DOROTHY E. GRILLO (Nee ZINKE) of Shamong, NJ, passed on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at the Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly, NJ. She was 77 yrs. of age. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she has resided in Shamong for the past 18 yrs. A loving homemaker and former waitress and short order cook, Dorothy enjoyed family & social gatherings especially around the holidays. She is the Beloved wife of Robert S. Grillo of Shamong, NJ and the Loving Mother of Robert J. Grillo and his wife Karen of Delran, NJ, Carl J. Grillo and his wife Renee of Milmay, NJ, Diane H. Sears and her husband Gary of Westampton, NJ and Patricia M. Ciemancky and her husband Dale of Estell Manor, NJ. She is also survived by her brothers Edward Zinke of Richmond, VA, Robert Zinke of Bolivia, NC, Matthew Zinke of Howell, NJ, Jack Zinke of Cape Coral, FL, and also her Grandchildren Jennifer Winser, Krystal Sears, Megan Kramer, and Ashly, Jacqueline, Matthew and Nicholas Grillo. She is the sister of the late Joseph Zinke Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday from 7:00 - 9:00 PM and on Thursday from 8:30 - 9:30 AM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd., Medford, NJ, (609-953-7600). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Eucharist, 520 Medford Lakes Rd., Tabernacle, NJ. Interment will follow in the BG Wm. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cem, in Arneytown, NJ. The family requests memorial donations to the American Kidney Foundation, C/O P.O. Box 1542, Medford, NJ 08055.

Grisoff, Marjorie A.

GRISOFF, Marjorie A. (nee Urban) on Oct. 22, 2007, of Marlton, NJ, formerly of Gates, NY Age 67. She is survived by her beloved husband, Samuel A. Grisoff and 4 loving sons, Samuel A. III, Donald and his wife, Karen, Joseph & David. Dear sister of Bobbi and her husband, Al Sutera and devoted grandmother of 7 grandchildren, Sam IV, Brandy, Joey, Brandon, Dean, Jacqueline & Xana and 2 great grandchildren, Zachary and Jacob. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Sat. 10:30am - 12:30pm at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd. Marlton where a Memorial service will be held at 12:30pm. Interment private.

Groff, Fenton Sayres

Fenton Sayres Groff, of Avalon, in the eightieth year of his life, died on Thursday, October 26, 2006. Born in Clarksboro to the late Fenton B. and the late Madeline (Gehkre) Groff, he vacationed in Avalon since the age of 5 and moved to Avalon permanently in 1963 when he built his home. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II and was in the first Naval crew to arrive at Nagasaki after the atomic bomb. He was a former district sales manager for DuPont. He was a member and trustee of the First United Methodist Church of Avalon and the Avalon Land and Homeowners Association. He was a charter chairman for the Avalon Conservation Commission in 1969 with the Dune Grass Program. He taught the planting, germination and growth of dune grass to Linda Camp's fourth grade class at Avalon Elementary School. He was also a trustee for the museum. He formed the 40's Reunion at Penns Grove High School.

Mr. Groff is survived by his wife, Judith; his sons, Douglas and his wife, Barbara of Linwood, Fredric of Smithville, and Fenton George of Egg Harbor Township; his daughter, Pamela Groff of Burlington, VT; his step children, Samuel Whipkey of Raymond, ME, and Julie Steavens of Miranda, CA; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and his former wife, Anne Groff of Mays Landing.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 34th Street and Dune Drive, Avalon, NJ 08202, where a visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Avalon or to the charity of one's choice.

GROSS, Margaret A. (nee Louis)

Peacefully went to be with her Lord, with her family at her bedside on September 30, 2008. Age 51, of Deptford. Beloved wife of William Gross. Loving mother of Donald and Justin Lloyd and grandmother of Zachary, Haydn, Madison and Delaney. Devoted daughter of Thomas B. Louis and Vivian Cook. Dear sister of Thomas Louis, Ellen Mary Jones, Michael Louis, Steven Cook, Matthew Louis, Kathy Cook, Spike Cook and the late Barbara Louis. Funeral Services will be private. She loved people, animals and all God's creatures. Margaret touched lives while she was here, and will continue to touch lives through organ donation. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Gift of Life, 401 N. 3rd St, Philadelphia, PA 19123 to further organ donation.

