Brown, Walter J.

WALTER J. BROWN, 76, of OCEANPORT, died yesterday at home. He was employed with the Hudson County Road Department for eight years, retiring 16 years ago. He was a parishioner of St. Dorothea's Roman Catholic Church, Eatontown. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Las Vegas before moving to Oceanport four years ago.

He was predeceased by his wife, Wanda T. Bylino Brown, in 1997. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth W. and Carolina Brown of Oceanport, and Raymond A. and Debra Brown of West Orange; a daughter and son-in-law, Denise and George Galczynski of Jersey City; four sisters, Helen Beretta of Elmhurst, N.Y., Dorothea Hurley of Bayonne, and Irene Spicacci and Lorraine Alberti, both of Toms River; and five grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Damiano Funeral Home, Third and Franklin avenues, Long Branch. A funeral will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home followed by a 11:15 a.m. Mass at St. Dorothea's Church, Eatontown. Interment will be in Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport.

On January 6, 2002, of Voorhees, formerly of Audubon. Age 81. Loving mother of John G. Wismer of Alexandria, VA and Linwood R. Wismer of Marlton. Devoted Grandmother of John Brian Wismer, Brittany G. BROWN, LOUISE L., on December 17, 2009, of Voorhees, NJ. Age 88. Beloved wife of Thomas M. Brown. Robert Donald Brown and his wife Germaine Mary Kridlo Brown will be interred together on December 18, 2009 at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans cemetery - 350 Provinceline Rd., Wrightstown, NJ 08562. Service will start promptly at 11:00 a.m. all family and friends should arrive early at main entrance and follow Military Escort to Chapel. Mr. and Mrs. Brown were married on June 28, 1958 at St. John the Baptist Church in Pittston, PA. They spent most of their married life in NJ and retired to North Carolina in 1998. The Browns are survived by their daughter Elizabeth Sigafoose of Alexandria, VA; sons Robert D. Brown, Jr. of Medford Lakes, NJ and James C. Brown of Fort Bragg, NC; five grandchildren, Kristina Sigafoose Belangia, Alyssa Prima, Shannon Brown, Robbie Brown and Payton Brown; and two great-grandchildren, Tristen Belangia and Makayla Belangia. Mr. Brown is survived by his sister, Marie Walker of Wellsville, KS and his brothers William Brown of Mt. Laurel, NJ and James Brown of Naples, FL. Brown, Alice G.

BROWN, ALICE G. on July 31, 2006, of Collingswood, NJ. Age 88. Alice was a Graduate of Haddonfield Friends School, Haddonfield High School and Bucknell College. She is survived by her cousins Demi Blair of Virginia Rachel Gage of California, and also her friend Terri Kelly. Brown III, Charles W.

CHARLES W. BROWN III passed away suddenly on Friday, August 6th, 2004 at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Phila., PA. He was 61 yrs. of age. Born and raised in Phila., PA he resided in Medford, NJ for 40 yrs. He is the son of the late Charles W. and Mildred Brown. A retired Union Electrician with the IBEW Local #351 in Vineland, NJ, he retired in 1998 after 40 years with the Union. He was the Financial Secretary for the Union for many years. He is the beloved husband of Suzanne E. (Nee Frosch) of Medford, NJ and the Loving Father of Debra L. Dombrosky and her husband Robert of Mt. Laurel, NJ. He is also the Grandfather of Allison E. Dombrosky. A Celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday at 7:00 PM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd., (Rt. 541) Medford, N.J. (609-953-7600). Brown Sr., David J.

DAVID J. BROWN, of Tabernacle, NJ passed away suddenly on September 22, 2007. He was 67 yrs. David was born April 12, 1940 in Port Republic, NJ, to the late John & Evelyn M. Brown. He developed a strong work ethic at a young age while working along side his father at John Brown's Saw Mill. David joined the U.S. Army in 1958, where he received his training as a Heavy Equipment Operator while stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. He was later transferred to Alaska where he remained until he was discharged in 1962. He returned to active duty during the Cuban Missile Crisis. When David returned home he followed his passion and joined the Operating Engineers, Local 825, where he worked 44 yrs. as a Crane & Heavy Equipment Operator. "Brownie" was well respected by his peers and trained many young men in his field. He loved animals of all kinds and especially his horses. He enjoyed spending time at his vacation home in Farmville, VA. He retired to his farm in Tabernacle, NJ, where he maintained a chair at his wife Debra's feed store, (Allen's Feed). David could be found on any given day debating customers and spinning tales of yesteryear. He was a caring and generous man, whose wit and humor will be sadly missed by all who knew him, including his Beloved wife Debra (Nee Allen) Brown and the rest of his family and friends. Mr. Brown retired from the Army after 20 years of service and was a member of the Teamsters in Phila for 15 years. Browning, E. Allen

E. Allen Browning, 68, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2004 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. Born in Millville, he moved here in 1962 from Bridgeton. He was a staff accountant for Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. Al had his HAM radio license and was very active with the HAM radio. He played golf, enjoyed fishing and was a computer whiz.

