Reimels Jr., John H.

John H. Reimels, Jr., age 62 years, of Cape May Court House, New Jersey died on Friday, December 29, 2006, at his home. He was born in Jamaica, New York to Rose (Seibert) & Henry Reimels and has lived here for the last 18 years, coming from Vineland, NJ. He was a Minister at the Pitman Church of Christ for the last 2 years and at the Cape May Court House Church of Christ for the last 16 years where he ministered a bereavement group, served as clergy for the Trinity Hospice, had farmed in Vineland for 22 years prior to entering the ministry at the Cape May Court House Church of Christ, attended the University of Maryland and graduated proudly from Eastern University in 2004.

He is survived by his wife Joyce A. (nee Kologie) of Cape May Court House, NJ, his son John and his wife Lisa Reimels of Vineland, his daughter Dawn and her husband Brian Smith of Vineland, his mother Rose "Dolly" Reimels of Vineland, his brother William and his wife JoAnn Reimels of Medford, four grandchildren; Justin Reimels, Alexis Smith, Chyanne Smith and Cody Smith. Also survived by several nieces & nephews.

Funeral Service 12:00 pm on Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at the Pitman Church of Christ, 115 East Holly Ave., Sewell, NJ 08080 where visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Interment is private in Union cemetery, South Dennis.

Remes, Alice R

ALICE R. REMES, (Nee Ross), of Columbus, NJ, passed away on October 14, 2009. She was 73 yrs. of age. Born in Passaic, NJ, she has resided in Columbus for the past 3 years moving here from Clifton, NJ. A retired Registered Nurse, Alice worked for 20 years with the Daughters of Miriam in Clifton until her retirement in 1993. She also worked at Passaic General Hospital where she received her nursing training. She is the Beloved Wife of Henry F. Remes of Columbus, NJ and the Loving Mother of David W. Remes and his wife Vera of Ringwood, NJ, Nancy L. Pignatello and her husband David of Medford, NJ and Mary Anne Jones and her husband Keith of Trophy Club, TX. She is also survived by her Daughter-in-law Fran Mistretta of MI, her Grandchildren Kristen, Dana and Thomas Pignatello, Brandon and Brooke Jones, and Denise, Vince, Tony and Kim Pizzo and her Great Grandson Cole Spellman. She is the mother of the late Richard Jeffrey Remes. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Remetta, John

JOHN "Big John" REMETTA of Medford, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 17, 2003. He was 69 yrs. of age. Born in Thoorp, PA, he has resided in Medford, NJ since 1976, moving there from Willingboro, NJ. A well known Drywall Contractor, he was the owner and founder of Big John's Drywall Co. in Medford, NJ which he owned and operated from 1974 until 1995. A member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Marlton, NJ, he was a Veteran of the US Army. He is the beloved husband of Catherine (Nee Cawley) Remetta, loving father of John M. & Maureen Remetta of Southlake, TX, Gary & Kathleen Remetta of Cinnaminson, NJ, George F. & Lisa Remetta of Port Orange, FL, Kevin L. & Susan of Shamong, NJ and Cathleen M. & Christopher Nowlen of Watkinsville, GA. and Grandfather of Joy, Jonathan, Lauren, Natasha, Brendan, John R, Matthew and Jordan. REMICK, Bernice E. (nee Potter)

On August 24, 2005 of Mt Laurel. Age 92. Beloved wife of the late Adam Remick and the late Alfred Rex. Loving mother of Bernard Rex of Phila, Bernice Matlack of Hatfield, PA, Howard Rex (and his wife Connie) of Bensalem, PA and Dolores Dougherty of Mt Laurel. Devoted grandmother of 5 and great grandmother of 5. Dear "Aunt" of Helen (Berger) Black, her husband Bob and their family. Mrs. Remick had been an active member of the Mt Laurel Garden Club. Rennie, William (Bill) Thomas

William (Bill) Thomas Rennie, age 79, of Seaville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, June 8th at home with his family by his side.

