Ruth C. Driscoll, 76, of Avalon, died on Sunday, December 02, 2001 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. Born in Glen Ridge, NJ, she had summered here since 1977 before moving here permanently in 1989 from Kinnelon, NJ. She worked as a registered nurse for Prudential Insurance Company. She was a member of the Smoke Rise Club, and the Avalon and Stone Harbor Yacht Clubs.

Mrs. Driscoll is survived by her husband of fifty years, Nicholas J.; her daughter, Phyllis Driscoll of Chapel Hill, NC; and her sisters, E. Jane Gehle of Augusta, GA, and Frances Neugerbauer of Glenwild Lake, NJ.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 5, at 2:00 PM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ruth's memory to the Humane Society of Ocean City.

Drizin, Leila

DRIZIN, LEILA, age 83, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Sunday, April 8, 2007, at the Cape Regional Medical Center. She was born in New York and was a retired secretary.

She is survived by a son, Ron, of Irvine, CA. Graveside services will be held 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at the Seaside cemetery, Palermo, NJ.

DROBIL, Catherine R.

On 7/23/2002, of Glassboro, NJ; age 83 years.

Beloved wife of the late Wallace P.; Devoted mother of Richard W. and his wife, Janice; Loving grandmother of Andrew J. And Elise L.

Prior to retirement in 1972, Mrs. Drobil was employed at Glassboro Public School System for over 20 years. She was a resident of Glassboro since 1955 and also lived in the Terraces in Sewell for a short time. Mrs. Drobil was a member of the Glassboro Eastern Star Chapter 234.

Relatives and Friends are invited to the closed casket visitation on Thursday from 10AM at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 212 N. Main Street Glassboro, NJ 08028; where there will be a Funeral Service at 11AM. Interment St. Thomas Church cemetery, Glassboro. Drogokupiec, Irena

DROGOKUPIEC, on April 19, 2002, Irena (nee Rawwo) of Marlton, formerly of Philadelphia. Age 79. Beloved wife of the late Arkadiusz Drogokupiec. Survived by her son and daughter in law, John and Lorraine Drogokupiec of Marlton, a granddaughter, Jennifer Ricchini of Tampa FL and 2 brothers, Henryk and Edward Rawwo of Poland. Drumheller, David C. On Sept. 19, 2009. Of Mt Laurel. Age 62. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Shelton). Loving father of Lorn. Dear brother of Jerry, Alan, Patsy Burr & Kathie DeNicola. David died from complications of PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy) graduated from Wittenberg College, Springfield, OH and was studying for his Doctorate at Syracuse Univ. He was an Engineering Manager with Lockheed Martin of Moorestown, NJ for 31 yrs. retiring in 2001. There will be a memorial service Tues eve. Drumheller, Russell H.

Russell H. Drumheller, age 68, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at the Mainland Division of the Atlantic City Medical Center.

He was born in Queens, NY, and lived in Pottstown, PA prior to moving here forty five years ago. He was a retired carpenter for Reichert Builders of Avalon, NJ, and also was a custodian for the Dennis Township Board of Education. He loved his Harley Davidson motorcycle, animals, and Sci-Fi.

He is survived by his wife, Marietta E.; two daughters: Brenda D. (Albert) Griffiths of Cape May Court House, NJ, and Pearl (Ken) Aaron of Green Creek, NJ; his sister, Floss Martino of Cape May Court House, NJ; three brothers: Warren of McAllister, OK, Leonard of Springfield, PA, and Robert of Gainesville, FL; three grandsons: Russell, Brian, and Mark, Jr. Hickman. He loved his dog: "Gizmo" and cat, "Cat".

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 29, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may visit after 9:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Methodist cemetery, Goshen, NJ. Memorials may be made to the Cape May County Animal Shelter Alliance, 110 Shelter Road, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

Drumheller, Grace

Grace Drumheller, age 96, of Green Creek, NJ, died on Sunday, June 3, 2007 in her own home, with her son Robert by her side in a peaceful transition.

After a recent severe stroke, Grace's wish to come home to pass was accomplished through the determination of her son, Robert and grandson, William.

She was transported by ambulance from North Cape Center on Saturday and after a restful night's sleep, in the early morning hours of Sunday, she had the chance to open her eyes and see that she was looking out her own living room window surrounded by the family pictures she loved, beautiful flowers sent and so many greeting cards. Not long after making sure she was home one whole day, Grace drew her last breaths with her son Robert by her side and returned to her loving husband Ellwood. She would have been 97 on June 13, 2007.

Born at home (1910) in Morton, PA to the late William James Hutchins & Ida Thomas, she grew up in the Holmes area of Delaware County and moved to Cape May County, NJ in 1964 living in Erma and Green Creek. Graduating the 8th grade from Kedron School, she was a lifelong homemaker and prior to World War II worked rolling cigars in a Philadelphia factory with her sisters. During the 60's, she was a waitress at Charlie Johnson's Restaurant in Wildwood, NJ. Driving until this past January, Mother's Day was her last visit to Trump Plaza and Casino where she enjoyed playing the slots on her outings with her son and two sisters Dot (92) and Barbara (99).

