Donahoe, Elizabeth Virginia

Elizabeth Virginia Donahoe, 97, of Clermont, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2003 at the Lutheran Home at Ocean View. She was born in Baltimore, MD to the late Blair Patterson and Myrtle (Fore) Overton. She lived in Camden before moving to Cape May County in 1972. She was very active in the Asbury Methodist Church in Camden.

Mrs. Donahoe is survived by her daughter, Leslie V. Adolf of Clermont; and her grandchildren, Michael Adolf and Cynthia Richards.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where relatives and friends may call after 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lutheran Home at Ocean View, 2721 Route 9 North, Ocean View, NJ 08230.

Donato, Ernest J.

Ernest J. Donato age 83 of Long Branch died Sunday, February 1, 2004 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was director of operations at Monmouth University for 18 years retiring in 1985. He was instrumental in the restoration of Wilson Hall and the set for the filming of "Annie" with Columbia Pictures at the college. He served his country honorable in the US Army Air Force during World War II. Mr. Donato was a parishioner of Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. He was born in New Brunswick and had lived in Jersey City before coming to Long Branch 50 years ago. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed cooking, gardening and his home.

Surviving are his wife Constance "Tina" Donato; 3 sons and a daughter in law, Joseph Donato, Long Branch, Dennis and Diane Donato, Interlaken, Phillip Donato, Little Silver; a sister Josephine Bruno, New Brunswick; and 3 grandchildren, Ellen, Elizabeth and Christopher.

Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, corner of Third Ave, Long Branch on Tuesday from 2-4, 7-9 pm. Funeral Wednesday, February 4, at 10 am at the funeral home followed by a 11 am Mass at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church. Entombment Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. Mildred Caiola Donato, age 96 of Long Branch died Friday, January 7, 2005 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was a communicant of Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Born in New York, she had lived in Jersey City before coming to Long Branch in 1952. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Donato in 1961 and a granddaughter Donna-Jean Roberts in 1998. Surviving are 2 sons, Louis Donato, Eatontown; Sammy Donato, Florida; 4 daughters, Tina Donato, Long Branch; Jeanette Castello, Eatontown; Rita Tomaini, Florida; Millie Rich, Long Branch; 10 grandchildren, Joseph Donato, Dennis Donato, Phillip Donato, Joseph Donato, Dianna Donato, Edward Castello, Elaine Venezia, Joseph Tomaini, Eric Tomaini, Jaeme Vitaliano;12 great grandchildren; and a great great grandchild.

Visitation will be held at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., on the corner of Third, Long Branch on Monday January 10, from 2-4, 7-9 pm. Funeral Tuesday, January 11, at 8:15 am from the funeral home followed by a 9:15 am Mass at Star of the Sea Church. Interment will be at Mt Carmel cemetery, West Long Branch. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the charity of your choice.

Doogan, Mark T.

DOOGAN, Mark T. suddenly on September 23, 2007, of Cherry Hill NJ. Age 41. Beloved husband of Kelly A. Doogan (nee Faunt). Devoted father of Mark Jr. and Amanda. Loving son of Sharon Doogan (nee Camarote). Dear brother of Ryan and his wife, Melissa Doogan. Mark is also survived by his father in law, William Faunt and several loving family members. He was a 1985 graduate of Collingswood High School and was a Managing Partner of Bugaboo Creek Restaurant, Franklin Mills PA. Dooley, Lynn C.

Lynn C. Dooley, 44, of Del Haven, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2007 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Jersey City, she moved to Del Haven eight years ago from Anglesea. She loved animals and people. She was very involved with wildlife, environmental protection, and the Humane Society.

Lynn is survived by her husband, Robert W. Dooley; her father, Richard Burr of Del Haven; her brother, Richard Burr, II of Harrisburg, PA; and her beloved Jazz. She was preceded in death by her mother, Constance (Schiff) Burr.

Of Westmont. Age 75. Beloved wife of Tom Doolin. Loving mother of Dennis (Sandy) of Merchantville, Dan (Lois) of Medford Lakes, Dawn (Adrian) of Houston, TX and Dena of Marlton. Devoted grandmother of Mary, Michael, Joseph, Stephen, Faith, Joshua, Destiny, Danielle, Kevin, Kacie, Zachary, and Sammy. Born in Phila., PA, he resided in Phila., PA and Shamong, NJ before moving to Leisuretown, Southampton, NJ where he has resided for the past 5 yrs. A retired Commercial Wall Decorator he has worked for the Economy Decorators Inc. in Phila, PA where he was a member of the International Brotherhood of Painters and Alied Trades Local #0587 of Phila., PA. for over 35 yrs until his retirement in 1986. A WWII Veteran of the US Army he is also a member of the VFW Post 1906 of Phila., PA and Post 7677 of Medford, NJ. He is the beloved husband of Dorothy (Nee Taylor) Doran of Southampton, NJ. Loving father of Joseph M. of Collingswood, NJ, Janet M. Brown of Shamong, NJ and Dorothy A. Pellegrino of Oaklyn, NJ. He is also survived by his brother Daniel Doran of FL and 6 Grandchildren. Loving grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 1. Mrs. Doron was a member of the Abundant Life Christian Church in Medford. Dorwart, Raymond William

