Linda B. Hubert, 54, of Cape May Court House, died on Saturday, December 7, 2002 at Oceana Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and lived in Yeadon, PA before moving to Wildwood in 1978. She lived in Sandman Towers for 11 years. She was a member of St. Ann's Church. She was a bartender at Ship & Shore.

She is survived by her son, Michael Hubert and his wife, Deborah of North Cape May; her granddaughter, Jennifer; her sister, Marlene Buza of Canada; her nephew, Shawn; and great niece, Sakura.

Memorial Liturgy will be said on Saturday, December 28, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, Wildwood, where relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery, Cold Spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 626 N. Shore Rd., Absecon, NJ 08201.

Huberty, John L.

On July 6, 2005 JOHN L. HUBERTY, of Marlton was guided home to eternal life by the angels, while surrounded by his loving family. Devoted husband of 48 years to the late Dorothy. Beloved father of Donna Marie Herb of Haddonfield, Debra Huberty of Mt. Laurel and Maureen Cook (Joseph) of Marlton. Devoted grandfather "Pop" of James Robey (Amy), Scott Herb (Amy), Brian Herb, Matthew Cook and Lindsey Cook and also great grandfather of Brittany & Marissa Herb. John was born and raised in West Collingswood. Prior to retirement, he was a valued employee of 20 years at Safety Bus Tours in Pennsauken. He was a United States Marine Veteran and a member of the Barrington Fire and Ambulance Company in the late 1950's. John loved to travel and enjoyed spending summers with his family in LBI. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday from 7-9 M at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Beloved wife of the late William W. Devoted mother of the late William K and his wife Paula. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Born in Camden, NJ, Mrs. Hubner was a resident of Kramer Hill for many years before moving to Westmont 12 years ago. Prior to retirement, she was employed at Whitman Candies in Camden, NJ.

Suddenly on 9/19/2002, of Bellmawr, Nj formerly of Pennsauken, NJ; age 75 years.

Beloved wife of the late, Charles E.; Dear niece of Frederick Kevis and his wife, Ann; Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Prior to retirement, Mrs. Huckel was employed at PNC Bank for many years.

Hudak, Charles A.

CHARLES A. HUDAK, of Voorhees, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 30, 2006. He was 62 yrs. of age. Born in Lorrain, OH, he was formerly of Cary, NC and Westlake, OH before moving here 7 months ago. He is the son of the late Charles & Rosemary Hudak. Charles was a graduate of Ashland H.S. in Ohio and went on to graduate from Ashland College. He was a retired Bank Manager serving the banking industry for over 32 yrs. He is the beloved father of Lance C. Hudak of Voorhees, NJ, Tamara D. Hudak of Berlin, NJ, Nicholas Hudak of Akron, OH, Matthew Hudak of Chicago, IL, and Angela Fitzgerald of Pittsburgh, PA. He is also survived by his brother David Hudak of Bloomington, IN and his Grandchildren Julie & Jason Hudak and John Fitzgerald. Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of his life on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd. Medford, NJ. Hudanich, Nicholas

Nicholas Hudanich, 96, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. One of thirteen children born to the late John and Anna (Paliczak) Hudanich, he enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and reading.

Mr. Hudanich is survived by his son, James (Nancy) Hudanich of Avalon; his grandchildren, Cara Tozour and Ron Hudanich; six great grandchildren; and his brother, Michael Hudanich. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Marie Hudanich in 1984.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Love of Linda Cancer Fund, P.O. Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ 08260.

Hudnut, Jay V.

HUDNUT, Jay V. on November 17, 2007, of Marlton, formerly of Trenton and Verona NJ. Age 58. Beloved husband of Zitaeileen Hudnut (nee Smith). Loving father of Jason T. and his wife, Deborah, James R. and his wife, Kristen, and Jacob V. Hudnut. Devoted pappy of Cole Patrick, Cailey Ellen, Cierra Jaynemarie, and Jack Dennis. Dear brother of the late Gail Hudnut Steinert. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Hudnut was a 1973 graduate of Montclair State Univ. earning his Bachelor's degree in Speech and Theater Arts. He was the president of Phi Sigma Epsilon Fraternity. For over 20 years, Mr. Hudnut was employed with Viacom Entertainment where he was able to share his love of film. He has been an active volunteer for the MS Association for the past 5 years. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday from 7-9pm and Saturday from 9-10am at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 and Evesham Rd. Marlton where a Funeral Service will be held at 10am Saturday. Interment Greenwood cemetery, Trenton NJ. Hudson, Elizabeth "Betty" J.

