Gruchowski, Felix

Felix Gruchowski, age 87, of Cape May, NJ, died on Saturday, May 30, 2009, at the Court House Convalescent Center. He was born in Trenton, NJ, and was an area resident for the past eight years coming from Hiawassee, GA.

He was a retired sheetmetal worker for the C.B. Hill Company of Trenton, NJ. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Stockton Rod and Gun Club.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda L. of Cape May, NJ; and a brother in law, Jerry Arnold of Browns Mills, NJ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bette, and a son, Michael.

Funeral services and interment are private.

Gruman, Jean Clark

GRUMAN, Jean (nee Clark). On May 15, 2004 of Marlton formerly of Cherry Hill and Haddonfield and born in Bear Creek PA. Age 75.Survived by here husband of 45 years Alvin "Al" Gruman. She is also survived by her two sons and daughter, Clark and his wife Barbara of Mullica Hill, William and his wife Ann of Vineland , and Linda Gruman of Lynnewood. Loving grandmother of William, Ryan, Kyle, Lindsay, Lauren, and great grandmother of Joseph and Taylor. Also survived by many loving cousins. Jean was the former owner of Jean Gruman Limited Jewelry & Gift Shop in Haddonfeild. She was always known for being kind hearted and always putting others before herself. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Wednesday from 7-9PM and Thursday 10-11AM at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME. Rt. 73 and Evesham Road, Marlton, NJ where a funeral service will be held at 11AM. Entombment, Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill.

Gruman, Alvin 'Al' H.

GRUMAN, Alvin H. 'Al' on April 15, 2008, of Marlton NJ. Age 82. Beloved husband of the late Jean Clark Gruman. Loving father of 2 sons and 1 daughter, Clark and his wife, Barbara of Mullica Hill, William and his wife, Anne of Vineland and Linda Gruman of Ventnor. Dear grandfather of William, Ryan, Kyle, Lindsay, Lauren and the late Brian and great grandfather of Joseph, Taylor and Parker. Mr. Gruman was owner and operator of many businesses including Hi Nella Inn and Clark's Liquors. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Thursday from 7-9pm and Friday from 10-11am at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 and Evesham Rd. Marlton where a Funeral Service will be held at 11am. Entombment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill. If desired, donations may be made in Al's memory to the National Kidney Foundation 30 East 33rd St. New York NY 10016.

Grundy, Kathryn C.

Kathryn C. Grundy, 63, on July 13, 2006, of Rio Grande, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia, PA. Wife of Richard L. Egan and mother of Jack (Cynthia) Grundy, Brenda (Keith) Davis, Charlene (Kenny) Wagman, Denise Egan, and Kathleen (Fred) Savoni; sister of Charlie, Howard, Larry, Nancy, and Loretta; also survived by twelve grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Services on Sunday, July 23, 2006, at 2:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church, 601 Seneca St., Essington, PA 19029. Interment is private. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 527 Plymouth Road, Suite 403, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.

Grytko, Carl E.

GRYTKO, CARL E. on March 21, 2004 of Marlton for 20 years, formerly of Haddon Heights, born in Plymouth, PA. Age 83. Beloved husband of Ruth (nee Grigger) for almost 62 years. Devoted father of Kathryn Grimes of Naples, FL and Elise and her husband Dr. Andrew Blumenthal of Blue Bell, PA. Loving grandfather of Summer, Carla, Amy and Eric. Brother of Julius Gryctko of Indianapolis, IN and Bernadine Musselman of Cocoa Beach, FL. Uncle of the Honorable Thomas Trettis of Naples, FL. Also survived by many other loving family and friends. Mr. Grytko earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University and his MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He taught Electrical Engineering at Drexel University for 17 years, after retirement in 1981 from Gould Inc. as a Vice President of Operations. He has over 100 Electrical Engineering patents in his name. Mr. Grytko was a United States Navy Veteran of WWII. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday from 9-10 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 South in Marlton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM at the Church of St. Joan of Arc, 100 Willow Bend Rd. in Marlton. Interment Brig. General William C. Doyle Vet. Memorial cemetery in Arneytown, NJ.

