Born in Cumberland, MD, he has resided in Medford, NJ for the past 8 years moving there from Sicklerville, NJ. A Civil Engineer he worked for the NJ Dept. of Transporation in Trenton, NJ for the past 32 yrs. He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh in 1970 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He is survived by his beloved wife Nancy M. (Nee Ruel) of Medford, NJ, his loving daughter Nicole M. Bridges at home, his mother Bette (Nee Johnson) Bridges of Whiting, NJ and his three sisters Sherri Coletti of Atlanta, GA, Diane Supuran of Cocoa Beach, FL and Karen Monagan of Salem Co., NJ. Brigandi, Vincent J.

BRIGANDI, Vincent J. on December 18, 2007, of Mt. Laurel NJ, formerly of Marlton NJ. Age 77. Beloved husband of Sandra M. Brigandi (nee Seminara). Loving father of Vincent, Joseph and his wife, Marie, Stephen and Nicole Brigandi. Dear grandfather of Alexa and Joseph. He is also survived by his brothers, Domenic, Edward and Louis. A veteran of the US ARMY, Mr. Brigandi worked for the US Government as a civil servant. He retired at the age of 76 from BAE Systems, Mt. Laurel. Bright, N. Lucille

N. Lucille Bright, 84, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Friday, April 11, 2003, at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House. She was born in Bogue, KS, and lived in this area for over fifty years. She retired as Assistant Secretary of Cape Savings Bank after 27 years of service. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, quilting, and enjoyed traveling with her late husband, Lewis C., who died April 20, 1991.

She is survived by three daughters: Lynn M. of Cape May Court House, Berniece L. of Del Haven, NJ, and Kay E. of Goshen, NJ; two sisters: Cova Fink of Hill City, KS, and Melva Jean Coats of Bogue, KS; brother: Marvin Middleton, of Hill City, KS, and sister-in-law: Clara Fath of Titusville, FL, formerly of Woodbine, NJ.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at 2:00 PM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends amy call at 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Bright, Larry D.

Larry D. Bright, 50, of Woodbine, NJ, died on Sunday, November 28, 2004, in Salem County, NJ as a result of a motor vehicle accident.

Larry was born in Cape May Court House, NJ on May 8, 1954, the son of E. Douglass and Nadia (Sheldon) Bright. He had been in the construction business for over thirty years and was owner of Rite-Way Construction for the past six years. Larry enjoyed country line dancing, riding, and showing horses.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children: Larry D. and his wife, Danielle, of Woodbury, NJ, Andrea L. Glenn and her husband, Sean, of Cape May Court House, NJ, and Gregory A. Bright of Newport, NC; sisters: Barbara Klott of Newport, NC and Peggy Tappen of Wellsville, PA; brothers: William of Cape May Court House, NJ and Barry of Green Creek, NJ; and his two grandchildren: Kira and Ian.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2004, at 11:00 AM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may call after 9:30 AM. Brignola, Theresa C.

Theresa C. Brignola age 88 of Long Branch died Saturday at the Center for Hospice Care at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch

She was a secretary to the librarian at Shore Regional High School for 19 years before retiring in 1973.

Born in Long Branch, she had been a life resident.

She was a parishioner of St John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch

Her family was her greatest love.

Surviving are her husband of 66 years Louis R. Brignola, a son and daughter in law, James 'Jack' R. and Irene Brignola, Oceanport, 5 sisters, Mary Tomaine, Oceanport, Clara Colaguori, Long Branch, Anne Prout, Tucson, Az, Josephine Fischer, West Long Branch, Frances Witek, Tucson, Az, , 3 grandchildren, Christopher, Geoffrey, Renee Hansen, 3 great grandchildren, Kylie, Jack, and Grace.

On May 4, 2003, Michael J. Jr. of Shamong, NJ. Age 53. Beloved husband of Ruth A. Brignola (nee Blizzard) for 30 years. Loving father of Melissa A. Brignola. Devoted son of Michael J. Brignola, Sr of Shamong and the late Marianne Brignola (nee Marasa). Dear brother of Stanley Brignola of Secane, PA. Also survived by 14 nieces and nephews and 24 great nieces and nephews. Mr. Brignola was Executive Vice President of North Star Services, LTD. in Pennsauken, and was a former Philadelphia Mounted Police Officer. He was a member of the World Trade Assoc. of Phila and the NJ Motor Truck Assoc. Brown, Claude A.

