MR. JENSEN WORKED IN MARKETING FOR SUN OIL, IN PHILADELPHIA, PA FOR 33 YEARS BEFORE HIS RETIRMENT IN 1983.

HE WAS A MEMBER OF CHESTER LODGE # 236 F. & A.M., AND HE WAS A KENTUCKY COLONEL. MR. JENSENWAS A MEMBER OF MARGATE COMMUNITY CHURCH WHERE HE SERVED AS A TRUSTEE AND WAS A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DEACONS.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, VIRGINIA A. JENSEN, OF OCEAN CITY, NJ, A SON, CARL J. JENSEN III AND HIS WIFE BRENDA, OF WARRENTON, VA, A SISTER, DOROTHY CURL, OF OCEAN CITY, NJ, TWO GRANDAUGHTERS, GENEVIEVE JENSEN, AND ELYSE JENSEN, BOTH OF WARRENTON, VA. HE WAS PREDECEASED BY HIS DAUGHTER, CATHY JO JENSEN.

A SERVICE OF MEMORY AND LOVE WILL BE OFFERED SATURDAY AFTERNOON AT THREE O'CLOCK FROM MARGATE COMMUNITY CHURCH, 8900 VENTNOR AVENU, MARGATE, NJ. BURIAL WILL BE PRIVATE AND AT THE CONVENICE OF THE FAMILY.

Jensen, Jr., Thomas

Thomas Jensen, Jr., 82, of Avalon, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2004 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. Born in Norway to the late Thomas and Maria (Osmundsen) Jensen, Sr., he moved here in 1961 from Audubon, NJ. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the VFW Post 1963, Sea Isle City and the American Legion of Stone Harbor. He retired from the Borough of Avalon. He was also a volunteer fireman for Avalon.

Mr. Jensen is survived by his brothers, Robert and William; and his sister in law, Susan.

A viewing will be held on Friday, April 23, 2004 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House. Graveside services will be private at the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VFW Post 1963, 301 41st Street, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243.

Jewell, Ronald B.

JEWELL, Ronald B., suddenly on December 11, 2003, of Perrineville NJ, born and raised in Lawrence MA and North Andover MA. Age 62. Beloved husband of 30 years of Linda S. Jewell (nee DiPaolo). Loving son of Henry Jewell of North Andover MA and the late Janet Jewell. He is survived by his mother in law Diane DiPaolo, his sister in law and brother in law, Sandra & Bob Ellis, 2 nieces, 3 nephews and many loyal friends and relatives. For 10 years, Ronald was co-owner and operator of Merit Confectionary Distributors, Howell NJ and he had remained in the candy & tobacco business. He served in the US Air Force, Airman 2nd Class/Asst. Crew Chief. He was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins and Red Sox. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Monday from 7-9pm and Tuesday from 10-11am at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd. Jobes, John E.

JOBES, suddenly on January 13, 2004 John E. of Medford NJ, formerly of Mt. Laurel, born and raised in Camden. Age 61. Beloved husband of Julie T. Jobes (nee Formanek). Loving father of Danielle R. Jobes of Columbus OH and John D. Jobes of Medford. Dear brother of Jeanne Martin of Woodbury. An avid golfer, Mr. Jobes was employed with RCA/GE in Moorestown for 27 years and more recently with the law firm of Katz, Ettin and Levine of Cherry Hill. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday from 8:15-10:15am at the Bradley Funeral Home, Marlton. Jobes, Margaret E.

JOBES, on July 11, 2002, Margaret E. (nee Miller) of Marlton formerly of Maple Shade NJ. Age 94. Beloved wife of the late Clifford Jobes. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Craft of Marlton and 2 granddaughters, Jennifer and her husband, Louis Branca and Alisa and her husband, Ralph Baron. Also survived by 6 great grandchildren, Kyle, Britney, Amanda, Christina, Kelsey and Christopher and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Jobes and her husband owned and operated Jobes Market, Maple Shade for 42 years and Center Run Dairy Farm, Mt. Laurel. She was a member of the Marlton Senior Citizens Club. Johantgen, Audrey I.

AUDREY I. JOHANTGEN, 83, of LONG BRANCH, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, at home. She was a communicant of Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch, and a member of the church choir. Mrs. Johantgen was a member of the Hobart Manor Tenant Association. Born in New York, she had lived there before moving to Long Branch in 1958.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Johantgen, in 1988; a daughter, Roberta Le'Noir, in May of this year, and three grandchildren. Surviving are four sons and two daughters in law, Robert J. Jr. of Miami, Harry L. and Catherine of Texas, George W. of Long Branch, and Bruce C.and Diane of Long Branch; three daughters and three sons in law, Linda and Norman George of Eatontown, Betty and Steve Sanders of Florida, and Mary and Donald Kuhlman of Oakhurst; a sister, Elizabeth Bush of Englishtown; 21 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday from the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, Long Branch. The funeral will be offered at 9 a.m. Monday, from the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Interment will follow at Woodbine cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made to Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, 101 Chelsea Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740.