Bill was born October 18th, 1927 in Philadelphia. Bill is predeceased by: daughter, Diane Mitchell and son, William Thomas Rennie, III. He is survived by his wife of fifty six years: Elizabeth Ernul Rennie, six children: Michael and wife Holly Rennie, Jim and wife Joanne Rennie, John and wife Sue Rennie, Paul and wife, Christine Rennie, Robert and wife Maureen Rennie, Joe and wife Jodi Rennie; fifteen grandchildren: Michael, Casey, Tom Lucchesi, Eric, Alex, John, Jason, Monica, Robert, Delanie, Liam, Meghan, Colleen, Joseph and Patrick.

Mr. Rennie began his career at SmithKline in 1955 in the Accounting department and held numerous executive level positions. He retired after twenty eight years of distinguished service as Executive Vice-President, CFO, and member of the Board of Directors, 1973 through 1983.

In 1985 Bishop George Guilfoyle asked Bill to help establish a Diocesan Investment Advisory Board for the Diocese of Camden. The purpose of the Board was to advise the Bishop on the prudent investing of diocesan and parish funds. Bill was a co-founder of that endeavor and served as a driving force for the next twenty one years through the episcopacies of Bishop James McHugh, Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio and Bishop Joseph Galante. Bill retired from the Committee in 2006 at which time he was appointed Chairman Emeritus of the Investment Board.

In the year 2000 Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio asked Bill to serve on the Diocesan Finance Council. This Council's role was to provide counsel to the Bishop on all financial matters of significance in the Diocese. Bill served on the Council through 2006 throughout which time Bill was a trusted advisor to the Bishops he served and known to be a passionate advocate for catholic education.

In 1985, Bill received one of his greatest honors in being awarded the St. Gregory medal by Pope John Paul II. The Order of St. Gregory honors those individuals who have distinguished themselves in defense of the temporal powers of the Holy See.

Bill served as trustee of the Avalon Home and Land Owners Association as well as a member of its Executive Committee. He served as the liaison between AHLOA and the Borough's Council's Revenue and Finance Committee on municipality budget matters. In June of 2004 the Association honored Bill with a life time membership for his contributions and years of service. At the request of the Mayor, Bill served as co-chair for the Borough's Bi-centennial celebration, as a member of the committee that recommended the privatization of the Borough's Water and Sewer Authority and on the advisory committee that structured the transition from the county library system to the independent Avalon Free Public Library.

He served on numerous borough ad-hoc committees and was a sage advisor to the Borough Council, Administrator and Chief Financial Officer on municipal economics and financial policies. Bill's keen financial insight and desire to serve his community always with the objective to do the right things for the right reasons was paramount to his service. His commitment to the community exemplified "service over self".

His social affiliations included membership since 1988 in Lions Club International and the Lions Club of Avalon of which he was a charter member. Bill contributed countless hours to the Maris Stella Catholic Church and parish, from helping with collections, to the honorary "Bingo Guru", and as a "head chef" for the Ecumenical Breakfasts. He was instrumental in raising funds for the construction of both the current Maris Stella church and the new Catholic elementary school, Bishop McHugh as well as a key organizer in the annual House of Charity Appeals.

Bill was a passionate sports enthusiast. He was an avid supporter of Villanova basketball and Penn State football. He especially enjoyed cheering on his hometown Eagles, Flyers and Phillies teams.

Viewing hours will be on Thursday, June 14, 2007 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Radzieta Funeral Home: 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 15, 2007 at 10:30 AM at Maris Stella Roman Catholic Church: 5012 Dune Drive, Avalon. Burial will follow at St. Mary's cemetery, Cold Spring.

Renza, Helen P.

