Goldeck, Robert F.

ROBERT F. GOLDECK, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at his home in the Leisuretowne Section of Southampton, NJ. He was 63 yrs. of age. Born in Chicago, IL, he resided in Southampton for 4 years, formerly residing in Cherry Hill, NJ. A Security Guard with the Shields Business Solutions in Moorestown, NJ he has been in Security all his life working also with the Salem Nuclear Plant and Wanamaker Dept. Stores. A Veteran of the Army he is a member of the American Legion Post 1000 in Trenton, NJ and the American Philatelic Society. He was an avid oil paint artist who loved painting animals. He is the beloved husband of Linda Cutler Goldeck and Father of Stephanie Kennedy of Williamstown, NJ, Stephan and his wife Jennifer of Grantville, PA, Robert F. Jr. and his wife Linda of Buena, NJ, Richard and his wife Lorraine of Erial, NJ and Raymond G. of New Egypt, NJ, also survived by his Grandchildren David Kennedy and Matthew Goldeck. Relatives and friends are invited to a Graveside Service on Monday at 10:00 AM at the Roosevelt Memorial Park 2701 Old Lincoln Hwy. Trevose, PA. Golden, Rose Santa

Rose S. Golden (nee Panella) age 90 of Cherry Hill, NJ died on Sunday, November 11, 2001 at her sons home in Cherry Hill, NJ surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the Late, Robert Golden and mother of the Late, Mary Lucille Snyder. She is survived by one son, Dominic C. Golden; one grandson, Joseph; a special goddaughter, Mary Lou D'Antonio; along with many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Goldman, Rita Ernestine

Goldman, Rita Ernestine (nee Smith), on May 3, of Ft. Pierce, FL., formerly of Cape May. Age 75. Loving wife of the late Barnet. Mother of Larry and his wife Kathleen of Waterford, Lee and his wife Cynthia of West Hartford, CT, George and his wife Darleen of Front Royal, VA, Gail and her husband Stephen Epstein of Kendall, Fl, and Catherine and her husband Bill Tucker of Williston, FL. Sister of Catherine Smith of CA. Survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Also survived by her dear friend Anthony Branca. Goldner, Paul

GOLDNER , Paul on March 15, 2003 of Southampton age 82, survived by his beloved wife Edith (Leonard) nee Winters. Paul was the husband of the late Jean nee Evaul Goldner. Also survived by his 3 daughters Lyn & Glenn Nec of Cherry Hill, Paula & David Rossman of Forest, VA & Jacque & Aaron Spiezer of Cherry Hill and a step son William & Becky Leonard of Glena, MD and 6 grandchildren. A member of the class of 1938 Audubon H.S. A 1st Lieut. in the ARMY during WWII, he received the Bronze Star & the Purple Heart, a member of the 84th Infantry Div. (Railsplitters). Formerly employed with several Dental Equipment Companies in sales and executive positions throughout the U.S. He worked for S.S. White, Kerr, Smith Holden, Ritter, Litton & HealthCo., he was a honorary member of the NJ Dental Society. As a young man Paul played semi-pro baseball in the Camden Co. leagues. A former president of the Covered Bridge Swim Club, active in the Tri-County Swim Assoc., a member of Tavistock CC and a member of the Mozart Lodge F&AM #121 & Scottish Rite Council of Southern NJ. During his retirement he served as the Assoc. Pastor of the Haddon Heights United Methodist Church and the Marlton United Methodist Church. There will be a Memorial Service on Wed. at 2 PM in the Medford United Methodist Church 2 Hartford Rd. Medford. The Goldner family will receive friends following the service. GOLDSMITH, JAMES F. on July 25, 2006 of Marlton, formerly of W. New York, NJ. Age 86. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Thompson). Devoted father of Gary Goldsmith and his wife Nicole, James Goldsmith and his wife Carolyn, Donna Costabile and her husband Frank, Brenda, Brian and Candice Goldsmith. Loving grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of 5. Dear Brother of Ronald. James was a United States Army Veteran of WWII and an avid Phillies Fan. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Saturday from 11AM-1PM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd in Marlton, NJ. Funeral Service will be held at 1PM at the Funeral Home. Goncalves, Estevam

ESTEVAM GONCALVES, 43, of LONG BRANCH, died Monday, Jan. 6, at Jersey City Medical Center, Jersey City. He was a self-employed carpenter. He was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church. Born in Brazil, he lived in the United States since 1997.

He was predeceased by his parents, Rafael and Maria Braga Goncalves. Surviving are two sisters, Val de Helena and Maria Araujo.

Relatives and friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, with a funeral service at 8:30 p.m. at the Damiano Funeral Home, Third and Franklin avenues, Long Branch. Interment will be in Brazil.

Gonnam, David S.

David S. "Buddy Boy" Gonnam, Jr., 17, of South Dennis, NJ, died on Saturday, December 18, 2004, at Children's Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Born in Stratford, NJ, he has been a lifetime Cape May County resident. He attended Seaville Methodist Church and Camp Sun 'N Fun affiliated through Gloucester County ARC.

He also attended Cape May County Special Services School District and was a student of Tom Melchiorre.

