Pecklers, Vincent F.

Vincent F. Pecklers, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2001 at the Virtua Memorial Hosptial in Mt. Holly, NJ. He was 84 years of age. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he has resided in the Leisuretown Section of Southampton, NJ for the past 8 years, moving there from Clifton, NJ. He was a Business Methods Specialist for Western Electric in Kearney, NJ for 42 years until his retirement in 1979. A veteran of the US Army serving in WW II he also was a member of the Leisuretown Bowling League. He is the beloved husband for 55 years of Patricia M. (Nee Betz) Pecklers of Leisuretown, Southampton, NJ. He is also survived by his daughter Gale A. Hewett and her husband Charles of Southampton, NJ, his brother-in-law Harold Nearing of Southampton, NJ, two Granddaughters Lori Riedel of Kansas City, MO and Beth Riedel of Westboro, MA and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Services were private and at the convience of the family at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd. (Rt. 541) Medford, NJ, (609-953-7600). Interment was in the BG William Doyle Veterans Memorial cemetery in Arneytown, NJ.

Pedano, Hazel M.

Hazel M. Pedano, 95, of Goshen, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2009 at her son's home in Delaware. Born in Dennisville to the late George H. and Harriet C. (Robinson) Shaw, she was a lifetime resident of this area before living with her son, Robert six years ago. She was a member of Goshen Methodist Church. She was former president of the Philathea Class Sunday School, financial secretary, and Sunday School teacher for almost 65 years. She was also a member of the Cape May County Riding Club. She was formerly employed in the cafeteria in the Middle Township School System and at W.T. Grants. She also owned and operated Laundromats in Avalon. She was a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies.

Mrs. Pedano is survived by her son, Robert A. Pedano (Bill McFarland); her three granddaughters, Dawn (Chuck) Hall, Lori (Randy) Lane, and Jill (Jim) Robbins; her seven great grandchildren, Toby (Krissy) and Kristi Hall (Jason), Jenn (David) Tassler, Noah Dillard, Randy Lane (Ashley), and Zachary and Matthew Jenney; three great great granddaughters, Miryam Tassler, Monica Lane, and Hayden Hall; her former daughter in law, Sandra (Robert) Glaser; her beloved cat, Spooky; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony on October 20, 1972; her daughter, Dolly Jean in 1938; her brothers, Dr. G. Russell Shaw, Harry L. Shaw, Marcus Shaw, William Shaw, George Shaw, and Charles Shaw; and her sisters, Harriet C. Stockton and Bertha Shaw. The family is very grateful for the care of Delaware Hospice.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ, where viewing will begin at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be in Goshen Methodist cemetery, Goshen, NJ.

Pedata, Msgr. Armand A.

PEDATA, Monsignor Armand A. Pedata, Pastor of St. Joan of Arc Church of Marlton NJ, on December 12, 2006. Age 74. Beloved uncle of Mary Lee and her husband, Richard Miller and their children, Kristen & Heather, Ronald Walraven and his wife, Juanita and their children, Gregory, Jeremy and Jennifer, Karen Pedata Weisnek and her children, Connie and Danielle, Russell Pedata and his children, Patricia, Vincent and Victoria and Steven Pedata. He is also survived by 8 first cousins, Marion Mazzatelli, Theresa Guerro, Susan Garzio, Lena Esposito, Leo Chianese, Anthony Chianese, Connie Picascia and Caroline Capuano. He is the beloved son of the late Maria and the late Anthony Pedata and the dear brother of the late Madeline Walraven and the late Pasquale Pedata.

Born and raised in Trenton, Monsignor Pedata attended St. Joachim's Parochial School, Trenton through 8th grade. He was a graduate of St. Mary's Seminary, Baltimore and was ordained May 31, 1958 receiving a S.T.L. degree. His first parish assignment was St. Andrew's, Avenel until 1962. Bishop Ahr requested that he study Canon Law at the Lateran University, Rome, Italy. In 1965, he received his J.C.D. in Canon Law from the Lateran University. Upon his return to America, Father Pedata was assigned to St. Anne's, Lawrenceville until 1967 then St. Joseph's, Trenton until 1971. During this time, Fr. Pedata was named Assistant Chancellor of the Diocese of Trenton then returned to parish work at Sacred Heart, Trenton. In 1973, he received his first pastorate, St. Joan of Arc Church, Marlton. Shortly after, Fr. Pedata was named Espiscopal Vicar of Burlington County. On October 27, 1977, Pope Paul VI named Fr. Pedata Right Reverend Monsignor Armand A. Pedata.