Helen P. Renza, 93, of Collingswood, died on Monday, February 21, 2005 at Victoria Manor Nursing Home, North Cape May. She was born in Fishers Island, NY to the late Alexander H. and Sigrid (Andersen) Perwein. She was a 1932 graduate of Syracuse University and graduate studies at Columbia University. She was a social worker in Peekskill, NY and an elementary school teacher at Zane - North School in Collingswood. She was a member of the Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Pennsauken, the NJEA, and the retired teachers association. She was a member of the Syracuse University Alumni Association and a sister of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority at Syracuse. She was deeply involved in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Renza is survived by her sons, Dr. Robert A. Renza and his wife, Kristina of Wildwood Crest, and Dr. Richard A. Renza and his wife, Debra of Cape May Court House; her grandchildren, Robyn R. Lazaro, Robert A. Renza, Jr., Toni L. Renza, Michael C. Renza, Richard A. Renza, Jr., Renee' A. Renza, and Ryan A. Renza; her step grandchildren, Marlena Mazari, Kelly E. Benigno, and Michael J. Hultz; her great grandchildren, Monique, Olivia, Logan, and Brooke; and her step great granddaughter, Aubrey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony J. Renza, her granddaughter, Richelle A. Renza Dwight, her brother, Col. Alexander Perwein, and her sister, Marie Rasmussen.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 25, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where friends may call on Thursday, February 24 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson. Renzella, Annette G.

Annette "Nette" G. Renzella age 97 of Long Branch went to live to with the Lord on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was a secretary bookkeeper for a variety of companies both in Long Branch and in New York City for many years.

Nette was a life member of the Art Students League of New York City and also attended several season of art instruction. In her spare time, she wrote poetry and was a published poet. She was a communicant of Holy trinity R.C. Church, Long Branch.

Surviving are 2 sisters, Louise Saccaro of West Long Branch; Mary Fernandes of Long Branch; and a brother, James Renzella of Long Branch and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Visitation will be held at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, on the corner of Third Ave, Long Branch on Friday, September 2, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Saturday, at 8:30 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Long Branch. Interment will be at Mt Carmel cemetery, West Long Branch.

Renzella, Cosmo R

Cosmo R. Renzella age 90 of Long Branch died Thursday, March 15, 2007 at home. Born and raised in Long Branch, he was a 1935 graduate of Long High School. He was a member of the Green and White Association, Long Branch; President and founding member of Gingers Athletic Club; and a communicant of St Michael's R.C. Church, West End. He was also a caddy for Byron Nelson during the 1934 N.J. Open. In 1942, he enlisted in the US Army, serving honorably during WWII in the 633rd Tank Destroyer Battalion. He drove his tank under General Patton. Mr. Renzella was a bread salesman and shop steward at Baldanza's Bakery in Long Branch from 1956 until retirement in 1980. He is predeceased by his wife, Mayme Morelli Renzella in 1998; two sisters, Grace Renzella and Josephine O'Brien. Surviving is his son Richard L. Renzella of Eatontown; a daughter and son in law, Rosemary and Charles Truax of Ocean Twp.; a brother, Richard Renzella of Long Branch; two sisters, Angie Guarino of Toms River and Louise Talarico of Middletown; and two grandchildren, Colin and Giana Truax.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2007 from 1-5 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave on the corner of Third Ave, Long Branch. Renzo, Jennie M.

Jennie M. Parrottino Renzo, age 92 of Boynton Beach, Florida died Thursday, July 4, at Bethesda Memorial Hospital, Boynton Beach, Fla. Born in Red Bank, she had lived in Long Branch before moving to Boynton Beach 30 years ago. She was a communicate of Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Renzo in 1984. Surviving are 2 sons and a daughter in law, Joseph Renzo, Florida, Vincent and Laura Renzo, Florida, 3 brothers, Peter Parrottino, West Long Branch, Daniel Parrottino, West End, Robert Parrottino, Florida, 2 sisters, Addie Lucia, West End, and Violet Mazza, Florida. Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, Third and Franklin aves., Long Branch, on Tuesday, from 2-4, 7-9 pm. Funeral Wednesday July 9, at 8:15 am from the funeral home followed by a 9:15 am Mass at Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C. Church. Interment will be in Mt Carmel cemetery, West Long Branch.