CLAUDE A. BROWN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 10th, 2004. He was 86 yrs. of age. Born in Lawrence, MA, he is the son of the late Claude W. and Alberta (Kennedy) Brown and has lived in the Leisuretowne Section of Southampton, NJ for the past 1 1/2 yrs. He formerly resided in Barefoot Bay, FL. A retired Engineer for Polaroid in Waltham, MA, he retired in 1977 after 20 years of service and is a Veteran of the Army during WWII. He is the beloved husband of Gladys M. (Nee Carter) of Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ and the loving Father of Russell R. Brown and his wife Donna of Salem, NH and Claudia Sullivan-Buck and her husband David of Marlton, NJ. He is also survived by his Sister Pauline Hamilton of Andover, MA, his Brother Ellsworth Brown of Salem, NJ, 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Brown, Edna

Edna Brown of Houston, Texas, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007. She was the wife of David Glenn Brown, who passed away in September, 1974, and with whom she shared 47 years of marriage. Edna was born in Nelson, England in 1909 and moved to the United States at the age of 14. She was the eldest daughter of Thomas Redman and Sarah Ann Birtle of Upland, Pa.

After her husband's death, she moved from Milmont Park, Pennsylvania to Houston to be near her daughter and grandchildren.

Edna was very close to her family. Her strength, courage, love, laughter, and smile will be missed by her family and her friends. Edna is survived by her daughter, Dianna Lee Brown LeTourneau and her husband David F. LeTourneau of Houston, Texas, her grandchildren Danielle Elizabeth LeTourneau Anderson and husband Neil Anderson of Chicago, ILL, David F. LeTourneau III. and his wife Sara M. Hubbard LeTourneau of Round Rock, Texas, and 5 great grandchildren, Joshua Everett Charles Anderson, Eden Olivia Anderson, David Evan LeTourneau, Axel James LeTourneau, and Noah Glenn LeTourneau.

BROWN, ROBERT E., on December 8, 2007, of Marlton, NJ. Age 82. Beloved husband of Nelda (nee Cales). Loving father of Roberta E. Jones of Raleigh, NC and Robert E. Brown Jr. of Cameron Park, CA. Grandfather of Jennifer Rice and Rebecca Brown. Great Grandfather of Hannah and Benjamin Rice. Also survived by his sisters, Emma Seeger and Anna Davis. Mr. Brown was a proud US Air Force pilot who served his country in both WWII and the Korean War. He was also a Mason (Frankford Lodge #292) and a Shriner ( Zembo Temple, Harrisburg, PA). Brown, Bradley Shockley

Bradley Shockley Brown, 18, of Burleigh, died on Monday, April 4, 2005 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. Brad was born into this life on October 4, 1986, the son of Pamela Brown of Atlantic City and Renardo Shockley of Cape May Court House. He moved here two years ago from Egg Harbor Township. He was a lifeguard in Atlantic City and was an all-around athlete, enjoying swimming, track, football, and wrestling. He especially liked to dance.

Brad leaves behind to mourn his moms and dads away from home, Betty Shockley, Tina Zanetich, Daynna Wilson, and Roberto Rosario; his brothers, Nathaniel Brown, Renardo Shockley, Jr., and Rayshawn Shockley; his sisters, Calethia Shockley, Shaena N. Blount, Rayiana Shockley and Asiyah Shockley; his paternal grandparents, William and Lillian Shockley; his godmother, Yvonne Jones; his godfather, Marc Mollineaux; his godsister, Claudine Carter; his god grandfather, Elmer Jones; his uncle, John Waters; his niece, Cherne' Brown; and many cousins, friends, nieces, nephews, pals and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Rozina Waters, and his god grandmother, Jacquelynne Pilgrim-Jones.

Scott is survived by many loving family members and friends. A 1989 graduate of Cherokee H.S., Scott was a volunteer member of Evesham Fire-Rescue since 1989. Brown, Pearline

Pearline Brown, 79, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at her home. Born in Bamberg, SC to the late Vance and Minnie (Pelzer) Barnes, she moved here over 41 years ago. She loved to cook and take care of her family. She was a good mother to her children.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Henry J. Brown; her children, Mary Ables, Raymond Brown, Margaret Platt, Carol Brown, Kenny Brown, and Curtis Brown; her 24 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Brown, Dorothy I.