Mr. Browning is survived by his wife, Ruth I. (Lloyd) Browning; his daughters, Lynda Callaway of Cape May Court House, and Robin Williams and her husband, David of Morrisville, VT; and his mother, Mary Browning of Bridgeton. He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar A. Browning.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 23, 2004 at 4:30 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where relatives and friends may call after 2:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery at a later date. Bruce, Jane Lynn Predmore

Jane Lynn Predmore Bruce, 93, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Sunday, July 30, 2006, at Crest Haven Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on February 25, 1913, the daughter of the late Winfield and Lucy Morrison Predmore of Collingswood, NJ. She was a graduate of Collingswood High School and Wilson College. She was married to the late John George Bruce. She was a devoted wife and mother and taught English and French at the Middle Township High School. A loyal member of the First United Methodist Church of Cape May Court House, she was a former Church treasurer and member of the Agenda Circle. Mrs. Bruce was preceded in death by her husband, John and her son Richard. She is survived by her sons: John Winfield Bruce (married to Zongmin Li) of Vienna, VA and Alan Predmore Bruce (married to Virginia Roth Bruce) of Medford, NJ; her beloved grandchildren: Sarah, Margaret, Laura, Jeffrey and Shao Bruce. BUBNOSKI, Zenon A.

On October 16, 2007 of Moorestown. Age 80. Beloved husband of Virginia "Rene" (nee Hicks) Loving father of Carl Bubnoski, and David Bubnoski and his wife Michelle. Devoted grandfather "dzia-dzia" of Nicole and Ryan. Dear brother of Alfreda Novak, and the late Henrietta Dragone, the late Florence Sholl and the late Regina Bisbing. Mr. Bubnoski was born above his family's business, Bruno's Café and Restaurant at Mt Ephraim and Atlantic Avenues in Camden. He served in the United States Merchant Marine during World War II, and later became the owner and operator of Bruno's. He also served as President of the Camden Tavern Owner's Association and was a member of the Wheelmen and the Antique Automobile Club of America. Buccinna, Michael J.

Michael J. Buccinna, 53, of Cape May Court House, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 23, 2004 after a brief battle with cancer. Michael was born and raised in Bronx, NY, and summered at the family home in Wildwood, NJ. He loved the water, and was an avid fisherman. He received a BA in Sociology from the City University of New York and worked for Consolidated Edison, before moving to Cape May County in 1986. He married , and found his niche in the Psychology Department at Woodbine Developmental Center, where he worked with the severely and profoundly retarded for 10 years. He was a member of the CWA Local 1040. He was a tireless advocate for the Men, and his unique sense of humor and creativity helped quell many a situation over the years.

Michael retired on disability from Woodbine Developmental Center in 1998, after becoming a whistleblower against client abuse. He found a new talent in woodcarving. He became an avid gardener and nature enthusiast. He loved life, and lived it to the fullest. He took pride in whatever he did, and always had a ready wit. He was kind and generous, and always maintained his high standard of values. He loved his wife, family and pets. He was proud of his heritage, and was always ready for a political joust. His ready wit carried him through the stages of his final illness, and will be sorely missed by all.

Michael is survived by his wife, Rene' Buccinna of Cape May Court House, mother, Catherine Buccinna of Scotch Plains, and sisters, Susan Humphrey of Chicago, and Jo-Anne Spatola of Scotch Plains, as well as nieces and nephews.

Buch, William A.

William A. Buch, age 86, of Avalon, NJ, died on Monday, September 24, 2007, at the Cape Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Woodbury, NJ, the son of the late Walter J. and Mary B. Yohn Buch and lived in Avalon since the mid 1930's. He was a construction worker employed by the Atlantic City Local of the United Brotherhood of Boilermakers. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a Boatswain's Mate First Class (T), and served in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of the V.F.W.; the Avalon Volunteer Fire Department and a member and past president of WASP.

He is survived by his son, William G. and his wife, Donna, of Goshen, NJ; his granddaughter, Angel Dille and her husband, Jon; and a great granddaughter, Hannah. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Helen Highfield in December, 2003.

A tribute service will be on Wednesday, October 3, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. For those who desire, memorials may be made to a local V.F.W., or the Volunteer Fire Department of Avalon, NJ, or the WASP (Wireless Aircraft Sports Pilots).

Buckalew, Helen E.

Helen E. Buckalew, 84, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2003, at Crest Haven Nursing Home. She was born in Ithaca, NY to the late Morris and Nora (Brosnan) Decker. She lived in Wildwood for 45 years before becoming a resident of Crest Haven Nursing Home in October 1998. She was a member of Church of the Assumption in Wildwood Crest, NJ.

