Rita D. PINTO (nee DeFeo) passed away suddenly on May 11, 2008, Age 79. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael J. Pinto and her loving son, Michael Pinto, Jr. Loving mother of Robert Pinto of Waterford Works NJ, daughter and son in law, Janice and John Di Gialleonardo of Stratford NJ and son and daughter in law, William and Darlene Pinto of Delran. She is survived by 6 beloved grandchildren, William, Joseph and Christopher Pinto, Savannah and Matthew

Di Gialleonardo and Robert Pinto Jr. and 2 dear sisters, Ann Boas and Marie Savignano. Before retiring in 1988, Rita taught Accounting in NJ Public Schools and she was a member of NEA, NJEA, BCEA and FTEA. Mrs. Pinto was a member of the Millside Heights Women Association Club and served as treasurer. She was also belonged to the Millside Heights Civic Assocition, and also served as the treasurer. She was an active member of the Societa Bell'Italia Club, Delran Senior Citizens Club and Holy Name Church. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Thursday from 7-9pm at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 and Evesham Rd. Marlton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Friday at St. Lawrence Church White Horse Pike Lindenwold NJ. Interment Gate of Heaven cemetery, Berlin NJ.

PIPER, JANE L. (nee McDermott)

On November 24, 2002, of Pennsauken, NJ; age 75 years.

Beloved Wife of William H. Sr.; Loving Mother of William H. Piper, Jr. and his wife, Julie of Richmond, VA, Vincent Piper and his wife, Marylynn of Marlton, NJ, Mary Jane and her husband Gene Lesinski of Sicklerville, NJ and Theresa and her husband, Ken Mair of Voorhees, NJ; Dear Sister of Lawrence McDermott and his wife, Sue of Kiawah Island, SC and loving grandmother of Brian, Corey, Tim, Erin, Jaclyn, Colin and Allison.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Mass on Saturday, November 30, 2002 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Stephens, 6300 Browning Road where friends will be able to gather with the family at 9:00 AM. Interment of cremated remains will follow at Gate of Heaven cemetery, Berlin.

Piper, Gertrude V.

GERTRUDE V. PIPER, (Nee Simpkins) of Williamstown, NJ, formerly of Medford, NJ, passed away on Monday, December 25th, 2006 at the Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Washington Twp., NJ. She was 84 yrs. of age. Born in Millville, NJ, she was he daughter of the late William & Mary Simpkins and the wife of the late Joseph H. Piper. She resided in Medford, NJ for 58 years before moving to Williamstown last year. A full time mother and home maker she was a veteran of the US Army serving during WWII and was a member of the Medford VFW Post 7677. She is the Beloved mother of Jo Ann P. Keenan and her husband Richard of Williamstown, NJ and Bonnie L. Nippins and her husband Philip of Southampton, NJ. She is also survived by her brother James Simpkins of Leisuretown, Southampton, NJ, her sister Janice Soloman of IL, her Grandsons Richard Keenan of N.C., Christopher Keenan of Williamstown, NJ and Matthew P. Nippins of Arlington, MA and her Great Granddaughter Caitlin M. Nippins. Funeral Services were Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006 at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ, (609-953-7600), with interment at the Odd Fellows cemetery in Medford, NJ.

Pisano, Antoinette M.

Pisano, Antoinette M., 84, of Rio Grande passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at home. Born in Potenza, Italy to Carlo and Isabella Pruonto, she moved to Philadelphia when she was five. She moved to Wildwood in 1970 and worked as a waitress and hostess at Cozy Morley's Club Avalon in North Wildwood. She was predeceased this year by her husband Joseph in March and her son Bruce Logan in September.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Emore of Rio Grande; daughter in law, Corinne Logan; brother Gene (Joyce) Pruonto of Duncansville, PA; grandchildren Nanette and Bruce; and great grandchildren, John, Hayden, Tatum, and Tyler.

A Memorial Service will be on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, 2900 Atlantic Ave., Wildwood, NJ 08260. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Rt. 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210.

Piscitelli, Grace F.

Grace F. Piscitelli age 80, of Long Branch died Tuesday, January 21 at Gateway Care Center, Eatontown.

She was a seamstress for Century Sports Wear, Long Branch for 25 years before retiring.

Born in Long Branch, she was a life resident

She was a parishoner Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch

She was predeceased by her husband, Louis R. Piscitelli in 1997, a sister, Nettie Pocaro and her brother, Sam Juliano

Surviving are two sons, Louis R. and Joseph S. both of Long Branch, one sister, Mary Marra of Long Branch, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

An Entombment Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch is in charge of arrangements.