Dorothy I. Brown, 81, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Tuesday, May 11, 2004, at the Crest Haven Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Eldora, NJ, and was a lifetime county resident. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cape May Court House; served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict; and served as the Registrar of Vital Statistics for Middle Township for twenty two years.

She is survived by her daughter: Randy S. Trout and her husband, Howard of Cape May Court House, NJ currently living in Mannheim, Germany; sisters: Betty Burnley of Cape May Court House, NJ and Vera Wilson and husband, Robert, of Yardley, PA; and grandsons: Zachary and Joshua. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry W. in July 1993.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2004, at 2:00 PM at the Cape May County Veterans cemetery, Cape May Court House. Memorials may be made to the Middle Township Rescue Squad, PO Box 331, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

Brucker, Dr George J.

Dr. George J. Brucker age 81 of West Long Branch, a nuclear and radiation physicist and authority on atomic bomb radiation effects on electronic systems and devices, either on the ground or in space, as well as natural space radiation effects, died Friday, August 1, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He received his B.S. in physics and mathematics from St. Peters College, Jersey City in 1943. He enlisted in the navy and eventually was commissioned as ensign on completing Midshipman school at the University of Notre Dame. He was assigned to a Landing Ship Tank (LST) in the Pacific Fleet, Amphibious Forces where he participated in the landing of Iwo Jima and Okinawa, After three years and nine months of service, Lieutenant Brucker was honorably discharged from the navy. He returned to completing his education and received a master degree in physics from Columbia University, NY in June of 1948 and eventually a PhD in physics June 1955 from New York University.

Dr Brucker worked at Ft Monmouth as a Nuclear Scientist from 1950 to 1962 where he did research in the field of radiation effects in organic and inorganic scintillating materials. He left Ft Monmouth in 1962 and joined the staff at RCA David Sarnoff Laboratories, Princeton and then the Astor- Space Division where he was a Senior Staff Scientist, 1969 to 1992. There, he developed electric propulsion techniques, utilizing charge exchange and electric field acceleration.

Dr Brucker investigated and characterized the Silicon Intensifier Tube for use in the television system of the Apollo spacecraft and the Moon Rover Vehicle. He designed and carried out experiments to characterize state of the art semiconductor integrated circuits in nuclear and space environments.

After retiring from RCA/GE he became a consultant to the Army, Fort Monmouth on June 1992 where he designed experiments and investigated the properties of gamma ray and x-ray directional sensors for detecting and locating radionuclides. Dr Brucker also served as a consultant to the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt Maryland.

During his career, he published 94 papers in the field of radiation effects. Three patents were awarded to him and his colleague, Dr S. Kronenberg for discoveries resulting from research at Ft Monmouth, Nuclear Research Facility in the last 10 years of his career. Three more patent applications are still pending. A Monograph entitled "Electron Yields from Irradiated Targets Versus Photon Incident Angle and Quantum Energy", was published by the Government Printing Office, NY April 1999, based on work at Ft Monmouth.

Born in Jersey City, he had lived in Eatontown before coming to West Long Branch in 1969. A communicant of St Michael's Roman Catholic Church, West End, Long Branch. He was predeceased by his parents, George W. and Mary Brucker, and a sister, Ann Murphy. His family and friends were the most important people in his life and his career as a nuclear scientist was a passion that kept him going until the last day of his life.

Surviving are his wife of 52 years Gloria Orlacchio Brucker, a daughter and son in law, Dr Michele and Dr Kevin Brucker, Monmouth Beach, a son and daughter in law, Craig and Bonnie Brucker, Houston, TX, a daughter, Deborah Kelly, Chicago, Ill, and a daughter and son on law, Jackie and Robert Stuckey, Raleigh, NC, 5 grandchildren Brittany, Zachary and Kimberly Collier, Griffin Kelly and Kellie Box.

Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, corners of Third and Franklin avenues, Long Branch on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4, 7-9 pm. Funeral Wednesday August 6, at 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am Mass St Michael's R.C. Church, West End. Entombment Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. Memorial donations are requested to the Henry Pollack Memorial Clinic at Monmouth Medical Center, 300 second Ave, Long Branch or The Search Auxiliary, 73 Wickapecko Drive, Ocean, NJ 07712.