HUDSON, Elizabeth "Betty" Jane (nee Slabey) On January 1, 2009. Of Cherry Hill, NJ. Age 79. Beloved wife of 56 years to Lee H. Hudson Sr.. Loving mother of Lee Jr. and his wife Alice Irene, Daniel and his wife Anita, Don and his wife Colleen. Devoted grandmother of Elizabeth, Lee III, Christine, Joseph, Emily, Christopher, Thomas and Andrew. Betty was an active member of Trinity Presbyterian Church for 40 years. She served as a Deacon and weekly volunteer of the church's Care and Share Shop. Betty & Lee traveled the world together, but kept the strong nurturing connection to their three boys and their families. She was an avid bridge player with a group of cherished friends. When you are a friend of Betty's, you are a friend forever. Dedicated housewife, loved to prepare elaborate dining experiences and worked alongside husband in business (HQ). Betty was special to so many. She was admired for her kindness and gentle nature. She always made you feel like you were her very favorite. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday January 5th from 7-9 PM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt.73 and Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Huff, Robert B.

Huff, Robert B., 86, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2007 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Camden to the late George and Helen (Brayman) Huff, he was a lifetime resident of this area. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and was employed by New Jersey Bell. He was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Wildwood. He was formerly active in Middle Township Committee and served as Mayor in 1961. A lifetime member of the Rio Grande Fire Company, he also coached Little League baseball.

Mr. Huff is survived by his daughters, Linda Crouch and her husband, Bill of Texas, and Barbara Springer and her husband, Dan of Goshen; his son, Robert D. Huff and his wife, Sarah of Brigantine; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth E. Huff on May 9, 2002.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2810 Atlantic Avenue, Wildwood, NJ 08260.

Huff, Ruth E.

Ruth E. Huff, 74, of North Cape May, died on Thursday, May 9, 2002 at Victoria Manor Nursing Home, North Cape May. She was born in North Wildwood and was a lifetime resident of this area. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Huff is survived by her husband, Robert B. Huff of North Cape May; her son, Robert D. Huff of Brigantine; her daughters, Barbara Springer of Goshen, and Linda Crouch of North Cape May; her sisters, Cecelia Crawford of North Cape May, Ethel Paul of Vero Beach, FL, and Doris Menz of Cape May Court House; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2810 Atlantic Avenue, Wildwood, NJ 08260, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery, Cape May Court House. Donations may be made in her memory to the church.

Hughart, Doris R.

Doris R. Hughart, 82, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. Born in Reilly Township, PA to the late William and the late Margaret (Daniels) Gibson, she had lived here since April after living in Pipersville, PA for 23 years. She was a very active member of the Doylestown United Methodist Church. A loving mother, Doris was a family person who loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Hughart is survived by her husband, Earl; her daughters, Kathleen Nerz and her husband, Joseph of Pipersville, PA, and Janet Iannucci and her husband, David of Cape May Court House, NJ; her granddaughters, Rachel, Alison, and Lauren; her great grandson, Connor; her brothers and sisters, Robert, Matilda, Cathryn, Bette, Jack, Richard, and Marj; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, December 8, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Doylestown United Methodist Church, 320 East Swamp Road, Doylestown, PA 18901. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 617A Main Street, Hellertown, PA 18055 or 3 Eves Drive, Suite 310, Marlton, NJ 08053.

Hughart, Owen "Earl"

Owen "Earl" Hughart, 88, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2009 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. He moved here three years ago from Pipersville, PA. He was an active member of the Doylestown United Methodist Church. He was a dedicated Dad that enjoyed fishing, his family, old movies, riding his tractor, and birdwatching. He was Navy veteran of World War II and his ship, the USS Phoenix, was in Pearl Harbor the day of the attack.

Earl was a truck driver for the Teamsters for 35 years and worked at Food Fair and then Pantry Pride. After his retirement, he worked for Doylestown Township and Point Pleasant Fire Company in maintenance.

Earl is survived by his daughters, Kathleen Nerz of Pipersville, PA, and Janet Iannucci of Cape May Court House; his brother Archie Hughart; his half-sisters, Mildred Yahya, Mary Ann Casto, and Dorothy Nieter; his three grandchildren, Rachel, Alison, and Lauren; two great grandchildren, Connor Vincent and Melanie Rose; and one great grandson soon to be born to be named after him. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Doris on November 28, 2006.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, February 24 at 10:00 a.m. at the Doylestown United Methodist Church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Doylestown United Methodist Church, 320 East Swamp Road, Doylestown, PA 18901.

Hughes, Carlos

Hughes, Carlos, age 82 of Williamstown, NJ died Monday April 15, 2002 at his home.

