Riviello, James Sr. on December 14, 2001 of Manahawkin, formerly of Maple Shade age 61 years. Beloved husband of Mary Anne (nee Gabage). Devoted father of Christina Carroll and her husband the late Edward, Angela Hildebrandt and her husband Bill R. and James Jr and his wife Jean Marie. Loving grandfather of Kristin. Prior to retirement, Mr. Riviello was owner of Ernesto's Tavern in Maple Shade. He is a US Army Veteran of the Cuban Missle Crisis. Member of the Sons of Italy and Jay Cees both of Maple Shade. Rizzuto, Philip Francis "Scooter"

Philip Francis Rizzuto Yankee legend, 89 Philip Francis Rizzuto, 89, of Hillside, a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame, passed away Monday, Aug. 13, 2007. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced by a spokesperson for the family. Mr. Rizzuto, who was born in Brooklyn and had resided in Hillside since 1945, was signed by the N.Y. Yankee organization in 1937 before being drafted into the U.S. Navy during World War II. He served overseas in the South Pacific and returned to the Yankees at the end of the war to finish what would be a 54-year tenure with the team as a player and broadcaster. After his playing days at shortstop, which were highlighted by winning the Most Valuable Player Award in the American League in 1950, he continued his career in radio and television broadcasting from 1956 to 1996. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1994. Mr. Rizzuto was the oldest living N.Y. Yankee Hall of Famer. He was the beloved husband of 64 years to Cora A. Rizzuto (nee Esselborn), the devoted father of Patricia A. Rizzuto, Cynthia A. Rizzuto, Penny A. Yetto and her husband, Allan, and Philip F. Rizzuto Jr. and his wife, Ann, the loving grandfather of Jennifer Rizzuto Congregane and Margaret Carolina Rizzuto, the dear brother of the late Alfred Rizzuto, Rose Esatto and May Stoehr, the cherished brother-in-law of Walter Esselborn and Florence Polizzi, and is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Robbins, Rose Marie

ROSE MARIE ROBBINS went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 9, 2003 at the Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly, NJ. She was 39 yrs. of age. Born in Medford, NJ, she has resided in Maple Shade, NJ for the past 5 years moving there from Mt. Holly, NJ. She was a Cashier and Stocker for K Mart in Moorestown, NJ. She is the beloved mother of Adam and Ashley of Maple Shade, NJ and the daughter of Particia Ann Robbins (Nee Bowker). She is also survived by her several brothers, sisters and uncles and aunts. Robbins, Edwin

ROBBINS, on February 27, 2002, Edwin of Marlton, formerly of Whiting, Cape May and Camden. Age 93. Devoted husband of 65 years of the late Emily A. Robbins (nee Wright). He is survived by his beloved daughter, Barbara and son in law, Thomas Dunlap of Marlton. Also surviving are 4 grandsons, Dr. Thomas Dunlap, Jr. of Joplin, Missouri, Paul and Edwin Dunlap, both of Shamong and Craig Dunlap of Marlton, 1 granddaughter, Holly Arechavala of Marlton and 3 great grandchildren, Kellie and Matthew Dunlap and Daniel Arechavala, all of Marlton. Born in Camden, Edwin was the son of the late John and the late Myrtle Robbins. He is the brother of the late Howard Robbins and the late Margaret Busa. Mr. Robbins was one of the oldest members of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #322, Winslow and the retired Captain of Camden Fire Dept. He was also a member of the Marlton Elks Lodge #2514 and Matthew Purnell VFW Post 518, Camden. He was a WW II Veteran of the Navy Seabees serving in the South Pacific. Roberts, Mary E.

Mary E. Roberts, 67, of Sea Isle City, died on Thursday, March 18, 2004 at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Philadelphia to the late John J. and Elizabeth Anne (Edwards) Phelan. She was a real estate agent for Hoey Real Estate, Inc. She was a member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church; she enjoyed gardening, reading, giving and attending parties, the beach and her cats, Mikey and Alvin.

She lived here since 1993, moving from Perkasie, PA.

She is survived by her son, Edward F. of Cape May; a daughter, Liz Gorman and husband, Glenn; her step-mother, Betty Phelan of West Chester, PA; a brother, Thomas Phelan of Warminster, PA; a close family friend, Jeff Minnich of Arlington, VA and a host of relatives and friends.

