Masciantonio, Joseph J.

Joseph J. Masciantonio, 71, of Sicklerville, NJ, died on Saturday, June 23, 2007, at Virtua, West Jersey Hospital with his family by his side.

Born in Camden NJ, Mr. Masciantonio was a resident of Sicklerville for the past 10 years having formerly lived in Cherry Hill NJ for many years.

Joe was a graduate of Camden High School in 1954 and by profession was a barber for over 25 years working with several shops as well as his own before retiring in 1977. From 1977 until 1987 Joe worked for the City of Camden in their Maintenance Department.

A family man Joe loved to be with his grandchildren, and when not with them he enjoyed playing cards and every now and then a game of chance.

Son of late Anthony and Mary Colangelo Masciantonio, He is survived by his wife Carole Galasso Masciantonio, his two sons and two daughter; Joseph Masciantonio of Sicklerville NJ, Darren Masciantonio of Gloucester NJ, Stella Curtis of Pine Hill NJ and Toni Masciantonio of West Berlin NJ, He is also survived by his 6 dear grandchildren; Robert, Gianna, Anthony, Brandee, Angelina and Avery.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service Wednesday June 27, 2007 at 7:00PM at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 and Evesham Rd. Marlton NJ, where friend may call from 5:00PM until his Funeral Services at 7:00PM. Interment will be Private.

MASCIARELLI, PHILOMENA, on August 27, 2005, of Marlton, NJ. Formerly of Gibbsboro, NJ. Age 70. Wife of the late Frank Masciarelli. Daughter of the late Frank and Jennie (nee Alba) Pistoria. Loving mother of Michael and his wife Lisa, and Dr. Anthony and his wife Karen. Beloved grandmother of: Daniel, Michelle, and Priscilla Masciarelli, and Stacey Swartz. Sister of Anthony Pistoria Sr. and Felicia Pistoria. Masi, Anthony

Anthony (Tony) Masi, age 88 of Long Branch died Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Newark, where he had lived, and moving to Long Branch in 1965. During WWII, he was a machinist for Walter Kiddie and went on to work for, and retire from, S.S. White, Holmdel. He was also a retired crossing guard for Long Branch and a former member of the Newark Elks. He was a communicant of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Masi; three sons, Pat Masi of Parsippany, Anthony Masi of Wanamassa and Nicholas Masi of Little Egg Harbor; a sister, Rose Alessio of AZ; eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave. on the corner of Third Ave, Long Branch, on Friday, Oct. 8 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Saturday, 9:30 am from the funeral home with a service to begin at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport.

Maskas, Kate N.

KATE N. MASKAS (Nee Kalkas), of Shamong, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 7th, 2008. She was 87 yrs. of age. Born in Wooster, OH, she is the daughter of the late Nickolas & Angella Kalkas and the wife of the late John J. Maskas. A former substitute teacher for the Lenape Regional H.S. District, Kate resided in Medford Lakes, NJ for 38 yrs. before moving to Shamong 4 yrs. ago. Prior to this she lived most of her life in Doylestown, PA. She is a founding member of the Medford Lakes Garden Club, a member of the Daughters of Penelope and was active in the Medford Sr. Citizens. She enjoyed gardening and dancing. She is the Beloved mother of Jane M. Stoutland and her husband Richard of Avondale, PA, James J. Maskas and his wife Karen of Burnsville, MN and Margaret M. Fanourgakis and her husband Savas of Shamong, NJ. She is also survived by her Grandchildren Heidi, Hilary & Joanna Maskas, Brett and Ashley Stoutland, and Katie and Nicholas Fanourgakis. Mason, Mary Arlene

Mary Arlene Mason, age 60, of Petersburg, NJ, died on Wednesday, December 31, 2008, at the Cape Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Cape May Court House, NJ, the daughter of Kenneth Young and the late Mary Jane Luker Young. She was employed at the Cafeteria of the Cape May County Vocational School. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, being a loving wife, mom, grandmother and talking to Debbie on the phone.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis W. Sr.; three children: Lisa M. Lord of Tuckahoe; Debbie L. (Corey) Jackson of Villas; and Curtis W., Jr.(Carla) of Corbin City; her father, Kenneth Young of Petersburg, mother-in-law, Elizabeth Mason of Lake Worth, FL; three brothers: Kenneth Young (Bonnie) of Somers Point; John Young (Patty) of Petersburg; Darin Young (Tony) of Dennisville; two sisters: Bonnie (Dan) Lovato of AZ and Donna (Toddy) Nichols of Dennisville; her grandchildren: Jessica and Jenna Mason; Stacie (Bob) Schaaf; Bryan Lord, Jr., Jonathan Lord, Cari Lord, Jason Lord, Sarah Jane Jackson and Corey Jackson, Jr., and one great grandson: Bobby John Schaaf. "Aunt Eep" is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2009, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ followed by a service at 7 p.m. Interment will be private. Mason, Robert J.