Guarino, Catherine

Catherine Guarino, age 98, of Avalon, NJ, died on Sunday, September 7, 2008, at the Cape Regional Medical Center, Cape May Court House, NJ.

She was born in New York City, the daugther of the late Bartholomew and Bridget Boland Sullivan. A long time resident of Avalon, she has lived with her grandchildren in West Caldwell, NJ for the last 3 years. Mrs. Guarino was a member of the Maris Stella Church in Avalon and the Rosary Society. She was a dispatcher for HOW (Help on Wheels) for volunteers to provide transportation for persons having medical appointments, food shopping, etc. She was a member of the exercise group Sit And Be Fit, and in her early years had worked in New York City for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. She was the quintessential girlfriend and the beloved Granny to hundreds. The day of her death was fittingly Grandparent's Day.

She is survived by three grandchildren: Thomas M. Morrissey, Jr. (Sharon) of West Caldwell, NJ, Penelope M. McNally (Gregory) of Ramsey, NJ, and Michael J. Morrissey (Francesca) of New Milford, CT; thirteen great grandchildren; and her son in law: Thomas M. Morrissey of Tuxedo Park, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen, in 1988, and her daughter, Madeline Morrissey, in 1991.

Funeral Liturgy will be said on Saturday, September 13, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at Maris Stella Church, 50th St. and Dune Drive, Avalon, NJ, where friends may visit from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery, Cape May Court House, NJ. A Memorial Mass will also be celebrated on Thursday, September 18, 2008, at 6:30 p.m. at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Caldwell, NJ. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.

Guazzaloca, Richard A.

Guazzaloca, Richard A. On October 4, 2008. Age 82. Of Marlton, NJ. Beloved husband of Elisea (nee Radano) for fifty eight years. Loving father of Geri Steuber (David), Maria Archer (Scott), Elisea Hewitson (Andrew) and Richard Guazzoloca. Dear brother of Gloria (Glenn) and Donald. Caring grandfather of Keli, Lisa, Michael, AJ, Katie and Haley. Richard served his country in the U.S Army during WWII and enjoyed working around his home and being around his family. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.

Gudicello, Peter T.

Peter T. Gudicello age 88 of Monmouth Beach died Sunday January 19, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch.

Born in Bayonne, he had lived Monmouth Beach since 1962.

He was a retired self-employed pharmacist in Bayonne and Little Silver for 47 years.

A parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch

He was a member of the Monmouth County Pharmaceutical Society.

He was predeceased by his 1st wife Frances Ferazzi Gudicello in 1982 and his 2nd wife Martha Vicenzi Gudicello.

Surviving are 2 sons and 2 daughters in law, Peter and Christine Gudicello, Weston, Florida, Dr Frank and Joan Gudicello, Key Largo, Fla and Colts Neck, a daughter and son in law, Marie and Robert Halloran, Little Silver, 2 sisters, Lillian Burke, Bayonne, Margaret Scorese, Denville, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, Third and Franklin Aves, Long Branch on Tuesday from 2-4 7-9 pm. Funeral Wednesday January 22, 8:30 am here at the funeral home followed by a 9:30 am Mass at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Long Branch. Entombment will be in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge. Memorial donations are requested to The Mental Health Association of Monmouth County, 59 Board Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724.

Guerra, Mary A.

Mary A. Guerra, 72, a former resident of Rio Grande, NJ, died on Friday, March 11, 2005, at the home of her son in Del Haven, NJ. She was born in Brooklawn, NJ, and lived in Stratford, NJ before moving to Rio Grande, NJ. She then moved to Zephyrhills, FL in 1989. She was employed by Horn and Hardarts and RCA of Camden; the Bancroft School for Disabled Children in Haddonfield; volunteered at the E. Pasco, FL Hospital. She was a 1951 graduate of Gloucester High School. She enjoyed crafts and was a computer buff.

She is survived by her husband, Gregory P.; her son: Gregory J. (Barbara) of Del Haven, NJ; daughters: Marie Zane (Tom) of Collingswood, NJ and Betty Jane Stackhouse (Frank) of Cape May Court House, NJ; brother: Matthew Chambers of Jacksonville, FL; six grandchildren: Frankie, Christina and Joseph Stackhouse, and Gregory J., Jr., Nichole and Nina Guerra. She was predeceased by two brothers: Elmer and Johnny Chambers.