Dorwart, Raymond William, 59, of Wildwood, died on Sunday, October 22, 2006 at Atlantic City Medical Center - City Division. Born in Camden to the late Victor Dorwart and the late Myrtes M. Mowers Sayre, he was a lifetime resident of Wildwood. He was formerly employed by Whitman's Chocolates in Philadelphia. He enjoyed repairing electronics.

Mr. Dorwart is survived by his sisters, Donna Cline, Dawn Argoe, and Teresa McCarthy; six nieces and nephews; and seven great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 27, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Cold Spring Presbyterian cemetery, Cold Spring. Doublisky, The Rev. Jerry Melson

The Rev'd Jerry Melson Doublisky, CSSS

The Rev'd. Jerry Melson Doublisky, retired priest of this diocese, died

March 4, 2009 at his home in Atco, New Jersey.

He was born in Burlington, New Jersey, on April 29, 1937, the son of Thomas Raymond and Evelyn Elizabeth Doublisky and grew up in Roebling. He was a 1969 graduate of The College of New Jersey and a 1972 graduate of the Philadelphia Divinity School. He was ordained Deacon by the Rt. Rev. Alfred L. Banyard, VII Bishop of New Jersey, on April 22, 1972, and Priest on October 28, 1972, by Bishop Banyard.

He served as Vicar of St. Peter's, Woodbury Heights; as Vicar of Church of the Atonement, Laurel Springs; Rector of Christ Church, South Amboy; Interim of St. Luke's. Woodstown; Vicar of Christ the King, Willingboro; Interim at Holy Trinity, Collingswood; as Minister of Evangelism at St. Stephen's, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania; and Priest in Charge of St. Mark's-at-the-Crossing, Williamstown.

He was Deputy Director of the Episcopal World Mission in NYC for two years. Most recently, he was the Chaplain of the retired clergy of the Diocese.

He was a member of the Congregation of the Companions of the Holy Saviour (CSSS) a well established order for celibate men in Holy Orders.

Surviving are his sister, Fern Giehl (Thomas) of Roebling, his nephews Duane Giehl (Karen) and Brian Giehl (Nicole); his great niece Alexandra and great nephews Justin and Tyler. Relatives and friends are invited to the Mass of Christian Burial 11am Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Christ Episcopal Church, 130 Prince St., Bordentown, NJ. 08505 Burial with his parents in Colonial Memorial Park, Trenton will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Christ Episcopal Church at the address above.

Dougherty, Ruth B.

Ruth B. Dougherty, age 76, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2008, at the Cape Regional Medical Center. She was born in Upper Darby, Pa. and had lived in this area for twenty five years.

Mrs. Dougherty was a retired secretary for the Fairfax County, VA school system.

She had been a volunteer at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital for twenty years and received the "Special Touch Award" in May 1997. She also had worked at area gardening centers.

She is survived by two daughters: Tracey W. Burrell and husband, Stephen and Leslie A. Whittet; a sister, Alice B. Price and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at 4 pm at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ. Burial is private in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 626 N. Shore Road, Absecon, NJ 08201 or the American Heart Association, 2550 US Highway 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902-4301.

Dougherty, Anna M

Anna M. Stockman Dougherty age 68 of Long Branch died Monday at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was the secretary for N.J. Coast Transfer Company in Long Branch since 1965.

Born in Brockton, MA she had lived in Oceanport before moving to Long Branch 25 years ago.

She was a prishioner at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church Long Branch.

Surviving is her husband, Thomas E. Dougherty; a son and daughter-in-law, Brian & Gayle Dougherty of Oceanport; 4 daughters and 2 sons-in-law, Barbara Dziedzic of Oceanport, Kim & Robert Czeslaw of Long Branch, Teresa Gordon of Long Branch and her fiancé Gregory Cattanach and Patricia & Gino Ranaldi of Italy; 2 sisters, Martina Boyce of Browns Mills and Arlene Gear of Florida; 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, Third and Franklin Aves, Long Branch on Wednesday from 2-4, 7-9 pm. Funeral, Thursday 9:30 am at the funeral home with a 10:30 am Mass at St. Michaels R.C. Church, Long Branch.
