano of Harleysville, PA; his step-daughter: Marcia (Ed) Krystopowicz of Williamstown, NJ; his sister: Josephine Barone of South Philadelphia, PA; and five grandchildren: Rachael, Lindsay, Cody, Carli and Hailey.

Funeral Liturgy will be said at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 13, 2007 at the St. John of God Church, 680 Town Bank Road, North Cape May, NJ, where relatives and friends may call after 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Saints Peter and Paul cemetery, Springfield, PA.

Barone, Giovanni

Giovanni Barone, age 55, of Goucester Twp, NJ died Tuesday July 31, 2001 at Care One, Evesham, New Jersey. Born in Italy, Mr. Barone was the son of Filomena Barone (nee Esposito) and the late Antonio. He is survived by:

Barracliff, Mary Lynn

Barracliff, Mary Lynn, 68, of Swainton passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at her home. Born in Orangeburg, SC to Ruben and Essie Taylor she worked at The Stanley Kup Inn in Springfield, PA and moved to Swainton in 2001 from Eddystone, PA. She was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

She is survived by her husband, Edwin "Butch" Barracliff III; her mother, Essie Keough (S. Carolina); daughter Kimberly Ann Pastella (Glen Mills, PA); son Daniel (Atlanta, GA); her brother, Robert Keough (SC); sisters, Harriet Crowley (Brookhaven, PA) and Joann Keough (SC); and her grandchildren, Shelby and Bryce.

Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mary Lynn Barracliff Memorial Fund c/o First Bank of Sea Isle, 1615 Route 9 North, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

Barratt, Robert W.

Robert W. Barratt, 59, Glassboro High School's athletic director for 19 years and a South Jersey educator for three decades, died of lymphoma Wednesday at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia.

He had lived in Glassboro for the last 55 years; he was born in Philadelphia.

Mr. Barratt started his Glassboro High career in 1974 as a math teacher and a coach in football, baseball and girls' basketball. He became athletic director about seven years later but continued to teach math part time. In 1999, he left his post as athletic director and returned to teaching full time until retiring in June.

"He was so well respected. He was like a legend, " said Donna Covely, Glassboro athletic director. "He would give kids rides to school while delivering a morning newspaper route."

Glassboro Superintendent Nicholas Mitcho said Mr. Barratt "was a very gentle, effective man . . . who enjoyed doing anything that had to do with working with youngsters. He was always extending himself for the benefit of youngsters.

"He was not just an athletic director, " Mitcho said. Mr. Barratt was the chess club adviser early in his career and "was very well-read as an educator."

He taught for many years in the school's evening alternative high school program for students having difficulties.

Mr. Barratt held numerous positions in the Tri-County Conference, including president and chairman of the scheduling committee.

He helped put together a community sportsmanship policy that went from Little League and midget programs through high school, Mitcho said. "He brought together many of the leaders of these organizations to develop the policy, " the superintendent said.

Mr. Barratt started his career as an educator in the Vineland School District, where he taught for three years.

He was a 1959 graduate of Glassboro High School, where he excelled in football as a quarterback, in basketball as a point guard, and in baseball as a catcher. He was inducted into the Glassboro High School Hall of Fame in the late 1970s.

After attending Temple University on a full scholarship and playing football there, Mr. Barratt graduated from Glassboro State College, now Rowan University, in 1968, with a degree in social studies and a minor in library science. He also received a certification in mathematics.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Catharine Murphy Barratt; sons Bryan and Ronald; a daughter, Lynda Kelley; six grandchildren; and a sister.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. tomorrow at the Glassboro High School auditorium, where a celebration of his life will be held at 8 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America, Southern New Jersey Chapter, 216 Haddon Ave., Suite 328, Westmont, N.J. 08108.