Piscitelli, Carmella Romano

CARMELLA ROMANO PISCITELLI, 85, of Oakhurst, OCEAN TOWNSHIP, died Tuesday, Sept. 21, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. She was born in Long Branch and had lived there until moving to Oakhurst 19 years ago.

She was predeceased by her husband, Dominick Piscitelli Sr., in 1998; her son, Dominick Piscitelli, in 2003; and a grandson, Joseph Pyanoe. Surviving are her daughter, Dolores Pyanoe of Wall; three grandchildren, Dina Pyanoe, James Fragro, and Evan Piscitelli; several nieces and nephews; and her close friend, Susan Epstein.

Relatives and friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave. corner of Third, Long Branch. The funeral will be 8:30 a.m. Saturday from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Long Branch. Interment will follow in Mount Carmel cemetery, West Long Branch.

Piscitelli, Jr., Dominick S.

DOMINICK S. PISCITELLI JR., 56, of LONG BRANCH, died Thursday, Aug. 14, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was the proprietor of the Gold Trader, West End, Long Branch. He was a coach for the Freehold Little League for eight years. Born in Long Branch, he lived in Freehold before moving to Long Branch.

He was predeceased by his father, Dominick Piscitelli Sr., in 1998. Surviving are a son, Evan John Piscitelli of Freehold and his mother, Deborah Stevens Piscitelli; Dominick's mother, Carmella Romano Piscitelli of Oakhurst; a sister, Dolores Pyanoe of Wall; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Damiano Funeral Home, corners of Third and Franklin avenues, Long Branch. The funeral will be 8:30 a.m. Monday from the funeral home with a 9:30 a.m. Mass at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel cemetery, West Long Branch.

Pitale, Shirley A.

Shirley A. Pitale, age 69, of Goshen, NJ, died on Thursday, September 20, 2007, at the home of her son, David. She was born in Cape May Court House, NJ, the daughter of the late John and Eleanor Wood Hand. She was a lifetime county resident.

Shirley was a retired food service worker for the Middle Township Board of Education.

She is survived by two sons: David J. and his wife, Carole, of Goshen, NJ, and Donald S. and his wife, Karen, of Cape May Court House, NJ; three brothers: Nathaniel Hand, Roger Hand, and David Hand; and three sisters: Lois Bennett, Peggy McKee, and Sandra French. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Arden and John Hand and a sister, Carol Nicoletta.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2007, at 9:00 a.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church cemetery, Rt. 9 and South Seaville Road, Ocean View, NJ.

Pittaluga, Catherine A.

Catherine A. Pittaluga of Sea Isle City, New Jersey, died on Saturday, January 20, 2007, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

She was born on April 10, 1928 in Malin Head, County Donegal, Ireland. Her parents were Margaret and Philip "the Jammer" Doherty. In 1950, she came to America. Settling in Wilmington, she worked for the DuPont Family. While on vacation in Cape May, she met her husband, Giacomo. He died in 1983. After getting married Catherine moved to Sea Isle with her husband. Shortly after arriving, she worked as a nurse at Mercy Hospital. For the past 30+ years she was a prep-cook for Busch's Restaurant in Townsend's Inlet, NJ. Catherine was a parishioner of St. Joseph's in Sea Isle City since 1954.

Catherine is survived by two sons: Pietro and his wife, Kathy of Dennis Township, NJ, and Philip and his wife, Nicole of Chatham, NJ; two daughters: Margaret Pittaluga and her husband, Stephen Beecher, and Cathleen Paugh and her husband, Doug, both of Randolph, NJ. Catherine survived the devastating loss of her beloved son Anthony in 1972. He was 17.

Catherine is survived by five grandchildren: Matthew and Peter Pittaluga, Zachary and Trevor Beecher, and Rachel Paugh.

Catherine has five surviving siblings: John "the Jammer" Doherty of Ireland; Ellen Scargill, Margaret Hubert, and Philem Doherty of England; and Daniel Doherty of Wilmington, Delaware.

The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday, January 26th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in Sea Isle City, NJ. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. before the Mass. Interment will be in St. Elizabeth's cemetery, Goshen. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Center for Evaluation and Counseling, 129 Washington Street, Morristown, NJ 07960 or to your favorite charity.

Pivinski, Rosemary A.

Rosemary A. Pivinski, 36, of Pomona, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2008. Born in Point Pleasant, she moved to Pomona three years ago from Cape May Court House. She was an optical technician at J.C. Penney Optical in Mays Landing. She enjoyed country music and karaoke and loved her cats, Meow-Meow and Chester.

