BICKEL, JEROME E., on November 10, 2009. Resident of Mt. Laurel, NJ. Age 68. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Marth). Loving father of Jay Bickel and his wife Jenni, Chad Bickel, and Greg Bickel and his wife Jennifer. Also survived by his grandchildren, Santino and Gracelyn. Biddle, Samuel M.

Samuel M. Biddle of Camden, NJ, age 58 years. Died on Friday September 14, 2001 at his residence in Camden, NJ. Beloved Husband of Dinah (Nee: Rosell) Biddle.

Survived by Sons, Robert, Charles, and the late Samuel. Also, Ten Grandchildren.

Mr. Biddle has been a long time resident of Camden, NJ. Prior to retirement, Mr. Biddle was a Lieutenant for the Camden County Sheriff's Department.

Bieger, Sr., Paul A.

Paul A. Bieger, Sr., 87, of Avalon, NJ, died on Sunday, June 11, 2006, at his home. He was born in Newark, NJ, and lived in Union, NJ before moving here in 1978. Mr. Bieger was a retired Designer Draftsman for Bell Laboratories after thirty one years of service. He served during World War II in the US Navy. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, the Avalon Seniors, and had run a marathon at the age of 61 in four hours and twelve minutes after training for over a year. He was an avid swimmer and swam at the Crest and Crest Haven Pools three days a week doing 54 laps each day.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine (Hickerson), who he married fifty seven years ago on June 11; a son: Paul A., Jr. (Judy) of Piscataway, NJ; a daughter: Barbara M. Scheick (Theodore) of Eldora, NJ; and four grandchildren: Adrianne and Adam Scheick and Brian and Lauren Bieger.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at 12:00 PM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may visit after 10:00 AM. Interment will be private. Biehl, Dorothy

Dorothy Biehl, age 80, of West Long Branch died Monday, August 27, 2007 at home. She was a crossing guard in Oceanport for several years. Dorothy was a communicant of St Michael's R.C. Church, West End, Long Branch. Born in Newark, she had lived in Monmouth County most of her life. She was predeceased by her husband Dayton G. Biehl in 1986. Surviving is a son and daughter in law, John and Pam Biehl of Basking Ridge; a daughter and son in law, Joanne Patten-Ross and Donald Ross of Glens Falls, NY; and 5 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 30, from 7-9 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, on the corner of Third Ave, Long Branch. Funeral Friday at 9:30 am from the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am Mass at St Michael's R.C. Church, West End. Interment will be at Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport. Bielefeldt, Diane "Beatsie"

Diane "Beatsie" Bielefeldt, age 62, of Ocean Township died Friday July 8, 2005 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Born in Irvington, she had lived in Long Branch for 28 years before moving to Ocean Township 16 years. She received her teaching degree form Monmouth University, West Long Branch and had taught second and fourth grades at Hazlet School System for 39 years before retiring 2 years ago. She also worked as a mutual clerk for Monmouth Park Race Track, Oceanport for 26 years retiring this year. She was predeceased by her parents, Otto and Louise Bielefeldt and a brother Gary Bielefeldt. Surviving is her husband John C. Jarvis.

Visitation will be held at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave on the corner of Third Ave, Long Branch on Tuesday July 12, from 6-9 pm. Funeral Wednesday at 9:30 am from the funeral home with a service to begin at 10 am. Interment will follow at Mt Carmel cemetery, West Long Branch. BIERSCHENK, Jr. on Dec. 12, 2003 Gordon F. of Mt. Laurel formerly of Pennsauken age 66 survived by his beloved wife Lillian C. nee Zoll and 3 sons Gordon (Gretchen), Mark (Merlie), Daniel (Cindy) Nece and 2 daughters Dawn (Bill) Jones & Danielle (Paul) Peck. Mr. Bierschenk retired from the Pennsauken Police Dept. in 1997 after 25 yrs of service. Also a member of the Pennsauken FOP Lodge #3.

BIGGS, On September 7, 2003 Christine E. (nee Blakney) of Marlton, NJ for the last 15 years. Age 52 years. Beloved wife of the late David. Devoted mother of Lisa Kelley and Kimberly and Lynne Biggs. Loving grandmother of Jordan and Sonya. Dear sister of Pat and her husband Ted Schuehler. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews including Glen, Brian and Craig. Mrs. Biggs was employed as an LPN for 30 years at Lourdes Medical Center in Willingboro, NJ. Billings, Catherine Mary

CATHERINE MARY BILLINGS, 90, of LONG BRANCH, died Monday, Sept. 13, at St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Long Branch. She was a cafeteria worker employed by the Howell Township Public School System, retiring in 1976. Born in New York, she had lived in Howell before moving to Long Branch 11 years ago.