He was born in San Diego, TX and a resident of Williamstown for 51 years. He served in the United States Army during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion Raymond Cline Post 252 and Union Local #172.

Beloved husband of Ida (nee Scarlett) of 59 years. Devoted father of Carlos R. and his wife Theresa of New Bern, NC and Robert J. of Cedarbrook, NJ. Dear brother of Alfred of Alice, TX and Victoria Garcia of Corpus Christi, TX. Loving grandfather of 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown, where a viewing will be held one hour prior.

Hughes, Frances K.

Hughes, Frances K., 82, a former resident of Del Haven, NJ, died on Wednesday, July 12, 2006, at the Pocopson Home in West Chester, PA, where she was a current resident and received excellent attention from their staff. She resided in Del Haven for 42 years, and lived in Kennett Square, PA before moving to the Pocopson Home three years ago. She was born in Willow Grove, PA, the daughter of the late Roy and Emma McCartney Rhoades. She worked as a telephone operator during her years of employment. She was a trip organizer for the "Friendly Group" in Cape May County, where many people enjoyed a wonderful trip with her. She was also a member of the Second Baptist Church of Marmora, NJ, with whom she shared camaradire and peace, and a member of the Knights of Columbus Stella Maris Council of Erma, NJ. Her main interests in life were her family and friends.

She is survived by four children: Sandra Hickey and husband, Robert, Roy F. and wife, Rosemary, Kevin P., Sr., and wife Linda, all of Kennett Square, PA, and Barbara of Baltimore, MD; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, Sr. and a son, Donald, Jr.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at 11:30 AM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may visit at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in the Cold Spring Presbyterian cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Second Baptist Church of Marmora, Marmora, NJ 08223, or a charity of one's choice.

Hughes, Alvin

HUGHES, ALVIN J. "Chip" of Marlton, NJ passed away on August 18, 2003 at Cooper Hospital, Camden, NJ after a long battle with diabetes and heart disease. He was 67 yrs of age. Born in Phila., PA, he has resided in Marlton, NJ for the past 35 yrs. He was a graduate of South East Catholic High School Class of '53. He attended St. Joseph's University and then joined the ARMY where he served as a Clerk while stationed in Hawaii. He provided for his family while working as a hardware salesman for many yrs and enjoyed slot machines in Atlantic City, sports,trivia, music and crossword puzzles. He is the beloved husband of Geraldine "Gerry" (nee Sawczyk) of Marlton. He has left behind his loving children and their spouses: Christopher and Shellie Hughes of Mt. Laurel, Michelle and Paul Wright and Mark Hughes of Marlton, as well as his grandchildren, Danielle and Matthew Trommelen and Ryan Hughes. He is also survived by siblings Michael Hughes of Phila, PA and Eileen Campbell of Moorestown, NJ as well as many other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Thursday from 9:00-11:00 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Chip's name to: American Diabetes Association, 1060 N. On June 23, 2004 of Mt Laurel, NJ, formerly of Riverdale, NY. Age 81. Beloved wife of the late William J. "Chick" Hughes. Loving mother of Mary Jane Gedgard (William Raymond) of Cherry Hill, Robert Hughes (Anne-Marie) of New City, NY and Barbara Ann Walker (Stephen) of Turnersville. Devoted grandmother of Jaylene Adamczyk, Colin Gedgard, Jacqueline Marie Hughes, Robert William Hughes and Meghan Ann Walker. Great grandmother of Ava Grace Adamczyk. Hughes, Marion F.

Marion F. Hughes, 94, of South Dennis, NJ, died on Tuesday, January 20, 2003, at the home of her daughter, Martha Camp. She was born in Ocean City, NJ on March 8, 1908, and lived in Cape May County most of her life.

She was a retired cottage attendant at the Woodbine Developmental Center after 34 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Cape May Court House, NJ and the V.F.W. Auxiliary of Belleplain, NJ. She assisted in placing flowers on graves for holidays including cutting grass and taking flowers to many shut-in persons.

She is survived by her daughters: Lillian M. Hickman and Martha L. Camp of Millville, NJ, Doris E. Rose of Rio Grande, NJ, and Marion A. Hughes of Tampa, FL; several brothers and sisters; several grandchildren; great and great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2003, at 1:00 PM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210, where friends may call at 12:00 PM. Interment will be in Union cemetery, South Dennis, NJ.

Hughes of New Brunswick NJ, a step sister Catherine Steinbrecher of Perkasie PA and 4 grandchildren, Jimmy IV, Julia, Joe and Jack.
