Brother of Marie Costanzo of Ocean City, NJ, Kathryn Eagan of Linwood, NJ, Helen Alessandro of Ocean City, NJ, Anne McAdams of Marlton, NJ and Joseph Haas of Pennsauken, NJ. Haas, Janet Mae

Janet Mae Haas, 79, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Wednesday, December 10, 2003 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Caep May Court House. Born in Torrington, CT, she had lived here since 1994 after moving from Cherry Hill, NJ, where she was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church. She was a resident of Crest Haven Nursing Home for the last three years. She was a secretary for the Camden County Vocational Technical School System for over ten years.

She is survived by her two sons, Robert W. Haas of Lake Forrest, CA, and Wayne T. Haas of Los Angeles, CA; her two daughters, Bonnie Bowen of Ocean City, NJ, and Janet L. Berhang of Old Bridge, NJ; her sister, Donna Jankovsky of Phenix, AZ; and her nine grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2003, at 2:00 PM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. Interment is private. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1060 North Kings Highway, Suite 309, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.

Haber, Martin W.

HABER, MARTIN W., suddenly on March 23, 2008, of Del Haven, NJ. Formerly of Philadelphia, PA. Age 68. Husband of Joan (nee Szarzyaska). Beloved father of Mark and Karen Haber. Loving grandfather of Mark and Rachel Haber. Also survived by his brother James Haber. Before he retired, Martin was the owner of RAND Construction in Cape May County. Haberman, Patricia

Patricia Haberman, 67, of South Seaville and formerly of Wanaque, died on Friday, August 9, 2002 at her home. She was born in Bergen County and lived here since 1978. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed a hobby of lighthouses.

She is survived by the following children: Cheryl and Kevin McKelvey of Millville; Melanie and Robert Wiley of Steelmantown; Michele Haberman of Petersburg; Kim and Don Maher of Lexington, SC; Harry and Gail Haberman of Swainton; Dan and Cathy Haberman of Clermont; Curtis Haberman and Karen; William Haberman and Donna of Corbin City; and Patricia Wiley of North Cape May; and her twenty grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, Aug. 12, 2002, at 3:00 PM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may call at 2:00 PM. Hackman, Iva K.

IVA K. HACKMAN (Nee Godshall) of Medford Lakes, NJ, formerly of Franconia, PA passed away on Monday, July 3rd, 2006 at her home. She was 84 yrs. of age. Born in Vernfield, PA, Iva is the daughter of the late William & Sally Godshall and the wife of the late John S. Hackman. She is the Loving mother of J. Wesley Hackman of Mansfield, OH, Ronald Hackman of Harleysville, PA, Joyce Corcoran of Cleveland, GA, Arlene Hackman of Akron, PA, Jane Hobson and Marge Adison both of Medford Lakes, NJ and David Hackman of Marlton, NJ. She is also survived by her siblings, Elmer Godshall, Sadie Landis, Matilda Freed, Naomi Halteman and Ruth Ruth and also 9 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. She is the mother of the late Sally Lee. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, July 6th, from 11:00 AM - 12:00 Noon at the Franconia Mennonite Church, Rt. 113 in Franconia, PA, where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 12:00 Noon. Hadfield, John Leon

John Leon Hadfield, age 81 years of Sea Isle City, NJ died on Friday, November 28, 2008 at his home. Born in Camden, NJ to the late Joseph Hadfield and Cecelia Barrett, he has lived here for the past 23 years coming from Barrington, NJ. He retired in 1985 after 34 years as a Lab Technologist for E.I. DuPont Company in Wilmington, DE. He was an Army veteran of WW II, member of West Point Army Band, 4th degree member of Knights of Columbus, member of St. Josephs' Church where he was also Choir director and Eucharistic minister & active with the Men of Malvern. He was a Real Estate agent for Burger Realty of Ocean City, a musical director for the Sea Isle City Players, volunteer at Holy Reedemer Food Bank, tutor for the Illiteracy Program of Cape May County and was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jennie (nee Arno), his two sons; Michael (Sue) of Magnolia & Joseph (Patti) of Ocean View, his two daughters; Donna Hadfield & Mary H. Deal both of Sea Isle City, his seven grandchildren; Trevor, Nathaniel, John, Michael, Sara, Crystal & Justin and his one great grand daughter Ella. Funeral Liturgy will be said 11:00 am Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at St. Joseph's Church, 4308 Landis Av., Sea Isle City, NJ where relatives and friends may call after 9:30 am. Interment in Cape May County Veterans cemetery, Cape May Court House.