He is survived by his parents, David S., Sr. and Susan of South Dennis, NJ; sisters: Sheena and Tamara both at home; paternal grandmother: Joyce Gonnam of South Hampton, PA; maternal grandmother: Dorothy Ploucher of South Hampton, PA; godparents: Roberta Hoffman and Greg Gonnam; favorite pet Labs: Sam & Cleo.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004 at 2:30 PM at Seaville Methodist Church, Route 9, Seaville, NJ, where relatives and friends may call after 1:30 PM. Interment in Seaville Methodist cemetery. Memorials may be made to Camp Sun 'N Fun (ARC), 1555 Gateway Blvd., Woodbury, NJ 08096.

Gonzales, Rizalina

GONZALES, RIZALINA, on September 24, 2007, of Aston, PA. Formerly of Marlton, NJ. Wife of the late Herminio Gonzales. Beloved mother of Elisa Gonzales, Lourdes Sekel, Zenaida Elliott (Thomas), and Reynaldo Gonzales (Elizabeth). Also survived her brother, Leonardo Legaspi and 6 grandchildren: Jennifer Gonzales, Robert Sekel, Joshua Elliott, Jillian Gonzales, Mark Sekel, and Rachel Elliott. Gonzalez, Gian Carlos

Gonzalez, Gian Carlos, infant son of Jean Carlos and Gianina Delgado Gonzalez, died on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001, at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandparents: Jose A. Gonzalez and Liliana Mora; paternal great grandparents: Jose and Gloria Gonzalez; his maternal grandparents: Luis F. Delgado and Migdalia Perez, all of Puerto Rico; his uncle: Jose Gonzalez; and an aunt: Luz Mora, both of Wildwood. Graveside services will be private at St. Mary's cemetery, Cold Spring.

Goodman, Jean N.

Jean (Nickerson) Goodman, age 76 years, a lifelong resident of Wildwood and Cape May Court House, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at the Cape Regional Medical Center. She was born on July 23, 1932 in Wildwood and was predeceased by her mother Helen Nickerson, father Charles Nickerson and husband Philip Fulford in 1986. Jean was a Wildwood High School graduate class of 1950, Philip Baker Elementary School and was a proud member of the 50 Plus Club. Jean was an avid postcard collector and enjoyed making conversations about the history of the Wildwoods.

Many people may best remember Jean as "Mrs. Goodman", a long time truant officer for the Middle Township Schools. Jean loved her time working with the many students and faculty, where she touched many lives with countless stories. For many years Jean was a former volunteer with the Middle Township Ambulance Corps in its early days. She also enjoyed her many summer job experiences over the years. Jean will always be remembered for her enormous energy, funny jokes & stories, her outgoing personality and her enthusiasm for life. Jean enjoyed her years with her golden retriever Suzi.

Surviving are her three sons; Randal Goodman, Douglas (Barbara Cresse) Fulford, Joe (Linda) Fulford, her nine grandchildren; Tiffany, Krystle, Randal, Jr., & Ryan Goodman, Rachael & JoeJoe Fulford, Christine & James Dahlen, Jr. and Nicole Michaelis. Two great grandchildren; Joseph & Brielle Trombetta all of Cape May Court House.

Viewings will be held at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House on Tuesday, September 30 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 1 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. with her funeral service beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Interment will be in Cold Spring Presbyterian cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Craig Lozier Scholarship Fund, with checks made payable and sent to Middle Township High School, 300 East Atlantic Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210

Goodman, Karen L.

GOODMAN, KAREN L. (nee Divine) on March 31, 2005 of Voorhees, NJ. Age 57. Beloved wife of Leonard Steve Goodman. Devoted mother of Laura Howl. Loving daughter of Helen Divine and the late Donald. Dear sister of Donna Kaufman, Maureen Graham, Constance & Christine Divine. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Prior to retirement, Karen was employed as a Teacher's Aid in the Blackwood School District for over 20 years. She enjoyed plants, animals and loved life to the fullest. She will be remembered as a warm, sensitive, caring and fun loving woman who passed away before her time. Karen will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives she touched. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Tuesday from 9-11 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle Church Kresson-Gibbsboro Rd in Gibbsboro. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. Goodwin, Albert (Goody) Ennis

Albert (Goody) Ennis Goodwin, 97, of Woodbine, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2008. He was born March 16, 1911 at Cedar Island, North Carolina, son of William (Willie) Whitford Goodwin and Laura Styron Goodwin. He lived in New Jersey for 78 years, 60 of them in Woodbine.

Anna Babbish Goodwin, his wife of 65 years, predeceased him on November 23, 2001. He is survived by one daughter, Kathleen (Susie) Goodwin Nelson of Mt. Laurel; one step granddaughter, Carol Samuels; and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by four brothers, Fred Goodwin, Jesse Goodwin, Rodney Goodwin, and Harliss Styron.

Albert was loved by everyone. We fondly remember him visiting his family and friends. He enjoyed talking to people. He especially liked the many visits to Cedar Island, NC, traveling there into his mid 90's.

He was a great and compassionate man.