Repici, Angelo J.

Angelo J. Repici, 90, a lifetime resident of Belleplain, NJ, died on Friday, September 10, 2004, at his home. He was the son of the late Dominick and Katherine Elacqua Repici. He was a farmer and also was a heavy equipment operator for Evergreen Homes. Mr. Repici was a master of all trades. He was a member of St. Casimir's R.C. Church here. He served in the US Army Air Corps during World War II, and was in the China Burma India Theatre Operations as a Staff Sgt. and was an airplane mechanic repairing P38 Fighterplanes. He was a charter member of the Post 6257 VFW of Belleplain; served on the Cape May County Board of Agriculture; and was a weekly visitor to Caesar's Casino.

He is survived by his sons: Frank A. and wife, Kathy, Michael E. and fiancée, Elaine Ernst both of Belleplain, and Stephen J. and wife, the late Deborah of Lexington, MA; sisters: Jennie Marucci of Mays Landing, NJ, Virginia Jackson of Ocean City, NJ, and Rose Filachek of Belleplain; and grandchildren: Justin, Daren, and Kira. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stephanie (Michael) Repici in April, 1994.

Funeral Liturgy will be said on Wednesday, September 15, 2004, at 11:30 AM at St. Casimir's R.C. Church, Clay St., Woodbine, NJ. Interment will follow in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery, Cape May Court House, NJ. Repici, III, Nicholas J.

Nicholas J. Repici, III, age 28, of Cape May Court House died on Thursday at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital from injuries in a motorcycle accident.

He was born in Cape May Court House and was a lifetime area resident. He was a marine technician for the Cape May Marine Company. Being an avid hunter, Nicky was a member of the Crooked Horn Gunning Club; he also loved to fish and if someone needed a tow, he was there to tow them. He enjoyed helping people and had saved a fisherman from drowning recently in the Delaware Bay. He enjoyed country linedancing.

He is survived by his parents: Nicholas J. Jr. and Donna (Morris) of Belleplain; his brother and sister in law, Brian T. and Julie of Goshen; his godchild: Emilie M.; his maternal grandparents: Millicent Morris of Cape May Court House and Edward T. Morris and his wife, Josephine of Berwick, Pa. and his paternal grandmother, Splendora Repici. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Nicholas J., Sr. in January of this year.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2001, at Noon at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ where friends may call 9 am to 11:30 am. Went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 18, 2002, of Pennsauken, NJ Formerly of Woodlynne, Age 77. Beloved husband of Ruthann (nee Dempsey), Loving father of Brian D. Reppert and his wife Tammy L. of Salinas, CA and Leslie A. Powell and her husband Scott of Taichung, Taiwan.

Respass, Johnny T.

Johnny T. Respass, 84, of Franklinville at home on Friday, Jan. 18, 2002.

Johnny, formerly of Bellmawr, has been a resident of Franklinville since 1979. He retired in 1959 as Lieutenant of the United States Navy and worked as a flight engineer for Copital Airlines for 19 years. His hobbies included hunting and fishing and he was an avid airplane pilot.

Beloved husband of 62 years to Hannah, devoted father of John (Marie) and R. Michael (Debbie), and loving grandfather of 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Reutter, John G.