Hadfield Jr., John L

John Lindsey Hadfield, Jr. of Medford Lakes, NJ, age 61, departed this earth March 9, 2009, after a heroic 2 year battle with cancer. Predeceased by his son John III. Proud father of 2 beautiful daughters, Lindsay of Houston, TX and Halley of Cherry Hill, NJ. John also leaves behind his beloved friend and constant companion, Joni Schoenborn. His most recent employment was with Foxmoor Development Corporation as a Project Manager for a high density housing site. John continued working, despite his diagnosis, until this past August. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, canoeing, and going for long bike rides that could take him 30 miles or more from home but his particular favorite was spending time on his boat in the sunshine. He was accompanied on many of these outings by his devoted "Labradoggies", Jillian and Lillian. John graduated from Ursinus College with a degree in History and could bring a unique perspective to almost any conversation. He was an avid reader who visited the library weekly and could finish a novel in a day only to pick up the next one within minutes. Anyone who has been fortunate enough to make his acquaintance has come away the better for it. John will be sadly and forever missed by all who knew and loved him. A private memorial service will be held at Chapel in the Woods, Medford Lakes, NJ on Friday, March 13th at 1:00pm. HAEHNER, Albert R.

On July 8, 2006. Of Marlton, formerly of Camden. Age 69. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Guzik) for 49 years. Loving father of Priscilla Rouh of Laurel Springs, Patricia Beech (Brian) of Marlton and Wayne Haehner of Medford. Devoted grandfather of Joseph, Laurie, Linda, Bobby, Michelle and Brian. Dear brother of Richard Haehner of Cinnaminson and Ann Sochanchak of Cherry Hill. Also survived by his mother in law, Elizabeth Guzik and many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Richard Haehner and Sophie (Ricot) Haehner of Camden. Albert graduated from Camden County Vocational School, then worked at the NY Shipyard in Camden. He served in the Air Force and was a mailman in Camden for 23 years. He belonged to Monday and Thursday afternoon bowling leagues for Senior Citizens at Martinique Lanes in Stratford, and was a lifetime member at Bally's Fitness Center in Voorhees for 30 years. He was also a member of the Pitman Golf Club and was active in the sports world. At different times he was a caddy, a lifeguard, and a baseball umpire. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing 7-9pm Friday and 8:30-9:30am Saturday at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, Rt 73 & Evesham Rd, Marlton. Haffert, Barbara Ann

Barbara Ann Haffert (Nee Piccolo), of Sea Isle City, formerly of Wildwood Crest, died suddenly and found peace on January 10, 2009, at the age of 66. Barbara died at Cape Regional Hospital in Cape May Court House. Predeceased by her parents, Nicholas Piccolo and Mary Piccolo, and her stepson Joey. Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Joseph Haffert; her children Debra (Pizagno) Bell, (Mark), Edward Pizagno, (Patti), and step daughter, Sabrina Musser, (Robert); her grandchildren, Mark, Matthew, Kaylee, Nicholas, and step grandchildren, Ryan, Katie, Cody, and Johnny, numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews, and her dear Aunt Jen. She worked for Playboy, Atlantis, and Showboat casinos for 20 years, and was a member of Local 54. Barbara was a passionate reader of the mystery genre. She was a superlative cook and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. In lieu of flowers, and as Barbara often did, the family would like a random act of kindness towards others performed in her name.

Haffert, Michael Marc

Michael Marc Haffert, 49, of Sea Isle City, NJ, died suddenly on Saturday, November 1, 2003. He was born April 6, 1951. Mr. Haffert graduated from Wildwood Catholic High School in 1969, and later received an Associate of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Mercer County Community College, East Windsor, NJ.