She was predeceased by her husband, James Raymond Billings, in 1992; and a granddaughter. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Kate Billings of Long Branch, and Robert and Jean Billings of Sparta; a daughter and son-in-law, Doris and William Kolesar of Port Charlotte, Fla.; a brother, Billy Norton of Texas; two sisters, Margaret Bowe of Howell, and Helen Whales of New York; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave. (corner of Third Avenue), Long Branch. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday from the funeral home with a service at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport. Billings, R. David

R. David Billings, age 54 of Long Branch died Thursday, August 2, 2007 at Hahnemann University Medical Center in Philadelphia. Mr. Billings was a graduate of Trenton State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Arts; he received his Master's degree from Jersey City State College in Administration and Supervision. He was the Assistant Vice Principal at Keansburg High School since 1999. From 1979-1998 he worked for the Long Branch Public School system as a Graphic Arts and Photography teacher. He also coached middle school wrestling as well as freshmen and junior varsity softball. Mr. Billings was the recipient of the Governor's Teacher Recognition Award for Long Branch High School in 1990; the William Paterson College Distinguished Scholar Award in 1994; Long Branch High School Teacher of the Year Award in 1995; and Employee of the Month at Keansburg High School in May of 2006. He was a member of the National Association of Supervisors and Secondary Principals; and New Jersey Principals and Supervisors Association. Dave enjoyed bar tending at Tuzzio's in Long Branch for the past 8 years; and was a member of the Long Branch Zoning Board. He was predeceased by his parents, James R. and Catherine Norton Billings.

Surviving is his wife, Kathleen Billings; a son and daughter in law, Jim and Deanna Billings of Wadsworth, OH; a brother and sister in law, Robert and Jeanne Billings of Sparta; a sister and brother in law, Doris and William Kolesar of Palm Coast, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 5, from 1-5 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue (corner of Third), Long Branch. Funeral Monday, August 6, at 10:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church at Red Bank, Tower Hill, 255 Harding Road, Red Bank. Interment will follow at Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport. Bingel, Joan

JOAN BINGEL (Nee Reinas) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, August 29th, 2007 at her home in the Leisuretowne Section of Southampton, NJ. She was 73 yrs. of age. Born in Phila., PA, She has lived in Leisuretowne for the past 12 yrs. moving there from Phila., PA. A retired Insurance Investigator with General Accident Ins. Co. in Phila., she retired in 1998 after 25 yrs. with the company. Joan was a Hostess for the Leisuretowne Ball Room Dance Club and the Coordinator of the Christmas Cocktail Party. She is the Beloved wife of Peter R. Bingel and the Loving Mother of Barbara J. Sentner and her husband Tim of Tabernacle, NJ. She is also survived by her Grandchildren Kevin & Ryan, her Brothers George Reinas and his wife Elaine and Joseph (Buck) Nogowski, her sisters Emma Michalski, Marlene Zebrowski and her husband Bill, and Barbara Eskuchen and her husband Harry, her Brother & Sister-in-laws Larry and Theresa Bingel and Michael & Betty Staffieri, her Sister-in-law Sue Bradley and also many nieces and nephews. She is the sister of the late Charles Reinas, Lorraine Staffieri and Jerry Nogowski. Bingham, Carol Jean

Carol Jean Bingham, 78, of Green Creek, NJ, died on Sunday, July 30, 2006, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Sea Isle City the daughter of the late Milton and Elsie Henderson Bingham and was a lifetime county resident. Carol grew up in Sea Isle City; attended the Ocean City High School. She was a longtime resident of Green Creek. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cape May Court House. She was grateful to AA by celebrating thirty eight years of sobriety. She was formerly employed by the Title Company of Jersey of Cape May Court House as a title searcher and recently the American Red Cross of Cape May Court House and Job Connection of Rio Grande, NJ She enjoyed nature, traveling, good food, watching the Food Channel and Animal Planet.

She is survived by a son: Doug Evans ( Nancy) of Dennisville, NJ and a daughter, Jean Fitzpatrick (Rob) of Stone Harbor; a sister: Barbara Bell of Delaware; grandchildren: Christopher, Brian, Lindsey and Ryan; nieces Bobbi, Terri and Onni and her best friend, Doris Coulter of South Seaville, NJ A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2006, at 8 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ where friends may visit 7 to 8 p.m. Interment will be private. Bisulca, Vincent J.

Bisulca, Vincent J., 83, of Ocean View, died on Tuesday, October 2, 2001, at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. Born in New York City, he was an area resident since 1954 after moving from New York. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He attended Calvary Baptist Church in Ocean View. He was the former owner of the Bayshore Lounge in North Cape May.

Mr. Bisulca is survived by his son, Peter P. Bisulca and his wife, Diane of Estell Manor; his brother, Chris Bisulca of Cherry Hill; his sister, Mae Tantillo of New York; his daughter in law, Linda of Kilmarnock, VA; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lona (nee Glaub) in January 1994, and his son, Paul in December 1993.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 5, at 12 noon at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Interment will be in Calvary Baptist cemetery, Ocean View. Bjorklund, Victor Hugo

Victor Hugo Bjorklund, age 99, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Tuesday, February 12, 2008, at Crest Haven Nursing Home.