GROSS, Barbara A. (nee Rowand)

of Deptford, formerly of Camden. Age 73. Mother of William Gross (Margie) of Deptford. Grandmother of Donald and Justin Lloyd. Sister in Law of Elizabeth and Martha Rowand. Also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Barbara worked as a dietary aide at Underwood Memorial Hospital in Woodbury, and formerly at Esterbrook Pen Co. in Camden. Relatives and friends are invited to the Graveside Services, 1pm Wednesday December 6, 2006 at Harleigh cemetery, Haddon Ave., Camden. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Gross, John F.

John F. Gross AGE: 84

OF: Folsom, PA DIED: Friday, January 5, 2007. He was the husband of the late Marian L. Sydnor Gross, who died in 1987.

BORN IN: Conshohocken, PA, he was the son of the late John J. and Kathryn Kirwan Gross.

EDUCATION: Graduate Arch Bishop Kennedy High School Class of 1941

VETERAN: US Army veteran of World War II, serving in the 104th Timberwolf Division, 387th Field Artillery Battalion.

EMPLOYED: Finnaren & Haley Paints where he retired in the early 1990's. PRIOR EMPLOYMENT: Melchiorre Chevrolet, Norristown, PA, as General Manager for many years.

SURVIVORS: He is survived by a Son, Mark Stephen Gross and his wife, Sandra L. Lavender Gross of West Chester, PA; A Grandson Evan C. Gross and several nieces and nephews.

SERVICE INFORMATION: A viewing will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 10, at The Minshall-Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, 608 S. Old Middletown Road, Middletown Twp., Media, PA. There will be a short remembrance of life service immediately following the viewing. A private family burial will take place at a later date at Indiantown Gap National cemetery.

MEMORIAL GIFTS: In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of John may be given to Schoolhouse Senior Center, 600 Swarthmore Avenue, Folsom, PA 19033.

Grosse, Elmer Edwin

Elmer Edwin Grosse, age 101, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Tuesday, August 12, 2008, at the Oceana Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, the son of the late Friedrich and Minnie Fehrmann Grosse, and was an area resident for over seventy years. He was a retired machinist for the U.S. Naval Yard in Virginia Beach, VA. He enjoyed working with his machine lathe making parts for wheelchairs for his grandson, Kevin Bramble.

He is survived by his daughter, Joyce J. Bramble and her husband, William, of Cape May Court House; a son, Donald K. and his wife, LaFaye, of Edgewater, FL; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son: Edwin; his wife: Ida Charlotte; and a grandson, Gregory S. Bramble.

Private services and interment will be in the Cold Spring Presbyterain cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Holy Redeemer Visiting Nurses, 1801 Rt. 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210.

Grosse, Charlotte Ida

Charlotte Ida "Teddy" Grosse, 95, of Erma, passed away on Sunday, February 29, 2004 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Elmer and Charlotte (Woolfe) Quinn. She and her 97 year old husband, Elmer would have celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary on March 5. They still lived together on their own and enjoyed their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Grosse is survived by husband, Elmer; her son, Donald K. Grosse of Edgewater, FL; her daughter, Joyce Bramble of Cape May Court House; her four grandchildren, Kimberly Alexander, Jacqueline Anne Koob, William Bramble, III, and Kevin Bramble; and her six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Greg Bramble on May 21, 1983.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Cold Spring Presbyterian cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Redeemer Visiting Nurse Agency, 1801 Route 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210.

Grothe' (nee Albrecht), Michelle Renee

Michelle Renee Grothe' (nee Albrecht), age 39, of Chateauguay, Canada, and Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on September 3, 2008 at her home. Michelle was predeceased by her loving grandparents: William and Dorothy Albrecht. She loved to give them "Bear Hugs".

Her prized possession was the love and laughter she shared with her family and friends. Michelle loved her garden and raised beautiful flowers, her most precious flowers of all were her three children whom she loved, adored and nurtured with special care. She was a devoted wife to Ben and a wonderful mother. Michelle had a heart of gold, a great sense of humor and a positive outlook on life: "Don't Worry-Be Happy". Her kindness was like a breath of fresh air, and sunshine in her smile that would warm your heart. Her memories will be in our hearts forever. "Our Guardian Angel". She had a special place in her heart for her father. "She was Daddy's Little Girl" and would let you know she was proud to be an Albrecht.

Michelle is survived by her loving husband: Ben; children: Veronica (13), Zachary (8), and Emily Dorothy (4); father: William F. Albrecht, Jr. (Sophia); mother: Nicole Montpetit (Roger); brothers: Billy, Eric, and Michael; nephews: Will and Eric, Jr.; nieces: Christine and Olivia; special aunt and uncle: Pat and Phil Heun; special cousins: Vicki, Phil, and Boomer Heun and families; many aunts, uncles, and cousins that shared her love; and her best friend: "Eileen".