BARRETT, JANE M., of Cherry Hill, NJ. Age 89. Wife of the late Russell A. Barrett. Loving mother of Janette A. Barrett, Arlene Gajtkowski (Bill), and the late Virginia A. Barrett. Sister of Joseph Maines, Mary Rusnak, and Lillian Hodges. Grandmother of Kimberly Schuehler, Stacy Catalano, Russell Anderson, Jennifer Anderson, Patricia Anderson and Francis Barrett. Archible, and Patrick Shane Archible. Lucy was a member of the Marlton Seniors Club. BARTH, NANCY H. (nee Procacci)

On February 14, 2003 of Pennsauken, NJ age 83 years.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph N.; Dear sister of William Procacci and the late Louis, Anthony, Michael and Rose Procacci and Carmella Weber; Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Prior to retirement in 1973, Mrs. Barth was employed at Campbell Soup in Camden, NJ for over 25 years. She was an active parishioner at St. Cecilia's in Pennsauken, NJ and she was also a member of UNICO.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday from 9 AM at the Church of St. Cecilia, 48th and Camden Ave in Pennsauken; where there will be a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM. Bartleson, Dorothy Mary

Dorothy Mary Bartleson, 83, of Rio Grande, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2009 at Penn Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late John and Dorothy (Taylor) Rohrer, she moved to Wildwood from Philadelphia in 1946 and has lived in Rio Grande for the last 54 years. She was formerly employed by NJ Bell. She was a member of the Rio Grande Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening with her husband, especially her rose garden, ceramics, crossword puzzles, and watching the birds in her garden. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and knitted blankets for all of them.

Mrs. Bartleson is survived by her husband, John E. Bartleson; her children, Barbara Roth, John Bartleson, III, James D. Bartleson and his wife, Crystal, Betty Repici and her husband, Joseph, and Beverly Castagna and her husband, Tony; her sister, Betty Colburn; her 12 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Never know what you had until it is lost.

Bartleson, Janet L.

Bartleson, Janet L., 44, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2009. Born in Sea Isle City she was a lifelong resident of Cape May County.

She is survived by her daughters, Brittany and Cori Street of Belleplain and son Eric Stemmer; her mother Jean Rey of Wildwood, father Herschel (Gloria) Garrison of Leesburg; her sisters Jean (Andy) Ujhelyi of Woodbine and Judy (Ray) Bickel of Del Haven; brother Ron (Angela) Garrison of Swainton; as well as many uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.

Services are private at the request of the family. Donations may be made to the Rio Grande Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 406, Rio Grande, NJ 08242.

Bartleson, Sherrie E.

Sherrie E. Bartleson, 46, of Quakertown, PA, died on Sunday, February 2, 2002 in Beverly Health Care at Lansdale, PA. Born in Cape May Court House, NJ, she has lived in Quakertown for the past 10 years coming from Dennisville, NJ. She was a clerk for Prudential Insurance Company in Linwood, NJ, and the Wheaton Candle Company in Tuckahoe, NJ.

She is survived by her brother: Harry R. Bartleson, Jr. and his wife Sara of Dennisville; two nephews: Joshua Stagg, of Cape May Court House, and Jason Bartleson, of Dennisville.

Bartolomeo, Vincent F.

Vincent F. Bartolomeo, 81, of Cape May Court House, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2001, at the Presbyterian Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Born in Philadelphia, he lived here since 1991, moving from Brigantine and Philadelphia. He was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School, where he was an all-star excelling in sports and a graduate of the PA Military Academy as Lieutenant, also excelling in sports there. He was an Army veteran of World War II, where he served in special services in France. He then studied opera, and then entered the teaching profession having worked for the Philadelphia Public School System for 22 years as a Science and Math teacher in Elementary and High School grades. He retired in 1981 and then worked part time at the Brigantine Branch of the Atlantic County Public Library from 1983 to 1991. He was an avid golfer.

He is survived by his wife of ten years, Jeanette G.; his step son, Vincent Verna and wife, Denise, of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ; Step daughter, Michele Hume and her husband, Larry, of Erma, NJ; brothers: Attilio of Philadelphia, PA, and Albert of Radnor, PA; sisters: Rita Salamone of Philadelphia, PA, and Norma Cianfrani of Blue Bell, PA; and four step grandchildren.

