Bogushefsky, Joseph A.

JOSEPH A. BOGUSHEFSKY, age 91, of Woodbine, NJ, died on Friday, January 2, 2009, at the Eastern Shore Nursing Home.

He was born in Woodbine, NJ and was a lifetiime resident here. He served in the US Army during WWII and was a retired finish cabinetmaker for Nick Maile of Avalon, NJ.

He was a member of St. Casimir's R. C. Church, the American Legion Post 298 of Woodbine. Joe enjoyed painting with oils, fishing and hunting with his son, Joe, in Arizona.

He is survived by his daughter, Mary Lou Bogushefsky of Cape May and his son, Joseph A. Jr. and his wife, Janet of Tucson, AZ; a brother, Martin of Woodbine; ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Funeral Liturgy will be said on Wednesday, January 7, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Casimir's R. C. Church, Woodbine, NJ where friends may visit at 9:30 am. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery.

Bohacz, Maria Cymbalista

OBIT FOR: Maria Cymbalista Bohacz age 88 of Poughkeepsie, NY died Wednesday at her granddaughters home in Long Branch.

BORN: in Ukraine she had lived Poughkeepsie before moving to Long Branch a year ago.

PARISHONER: St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch

ACHIEVEMENTS: Member of Ukrainian Women's League Branch 89 in Kerhonkson, NY

PREDECEASED: by her husband, Julian Cymbalista in 1943

SURVIVING: her daughter and son-in-law, Oksana and Orest Bedrij of Poughkeepsie, NY, 2 granddaughters and their husbands, Roksana Bedrij- Arpa and Christopher Arpa with whom she lived and Chrystyna Bedrij- Stecyk and Adrian Stecyk and a great grandson Christiaan Bedrij-Arpa

A Memorial Funeral Mass will be on Saturday September 8, at 1:00 pm at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Long Branch. In her memory, donations can be made to the Children of Chornobyl Relief Fund272 Old Short Hills Road, Short Hills, NJ 07078. Damiano Funeral Home Long Branch is in charge of arrangements.

Bohan, Christopher C.

Bohan, Christopher C., 58, of South Dennis passed away on Friday, December 18, 2009 at his home. Born in Philadelphia to William and Carolyn (Lippert) Bohan, he moved to the area in 1986 after living in Baltimore. Chris served in the U.S. Army and later became the owner of Bohan's Business Machines, a local family business started by his father Bill in the late 70's.

Chris is survived by his wife Charlotte (formerly Hahn), daughter Wendy (Earl) Ambler, son Brenton Clark, grandchildren Grace and Caleb Ambler, sister Linda (Robert) Raber, nephew William Raber, and niece Nichole Raber.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Ave., Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. Visitation will be on Tuesday evening from 5 to 6 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2 to 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the American Cancer Society, Holy Redeemer Hospice Care - 1801 Rt. 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210, or The Christopher C. Bolinger, Cloyd Thomas

Cloyd Thomas Bolinger, 90, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. Born in Shade Gap, PA to the late Bertie F. and Lillian E. (Hoover) Bolinger, he lived here for a total of 25 years; he lived in Brooksville, FL for 22 years. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II. He worked for the Cape May County Bridge Commission. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cape May Court House.

Mr. Bolinger is survived by his wife of 69 years, Dorothy; his son, David and his wife, Julieann of Cape May Court House; his sons in law, Jim Newell and Ron Burroughs; his brothers, Norman Bolinger of Jacksonville, FL, and Zane Bolinger and his wife, Isabel of Williamson, NY; his sister, Marion Vay and her husband, Thomas of Ebensburg, PA; 12 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Nancy Newell and Judy Burroughs.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 1 Church Street, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

Bolinsky, Irene T.

Irene T. Bolinsky (nee Lesnefsky), of Franklinville, died peacefully on March 27, 2002. Age 82 years. Born in Beaver Valley, PA and formerly of Camden, NJ.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband Bernard "Brownie" and dear son Henry. Devoted mother of Allen (Tina), Benjamin, Kevin (Peggy), Sylvia Comerford, Marcia, Sharon (Anthony) Muller. Dear sister of Lewis Lesnefsky. Loving grandmother of 19 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Special friend of Sparky.

She was an avid bingo player, enjoyed gardening and loved her grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing 6-9 PM Monday and 10:30-11:30 Tuesday at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown, NJ. Borsina, Michael

Michael Borsina, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 11, 2002. He was 77 yrs. of age. Born in Highland, NY, he resided in the Leisuretown Section of Southampton, NJ since 1991 moving there from Paterson, NJ. A retired employee of Hal Eddie Construction Company in Clifton, NJ where he worked for over 40 years as a Construction Worker until his retirement in 1990. He was also a veteran of the US Navy and served his country faithfully during WWII and the Korean War. He is the beloved husband of Helen (nee Bratka) Borsina of Southampton, NJ. Also survived by his brother Egnasias Borsina of Highland, NY and his two sisters Angelina Fabiano of Kingston, NY and Mary Giordano of Hackensack, NJ. Relatives and friendsare invited to the viewing on Thursday from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd. Bossone, Joseph