JOHNSEN, Frances J. (nee Lawnicki)

On Tuesday, December 21, 2004. Formerly of Fairview, Camden.

Age 87. Beloved wife of Norman G. Johnsen. Loving mother of Robert and Donna Johnsen, of East Stroudsburg, PA. Devoted grandmother of Robin Johnsen, Zack Friedrich, Griffin Johnsen and Robert Bell. Mrs. Johnsen was a graduate of Camden High School class of 1936 and Cooper Hospital Nursing Program in 1939. She was a RN at Graduate Hospital and Cooper Hospital. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing Wednesday from 6-8pm at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt.73 and Evesham Rd. Marlton, NJ, where a funeral service will be held at 8pm. Interment B.G. Wm. C. JOHNSEN, Walter I.

On September 9, 2006. Of Voorhees, formerly of Camden. Age 93. Beloved husband Laura A. (nee Quigley) for 70 years. Loving father of Walter N. Johnsen (Shirley) of Tucson, AZ, Edwin C. Johnsen (Kathleen) of Marlton and the late Joyce Laura Johnsen. Devoted grandfather of Terri Johnsen, Walter Donald Johnsen, Lori Sterns and Nina Johnsen and great grandfather of Alysha and Ashley Norigenna, Donald and Daniel Johnsen and Sara and Charles Sterns. Dear brother of Norman Johnsen of Cherry Hill and uncle of Loretta Waters (Jim) and MaryAnn Kent. Mr. Johnsen had worked at the NY Shipyard in Camden, then worked as a carpenter for 18 years for the Cherry Hill School District, retiring in 1976. He had formerly been a Little League manager in Camden and a Boy Scout and Explorer leader in Kresson. He has been a member of Kresson Bible Church for over 50 years and served on the Church Council for 35 years. He was also a member of Local 1360 Retirees Club. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing 9-11am Thursday at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, RT 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton. Funeral Service 11am Thursday at the Funeral Home. Johnson, Vera Emma

Vera Emma Johnson, 93, of Wildwood Crest, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Louis and Arcangela (Perri) Fazio, she moved to the Wildwoods in 1949 from Philadelphia. She was a member of Church of the Assumption.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her daughter, Sandra Haner and her husband, Raymond; her son, Ralph G. Johnson and his wife, Lucille; her grandchildren, Kathleen Loeffler, Bettyann Walsh, Louis Haner (Kristine), Michael Johnson (Kelly) and Ralph Johnson (Charlene); and her great grandchildren, Martin Walsh, Christopher Loeffler, Alysse Haner, and Erika, Nicklas, and Victoria Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Johnson on December 26, 1969, and her grandson, Raymond S. Haner, Jr. on March 16, 1993.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Cold Spring Presbyterian cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 216 Haddon Avenue Suite 328, Westmont, NJ 08108.

Johnson, Martha

Martha Johnson, 90, of Cape May Court House, passed away peacefully in Crest Haven Nursing Home on Monday, April 14, 2008.

Martha was born in Whiteville, North Carolina, June 8, 1917 to the late George Walter Davis and Cottie Lee (Moore) Davis. She lived in Summit, New Jersey until moving to Cape May Court House and went to Middle Township Public Schools.

She met and married Arnold Johnson and stayed in the area until she moved to Philadelphia, where she worked in a clothing factory making men's suits until she retired. She and her sister moved back to Cape May Court House in 2001.

She was a member of Cathedral of Praise Church in Philadelphia, and joined First Baptist Church in Whitesboro when she moved here. She was a Missionary and belonged to the Pastor's Aide Ministry.

She loved traveling and traveled extensively with her sister and daughter.

She was predeceased by her husband, Arnold; a son, Walter; and a sister, Vivian Lucille Whitsett. She is survived by three children, Celestine George of Cape May Court House, Arnold Johnson and his wife, Grace of Sicklerville, and Edward Johnson of Philadelphia, PA; one sister, Etta Washington of Cape May Court House; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 12:00 noon at First Baptist Church in Whitesboro. Friends may call between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. There will be no final viewing.

Interment will be at the Household of Ruth cemetery in Whitesboro immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to First Baptist Church, 8 West Main Street, Whitesboro, NJ 08252.