Roberts, Margaret M

MARGARET M. ROBERTS, 88 of Medford, NJ died Jan. 19, 2010. She was born in Oak Park, Illinois. She was a homemaker and a member of the League of Women Voters and the Jersey Skiters Ski Club. She enjoyed bicycling weekly with a group of women friends well into her 8th decade. She was a member of Moorestown Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends. She is survived by her husband Malcolm Roberts; sons Tom and David; daughters Nancy, Becky and Karen; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Dorothy Smith of Jamestown, Ohio and her sister-in-law Adah Manby of Leaf River, Illinois. Loving father of Mary Ellen 'Mimi' Marnell (Michael), William J. Robertson (LuAnn), Ann Marie Arnot (Thomas), Edmund J. Robertson (Janet), John F. Robertson (Colleen) and James M. Robertson (Mary). Devoted grandfather of 14 loving grandchildren and dear brother of Patricia Moser, Regina Savago and the late John 'Jack' Robertson. Mr. Robertson was a Veteran of the US Navy and a graduate of Siena University earning a B.S. in Economics and a graduate of the Stonier School of Banking (Rutgers University) and Columbia University earning a Master's Degree in Commercial Bank Management. Professionally, he was president of many banks Kingston Trust Co. Kingston NY, Key Bank, Albany NY, and Hudson United Bank, Union City NJ and a Professor of Economics at Ulster County College. Mr. Robertson's career position was President of Statewide Bancorp, Toms River, NJ. Most recently, he was the owner of Manor Financial Services, Mt. Laurel NJ. A highly involved community man, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Boys Club and lions Club in Kingston NY, the American Bankers Association, Presidents Club of Siena University and a Charter Member of the Metedeconk National Golf Club. Robertson, Wilhelmina Waterman

WILHELMINA WATERMAN ROBERTSON, 70, of SEA BRIGHT, died Thursday, March 6, at home. Born in Eindhoven, Netherlands, she had lived in Rumson for 15 years before moving to Sea Bright.

She was predeceased by her husband, John A. Robertson, in 2001. Surviving are a stepson and his wife, Kevin F. and Angela Robertson of Long Branch; a stepdaughter, Patricia Connelly of California; three sisters, Joanna V. Burg-T, and Bernedina Musters of Netherlands, and Lydia Golay of Switzerland; and six grandchildren.

Family and close friends may gather for a graveside service at 10 a.m. Friday at the Old First Methodist Church cemetery, West Long Branch. Donations are requested to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad St., Shrewsbury, NJ 07702. Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch, is in charge of arrangements.

Robeson, Lesley W.

Lesley W. Robeson, 85, of Swainton, died on Thursday, June 29, 2006 at home. Born in Fall River, MA to the late Samuel and Marian (DuBois) Wood, she moved here in 1990 from Moorestown. She was a member of the Avalon Garden Club and Avalon Women's Civic Club. She was formerly active as an officer in the Moorestown Women's Club. Her hobby was decorative painting.

Mrs. Robeson is survived by her son, Philip B. Robeson, Jr. and his wife, Joanne of Swainton; her daughter, Lesley Binter and her husband, Fred of Moorestown; her sister, Lois Lawson; her brothers, Richard Wood, Brent Wood, and Samuel "Bud" Wood; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip B. Robeson, Sr. in 1987.

Robinson, Beverly J.

Beverly J. (Yearick) Robinson, age 61, of Wildwood Crest, passed away on March 13, 2004 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Beverly was born in Chester, PA and moved to Wildwood Crest in 1954. She was a graduate of Wildwood High School and attended Goldey Beacom College. She worked as a secretary for Corson and Hand before becoming a full-time mother. Bev enjoyed painting, tennis, spending time with her "girls' club" friends, and especially being with her family.

Bev is survived by her devoted husband and childhood sweetheart, Blaine Robinson; her father, Newt Yearick; her son, Gary; her daughter, Catherine Toland and her husband, William; her beloved grandchildren, Brittany and Bryan Toland; and her brother in law, Lee Robinson and his wife, Corinne, all of Wildwood Crest. She is also survived by her aunt, Jane Elliott of Wilmington, DE; her sister in law, Eleanor Robinson; and her niece, Christina Covarrubias and her husband, Carlos of Eldora. She was predeceased by her mother, Betty Yearick and her mother in law, Eleanor Robinson.

A private funeral service will be held at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, followed by interment in Cold Spring Presbyterian cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Bev's memory be made to the Love of Linda Cancer Fund, P.O. Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ 08260.

Robinson, Beverly J.

Beverly J. Robinson, nee Yearick, 61, of Wildwood Crest, NJ, passed away on March 13, 2004, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Robinson, Helen Doris

Helen Doris Robinson, 74, of Dennisville, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2003 at her home. She was born in North Wildwood and was a lifetime resident here. She was a member of Dennisville United Methodist Church. She was a past member of the Northwest Dennis Community Club and the Dennisville Fire Auxiliary.

Mrs. Robinson is survived by her husband of 52 years, Franklin; her six daughters, Holly Ann Robinson, Vickie Lee Trout and her husband, Ronald, Kelly D. Creamer and her husband, Robert, Tracy Lynn Robinson, Jacqueline Bouvier Justice and her husband, John, and Heidi Hope Conforto and her husband, Michael, all of Dennis Township; her four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren; and one step great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Union cemetery, South Dennis. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dennisville United Methodist Church.