Reutter, John G. on Feb. 26, 2002 of the Wiley Village, Marlton age 91 former founder and charter member of the New Jersey branch of Consulting Engineers Council. He is the husband of the late Della Mae(nee Hunsberger) and survived by his two daughters Judy Reutter Klotzbach & Elizabeth Reutter Martin, four grandchildren & six greatgrandchildren. A lifelong resident of Southern New Jersey and a 1939 graduate of Drexel U., Mr Reutter began his 50 year civil engineering career with Hungerford and Terry, Inc. where he served as chief engineer. In 1951, Mr. Reutter founded John G. Reutter Associates, a civil engineering firm that earned a reputation as one of the state's top engineering consulting companies by completing a variety of projects such as the Atlantic City Expressway and the Atlantic County Regional Sewer System. New Jersey Monthly magazine described his influence by saying, 'For years, Reutter has been harnessing the winds of change in South Jersey, often being one step ahead of everyone else in predicting the region's needs - and helping to solve them. The aggressive Reutter firm has had a hand in nearly every engineering facet of South Jersey's growth since World War II.' Mr. Reutter was also a life member in the American Society of Civil Engineers and a member of the American Institute of Consulting Engineers, The American Water Works Association, and the Water Pollution Control Federation. He retired in the early 1990's and a company located in Cherry Hill, NJ still bears his name. Mr. Reutter was a committed servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. He became a Christian in 1922 and has remained steadfast until his coming home. He was a philanthropist who routinely donated money and other material goods to those in need, particularly missionaries. He was a member of Clayton (NJ) Baptist and attended Bethel Church in Cherry Hill, NJ. His hobbies were gardening and watching the Philadelphia Phillies. His life was an inspiration for those who knew him. He will be greatly missed! REX, on April 14, 2003, Joseph A. of Sicklerville, formerly of Cherry Hill. Age 74. Born in Palmerton PA, Joe had served in the US ARMY and attended East Stroudsburg State College. He was a Physical Education teacher in Lancaster County and Cherry Hill School District. He is survived by his children, Holly Hoynak and Ross Rex and 3 grandchildren, Sharon, Jennifer and Kristina. MARGARET G. REY (Nee Gilbert), of Medford Lakes, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at the age of 82 yrs. Born in Voorhees, NJ, she has resided in Medford Lakes for the past 35 yrs., moving there from Collingswood, NJ. She is a former Stock Broker with Drexel, Burman, Lambert in Phila, PA. She is the Beloved Wife of Walter R. Rey of Medford Lakes, NJ and the Loving Mother of Linda Rey Stahl and her husband Scott of Belle Mead, NJ. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Paul A. Rey of Boxborough, MA and her Grandchildren Patrick D. and Arica J. Stahl. Funeral services will held at a future date. Reynolds, Marie C.

MARIE C. REYNOLDS (Nee Creighton), went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 30, 2002 at her home in Marlton, NJ. She was 44 yrs. of age. Born in Phila. PA, she resided in Marlton for the past 8 years moving there from Riverton, NJ. A Singer/Song Writer she spent 1 ½ years in Nashville, TN recording and writing with Acuff Rose Music Publishing. She is best known for her songs 'Speechless' sung by Sandi Patti, 'All I Need to Know' sung by Charles Billingsley, 'I Abandon Myself to You' sung by Jim Nabors and 'New Eyes' sung by Kim Hill. She is a graduate of Bishop Kenny H.S. in Jacksonville, FL and a member of the Fellowship Alliance Chapel. She is the beloved mother of Adrian M. Reynolds and Caitlin E. Reynolds both of Southampton, NJ, Loving daughter of Joseph A. and Kathleen P. (Nee Flanagan) Creighton Jr. of Brigantine, NJ, and sister of Joseph A. III and his wife Laurie of Palmyra, NJ, Gerard A. and his wife Susan of Port Republic, NJ, Andrew J. and his wife Beth of Glenshaw, PA, Christopher P. of Haddonfield, NJ, Kathleen P. Parker of Marlton, NJ and Elizabeth A. Hornung and her husband Bill of Marlton, NJ. She is also survived by her former husband Floyd C. Reynolds of Southampton, NJ, 8 nieces and nephews, several aunts and uncles and numerous cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Thursday, from 10:00 - 1200 PM at the Fellowship Alliance Chapel 199 Church Rd. Medford, NJ where a Funeral Service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy Marie's wishes were for memorial donations to be either Love in Action Ministry or the Care & Comfort Ministry C/O F.A.C. 199 Church Rd. Medford, NJ 08055 or to Samaritan Hospice 5 Eves Dr. Suite 300 Marlton, NJ 08053.