Joseph Bossone, age 91 of Long Branch, died Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. He worked as a Butcher for Grand Union in Allenhurst. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Born in Long Branch, he was a life long resident. Joseph was predeceased by his first wife Grace Minucci Bossone in 1955; his parents, Dominic and Rose Ferraro Bossone; his step-mother Yolanda Bossone; brother Vincent Bossone and three sisters, Raffaella Bossone, Mary Palumbo and Nancy Margulio. Surviving is his wife of 48 years, Gianna Ferraro Bossone; four daughters, Rose Graziano and her husband Dominic of Eatontown, Joyce Villano and her husband Vincent of Oceanport, Victoria Leanza and her husband Anthony of Tinton Falls, and Rita Cianci and her husband Giuseppe of Tinton Falls; one sisiter, Louise DeSibio of Manasquan; three brothers, Dominic Bossone of Manasquan, John Bossone, of Youngstown Ohio and Carmen Bossone of Bricktown; seven grandchildren; Wayne, Lori, Dina, Dana, David, Christina and Sebastian Joseph; and three great grandchildren Dillon, Madison and Felicia. Mr. Bossone will truly be missed by all, and will always be remembered for his heart of gold, sincerity and kindness to all, especially his family.

Visitation will be held at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., on corner of Third Ave. Long Branch on Friday, March 11, from 5-9 pm. Bossone, Ermina De Fazio

ERMINIA DE FAZIO BOSSONE, 88, of LONG BRANCH, died Wednesday, April 30, at Gateway Care Center, Eatontown. She was a seamstress for many years before retiring. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Born in Philadelphia she had lived in Long Branch since 1938.

She was predeceased by her husband, Augustine A. Bossone, in 1988; and two brothers, Joseph and Trieste DeFazio. Surviving are a brother, Trento DeFazio of Italy; and several cousins.

Relatives and friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Damiano Funeral Home, at Third and Franklin avenues, Long Branch. The funeral will be 8:30 a.m. Tuesday from the funeral home followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass at Holy Trinity Church, Long Branch. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel cemetery, West Long Branch. BOTENSTEN, DOROTHY A., on February 22, 2007, of Cherry Hill, NJ. Age 84. Wife of William F. Botensten. Loving mother of Holly Sanborn (Edward) and Debbie Faucett (Thomas). Beloved grandmother of Tracy Easton (Charles), Thomas Faucett Jr. (Katie), Timothy Faucett (Jennifer), Elizabeth Sanborn, Robert Sanborn and William Sanborn. Great-Grandmother of Miranda and Timmy Faucett, and Charley and Christopher Easton. Also survived by her sister Marjorie Lewis, and her Loving Caregiver Judeith Robinson. Dorothy worked for many years in retail sales for clothing stores and for the Cherry Hill Tax Office. She loved to travel with her husband, not only in the US but also overseas. BOTTALICO, Dora Rita, of Cherry Hill NJ, age 78, died peacefully at home on September 11, 2008 surrounded by her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Beloved wife of John A. Bottalico. Loving mother of Greg Walters and his wife, Marge, Dr. Joseph Bottalico and his wife, Maria, Judith Arena and her former husband, Tommy, Dorann Longmore and her husband, Terry and Laurie Patragnoni and her husband, Philip. She is the dear grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Dora will be remembered as a selfless and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed dearly by all. On February 3, 2002, in Topsham, Maine, formerly of Indian Mills and Palmyra. Age 92. Beloved husband of the late Cecelia (nee Feeney)

Survived by his son John W. Bottger and his wife Kathy of Cinnaminson; 2 grandchildren John Bottger, Jr and his wife Betsy and Keith Bottger; and a brother Robert H. Bottger of Plano, TX.

Also survived by his devoted companion Kathryn Hilton of Topsham, ME, and her children Ruth Sasala and her husband Ted of Edgecomb, ME and Jerry Hilton and his wife Pat of Harrisburg, PA.

Mr. Bottger had been a salesman for Gaudio Brothers in Phila. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing 11am-12noon Friday at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, Rt 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton.

Bottone, Michael A.

Michael A. Bottone, boxer inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame in 1974, died Monday, February 10, 2003 at Monmouth Care Center, Long Branch.

Born in Naples, Italy, he lived in Newark before moving to Long Branch in 1949.

He was a Taxi driver in Newark and Ft. Monmouth. He also drove handicapped children for the Long Branch School System retiring in 1970.

Parshioner of Our Lay Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch

Predeceased by his wife, Jean Schultz Bottone in 1990.

Surviving are his son, Michael Bottone of Long Branch, three daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara Robertson of Long Branch, Josephine Bottone of Lakewood and Michele & Larry Critelli of Long Branch; two brothers, Angelo and Fred Bottone both of Brick, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren
