Lobikis, Walter George

Walter George Lobikis, 80, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Mauston, WI, he moved here in 1951. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and American Legion. He loved entertaining his grandchildren and fishing.

Mr. Lobikis is survived by his wife, Eva R. (Taylor) Lobikis; his daughter, Laurie Lobikis of Cape May Court House; and his five grandchildren, Luke, Jesse, Dustin, Martin, and Joseph. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Walczyk.

Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation, Inc., PO Box 310, Churchton, MD 20733.

LoBuono, Beatrice E.

BEATRICE E. LO BUONO, 71, of WEST LONG BRANCH, died Saturday at the Center for Hospice Care at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Little Silver before moving to West Long Branch.

Surviving are a son, Russell LoBuono of Saddle River; a daughter, Ellen LoBuono of West Long Branch; a brother; three sisters; and two grandchildren, David and Meredith.

A memorial Mass will be offered 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to The Center for Hospice Care, Monmouth Medical Center, 300 Second Ave., Long Branch, NJ 07740. LOCANTE, Gaetano "Gus"

Suddenly on January 28, 2009. Of Marlton, age 66. Beloved husband of Kathleen "Neen" (nee Lannon). Loving father of Michelle Toner (Shawn), Jennifer Frigiola (Joe) and Lauren Locante (fiancé George Nikolakakos). Devoted pop-pop of Alexa, Cameron, Josh, Dominic, Ava, Anthony and Julianna. Dear son of Antillio and Perina Locante; and brother of Gabriel and Anthony Locante. Gus' greatest love was his family and spending time with his grandchildren. His other passions included golf, Philadelphia sports teams and his big screen TV. He also owned Commerce Leasing in Marlton. Lockwood, Melville

Melville Lockwood, 90, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2007 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Waldwick, one of eight children to the late Harry C. and Anna L. (Starrett) Lockwood, he moved here 46 years ago from Wayne, NJ. An Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cape May Court House. He was a 4-H agent for the Cape May County Rutgers Cooperative Extension. He was a member of the Shade Tree Commission and was past president of the Middle Township Board of Education and of the Kiwanis Club. His hobby was gardening and later in life, he took up golf. He enjoyed sports, especially football and baseball.

Mr. Lockwood is survived by his wife of 58 years, Edith C. (nee Blauvelt); his children, Cliff Lockwood and his wife, Sandra of Dennisville, and Ginny Lockwood and her husband, Ted Leon Guerrero of Garnet Valley, PA; his sister, Ann Pope of Ramsey; his four grandchildren, Chris Lockwood, Vicky Smith, Marcus Leon Guerrero, and Tony Leon Guerrero; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Harriet Pfitzner, Alfred Lockwood, Winnie Russell, Art Lockwood, Harry Lockwood, and Dot Howe.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Private interment will be in Cape May County Veterans cemetery, Cape May Court House. Loder Sr., Donald L.

LODER, on March 20, 2003, Donald L. Sr. of Mt. Laurel NJ. Age 67. Beloved husband of Mary A. Loder (nee Denneny). Loving father of Donald L. Loder Jr. of Shamong, Robin Nastasi and Karin Davis, both of Marlton. He is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Nevitt and 8 grandchildren, Katie, Kelly, Stephen, Nicholas, Alyssa, Mackenzie, Jessica and Heather. Also survived by many loving family members and friends. A retired Senior Vice President, Donald worked for Merrill Lynch for over 25 years. He was a Girard College Alumni & Housemaster. Donald was active in the National Kidney Foundation and was a Board Member for Holy Family University, Frankford Hospital & YMCA. Loefflad, Jr., Paul A.

Paul A. Loefflad, Jr., 79, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia to the late Paul A. and Dorothy Loefflad, Sr., he moved to Cape May Court House 48 years ago. He was employed by NJ Bell Telephone. He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church. He collected LGB trains and enjoyed crossword puzzles, travel, woodworking, and riding his bike.

Mr. Loefflad is survived by his wife, Beatrice; his sons, Paul A. Loefflad, III (Janet), Michael Joseph Loefflad (Lianne), and Frederick Victor Loefflad (Michelle); his sister, Dorothy Arata; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, February 20, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private. (nee Bovard) of Medford. Formerly of Cherry Hill and Philadelphia. Age 88. Beloved wife of the late William N. Devoted mother of Rosemarie and her husband Ronald Lyczak of Medford. Loving grandmother of Maureen Smith, Andrea Rosally and Mark and Brian Lyczak and great grandmother of 6. Dear sister of Elanor Brown and Dolores Rettinger both of Philadelphia and Sister Rosalie Bovard S.H.C.J. of Rosemont. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Loeffler was employed at the Univ. of Pennsylvania Hospital. On January 31, 2003, of Marlton. Age 85. Beloved husband of the late Muriel (nee Vaughn) Loving father of Carol O'Donnell and her husband Richard of Cherry Hill, Gary Loeffler and his wife Denise of Southampton and Sandra Loeffler of Marlton. Devoted grandfather of Kimberly Yoos, Eric Loeffler and Wesley Allen, great grandfather of Jamie Yoos, and brother of Lillian Hickey of Wildwood. Mr. Loeffler was a horse trainer for racetracks in the tri-state area for over 65 years, and was a member of the Horseman's Association of New Jersey. LOFTUS, BRIDGET R. (nee Hartneady), on August 2, 2009 of Marlton, NJ. Formerly of Moorestown. Age 92. Wife of the late Raymond J. Loftus. Loving mother of Raymond P. Loftus (Judi) and Beth Reilly (Richard). Beloved grandmother of Kevin, Colleen, Brian, James, and Daniel, and great grandmother of James, Hannah, Shane, Emma, Alexis and Gabrielle. Bridget was an active member of The Catholic Daughters in Philadelphia and a volunteer at Immaculate Mary Home. A Mass of Celebration will be 10:30 AM Friday August 14, 2009 at St. Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willow Bend Rd., Marlton, NJ 08053. Interment will be private at a later date. Loftus, John Edward

LOFTUS, John Edward of Voorhees, NJ, died on June 2, 2003. Age 81. Son of the late Patrick Loftus and the late Mary Fanning Loftus of Philadelphia, PA. He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria, a daughter, Eleanor Ziegler of Dillsburg, PA, a son, Frank Loftus of Voorhees, NJ, and a brother Bernard Loftus of Fairfax, VA. He is also survived by many loving family members and friends. He is the father of the late Patricia Loftus and the late John A. Loftus. John was a graduate of Roman Catholic High School and a US ARMY veteran of World War II in which he was the recipient of the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. Immediately following World War II, he was an officer of the CID for 7 years in Salzburg, Austria. In 1968, he founded Loftus Adjustment Service in Philadelphia, PA. He retired in 1989. Logan, Dorothy

Dorothy Logan, 79, of Cape May Court House, NJ went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 22, 2002. She was born in Cape May Court House on August 22, 1922. She lived in Burleigh, NJ during her early years before moving to Northeast Philadelphia. She later resided in Warrington, PA until her retirement from International Word Processing Association in 1986. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cape May Court House.

Surviving are her son, Thomas Logan, daughter-in-law, Jessie; grandsons Matthew and his wife, Karen, and Gary and his wife, Jennifer; and great grandchildren, Jonathan, Brittany, Elizabethe, and Taylor; and a brother, Joseph McCarthy of PA.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 26, at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church, Main and Church Sts., Cape May Court House. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, or to Crest Haven Nursing Home, 12 Moore Rd., Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

Logan, Gail K.

GAIL K. LOGAN passed away on Saturday, June 14th, 2003 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ. She was 57 yrs. of age. Born in Lima, Peru, she spent most of her life in the Bronxville, NY area before moving to Hamilton, NJ 1 year ago. A graduate of Broxville H.S., she is a graduate of Bucknell University in Elizabethtown, PA where she received her B.A. She went on to receive her Masters from the Univ. of Indiana. She served as a book editor in Manhattan, NY for several years and then continued her education receiving her Law Degree from NYU. She maintained a private law practice for many years before becoming V.P. and General Council for Standard Data Corporation in Jersey City, NJ. She is survived by her loving furry feline children Ripley & Althea, and her dear friends who will miss her very much. Funeral services are private and at the convience of her family. On June 7, 2008 of Mt Laurel, NJ. Age 72. Beloved husband of Sue A. (nee Shepherd) Loving father of Sueann Reed (Ed), Agnes Ryback (Stan), James (Joanne), Chris (Shannon), Monica Kelly (Kevin), Andrew (Susan) and John (Stephanie). Preceded in death by his son David. Devoted grandfather of Douglas, Donovan, Daniel, Austin, Matt, Keith, Drew, Jordan, Jackson, Sean, Bryce, Tyler, Ryan, Jake, Zachary, Justin and Brooke. Dear brother of Margaret Kosonovich, Gertrude Gross, Thomas Logar, Lloyd Logar, Timothy Logar, Susan Hammond and Paulette Hayslett. Mr. Logar worked for Hercules, Inc. for many years. He enjoyed family, friends, camping, photography, music and sports and liked to play basketball and baseball. Logue, Jenna L.

Jenna L. Logue, age 28, of Dorchester, NJ and a long time resident of Cape May County, died on Sunday, August 9, 2009, at her home. She was born in Cape May Court House, NJ, the daughter of Gary J. and Denise Ann Logue Pote. She was a graduate of the Cape May County Special Services School District.

Jenna enjoyed watching Chick Flicks, Two and One-Half Men and Wheel of Fortune nightly with her mom; watching weekend sports with her dad and loving the kisses from her brothers and sister. She loved music, puppy dogs, her bed buddies and loved the time spent with her special nurses.

She is survived by her parents, Gary J. and Denise Ann; two brothers: Ryan and Joseph Pote; a sister, Rachel Pote; her maternal grandparents, Charlotta and Dean Logue and her paternal grandmother, Ann Pote; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Edward Pote.

Logue, Sr., Paul Henry

LOGUE, Paul Henry Sr. on January 21, 2004 of Shamong, NJ formerly of Marlton, NJ. Age 82 years. Beloved husband of Ophelia (nee Moraes). Devoted father of Paul Jr., Michael and his wife Patricia and Susan and her husband Michael Lennon. Loving grandfather of Michael, Jason, Jacqueline, Kristin, Kaitlin, Kyle and Jamie. Dear brother of Marjorie Smith, Betty Dougherty and Jenny Banholzer. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Prior to retirement, Mr. Logue was employed as a model maker at RCA in Moorestown for 30 years. He was also a United States Navy Veteran of WWII and treasurer for IUE Local #106. Mr. Logue was a loving and devoted family man who enjoyed spending a lot of time with his grandchildren. Lombardi Jr., William D.

William D. Lombardi, Jr., 48 yrs died on Friday January 30th at his home in Avalon, NJ. Born in Newark, NJ he has lived here in Avalon for the last 15 years, coming from Keasby, NJ. He was a member of Maris Stella Roman Catholic Church, Avalon. He was the author or the book titled "Business Marketing Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow."

He along with his father enjoyed surf fishing.

He is survived by his father William D. Lombardi, Sr. of Avalon and his sister Candia Lahowetz of Olathe, Kansas.

Funeral Liturgy will be said 11:00 AM Thursday, February 5th at Maris Stella Chapel, 25th Street and 1st Avenue, Avalon, NJ. There is no calling time. Interment will be private. Lombardie, Thomas A.

Thomas A. Lombardie, 41, of Ocean Grove, died Friday October 20, 2006 at home. He worked for the Daily Grind in Ocean Grove and for Shop-Rite in Neptune. Born in Elizabeth, he lived in the shore area most of his life.

He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Anne Lombardie. He is survived by two sisters, Patricia Smith and Kathleen Webster and three nieces.

A graveside service under the direction of the Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch, will be held at St. Gertrude cemetery, Colonia, NJ, on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 10:00 am.

Lombardo, Joseph D.

JOSEPH D. LOMBARDO, of Tabernacle, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at the age of 56 yrs. after a long and courageous battle. Born in Phila, PA, he was raised in Barrington, NJ and lived in Tabernacle and Medford for the past 30 yrs. Joe worked for 29 years for Lockheed-Martin in Moorestown, NJ until they laid him off due to his illness. He is the Beloved Husband of 35 yrs. of Barbara A. (Nee Boyer) Lombardo of Tabernacle, NJ and the brother of Daria Lavender and her husband Jim of Bellmawr, NJ and Dominic Lombardo of Barrington, NJ. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his special friend Snipper. Lombardo, Lucy

Lucy Lombardo age 96 of Oceanport died Thursday, April 8, 2004 at St Barnabas Hospice Center at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was a communicant of Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Born in Peekskill, NY, she had lived in Long Branch before moving to Oceanport in 1980. She was predeceased by her husband Felice Lombardo who died in 2000.