She was preceded in death by: her two husbands, Robert Och (1972) & Ellwood E. Drumheller (1989); her son, William S. Och (2004); two step daughters, Carol Koltunok and Phyllis Blessing; five brothers and sisters in law, Louis, Harry (Margaret), Charles (Hassie), Thomas (Emma) and Daniel "Sam" (Mabel) Hutchins.

She is survived by her son: Robert (Barbara) Och of Thornton, PA; daughter-in-law: Wyleen Och of TX; two sisters: Barbara McIlwain of Erma, NJ & Dorothy Lawrence of Holmes, PA; stepchildren: Jimmy Drumheller, Dottie Mc Kee, Janet Friel, Patsy Lavan; seven grandchildren: William S. Och, Jr. (Deborah) of Cape May Court House, NJ, Nancy Holzwarth (Dennis) of Dallas TX, Jacqueline Kerr (John) of Voorhees, NJ, Michael Och (Nicole) of Langhorne, PA, Kristin Gunn (Chris) of Austin TX, Robert J. Och of Bellingham, WA and Richard Och (Sharon) of Mifflintown, PA; seventeen step grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and many great step grandchildren.

Funeral service by Reverend Peter Thomas at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 9, 2007 at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Ave., Cape May Court House, NJ, where relatives and friends may call after 9:00 AM. Interment in Tabernacle cemetery, Erma, NJ.

Drumm, Claire

DRUMM, on September 18, 2003, Claire of Marlton, formerly of Delanco and the Philadelphia area. Age 85. Beloved wife of the late James William Drumm. Loving mother of Donald Drumm of Penndel PA, James Drumm of Delanco NJ, Diane Vendrasco of Dennisville NJ and Terry Di Pietro of Mt. Laurel NJ. She is survived by a sister, Sally Thomas of Philadelphia and 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Monday from 10-11am at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd. Marlton where a Funeral Service will be held at 11am. Interment Beverly National cemetery, Beverly NJ.

Drumm, Kathryn E.

Kathryn E. Drumm (Nee Jones) passed away on Monday, June 25, 2007 in the Medford Care Center in Medford, NJ. She was 94 yrs. of age. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she is the daughter of the late Harold & Anna Jones and has resided in the Hoot Owl Section of Medford, NJ for many years. She is survived by her son Joseph J. Drumm Jr. of Medford, NJ and also her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd. Medford, NJ, where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville, PA.

Drummond, George R.

George R. Drummond, 63, of Cape May Court House, died on Saturday, August 9, 2003 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. Born in Wildwood to the late George R. and Gladys (Curvan) Drummond, Sr., he was a lifetime resident of this area. He was employed by Gerald A. Barrett, Inc. for 35 years. He enjoyed restoring old cars and building.

Mr. Drummond is survived by his wife of 34 years, Doris Drummond of Cape May Court House; his three children, Angel Montgomery and her husband, Don, Carol Hess of Erma, and Karl Hess of Cape May Court House; 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, his sister, Georgia Johnson of Portland, OR; his sister in law, Rebecca Lee of Villas; and his niece and nephew.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Green Creek Methodist cemetery.

Drysdale, Donela J.

Donela J. Drysdale, age 29 of Piscataway died Thursday, August 12, 2004 at St Peter's Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Edison, she had lived in the shore area before moving to Piscataway.

Surviving are her mother, Jo Anne Mercurio; her father, Douglas Drysdale; two brothers and two sisters in law, Douglas and Heather Drysdale, Michael and Bobbi Jo Drysdale; and four nephews.

All services will be private. Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch is in charge of the arrangements. In her memory, memorial donations may be made to the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation, 8085 Saltsburg Road, Suite 201, Pittsburgh, Pa 15239-9925.

DUBE', ELIZABETH PAULINE

(nee von der Tann), age 96, of Moorestown, NJ died Sunday, March 21, 2004. She was born in Williamstown, NJ on March 1, 1908, the daughter of the late Catherine (nee Schulze) and Hugo von der Tann, and raised in Berlin, NJ. A graduate of Haddonfield High School and Glassboro Teacher's College, she taught the 5th Grade in Berlin. She met her late husband, Wilfred L. Dube', when he was stationed at the Berlin Barracks of the NJ State Police which was housed in her parent's home. Wed in 1928, they had 52 happy years together. She was a talented seamstress, a caring teacher, a gourmet cook and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. The Dube's traveled extensively throughout the world and enjoyed entertaining their many friends. Her interests were many, but her primary devotion was to her family. We, the recipients of her warm love and generosity, will miss her terribly. She is survived by her daughter, Yvonne Wolf (Roger), her grandchildren Brian Wolf (Joanne), Lisa Sollenberger (Jeff), Lynn Ferguson (Randy) and her great-grandchildren Amanda, Callan, Rionna and Tara. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday evening, March 25th between 7:00 and 9:00p.m. at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, Rt 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ and to her funeral services at 11:00a.m. on Friday March 26th at St. James Lutheran Church, Folsom, NJ. Dudley, Robert W.

Robert W. Dudley, 81, of Rio Grande, NJ, died on Thursday, July 22, 2004, at the Eastern Shore Nursing Home. He was born in Camden, NJ, the son of the late Percy H. and Alice (Borgard) Dudley. He was retired from the Atlantic City Electric Company as a supervisor after thirty five years of service. He served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Lower Township Loyal Order of the Moose. He had lived here for fifty four years.

He is survived by his children: Pat Lutz and husband, Clint, of Del Haven, Bob Dudley and wife, Linda, of Del Haven, Jackie Shelton and husband, Ralph, of West Wildwood, and Janet Dudley of Erma; grandchildren: Meggan Conover (Rob) of Green Creek, Bob Bowen of Del Haven, Jeff and Brian Dudley of Del Haven, Ashley-Gabbi and Courtney Shelton of West Wildwood; and great grandchild: Kylee Conover. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. on Feb. 2, 2003.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at 12:00 PM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may call at 11:00 AM. Dudley, Patricia A.

Patricia A. Dudley, 72, of Rio Grande, NJ, died on Sunday, February 2, 2003, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House, NJ. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, and lived here for fifty two years. She was a member of St. Raymond's Church, Villas, NJ. She enjoyed ceramic classes and crocheting, making dolls and was an avid QVC shopper.

She is survived by her husband of fifty two years, Robert W.; children: Pat A. Lutz and her husband, Clint; Bob and his wife, Linda, of Del Haven, NJ, Janet Dudley of Erma, and Jackie Shelton and her husband, Ralph, of West Wildwood, NJ; sister in law: Anne Clothier of Northeast Philadelphia; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral Liturgy will by said on Thursday, February 6, 2003, at 11:00 AM at St. Raymond's Church, Bayshore Rd., Villas, NJ, where friends may call at 10:00 AM. Duffield, Ruth W.

RUTH W. DUFFIELD (Nee Whitman), of Tabernacle, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 7th, 2008. She was 93 yrs. of age. Born in Camden, NJ, she is the daughter of the late George & Laura Whitman and resided in Tabernacle for the past 50 yrs. A retired Cottage Attendent for the New Lisbon State School in Pemberton, NJ, she worked there for 21 years until 1977. She is also a member of the Tabernacle United Methodist Church. She is the Beloved Mother of Karin D. Veneziale and her husband Alfred of Tabernacle, NJ. She is also survived by her 3 Grandchildren and her 4 Great Grandchildren. She is the mother of the late Donald and Patrick Duffield. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Wednesday from 9:30 - 10:00 AM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Duffy, William Robert

Duffy, William Robert, 59, of Avalon, NJ and Lexington, KY, passed away on May 30, 2006, in Prague, Czech Republic while on a business trip. He was born December 22, 1946 and raised in South Boston, Mass; and lived in the Philadelphia area prior to living in Lexington, KY. Mr. Duffy was President and CEO of Imaging Supplies Coalition for the past eight years. Prior to that, he worked for IBM and Lexmark for 31 years, retiring as an executive. Mr. Duffy treasured his Irish heritage and his childhood in South Boston. He was proud to serve in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and mentored many people in the communities he lived in.

He is survived by his wife of twenty nine years, Barbara; a son: Matthew of Bridgeport, CT; four daughters: Jennifer of Brooklyn, NY, Erin of Arlington, VA, Meghan of Dublin, OH, and Katherine of Avalon, NJ; three brothers: Joseph of Boston, MA, James of Severna Park, MD, and Robert of Milford, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Liturgy will be said on Thursday, June 8, 2006, at 11:00 AM at Maris Stella Roman Catholic Church, 50th St. and Dune Dr., Avalon, NJ, where friends may visit from 9:00 AM until the time of funeral. Interment will be in Calvary Baptist cemetery, Ocean View, NJ. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 626 North Shore Rd., Absecon, NJ 08201, or the American Diabetes Association, Southern Regional Chapter, 1060 North Kings Highway, Suite 309, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.

Duffy, William J.

Willaim J. Duffy, of Galloway, died on Saturday, August 26, 2006 at the Samaritan Hospice, Mt. Holly, NJ . William was born in New York City, New York and has lived here for the past 6 years coming from Brigantine, NJ.

He was a Navy Vietnam Veteran, a certified Yoga Instructor having had taught at Health For Life Yoga Institute and was also known throughout the Atlantic county area, was an avid Golfer, Sailor who enjoyed sailing whenever there was a breeze, loving and caring friend. Services and Interment are private.