Grove, Julia M.

Julia M. (nee Vaver) Grove, AGE: 90

OF: Chester, PA DIED: Peacefully on Saturday, December 8, 2007

AT Fair Acres Geriatric Center in Lima, PA with family by her side. Born: Edwardsville, PA HAD BEEN A RESIDENT OF Chester, PA SINCE 1953 BEFORE MOVING TO Fair Acres 7 weeks ago.

EMPLOYMENT: Baldwin Locomotive works during World War II.

ORGANIZATIONS: Church: Member Middletown Baptist Church

Other: A woman who was dedicated to her home and family.

On Valentine's Day 1953, she married the love of her life the late, Harry W. Grove who died in 1985.

Sister of the late Lee Matelski and Genevieve Cebula.

Grover, William B.

GROVER, on March 9, 2002, William B. of Marlton, formerly of Haddon Heights and Gloucester. Age 84. Beloved husband of Catherine Grover (nee Hanna) of Marlton and brother of Edna Gecinger of FL. Mr. Grover served in the US Army during WWII and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Audubon. He was a devoted volunteer for the Haddon Heights Fire Dept. for over 40 years and a member of the Haddon Heights United Methodist Church. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Tuesday from 10-11am at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 and Evesham Rd, Marlton (856) 983-1005 where a Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 11am. Grubb, Stella G.

Stella G. Grubb, 83, of Seaville, NJ, died on Friday, March 27, 2009 at her home. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and lived also in Langhorne, PA and Sea Isle City.

Mrs. Grubb was a member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Sea Isle City. She was also a member of the Sea Isle City Garden Club and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She was an alumna of the Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in Philadelphia. She enjoyed feeding and watching birds, gardening, and, most importantly, her family and her home.

Mrs. Grubb was the devoted and beloved wife of the late Joseph I. Grubb, Sr., who preceded her in death on March 27, 2007; a devoted mother to her children: Joan O'Brien (Connell) of Ephrata, PA; Edward J. (Julie) of Belleville, IL; William J. (Rob) of Philadelphia, PA; Michael J. (Kathleen) of Mullica Hill; and the late Joseph Jr. She is also survived by her daughter in law, Carol Grubb; her sister, Wanda Watko; her eleven grandchildren; Jeanne, Kristin, C. David, Anthony J., Kevin P., Elizabeth, Edward Jr., Christine, Michael, Matthew, and Mark; her four great grandchildren, Molly, Michael, Nathan, and Miranda; and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Joseph III.

The Funeral Liturgy will be said on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 4308 Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City, where friends may visit 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls Scholarship Fund, 1000 W. Lycoming Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140.

Grubb, Sr., Joseph I.

GRUBB SR., JOSEPH, 82, of Seaville, NJ, died on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at the Crest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, and lived also in Langhorne, PA and Sea Isle City, NJ.

He was a self employed designated appraiser SRA-RM for the Tri-State Area. Mr. Grubb was a World War II Army Veteran, serving in the 131st Antiaircraft Artillery Gun Battalion and fought in the Battles in Northeran France, Rhineland and Central Europe. He was a member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Sea Isle City. He was a sixty year member of the Men of Malvern, and was Captain of the Sacred Heart Group; and a member of the Knights of Columbus Madonna Maria Council #3560. He volunteered at the Holy Redeemer Agency in Swainton, NJ. As an avid golfer, he was proud of his two holes-in-one.

He was the devoted and beloved husband of nearly fifty nine years to his wife, the former Stella Gawlinski; a devoted father to his children: Joan O'Brien (Connell) of Ephrata, PA; Edward J. (Julie) of Belleville, IL; William J. of Philadelphia, PA; Michael J. (Kathleen) of Mullica Hill, NJ, and the late Joseph, Jr.; a daughter-in-law, Carol Grubb; two sisters: Mary Cahill of Gulph Mills, PA, and Virginia Miller of Spring City, FL; also eleven grandchildren: Jeanne, Kristin, E. David, Anthony J., Kevin P., Elizabeth, Edward, Jr.; Christine, Michael, Matthew, and Mark; three great grandchildren: Molly, Michael, and Nathan. He was prceded in death by a grandson, Joseph, III.

The Funeral Liturgy will be said on Saturday, March 31, 2007, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 4308 Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City, NJ where friends may visit 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery.