Robinson, Dorothy K.

Dorothy K. Robinson, 91, an Ocean View, NJ resident since 1931, died on Wednesday, February 25, 2004, at the Lutheran Home. She was born in Philadelphia, PA. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and the Mite Society.

She is survived by a daughter: Doris R. Seymour and her husband, Richard, of Cape May Court House; son: Charles M., III of Delaware; grandchildren: Diane Rinier and Steven M. Seymour of Cape May Court House, NJ, Susan Hoban of Villas, NJ, and Richard M. Seymour and wife, Jeanne, of Ocean View; great grandchildren: Melissa Fowler, John, Jason, and Andrea Hoban; and great great granddaughter: Kayla Cranmer.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2004, at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church, Rte. 9, Ocean View, NJ, where friends may call at 10:00 AM. Interment in the Calvary Baptist Church cemetery.

Robinson, Phillip H.

Robinson, Phillip H.on Jan. 24, 2002 of Marlton age 65 beloved husband of Theresa H. (nee Andruszka). Survived by 1 son, Daniel P. of Baltimore, Md, 3 daughters, Donna & Charles Ward of Mantua, Kathleen & Daniel DelPrato & Carol & Carl Jarvis, both of Marlton, 2 brothers and 1 sister, Timothy of Charlotte NC and David and Jill, both of Monroe NC and 7 grandchildren. Mr. Robinson was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in 1954 and LaSalle Univ. in 1973 and a veteran of the ARMY. He was an engineer for the Federal Government working at RCA and Lockheed Martin and retired in December 2000 after 40 yrs. He was an active member of the Lake n Woods Camping Resort, Lancaster Cty PA and an active Internet Chess Club Player (‘Uncle Phil’). Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Mass Saturday Feb 2 at 10am at St. Joan of Arc Church, Marlton. The family will greet friends following the mass. Burial of cremains will be private. Robinson, Betty C.

Robinson, Betty C., age 84, of Ocean View, NJ, died on Saturday, January 19, 2002, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House, NJ. She was born in Camden, NJ and lived here sixty years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother who loved her family dearly.

She was an active member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She was a past president of the NJ State Baptist Youth Fellowship; treasurer of the West New Jersey Calvary Baptist Women; served as chairperson of the White Cross for the Calvary Baptist Church Mite Society and the American Baptist Women and had taught Sunday School. She was a retired kindergarten teacher for the Dennis Township Elementary School where she taught for eighteen years. She also drove school bus for many of her students that she taught after bringing them to school. She was a 1939 graduate of the Glassboro State Teachers College receiving a BS degree in elementary education K to 8th grade. Mrs. Robinson had been a volunteer at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital and the Cape May County Musuem and Historical Society. She is survived by her husband, George H., who was married to on December 20, 1943; four daughters: Sue Smith and husband, George of Allenwood, NJ; Judy Thompson and husband, Paul of Cape May Court House; Gayle Thomas and husband, Albert of Ocean View and Deborah Jones and husband, Harrison of Langley, WA; a sister, Ruth Morton of Florida; two sisters-in-law: Dorothy Robinson of Ocean View and Anna Corson of Cape May Court House; six grandchildren: Scott, Shannon, Tara, Derrek, Jaime and Beth and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2002, at 11 am at the Calvary Baptist Church, Shore Road, Ocean View where friends may call at 10 am. Interment will be in the Church cemetery. ROBINSON, Hazel L. (nee Green). On February 13th peacefully with her daughters and Annette by her side. Of Westville, NJ. Age 96. Beloved wife of the late Harry Robinson. Loving mother of Nancy Martin of Haddonfield, NJ and Linda Gibson of Mt. Laurel, NJ. Caring grandmother of Marcy and her husband Stephen Melendes, Lauren and her husband Brian Carter and Kristen and her husband Jeffery Barry. Dear great grandmother of Jack and Craig Melendes, Avery, Timothy and Elizabeth Carter, and Abigayle Barry. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Wednesday February 18th from 9-10 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt.73 and Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. A funeral service will be held Wednesday 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment Eglington cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.

Robinson, David Steven

David Steven Robinson age 38, of Eatontown died Saturday, October 4, at St. Barnabas Hospice Center at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was a Sergeant First Class in the US Army for 20 years.

Born in Fort Rucker, Alabama he had lived in Georgia before coming to Eatontown 5 years ago. He was predeceased by his father Larry Robinson.

Surviving are his dear wife, Kelli Robinson; 3 sons, Jacob, Aaron, and Erik; his beloved mother, Diane Jones; his brother, Stephen Robinson; his sister, Tracy Walker and his grandfather, Warren Robinson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 8, at the Fort Monmouth Post Chapel, Eatontown from 1pm to 3 pm followed by a Mass to begin at 3 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Robinson Fund through Mara Bryant at 732-427-0077 or flowers may be sent to the Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch who is handling the arrangements.