Albert spent his early years at Cedar Island, North Carolina, a beautiful island with tree lined beaches, waters filled with many species of fish, oysters, clams, mussels, shrimp and other natural wonders.

He enlisted in the United States Coast Guard in New Jersey as a surfman at Monmouth Beach Station on July 14, 1930. He served on vessels and stations at Monmouth Beach, Atlantic City, Avalon, Strathmere, Hereford Inlet Lifeboat Station, and North Wildwood. During World War II, he was aboard APA Hunter Liggett and APA Joseph T. Dickman.

Dad talked about the USCG and many, many World War II stories, special interests included the APA 13 Joseph T. Dickman, General George S. Patton, Jr, an extremely interesting military man - Dad told stories and expressed different views about General Patton, Audie L. Murphy Citation for the Medal of Honor Award. Audie Murphy also joined the Masonic Order and later became a Shriner.

Albert is a Freemason. He joined the Masonic Order at Cannon Lodge No. 104 South Seaville, NJ in 1946.

Later he became a Noble at the November 1, 2006 induction into Crescent Shrine.

As a member of the Tuckahoe Lion's Club, he served as President from 1967-1968.

He also ran for Democratic Council in Woodbine.

Albert served in the USCG for 21 years, retiring in 1951.

He was a member of the Woodbine Planning Board, member of the Board of Health, Associate member of the Fraternal Order of Police, member of the American Legion, and a life member of the V.F.W.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 27 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, Terry Diamond, 3551 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140 or the Free and Accepted Masons, Cannon Lodge No. 104, 370 Main Street, South Seaville, NJ 08246.

Goodwin, John T.

John T. Goodwin, 71, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2009. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late John Joseph and Anna A. (Dowd) Goodwin, he lived here for three years after living in Sea Isle City for seven years and Arlington, VA prior to that. He was a procurement officer for the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. He was a graduate of Roman Catholic H.S. Class of 1956 and of LaSalle University. He enjoyed travel and supported the alumni of Roman Catholic H.S.

Mr. Goodwin is survived by his brother, Anthony (Kathleen) of Sea Isle City; and his sister, Norita (Joe) Sykes of Mt. Laurel.

Funeral Mass will be said on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 10:00 a.m at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 35 East Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre cemetery, Cheltenham, PA. Memorial donations may be made to Roman Catholic H.S., 301 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107.

Goodwin, Caroline A.

Goodwin on April 24, 2008 Caroline A. nee Lutz of Sicklerville age 65 survived by her loving children Robert Goodwin & Jennifer Brooks a brother Theodore Lutz, Jr. 2 sisters Louise Sprouse & Judy Grandy 3 grandchildren Bobby & Danny Goodwin & Kaitlyn Brooks. Caroline was formerly the bookkeeper of the Harleigh cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Sat. May 3, 12:00 noon - 1:00pm at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt 73 & Evesham Rd. Goodwin, Anna

Anna Goodwin, 91, of Woodbine, NJ, died on Friday, November 23, 2001, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Philadelphia. She was a retired seamtress having worked for Kravitz, Feit and Franikliing Clothing companies of Woodbine. She loved animals very much, especially her cat "Tiffany". She was an outstanding vegetable gardener and will be missed by her family very much.

She is survived by her husband, Albert "Goodie" to whom she was married to on December 24, 1936; her loving daughter, Kathleen (Susie) Nelson of Mount Laurel, NJ; her sisters and brothers: Katherine (Katy) Beltz and her husband, Clarence (Bud) of Villas, NJ; Frank (Stanley) Babbish and wife, Betty of Williamstown, NJ; Alice Newbold and husband Dudley of Avalon, NJ and Richard Babbish and wife, Linda of Palm Harbor, FL; many nieces and nephews who called her "Aunt Annie". She was preceded in death by two brothers: John and Joseph Babbish and a sister, Sophia Jargowsky.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ where relatives and friends may call after 10 am. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 496 N. Kings Highway, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.

Goolsby, DaJon

DaJon Goolsby, 4, of Wildwood, died on Sunday, November 25, 2001, at West Jersey Hospital, Voorhees. DaJon was born in Woodbine on March 24, 1997. He is survived by his parents, Erica Williams and Jonathan Goolsby; his maternal grandparents, Dorothy Williams and Michael Johnson; his paternal grandparents, Doris Goolsby and John Easley; his brothers, Jzean'tl and Rahziq Williams; his sisters, Zaria Gandy and Spark'el Williams; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 30, at 2 PM at Horne's Temple, 315 Washington Ave., Woodbine, where relatives and friends may call after 1 PM. Interment will be in Mt. Olive cemetery, Swainton.

Goolsby, Ruth Virginia

Goolsby, Ruth Virginia, 69, of Woodbine, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2004 at her home. She was born in Jacksonville, FL and moved to Woodbine at a young age. She is survived by her husband, Robert; her children, Frank, Doris, Lawrence, Jamel and Virginia Goolsby; her brother, Richard Young; her sisters, Alice Broughton, Loretta Rogers, and Elnora Foster; 17 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert and her sisters, Mildred Bolling, Marie Edwards, and Gloria Price.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Seaside cemetery, Palermo. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 626 North Shore Road, Absecon, NJ 08201.