ROBERT J. MASON of the Oakwood Section of Medford, NJ passed away on Saturday, July 1st, 2006 at his home. He was 81 yrs. of age. Born in North Platte, NB, he is the son of the late Jean & Eunice Mason and resided in Medford since 1967. A graduate of the Univ. of Nebraska at Lincoln, he received his Masters from Villanova University and was a retired Mechanical Engineer for RCA in Moorestown, NJ. He was also a veteran of the US Navy serving during WWII. He is the husband of the late Alice M. (Nee Meyer) Mason and the Loving Father of Linda Stipick of Burlington, NJ and Lori Cronin of Medford, NJ. He is also survived by his 2 brothers, his sister, 6 Grandchildren and a Great Granddaughter. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. MASON, WALTER F. passed away on January 21, 2005. He was 80. Resident of Southampton, NJ. Formerly of Medford, NJ. Beloved husband of Marie (nee O'Connell). THOMAS E. MASON JR., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 22, 2003 at his home in Tabernacle, NJ. He was 63 yrs. of age. Born in Groveville, NJ, he resided in Tabernacle for 32 years, formerly residing in Yardville, NJ. A retired Supervisor with the Pearl Block Co. in Gibbsboro, NJ he retired in 2002 after 14 years with the company. He was a volunteer with the Medford Farms Fire Co. in Tabernacle and a member of the Medford Farms Fire Co. Softball Team and the Tabernacle Church of Christ. He was also a member of the US Army Reserves. He is the beloved husband of Anne E. (Nee Van Hise) Mason and loving Father of Deborah Achey and her husband Tom of Tabernacle, NJ, Jean Hayfield and her husband Jeff of W. Berlin, NJ, Thomas E. III and his wife Kathy of Sicklerville, NJ, Karen Taylor and her husband Brent of Bartlesville, OK and Dawn Sutherland and her husband Clark of Orange Co, CA. He is also survived by his siblings Pat Gray of Somerdale, NJ, Jean Kaczoroski and Mary Ann Candelori both of Hamilton Twp., NJ and Robert Mason of Utah and his 15 treasured Grandchildren. Masselli, Emma J. Zarlenga

Emma J. Zarlenga Masselli, age 93, of Long Branch, died Saturday April 9, 2005 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. She a parishioner Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch and a member of the Rosary Society. She was predeceased by her husband Santino Masselli in 1984. Surviving is a son and daughter-in-law, Sandy J. Sr. and Joan Masselli, of Old Bridge, three grandsons; Sandy J. Jr., Joseph, and John Masselli, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, on the corner of Third Ave, Long Branch on Tuesday, April 12, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral will be on Wednesday, 8:15 am from the funeral home followed by a 9:15 am Mass at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff cemetery, Hartsdale, New York.

Massey, Betty S.

Betty S. Massey, 80, of Goshen, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2003 at home. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Oscar and Agnes (Tease) Spring, she moved from Collingswood to Stone Harbor Manor in 1970, then to Goshen in 1994. She was an Army WACS Veteran of World War II. She was a member of Shore Point Presbyterian Church in Marmora. She was a member of the Stone Harbor Seniors Club and the Garden Club of Stone Harbor. She was an avid gardener, enjoying her flowers and plants.

Mrs. Massey is survived by her husband, Frank N. Massey; her children, Mark Massey of Goshen, Neal Massey of Haymarket, VA, and Marsha Bieler of Quakertown, PA; and her five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery.

Mast, Sarah Adelaide Oesterle

Sarah Adelaide Oesterle Mast, age 82, of Point Pleasant died Friday, January 12, 2007 at home. Mrs. Mast worked for a brief period as a realtor with Hanlon Realty, Tinton Falls, but was a home maker for most of her life. She was a member of the Reformed Church of America, Tinton Falls, where she and her husband were advisors for the Youth Fellowship Group; she was also a member of the Amacles; Bam Hollow Golf and Country Club; and the Women's 9 Holers Club at Manasquan River Golf Club. Born and raised in Irvington, she had lived in Tinton Falls prior the moving to Pt Pleasant in 1984. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Richard A. Mast in November 2006 and a daughter, Andrea De Sarno in May 2000.

Surviving are 2 sons and daughters in law, Gordon and Susan Mast, West Long Branch; Keith and Joan Mast, Houston, TX; a daughter and son in law, Virginia and Denis Germano, Medford Lakes; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 16, from 2-4, and 7 pm until the time of service at 8:30 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave (corner of Third Ave), Long Branch. Donations are requested in her memory to the Meridian Hospice, 1340 A Campus Parkway, Wall, New Jersey 07753.

Mast, Richard Albert

Richard Albert Mast, age 82 of Point Pleasant died Saturday, November 18, 2006 at home. He was the president of Faitoute Iron and Steel Company, Newark, for 35 years retiring in 1985. Mr. Mast was a Past Commander and Life Member of the American Legion Post 16, Irvington; Past President of the Steel Service Center Institute; a Gold Member of SCORE; a member of Tail Hook Association; Manasquan River Golf Club and Suburban Golf Club; Seton Hall University Alumni Association; and a Literary Volunteer of America. He served his country honorably as a pilot in the US Navy during WWII, retiring as a LT. Cmdr from the US Navy Reserve after 40 years service in 1984. Born in Irvington, he had lived in Pt Pleasant since 1984. Richard was a graduate of Seton Hall University and a member of the Reformed Church of America, Tinton Falls. He was predeceased by his daughter, Andrea De Sarno in May 2000.

Surviving is his wife of 64 years, Sarah Adelaide Mast; 2 sons and daughters in law, Gordon and Susan Mast, West Long Branch; Keith and Joan Mast, Houston, TX; a daughter and son in law, Virginia and Denis Germano, Medford Lakes; his grandchildren and their spouses, Jason Mast, Katie Glass, her husband Braxton and their mother, Cathy Mast; Katherine and Joseph Martin; Christine and Michael Haney; Rachel and Christopher Ulrikson, Patricia and Michael Pecoraro, Matthew Germano and his fiancée, Marie Reen and Patrick Germano; his great grandchildren, Isabella Renee Pecoraro; William Michael Martin; Sophia Marie Pecoraro, Dana Louise Ulrikson, Jolie Katherine Martin and Connor James Haney.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 21, from 2-4, and 7- 8:00 pm with a funeral service to begin at 8:00 pm from the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave (corner of Third Ave), Long Branch. Interment will take place at Brig. General Wm. C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial cemetery at a later late.