He started his career with I-T-E Imperial Corporation in Philadelphia, PA, where he worked from 1974 to 1977 designing switchgear breaker control schemes. He then joined Allen-Sherman Hoff Company, Malvern, PA in 1977 where he was responsible for the electrical design of control systems for pneumantic and hydraulic transport systems of coal fly ash and bottom ash as waste from the generation of electricity. In 1980, Mr. Haffert joined FMC Corporation, Chalfont, PA. He did the control design for machinery manufactured by FMC and the startup of control/mechanical systems. This took him to Saudi Arabia and several US locations to handle the oversight of these systems. From 1986 to 1993, Haffert worked for Central Panel, Inc., Warminster, PA where he was sales manager selling control panel manufacturing and design capability for the sister company, Control Design, Inc. Haffert formed his own company in 1993, MMH Consultants, Inc., Harlesville, PA where he specialized in the design and manufacture of control systems for the pharmaceutical, utility, and water quality industries.

Mr. Haffert was an avid boatsman and golfer. He was also a volunteer driver for the Sea Isle City Ambulance Corps.

He is survived by his mother: Jean Sheldon Haffert; sister: Jan Haffert Craine of Lutherville, MD; nephew: David H. Craine; niece: Martha J. Craine; and his dear friend: Jean Chieffo. He is predeceased by his father, William Anthony Haffert, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 44th and Landis Av., Sea Isle City, NJ on Wednesday November 5, 2003 at 11:00 AM. Family and friends may call at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Sea Isle City Ambulance Corps, JFK Boulevard, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243 would be appreciated.

Haffert, H. Joseph

H. Joseph Haffert, 63, of Sea Isle City, NJ, formerly of Wildwood Crest, NJ, passed away on January 15, 2009 surrounded by his loving family.

Joe served his country as a Marine during the Vietnam War. He graduated from Wildwood Catholic High School, and attended Marquette and Temple Universities. Throughout his career in hospitality, he was employed by The Crest Tavern, Mulligans, The Wharf, The Mirage, The Woodbine Inn, The Rickshaw, The Alpine Inn and Caesars Casino. A voracious reader, he loved the beach, ocean, fishing and spending time in the company of his family. He was a dedicated curmudgeon whose dry sense of humor delighted family and friends until the end.

Predeceased by his wife of 30 years and best friend, Barbara Haffert, son, Joey Haffert, and father, Horace Haffert, he is survived by his mother, Helen Haffert; his daughters, Sabrina Musser (Robert), and Debra Bell (Mark), and his son, Edward Pizagno (Patti); and his grandchildren, Ryan, Katie, Cody, Johnny, Mark, Matthew, Kaylee, and Nicholas. He is also survived by his siblings, Mary Anninos (Peter), Nancy Bogda, George "Pat" Haffert (Terry), Mark Haffert (Susan), Greg Haffert (Mary), Aunts Mary Rakowski and Patricia Haffert, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 44th and Landis Avenue in Sea Isle City, NJ, on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. for both Joe and Barbara Haffert, who passed away on January 10, 2009. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Carmelite Monastery, 61 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Boston, MA 02119 would be appreciated or take a page out of Joe's book and help someone down on their luck.

Haffert, Jean Sheldon

Jean Sheldon Haffert, age 89 years of Sea Isle City, NJ died on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at Cape Regional Medical Center, Cape May Court House, NJ.

She was born in Kansas City, MO and was raised in Seattle, WA. She was a graduate of Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Seattle and received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington. She was also a member of the Tri Delta national sorority, Theta Alpha Chapter. While working as a correspondent for United Press in Seattle, she met and married the late William A. Haffert, Jr. of Sea Isle City. Shortly after their wedding, Mr. Haffert brought his bride back to Sea Isle where she resided for 62 years. Mrs. Haffert had been a substitute teacher for Cape May County and worked as a teacher's aide for a number of years at Woodbine Elementary School. She was involved with a number of organizations over the years which included the South Jersey chapter of the Tri Delta Sorority, American Association of University Women in Cape May County, Mercy Hospital Auxiliary, Sea Isle City Yacht Club Auxiliary, American Heart Association, Building Bridges at Sea Isle City Elementary School and Sea Isle Sand Dunes Questers.