The Reception of the Body of Monsignor Pedata will be concelebrated 12 noon Monday at St. Joan of Arc Church Willow Bend Road Marlton NJ. He will lie in state Monday from 12:30 - 9pm and Tuesday from 9-11am. The Votive Mass of Jesus Christ the Great High Priest will be concelebrated 7pm Monday. Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated Tuesday 11am. Entombment St. Mary's cemetery, Trenton NJ. Funeral directed by Bradley Funeral Home, Marlton NJ (856) 983-1005. Pedrazzo, Alma Mary Herring

Alma Mary Herring Pedrazzo, of Oakhurst died on Friday, July 2, 2004 at home. Mrs. Pedrazzo was a clinic assistant for the Long Branch Public Health Nursing Association, retiring in 1984. Born in North Bergen, she had lived in Oakhurst since 1989. She was a graduate of St Joseph High School, West New York, New Jersey, a member of the Poplar Village Senior Club, and a communicant of St Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Deal. She was predeceased by her husband John F. Pedrazzo, who died in 1969. Surviving are a son, Thomas Pedrazzo, Elberon Park Oakhurst; a daughter Ellen Elbaor, Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren, Thomas Pedrazzo, Ridgewood; Joy Pedrazzo, Deal; Chris Elbaor, Allison Elbaor and Caroline Elbaor, all Dallas, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend an 11:00 am Mass at St. Michael’s R.C. Church, West End, Long Branch, on Friday, July 9. Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch is in charge of the arrangements.

PEDRICK, Michael J.

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, on July 25, 2006. Of Nutley, formerly of Lindenwold. Age 36. Beloved husband of Jennifer Nellany. Devoted son of Francis L. and Dolores (Markovich) Pedrick of Lindenwold. Dear brother of Frank (Donna) of Sicklerville, Susan Bielecki of Marlton, Monica (Mark) Bottino of Erial, Mark (Barbara) of Sicklerville, Lisa (Bob) Anderson of Mt Laurel, Tina (Kevin) Scott of Ocean City and Amy (Bruce) Stowell of Erial. Son in Law of Dennis (Barbara) Nellany of Ellicott City, MD. Brother in Law of Kristin (Scott) Lavender of Owings Mills, MD, Allison (Andrew) Dunn of Laurel, MD and Dennis Nellany of Laurel, MD. Also survived by many, many nieces and nephews. Michael was a 1988 graduate of Overbrook High School, and an avid and proficient poker player and golfer. Peek, William Robert

William Robert Peek, age 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 29, 2008 at the Kennedy Hospital in Cherry Hill, NJ. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Catherine Irene (Cole) Peek; three daughters, Sandra Black of Orange, CA, Carol Gunsalus of Canandaigua, NY, and Mary Manion and her husband, Paul, of Medford, NJ; two sons, Donald Peek and his wife, Marie, of Papamoa, New Zealand and Louis Peek and his wife, Donna, of Painted Post, NY and also six grandchildren, Roxanne Black, Ronald and Andrea Gunsalus, Glen and Kevin Peek and Marisa Manion. He was predeceased by his siblings, Virginia (Peek) Hanling, Louis Peek, Austin Peek, and Edward "Bud" Peek. Born in Millville, NJ, Bill served as a Radioman in the US Coast Guard and earned a BS in Engineering from Brown University in 1949. He worked as an electrical engineer for many years at General Electric. Bill enjoyed hunting, camping, gardening, boating and fishing all his life, and took great pride in all his children and grandchildren. Peer, Steven D.