Mrs. Buckalew is survived by her daughter: Betsy Alexander of Wayne, PA; son: Terry Buckalew of Wynnemore, PA; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are private under the direction of the Radzieta Funeral Home.

Buczynski, Marcie Anne (nee Schmidt). Suddenly on January 18, 2008 of Marlton, NJ. Age 37. Beloved wife of the late Walter Buczynski. Loving mother of Thomas "TJ" Musto and David Buczyski. Caring daughter of Susan Schmidt and the late Barry Schmidt. Dear sister of David Schmidt and his children Christopher and Rachael. Buchanan, Eleonora Mary

Eleonora Mary Buchanan, age 70 years of Avalon, New Jersey died on Sunday morning May 25th at her home. Mrs. Buchanan, (nee Vozzella) was born in Philadelphia and was a gifted Latin student who graduated Valedictorian from Bartram High School in 1950. Eleonora was the daughter of the late Mario and Mary (nee Mazza) Vozzella of Wheeler Street, Philadelphia. She attended West Chester University and worked at General Electric before meeting and marrying her husband of 46 years Paul Gregory Buchanan. Eleanora was most proud of her seven children, nephew, two nieces and 17 grandchildren.

She summered in Avalon all of her life and moved here in 1971 coming from Drexel Hill. She along with her husband, sister Camilla and her husband Joseph Damiri established the Avalon and Stone Harbor Pizza family restaurants and eventually, Circle Pizza in Avalon. The two families lived and worked together for many summers.

Eleonora was known for her constant love, generosity and graciousness. Her greatest joy come from spending time with her husband, family and many friends.

She is survived by her husband Paul G. Her children Linda M. Wagner & husband Kenny of East Windsor, NJ, Joseph Buchanan of Avalon, Gregory Buchanan & wife Dorothy of Avalon, Mary Beth Campenella & husband Peter of Shrewsbury, NJ, Lauren Buchanan of Red Bank, Paul Buchanan & wife Mary of Cumberland, Maine and Drew Buchanan & wife Gwen of Avalon, NJ. Her sister Camilla Damiri & husband Joe of Glenn Mills, PA. Her Aunt Liliana Seltzer (nee Mazza). Also survived by 17 grandchildren; Paul and Mary Wagner; Joseph, Melissa and April Buchanan; Stephen, Maureen (Rennie), Gregory and Timothy Buchanan; Alexandra, Peter and Perry Campanella; Carly, Emily and Paul Buchanan and Andrew and Anika Buchanan. JENNIE W. BUCKLEY (nee Walters) of Florence, NJ went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 14th, 2007 at the Samaritan Hospice Center in Mt. Holly, NJ. She was 97 yrs. of age. Born in Plymouth, PA, Jennie was a retired Cafeteria Worker for the Willingboro School District, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Plymouth, PA and a member of the Franklin Street Primitive Methodist Church in Plymouth, PA. She is the wife of the late James Buckley Sr. and the daughter of the late Frank & Mary Walters. She is the Loving mother of James Buckley Jr. and Nancy of Southampton, NJ and William Buckley and Donna of Florence, NJ. She is also survived by her sisters Ellen Moore of Mountaintop, PA and Miriam Klinetob of Monroe, NY and also 8 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is the mother of the late Edythe Hirleman and her husband J. William and the sister of the late Thelma, George, William and Frank. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday from 7:00 - 9:00 PM and on Friday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 West Main St. Plymouth, PA, where a Funeral Service will take place on Friday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Oak Lawn Cem. in Hanover Twp., PA. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family requests donations to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053. Bucsek, Ronald G., 72, of Shawcrest Section of Lower Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at his home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he has lived in Cape May County since 1980. He was a retired Sergeant with the Philadelphia Police Department and retired after 25 years of service. He was a local charter boat captain, a member of the Cape May County Charter & Party Boat Association, the Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #5, and worked for the Ocean Property Management Company of Wildwood, NJ for the last 10 years.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years: Penny; his son: Jeff (Debbie) of Belleplain, NJ; two daughters: Robin Grambey of Pennsylvania and Rene (Louis) Cutillo of Collegeville, PA; his brother: John of Somers Point, NJ; and his two grandchildren: Rhea & Emily.

Funeral Liturgy will be said at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 22, 2007, at Our Lady of the Angels Church, East Mechanic Street & Garden State Parkway, Cape May Court House, NJ. A viewing will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Sunday, January 21, 2007, at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Ave., Cape May Court House, NJ, and then from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Monday, January 22, 2007 at Our Lady of the Angels Church. Interment will be in Warriors Mark M.E. cemetery, Warriors Mark, PA. Memorials may be made to Love of Linda Cancer Fund, PO Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ 08260.