She is survived by her daughter Jan H. and her husband David Craine, her grandchildren; David Haffert Craine and Martha Jean Craine all of Lutherville, MD, her sisters-in-law, Helen Haffert of Sea Isle City and Patricia Haffert of Washington, NJ, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband, William A. Haffert, Jr. and her son, Michael M. Haffert.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered, 11:00 AM, Friday, March 7, 2008 at St Joseph's Church, 43rd and Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City, NJ where relatives and friends may call after 9:30 AM until time of Mass. Burial will follow in Seaville Methodist cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sea Isle City Ambulance Corps.

Hahn, Harold R.

Hahn, Harold R. on September 12, 2006 of Marmora NJ and Ft. Lauderdale FL. Age 78. Beloved husband of 58 years to Emily S. Hahn (nee Velie). He is also survived by his sister in law, Grace Weaver and several loving nieces, nephews and family members. Born and raised in Gibbsboro and formerly of Mt. Laurel, Mr. Hahn was employed with Radio Condenser and TRW of Camden and then became self employed in the Maintenance Business. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Saturday from 9:30-11am at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd. Marlton where a Funeral Service will be held at 11am Saturday. Hain, Violet H.

Violet H. Hain, 92, of Avalon, died on Sunday, July 2, 2006 in Athens, Alabama. She was born in Washington, D.C., the daughter of the late Ernest Havilland and Annie Frances VanSchoonhoven Hobbs and was one of nine children. Mrs. Hain was a distinguished artist; she was chosen as one of the distinguished women all over the world to appear in The First Five Hundred, a publication that marked the celebration of the Silver Jubilee Year of the International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England. She was an art teacher in Washington, D.C. She was a member of the Cape May County Art League and had one-artist exhibits at the Cape May Art League Gallery in addition to having one in the Avalon Boro Hall. She was also a member Galerie Internationale on Madison Avenue, New York City where she held two one person art exhibits. She was included in the Dictionary of International Biography for several years; the World Who's Who of Women; and the International Register of Profiles. She was proud of her relationship with God. She was an accomplished singer and at one time was referred to as "Avalon's First Lady of Art".

She is survived by four sons: John Adams Jr. and his wife, Doris of Tennessee; William Howard and his wife, Ginni of Baltimore, MD; James Alfred of Arizona and was preceded in death by her beloved daughter in law, Carol, James' wife; Daniel C. and his wife, Judy of Cape May Court House; and five grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Adams, Sr. in 1993.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where friends may visit at 10:00 a.m. where many of her paintings will be on exhibit. Interment will follow in the Seaville Methodist cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Church Street Christian School, 1 Church Street, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210 for the purpose of Art Education.

VIRGINIA B. HAINES "Ginny", of Tabernacle, NJ, passed away on August 31, 2007 at the Cooper Medical Center in Camden, NJ. She was 83 yrs. of age. Born in Mt. Holly, NJ, she has resided in Tabernacle for the past 30 yrs. moving there from Medford, NJ. She is the Beloved wife of Milton Haines of Tabernacle, NJ and the Loving Mother of Larry Haines and his wife Donna of Tabernacle, NJ, William Haines of Tabernacle, NJ, Donna Mansdoerfer and her husband Howard of Mt. Laurel, NJ and Rene' Haines and her companion Luann Tyer of Hopewell, VA. REECE E. HAINES of Medford, NJ, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at Medford Leas in Medford, NJ. He was 89. Born in Bryn Mawr, PA he has resided in Medford since 1946 and for many years wintered in Lake Wales, FL. The son of the late Arthur & Marion Haines, Reece is the former owner of Reece Haines Insurance Co. which was located in Medford, NJ from 1946 to 1981. He is a Past President and member since 1948 of the Medford-Vincentown Rotary Club, a member and Past Noble Grand of the Medford Odd Fellows Lodge #100, a Past President of the Mutual Insurance Agents of NJ, a founding member of the Medford Business Association and a graduate of Rutgers University, Cooke College in 1941. He is the Beloved husband of Mary S. (Nee Scudder) Haines of Medford and the Loving Father of Richard R. Haines of Tabernacle, NJ, Alan W. Haines of Wells, ME, Nancy H. Lineker of Fairfax, VA and Linda Scudder Haines of N. Field, NH. He is also survived by his Grandchildren Jeffrey S., Bruce E. and Sharon E. Lineker and Dylan McGuffin. He is the father of the late Arthur D. Haines. Pauline B. Haines, age 79, born and raised in Avalon, NJ, died on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at the Eastern Shore Nursing Home, Cape May Court House, NJ. Pauline attended First Methodist Church of Avalon, the VFW of Cape May, and enjoyed playing shuffleboard at the Sea Isle City VFW. She was predeceased by her husband Charles in August, 1995.