Funeral Liturgy will be said on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2001, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Angels Church, East Mechanic St. & Garden State Parkway, Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may call after 10:00 AM. Barton, Benjamin H.

BARTON, on November 22, 2001, Benjamin H., Jr. of Cherry Hill NJ. Age 80. A veteran of the US Marines, Mr. Barton served during WW II. A resident of Cherry Hill for 46 years, Mr. Barton was a furniture salesman with JB VanSciver's for 45 years retiring in 1984 and was a member of Holy Rosary Church. He is the beloved husband of the late Louray M. Barton (nee Rutherford). He is survived by 1 son, Christopher Barton (Lucille) of Runnemede, 2 daughters, Diane Kondrla of Voorhees and Eileen Smith (Todd) of Cherry Hill and 4 grandchildren, Lindsey and Michael Kondrla and Samantha and Christopher Barton. Basarab, Joseph

Joseph Basarab, age 84, of Wenonah died Thursday at home. Joseph was born and raised in Philadelphia, he lived in Wenonah since 1959. He worked for Curtis Publishing Co., Philadelphia, PA for 25 years and Westinghouse Corp., Lester, PA for 10 years, retiring in 1981. Joseph served in the US Army during WWII. He is a member of Oak Valley Senior Citizens. He is the husband of the late Julia (nee Smeresky). Surviving a son Joseph of Wenonah and a daughter Maria Beers of Sicklerville, 4 grandchildren Jennifer Allen, Julie Basarab, Jason and Kimberly Beers, also 2 great-granddaughters Laurielle and Alayna Allen. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 10AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Black Horse Pike, Cecil. Parastas 9AM Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Basile, Anthony John

BASILE, ANTHONY J. passed away on February 5, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer at home, in the arms of his loving wife. Age 53. Resident of Blackwood, NJ. Formerly of Stratford, NJ. Anthony was a loving, giving, sensitive husband, caring and devoted father who always put his family first. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 28 years, Kathy (nee Coruzzi) Basile and two devoted sons, Matthew Basile and Kevin Basile, with their special friends, Sarah Torpey and Allison Ruggerio. Anthony is also survived by his parents, Tony and Carmella (nee Vattima) Basile of Stratford, NJ ; a brother Richard (Chris) Basile of Somerdale, NJ; and a sister, Donna Baxter of Marlton, NJ. He will also be sadly missed by his mother and father-in-law, Joseph and Ann Coruzzi of Marlton and his sister-in-law, Joann (Wynn) Rothong also of Marlton. Nieces, nephews, dear friends and co-workers will also grieve his loss that came much too soon in this life. Anthony will also be sadly missed by his special cat, "little guy". Baskerville, George

George Baskerville, 62, of Whitesboro, died on Friday, April 29, 2005 at home. He was born in Whitesboro to the late Robert and Eva (Keesse) Baskerville. He moved back to Whitesboro 15 years ago after living in Connecticut. He was a member of the NAACP. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by his daughter, Denise Baskerville and her husband, Javon of New Britain, CT; and many nieces (including Diana Baskerville of Sicklerville), nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2005 at 12:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Main St., Whitesboro, where friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.

Bass, Clare E.

Clare E. Bass (nee Duffy), 80, of Clayton died Saturday in Cooper Medical Center, Camden.

Born in Cross Keys, she lived in Clayton since 1953.

She was a drill press operator for Struthers Dunn Inc., Pitman, for 35 years and was an active member of the AFL-CIO IUE No. 140 Union.

Mrs. Bass enjoyed camping, traveling and gardening.

Surviving are a son, Wilbur T. Jr. of Clayton; five brothers, Francis Duffy of Magnolia, Donald Duffy of Runnemede, Larry Duffy of Washington Township, Terry Duffy of Cecil and Jerry Duffy of Collings Lakes; three sisters, Mary Denehey of Philadelphia, Ceil Rolf of Glassboro and Katherine Vargas of Blackwood; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Main Street and Carrol Avenue, Williamstown. Friends may call 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown.

Entombment will be in St. Mary's cemetery, Bellmawr.