STEVEN D. PEER, of Southampton, NJ went home to be with the Lord suddenly on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at the Cooper Medical Center in Camden, NJ. He was 42 yrs. of age. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he has resided in Southampton for the past 12 yrs. and was the owner of Back to Paradise Landscaping in Southampton, NJ., an active member of Fellowship Alliance Chapel in Medford, NJ where he served on several mission trips. Steve is the beloved husband of Leslie Ann (Nee Stead) Peer of Southampton, NJ and the Loving Father of Stephen Webb, Franklin D. Peer, Leann L. Peer and Jason T. Peer. He is the son of Barbara A. Peer of Southampton, NJ and Frank M. Peer of New Gretna, NJ and the brother of Michael J. Peer of Jackson, NJ, Robert W. Peer of Eastampton, NJ, and Denise A. Stout of Browns Mills, NJ. He is also survived by his brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews. Peerte, Hazel

Hazel Peerte, 88, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Sunday, September 16, 2007, at the Eastern Shore Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Tennessee, the daughter of the late John and Minnie Shay Hardy. She was an area resident for over fifty years. She attended Carter County Elementary School and graduated from Douglass High School in Tennessee.

She is survived by her husband, George; and six stepchildren: Annette Lymons-Wise and Eric Hall of NJ; Bonita Milledge of AZ; Allison Banks of NY; Renee Torraine of PA; and Ronnie Saddler of FL; three sisters: Gladys Thomas, Bernice Hardy, and Beatrice Reece all of TN; one sister in law, Mary Hannah of IL; a host of loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, especially Brenda Harrison, Mary Travis and Dr. Robert Salasin.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2007, at Noon at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ where friends may visit at 11:30 a.m. to Noon. Interment is private.

Pehlert, Lawrence O.

Lawrence "WIMPY" O. Pehlert, 76, died on Monday, September 3, 2001 at Rancocas Valley Hospital in Willingboro, NJ. Mr. Pehlert was a lifelong resident of Pennsauken. Beloved husband of the late Frances (nee Fielding). He is survived by three daughters, Hilaire, Charity and Meredith. Loving grandfather of 5 and great grandfather of 1 grandson. Prior to retirement, Mr. Pehlert was employed at ASO Depot in Philadelphia, PA for over 28 years. He was also a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII and Korea. He was a retired Reserve Police Officier in the Twp. of Pennsauken for 25 years. PELA, Pastor Dr. Ona on March 20, 2007 of Cherry Hill NJ. Age 56. Beloved husband of Patience A. Pela (nee Oziegbe). Loving father of Onome, Ufuoma, Oghenegbavwe, Oghenerume and Oziegbe Pela. He is also survived by 5 brothers, 4 sisters and many loving family members. Pastor Dr. Pela was the founder of NISA, a substance abuse program in Camden. He was a Pastor at House of Grace Church in Berlin and a pharmacist for Rite Aid in Camden. Mrs. Pellegrino was owner and operator of Lucy’s Beauty Salon in the Cramer Hill section of Camden, NJ for 35 years.

Pelliciari, Michael Robert

Specialist Pelliciari, Michael Robert. On February 6th, 2010. Of Voorhees, NJ. Age 27. Specialist Pelliciari is survived by his father, Robert, his mother, Elaine, and his sister, Nicole. He will also be missed by many other loving family members and friends.

Michael was born on October 13, 1982 in Manhattan, New York. He is a 2001 graduate of Bishop Eustace Prepatory School in Pennsauken and a 2005 graduate of St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia where he earned a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice.