JOHNSON, Donald Raymond

On February 17, 2010, at his home in Marlton, surrounded by his loving family. Age 77. Loving father of Maria P. Johnson and Tierra-Mia Thomas. Devoted grandfather of Mariah and Naimah and great grandfather of Dylan. Dear brother of Dorris M. Willis, John (JC) Johnson and Curtis B. Johnson. Former husband of Geraldine Johnson and Phyllisina Lara. Mr. Johnson served in the US Air Force, and retired from the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard. He was also a Council Member of the Powhatan Renape Nation. The viewing will be 5-7pm Sunday at Harris Temple AME Zion Church, 926 Florence St., Camden, followed by the Funeral Service at 7pm. Interment Harleigh cemetery, Camden 11am Monday. Funeral directed by Bradley Funeral Home, Marlton.

Johnson, Sophia E.

Sophia E. Johnson, (nee Dorsam), 103, of Sea Isle City, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2009. She was born in Philadelphia and was a summer resident of Sea Isle City since 1940 before moving there permanently in 1988. She resided with her daughter in Cape May Court House during the last four years.

Sophia is predeceased by her loving husband, John E. Johnson and son, John, Jr. She is survived by daughter, Ruth Weber and husband Charles; son, Robert Johnson and his wife, Joan; nine grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.

Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph's Church, 4308 Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, January 15, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Resurrection cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA.

JOHNSON, Mary T.

(nee Britt) of Southampton, NJ. Age 88. Beloved wife of William J. Johnson, Sr. for 68 years. Loving mother of William J. Johnson, Jr. (Sandy) of Pompano Beach, FL and Barbara McPeak (Bill) of Marlton. Devoted grandmother of Brett McPeak (Whitney) and great grandmother of Liam McPeak. Dear sister of Ruth Clark, Patricia Michalski, Philip Britt, Richard Britt and James Britt. Viewing 9:45-10:30am Monday, June 16 at St Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willow Bend Rd., Marlton, NJ. Johnson, Joyce Faye

Joyce Faye Johnson 62, of Long Branch died Thursday November 30, 2006 at St. Barnabas Hospice at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was a maintenance supervisor for Chenega Technology Service Corp., Ft. Monmouth for the past 13 years and a member of Trinity AME Church, Long Branch. Born and raised in Crisfield, MD she has lived in Long Branch since 1974.

She was predeceased by her parents, Philip and Addie Sterling, her husband, Emerson Johnson, Sr. and her brother, Philip Sterling.

Surviving are five sons, Emerson, Jr., Elton, Daryl, Eric and Anthony, a daughter, Tara Anderson, a special niece, Monique James Whitfield, a sister, Elizabeth James, a brother Mckinley Sterling, 21 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Visitation under the direction of the Damiano Funeral Home will take place on Saturday December 9, at the Trinity AME Church, Liberty Street, Long Branch from 9 to 11 am. A service celebrating her life will begin at 11 am. Interment will follow at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls.

Johnson, Darnell J.

Darnell J. Johnson, infant son of Shamera Forehand and Darnell Johnson of Eatontown died August 14, 2006 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Michelle Forehand. Surviving are his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Bowles and grandfather, Cornell Catley, Jr.; great grandparents Cornell and Maetro Catley; and great grandmother, Julia Wheeler; his maternal grandfather, Joshua Maris; great grandmother, Carol Forehand; and great great grandmother Helen Forehand.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, 4:00 pm at Salem Baptist Church, Long Branch. Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch is in charge of arrangements. L

Johnson, Patricia (nee Yurkow) on September 29, 2006 of Sewell, NJ. Age 57. Beloved wife of Scott. Devoted mother of Shawn. Johnson, Florence "Floss"

Florence "Floss" Johnson, 91, of Wildwood Crest, NJ, died on Sunday at Victoria Manor Nursing Center, North Cape May, NJ. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, and lived in the Wildwoods for over eighty years. She attended the Church of the Assumption, and was an avid bowler having bowled to the age of 86 years.

She is survived by a son: Jack and his wife, Shirley, of Naples, FL; two daughters: Mary Ann and her husband, Don Twist, of Wildwood Crest, and Linda and her husband, Edward Selglias, of Malvern, PA; a daugher-in-law: Jane Johnson of Wildwood Crest; fifteen grandchildren, and thirty one great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gustav in 1994 and a son: Edward.

Funeral Liturgy will be said on Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption, Wildwood Crest, where friends may call at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery, Cold Spring, NJ

Miller, Jr. of Cherry Hill & Jane M. Fox of Moorestown. Mrs Johnson formerly was employed by Countryway Bridal Salon of Maple Shade and was an active member of the St. Andrew's United Methodist Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Thursday 10:30 AM - 12:00 NOON at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd.