Surviving are her son and daughter in law, Joseph and Paula Lombardo; a daughter and son in law, Dame Amelia "Amy" Lombardo Saliski, DS and Lt. Chevalier Richard M. Saliski, RDLG, KS; 2 grandchildren, Felicia and her husband Kerin Slattery, and Joseph M. Lombardo; 2 great grandchildren, Samantha and James Slattery, all Oceanport; 2 step grandchildren, Bernadette Saliski, Mary and her husband Brian Hopkins, 5 step great grandchildren, Cathryn Saliski, Shannon, Shaun, Sarah, and Seth Hopkins, all Minnesota; and a nephew and his wife, Romolo "Andrew" and Marie Strollo, OCeanport.

Lombardo, Sr., Peter J.

Peter J. Lombardo, Sr., 77, of Woodbine, died on Sunday, March 6, 2005 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. Born in Camden to the late Daniel and Angelina (Pescheta) Lombardo, he was a lifetime resident of this area. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Casimir's R.C. Church in Woodbine, the VFW where he was past Post Commander, the American Legion, and the NRA.

Mr. Lombardo is survived by his wife, Margaret K. Lombardo; his son, Peter J. Lombardo, Jr. and his wife, Melody of South Seaville; his daughter, Kathy Zenyuk and her husband, Stephen of Woodbine; his son in law, Mebbie Hearon of Woodbine; his brother, Ed Lombardo of Danbury, CT; his sister, Claudette Liberto of Vineland; his five grandchildren, Jason Hearon and his wife, Courtney, Jeremy Hearon, Christy Lombardo, Daniel Lombardo, and Mary Beth Zenyuk; and his three great grandchildren, Samantha Lombardo, Orren Stewart, and Ryan Hearon. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Peggy Rene' Hearon and his brother, Daniel Pat Lombardo.

Lomonico suddenly March 26, 2004 Brandon Tyler age 6 months of Pine Hill, survived by his loving parents John & Lori Lomonico and his sister Melanie and his maternal grand mother Nancy Kennedy. Lonabaugh, James F

James F. Lonabaugh, age 72 of Camden, NJ died on Monday, October 15, 2001 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Mr. Lonabaugh was a resident of Camden, NJ for the past 20 years.

He was husband of the late Gladys R. (nee Whalen) and father of the late, Robert and John Lonabaugh and Mary Walters. He is survived by four sons, James Barkman, Edward, George and Warren Lonabaugh; one daughter, Sarah Lonabaugh; one sister, Olive Oehlert; and 9 grandchildren.

London, David Jonathan

David Jonathan London, 84, of Woodbine, NJ, died on Wednesday, August 20, 2003, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House, NJ. He was born in Guyana, South America, the son of David Josiah and Tabitha Elizabeth Saigo London. He was a retired minister and was a member of the Church of Christ. He has lived here for the past fourteen years. He is survived by his wife: Eliza Richards London; five children: Marva Stewart of Woodbine, Dr. David T. and wife Geraldine of Woodbine, Charles M. and wife Esther of Queens, NY, Dr. Tsahai Sandrock and husband, Mark of Champaign, IL, and Luraine T. Randall and husband, Pastor Curtis, Jr. of Sicklerville, NJ; a nephew: Philbert London and wife, Victoria of Woodbine; two nieces: Ezline Lawson and husband, Edward of Brooklyn, NY, and Annie Christiani of Pleasantville, NJ; eighteen grandchildren: Zanzi Stewart, Empson Stewart, Imebet Stewart, Dayton Stewart, Tunde Stewart, Pammi Stewart, David Tshombe London, Douglas London, Marlene Rice, Lorraine Troup, Lisa Beachaump, Sondra Burke, Charlese London Esq., Charles London, Jr., Corey London, Cherileigh Kumi of London, England, Daniel Randall, and Michael Randall; and twenty great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel R., on November 11, 1999.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2003, at 1:00 PM at the Lighthouse Deliverance Ministries, Washington Av., Woodbine, NJ, where friends may call at 12:00 PM. Interment will be in the Woodbine cemetery, Woodbine.