He enlisted in the United States Army on September 18, 2007 and was assigned to Officers' Candidate School at Fort Benning, Georgia. His current assignment was Alpha Company, United States Army Medical Department Activity in the Department of Radiology of Martin Army Community Hospital. Specialist Pelliciari also assisted in the Information Management Division's Medical Library. His military awards include the Army Commendation Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday Feb. 19th from 1-3 PM and 6-9 PM and Sat. Feb 20th from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt.73 South and Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:30 AM on Sat. at the St. Simon Stock Parish, 178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009. He will be laid to rest in Arlington National cemetery at a later date. WILLIAM A. PENCOSKI, passed away on Tuesday, March 13rd, 2007 at the Medford Care Center in Medford, NJ. He was 69 yrs. of age. Born in Scranton, PA, he has lived in Medford for the past 37 yrs. moving here from Clark Summit, PA. A retired Sales Acct. Mgr. for Ryder Truck Leasing in Cherry Hill, NJ, Bill retired in 1999 after 23 yrs with the company. He was formerly with Int'l Harvester in Phila., Pa. from 1964 to 1976. He is an Eagle Scout, a member of the Masonic Lodge #291 F&AM of Scranton, PA and also former veteran of the US Navy. He is the Beloved Husband of Diane L. (Nee Bruski) of Medford, NJ and the Loving Father of Alexandra P. Kennedy and her husband John P. of Marlton, NJ, Todd D. Shallcross of Morrisville, PA and Laurie L. Peng, Uan F.

UAN F. PENG, of Medford, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2008 at the Medford Care Center in Medford, NJ. He was 79 yrs. of age. Born and raised in Tiawan he is the son of the late Shen-Ho and Mei Lo Peng. He will be deeply missed by his two daughters Sue Peng of Marlton, NJ and Su-Hwa Fong of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ and their families. Pennell, Doris F.

Doris F. Pennell, 82, of Stone Harbor, NJ, died on Monday, February 16, 2004, at the Victoria Manor Nursing Home, North Cape May, NJ. She was born in New Cumberland, PA, and lived in Marlton Lake, NJ before moving here in 1988. She summered here prior to that. She was a member of the Our Saviour Lutheran Church, the Stone Harbor Garden Club, Stone Harbor Seniors and Women's Civic Club, and the Yacht Club. She was a graduate of Gettysburg, PA College, and was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority.

Mrs. Pennell is survived by two daughters: Ann P. Gallucio of Wilmington, DE, and Mary P. Licata and husband, Jerry; grandchildren: Lee and Jason Moffett of Wilmington, DE, Jerome Licata and wife, Tammi, and Carrie Maleski and husband, Chris, both of Cape May Court House, NJ, and Kendra Rickards and husband, Joel, of Aldan, PA; and four great grandchildren.

A service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2004, at 1:00 PM at the Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 92nd and Third Av., Stone Harbor, NJ. Interment is in Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Penney, Lavinia

Lavinia Penney, 73, of Cape May Court House, NJ died on Monday, May 23, 2005 at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House, NJ. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and lived here for the past 32 years coming from Philadelphia. She was owner of Billy Beas Womens Clothing Shop in Phila. She is survived by her daughter Patricia N. Conley of Cape May Court House and son James C. Penney of Delaware County, PA. Also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral Liturgy will be said at 10:00 AM Friday, May 27, 2005 at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Garden State Parkway and East Mechanic Street, CMCH, NJ where relatives and friends may call after 9:00 AM. Interment in Cape May County Veterans cemetery, CMCH.

Pennino, Pearl

Pearl Pennino, 88, of North Wildwood, departed this life on January 8, 2007 surrounded by family and friends into the loving arms of Jesus. She was born to the late Andrew and Emily (Nelson) Hansen in North Wildwood in the house she lived in now and was a lifetime resident of this area. She was formerly employed by Millville Laundry. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Anglesea and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. Pearl enjoyed lighthouses and collected items with lighthouses on them.

Mrs. Pennino is survived by her sons, Joseph Pennino of North Wildwood and Daniel Pennino and his wife, Eddie of Vineland; and her granddaughters, Brooke Pennino and Danielle Pennino.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Cold Spring Presbyterian cemetery. PENNY, Amy Melissa, suddenly on February 2, 2007, of Marlton NJ, formerly of Crossville TN. Age 30. Beloved daughter of Sean & Jackie Woods of Marlton NJ. Dear mother of Nathanael R. & Jessica L. Penny. Loving sister of Susan Woods, Lisa Minton, LaToya Miller and Danny Miller. Amy is also survived by several loving family members. She is the daughter of the late David Miller and the sister of the late Samantha Miller. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Tuesday from 5-7pm at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton where a Funeral Service will be held at 7pm Tuesday. Interment, Crossville TN.