Rosemary is survived by her parents, Chet and Cathie Pivinski of Rio Grande; one sister, Lisa Pivinski and Lisa's companion, Jason Adamson of Egg Harbor Township; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House. Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Cape May County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center, DN 501B, 4 Moore Road, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

Pizzuti, Louis John

Pizzuti, on December 12, Louis J. of Marlton. Formerly of Philadelphia. Loving husband of Theresa (nee Colagerco). Father of Linda and her husband Jim Barattolo of Cherry Hill, and Phyllis and Gene Amodei of Marlton. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. PIZZUTI, Theresa G. (nee Colagreco) on January 14, 2004 of Marlton, NJ formerly of Philadelphia, PA. Age 76 years. Beloved wife of the late Louis John. Devoted mother of Linda Barattolo and her husband Jim of Cherry Hill and Phyllis Amodei and her husband Gene of Marlton. Loving grandmother of 5 and great grandmother of 1. PIZZUTILLO, Costello W. "Tony"

On March 24, 2004, of Voorhees. Age 84. Beloved husband of the late Ida (nee Angelastro) Loving father of Peter and his wife Barbara of Wynnewood, PA, Joseph and his wife Corinne of Voorhees, and Anthony and his wife Patricia of Lawrenceville. Devoted grandfather of eleven and great grandfather of four. Mr. Pizzutillo served in the Army Air Force during World War II. He was a great outdoorsman, hunter, fisherman and a homesteader in Alaska. He enjoyed writing and painting. He is a retired residential and commercial general contractor. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing 9-11am Saturday at St Andrew the Apostle Church, Kresson Gibbsboro Rd. at Haddonfield Berlin Rd. (Rt 561) in Gibbsboro. Mass of Christian Burial 11am Saturday at the church. Interment private. Plancey, Philip E.

Philip E. Plancey, age 49, of Long Branch died Monday, April 16, 2007 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was co owner along with his father of King Saw Services, Oakhurst. Philip was a member of Matt Talbot Group; North Shrewsbury Ice Boat and Yacht Club, where he was an avid ice boater; and Independent Saw Shops of America. He was a communicant of Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Born in Long Branch, he was a life resident.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Kathy Stowman Plancey; a son, Ian Plancey, two daughters, Ashley Plancey and Lindsey Plancey, Long Branch; his parents, Elmer and Daisy Plancey, Oceanport; a brother and sister in law, Stephen and Teresa Plancey, Point Pleasant; 2 grandchildren, Christopher Plancey and Nasir Mc Cullers; a sister in law, Karen Voorhees; a brother in law, John Stowman; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Thursday April 19, from 4 to 8 pm from the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue, (corner of Third Ave), Long Branch. Funeral, Friday 8:30 am from the funeral home followed with a 9:30 am Mass at Star of the Sea Church, Long Branch. Interment will be at Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport.

Plancey, John J.

John J. Plancey, age 86 of West Long Branch died Friday, January 28, 2005 at Jersey Shore Care Center, Eatontown. He was the founder and president of Central Broiler Repair Company, Oakhurst since 1946. He was a past president and past state president of the Long Branch Exchange Club; a member of the Manasquan River Golf Club; and a honorary member of the Oliver Byron Engine Company of the Long Branch Fire Department. He was a communicant of St John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Born in Elizabeth, he had lived in Long Branch before coming to West Long Branch 20 years ago. He was predeceased by his wife, Renee Englander Plancey in 1985. Surviving are a son and daughter in law, John E. and Conny Plancey, West Long Branch; a daughter and son in law, Susan and Gordon Mast, West Long Branch; a brother and sister in law, Elmer and Daisy Plancey, Oceanport; 2 grandchildren, Christine and Patricia; and 2 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave. on the corner of Third Ave, Long Branch, on Tuesday, February 1, from 2-4, 7-9 pm. Funeral Wednesday, February 2, at 9 am from the funeral home followed by a 10 am mass at St John the Baptist R.C. Church. Interment will be at Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport. Memorial donations are requested to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 216 Hadden Avenue, Westmont, NJ 08108.

Plantamura, Peggy J. Navarre

Peggy Navarre Plantamura, age 78 of West Long Branch died Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Peggy was a volunteer at the West Long Branch Public Library, and was a member of the Ft Monmouth Officers Wife Club. Having a passion for golf, she could always be found playing at SunEagle's Golf Course at Ft Monmouth. Mrs. Plantamura was a parishioner of St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church, West Long Branch. Born and raised in Rossville, Ks, she had lived in West Long Branch since 1954. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Joseph A. Plantamura in 1997.

Surviving are 4 sons and 3 daughters in law, Michael Plantamura, Brick; Peter and Kathy Plantamura, Weston, Fl.; Vincent and Anne Plantamura Eatontown; Chris and Terry Plantamura, Elberon; a daughter and son in law, Maria and William Younger, West Long Branch; 6 grandchildren, Peter and Michelle and their mother Cindy; Paul "PJ", Carly, Jamie and Katie.