He was born in Sea Bright, NJ, and lived in Cape May County most of his life. He was a retired cottage supervisor at the Woodbine Developmental Center. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Wildwood, NJ; enjoyed singing, dancing and listening to classical music.

He is survived by three nieces: Dolly C. Laing, Emily Bobrowski, and Dianna Waller; one nephew: Edward Carty; many grandnephews and grandnieces. He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet, in 1995, his sister, Dolly Carty, and brother, Arthur Bjorklund.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 15, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may call 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Baptist cemetery, Cape May Court House, NJ. Memorials may be sent to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2810 Atlantic Avenue, Wildwood, NJ 08260.

Bjorklund, Vera

Vera Bjorklund, age 83 years of Cape May Court House, NJ died on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at the Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, PA after a brief illness. Vera was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Bjorklund.

Vera is survived by her two step-daughters; Emily and her husband Leonard Bobrowski of League City, TX and Dianna Waller of Henderson, NV, brother-in-law Victor Bjorklund, niece Dolly Laing of Cape May Court House, nephew Edward Carty and his wife Patti of Cape May, cousins Barbara Smith and Eleanor Bush of Bangor, PA, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The family expresses their gratitude and appreciation to Crest Haven Nursing Home for their comfort, compassion and professional care they provided for Vera during her stay with them. Vera was a very special lady and loved by her family and friends. Graveside services will be held on 11:00 AM, Monday, November 5, 2007 at the Baptist cemetery, Cape May Court House, NJ.

Bjorkner, Viola M.

VIOLA M. BJORKNER, 92, of Wellington, Fla., a former resident of WEST LONG BRANCH, died Jan. 8 at the Wellington Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Long Branch; a past matron and 75-year member of the Order of Eastern Star Adah Chapter 5, Red Bank; and a life member of the Deborah Hospital Foundation. Born in Newark, she lived in Elberon and West Long Branch before moving to Wellington, Fla., three years ago.

She was predeceased by her husband, Alex E. Bjorkner, in 1978. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Arline and Fred Evans, with whom she lived, and Delores and Fred Hussmann of Orange, Fla.; a son and daughter-in-law, Arthur and Nancy Bjorkner of Centerton; a sister, Evelyn Breen of South Brunswick; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will hold a graveside service at a later time. Those wishing to express sympathy may make a memorial donation to the Salaam Shriners Transportation Fund, 369 East Mount Pleasant Ave., Livingston, NJ 07039.

Black, Margaret C.

BLACK, MARGARET C. (nee Burns) passed away on March 26. She was 92. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she resided in Audubon and Marlton, NJ most of her life, prior to moving to Ocean Isle, North Carolina in 1977. Wife of the late John R. Black. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Margaret and Joseph Collepardi Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Thursday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Gertrude Black, 84, of Washington Twp., passed away at home on Feb. 4, 2002. Formerly of Glassboro, she has been a resident of Washington Twp. since 1990.

BLACK, PETER P., IV. on March 23, 2004, of Somerdale, NJ. (Formerly of Marlton, NJ.) Age 23. Father of Daniel Gibson of Marlton. Beloved son of Kathleen Holt of Marlton, step-father Joe Conklin of Marlton, and son of Peter P. Black III of Phila., PA. Blackshear, Charles B.

BLACKSHEAR, on June 30, 2003, Charles B., Jr. of Marlton, NJ. Age 85. Born in Montgomery, AL. He served in the US Air Force in WWII as a glider pilot. He worked for Remington Rand (now Unisys) and lived in several different cities during that period, ending in Phila. For the last 30 yrs he was a resident of Marlton. He is survived by his wife of 30 yrs, Marjorie (Sutton) nee Miller, two sons, Dr. C.B. Blackshear of Chadds Ford, PA, Benjamin Blackshear (Julie) of Benicia, CA. Three step-children, Patrick Sutton (Debbie) of Punta Gorda, FL, Robert Sutton (Karen) of Medford Lakes, NJ and Peggy Ziomek (John) of Westampton, NJ. Nine grandchildren, Andrew, Colin, and Alexandra Blackshear, Weston and Jacqueline Corpiaux of Benicia, CA, Maggie Sutton of Medford Lakes, NJ, John Jr. and Kristine Ziomek of Phila., PA and Jennifer Ziomek of Westampton, NJ. Helen T. Blagrave, 78, of Albrightsville and formerly of Cheltenham, PA on Sunday, Feb. 25, at home. She was the loving wife of Richard Blagrave. She is also survived by seven children, Helen Hibbs and her husband, Donald, of Southampton, N.J., Kathleen Flood of Marlton, N.J., Dennis Crosby of Philadelphia, James Crosby and his wife, Maureen, of Marlton, N.J., Carol Danzeisen and her husband, Thomas, of West Chester, Richard Blagrave III and his wife, Donna, of Philadelphia, and Joseph Blagrave and his wife, Kathy, of Levittown; 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday from 7:00-9:00 PM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Route 73 & Evesham Rd. Marlton, (856)983-1005. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Saturday at St. Joan of Arc Church, Marlton.