She is survived by her two sons: Chick (Barbara) of Cape May Court House, NJ, and George (Stephanie) of North Cape May, NJ; her two daughters: Evelyn (James) Scott of North Cape May, NJ, and Victoria (Tony) Briton of New York City, NY; her two brothers: Charles Risley of Rio Grande, NJ, and James Risley of Maryland; her sister: Mildred Hoffman of Cape May Court House, NJ; five grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM on Monday, November 26, 2007, at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Ave., Cape May Court House, NJ, where relatives and friends may call 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. HAINES, John B. III 'Jack', suddenly on November 16, 2006. Age 20. Beloved son of John B., Jr. and Ramona Haines. Loving brother of Nina and Sarah Haines. Also survived by his dear grandmother, Raija Hall and several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jack was a graduate of Cherokee High School Class of 2004 and an avid hockey and baseball player. His hockey team played in Florida and won the 2002 National Championship. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Monday from 8:45-9:45am at The Catholic Church of St.Isaac Jogues, Evesboro Medford and Elmwood Rd., Marlton where Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10am. Burial Sacred Heart cemetery, Mt.Holly. If desired, donations may be made in Jack's memory to St. Isaac Jogues Church 3 Lord Place Marlton NJ 08053.

Haines Jr., Clifford D.

CLIFFORD D. HAINES JR., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at the Mainland Manor in Pleasantville, NJ. He was 79 years of age. Born in Atlantic City, NJ, the son of the late Clifford D. and Anna M. Haines, he resided in the Brush Hollow section of Marlton, NJ for many years before moving to Ventnor in 2003. A Civil Engineer with the State of New Jersey he retired after over 40 years with the State. He is a long time member of the Marlton United Methodist Church and a Veteran of the Korean War serving with the US Navy. Cliff is the husband of the late Gene (Nee Darlington) Haines and the Loving Father of Clifford D. Haines III and his wife Janine of Ventnor, NJ and Elizabeth Ann (Betsy) Haines. He is also survived by his Sister Eleanor Cowan of Reno, NV and his Granddaughter Gabrielle Haines. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Sunday from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd., Medford, NJ, (609-953-7600), where a Funeral Service will be held on Sunday at 5:00 PM. Interment will be Monday in the BG Wm. Doyle Veterans Cem. in Arneytown, NJ. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family requests memorial donations to the Alzheimers Assoc., 3 Eves Dr., Suite 310, Marlton, NJ 08053.

Hains, Raymond John

Raymond John Hains, 97, of Cape May Court House, NJ, formerly of Willingboro, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2009. He was born at home in New Rochelle, NY on December 2, 1911 and was married for 49 years to the late Maureen (nee Watson) Hains. He was a member of Corpus Christi Church in Willingboro and Our Lady of the Angels Church in Cape May Court House.

Mr. Hains graduated from Pace Institute in Manhattan with a degree in accounting. He retired from Wall Rope Works where he had worked in both Manhattan and in Beverly, NJ for more than 40 years. His faith came first. He attended daily mass for more than 50 years and taught CCD classes for Corpus Christi Church for more than 20 years. He was on the board of directors of his local AARP group.

Mr. Hains is survived by his daughters, Maryellen Hains of Kalamazoo, MI, and Deborah Amedick (Paul) of Cape May Court House, NJ. Graveside services at the Odd Fellows cemetery of Burlington will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Corpus Christi Church, Sunset & Charleston Roads, Willingboro, NJ 08046.