Funeral Liturgy will be said on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at 11:00 AM at St. Raymond's RC Church, E. Hudson Av., Villas, NJ, where friends may call at 10:00 AM. Interment in Chapel Hill Gardens, Dade City, FL. Memorials may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 516 High St., Mount Holly, NJ 08060.

Guess, Howard

GUESS, HOWARD, a native of Norfolk, VA and a long-time resident of Pennsylvania and Mt. Laurel, NJ, passed away on October 10, 2009, at the age of 77.

A veteran of the US Air Force during the Korean War. He graduated from the College of William & Mary. Beginning his career as a CPA, working for Lybrand, Ross Brothers & Montgomery Accounting Firm; then, at the personal business office of the Est. of J.N. Pew, deceased.

Later, he formed his own accounting office, Howard Guess & Associates. Treasurer and a Board Director of Glenmede Trust Company and Kimberton Farm School.

A founding member and partner of Stonewall Golf Club and also, a founding member of French Creek Golf Club, both in Elverson, PA. A member of Ramblewood Civic Association. Chairman of Camping, Boy Scouts of America, Troop 76 in Mt. Laurel.

Eagles' fan and season ticket holder for over 35 years.

Beloved husband of 53 years to Florence (nee Gillikin).

Loving father of Howard O. Guess Jr., JD and his wife Andrea and her daughter, Alexandria.

Brother of Betty Guess Williams and her husband James.

Brother-in-law of Dr. Ross Gillikin.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Thursday 15 from 11:00 AM -12:30 PM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ.

Funeral Service will be 12:30 PM at the funeral home.

Interment will be on Monday October 19, 2009 in Norfolk, VA

Guida, Victoria T.

Victoria T. Guida, 80, of Woodbine, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2003 at home. Born in Woodbine to the late Joseph and Mary (Drystek) Mack, Sr., she was a lifetime resident here. She was a seamstress at the Woodbine Developmental Center.

Mrs. Guida is survived by her sons, Daniel of San Diego, CA, and Ronald of Woodbine; her sisters, Stephanie Sikora of Stuart, FL, and Mary Fischer of Woodbine; her niece, Bobbi Sikora of Stuart, FL; and her great niece, Bobbi Jo Behun and her husband, Jason of Pittsburgh, PA.

Funeral services are private. Memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, South Jersey Office, 9 Tanner Street - East Entry, Haddonfield, NJ 08033.

Guidetti, Josephine Fornarotto

Josephine Fornarotto Guidetti, age 79 of West Long Branch died Saturday September 16, 2006 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch.

She was a teacher's aid for Shore Regional High School, and she worked in the cafeteria at Monmouth University, both West Long Branch before retiring in 1996.

Born in West Long Branch, she was a life resident.

She was a member of the West Long Branch Community Center; the Peter Cooper Village Seniors, West Long Branch; the Ladies Auxiliary of the West Long Branch Fire Department Co. # 2; and a communicant of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch.

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1993 and her parents, Joseph and Anna Fornarotto.

She is survived by her 3 sons and daughters in law, Anthony and Gerri Guidetti, New York; Joseph and Jane Guidetti, Howell; Ronald and Robin Guidetti, Long Branch; a daughter Vivian Guidetti, Neptune; a brother, Nicholas Fornarotto, Lakewood; a sister, Jennie Mount, Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren and a great grand daughter.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 19, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, on the corner of Third Ave, Long Branch. Funeral Wednesday, at 9 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am from Holy Trinity R.C. Church.

Interment will follow at Mt Carmel cemetery, West Long Branch.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations are requested to Holy Trinity Church, 408 Prospect Street, Long Branch, NJ 07740.

Guilfoy, Mildred Thomas

MILDRED THOMAS GUILFOY, age 86, passed away quietly on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at the Medford Care Center in Medford, NJ. Born in Phila., PA on June 23, 1918, she is the daughter of the late Joseph T. & Estelle Thomas. A devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, she will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be private and are under the supervision of the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd,(Rt. 541), Medford, NJ.
