RUBIN, on August 31, 2003, Murray of Marlton, NJ, formerly of Cinnaminson, NJ. Age 79. Beloved husband of Beatrix Rubin (nee Marber). He is survived by 1 sister, 2 brothers & many loving friends from Personally Yours Senior Services. He is the father of the late Debbie Rubin. Mr. Rubin resided in Cinnaminson for 19 years before moving to Marlton in 1996. He was an illustrator at Lakehurst Naval Base, Lakehurst NJ and retired in 1986 after 12 years of employment. Services are private and at the convenience of the family.

JAMES RUBISCH of Edgewater Park, NJ, passed away on Monday, June 9th, 2008 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 86. Born in Colver, PA, he is the son of the late Charles and Mary Rubisch and has resided in Edgewater Park for the past 48 yrs, moving there from Colver, PA. He is a retired Sales Associate with Pomeroy's in Willingboro, NJ, a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Beverly, NJ and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Resurrection Council 3831. He is also survived by his Granddaughters Lisa Kerner and her husband Ian, Amy Rubisch and Leslie Rubisch and her fiancée Erik Ekroth, his Great Grandsons Owne & Beckett Kerner, his brothers George of Ebensburg, PA, John of Doylestown, PA and Joe of Picayune, Miss and his sister Margaret Balko of West Newton, PA. On December 6, 2009. Age 64. A native of Bayonne, raised in Staten Island, former resident of Piscataway, current resident of Woolwich, NJ. Eternally loved husband of Virginia (Maroulakos) Rucinski. Loving father of Bojana Rucinski. Also dearly loved by Virginia's mother Mary G. Maroulakos. Dear brother of Loretta Bodson, Robert Rucinski, Eleanor Brown, Pauline Price, Josephine Klass, Adele Norton, Mary Newport and Robert Richards. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Vincent was a graduate of NJIT, and served as a Boatswain's Mate in the US Navy. He worked as a Principle Engineer for Carborundum, a division of BP, and in recent years worked side by side with his wife Virginia in her private law practice. MICHELLE S. RUEL, of Burlington Twp, NJ, lost her 6 year battle with brain cancer on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at the Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Center in Mt. Holly, NJ. She was 32. Born in Willingboro, NJ, she is the Beloved Daughter of Gary & Patricia Ruel of Burlington Twp. and the Loving Sister of Amber Tappe and her husband Ernie of Ewing, NJ. She is also survived by her 2 nieces and nephew Brielle, Gianna and Jordan Tappe all of Ewing, her Maternal Grandmother Rona Miller of Windsor Locks, CT, her Paternal Grandmother Marie Ruel of Marlton, NJ, her 6 aunts Deborah Miller of Enfield, CT, Brenda Friedrich of Enfield, CT, Marie Alford of Windwor Locks, CT, Judy Ziemnicki of Enfield, CT, Nancy Bridges of Marlton, NJ and Susan Ruel of Medford, NJ, her Uncle Thomas Miller of Saudi Arabia and also 11 First Cousins and countless Friends and loved ones. WILLIAM H. RUEL, passed away on Friday, January 9th, 2004 at the Care One @ Evesham in Marlton, NJ. He was 77 years of age. Born in Holyoke, MA, he resided in Medford for the past 12 yrs. formerly residing in Sickerville, Haddonfield and Willingboro, NJ. He is the retired Owner of Ruel Construction in Mt. Laurel, NJ which he operated from 1976 to 1991. He is a member of St. Mary of the Lakes Church in Medford, the Medford Lakes Country Club, the VFW Post 4914 in Willingboro and the Knights of Columbus Council 5337 of Willingboro, NJ. He is the beloved husband of Marie T. (Nee Gagnon) Ruel of Medford, NJ and the loving father of Gary W. Ruel and his wife Patricia of Moorestown, NJ, Nancy M. Bridges of Marlton, NJ and Susan M. Ruel of Medford, NJ. He is also survived by his 3 Granddaughters Michelle S. Ruel, Amber M. Ruel and Nicole M. Bridges. He is the Father-in-law of the late Gerald H. Rufolo, Joseph P.

Joseph P. Rufolo age 57 of West Long Branch died Monday at home.

He was the postmaster of Rahway, Colonia and Clark for the last 18 years and was employed by the US Postal Services for 38 years, retiring in July of 2002. He was a member of the National Assoc. of Postmasters of US, where he held the office of state president for 2 terms. He also served as Postmaster Representative for fellow postmasters in the Northeast area for the last 15 years. He was active in the Rahway City Downtown Partnership Assoc. He was instrumental in instituting a NJ NAPUS scholarship for relatives of New Jersey Postmasters and the scholarship has been renamed in his honor.

Born in Newark, he had lived in Clark before coming to West Long Branch 11 months ago. He was a parishioner of Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch.

Surviving are his wife Rachel Nappi Rufolo, 2 sons, Anthony and Joseph, a daughter Annmarie Rufolo, his parents Joseph and Rosemary Birch Rufolo, 4 stepchildren Joseph, Roger and Gerard Bryson, and Maria Bryson Whealan, and 4 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, Third and Franklin Aves, Long Branch on Tuesday 7-9 pm and Wednesday 2-4 and 7- 9 pm. The funeral will be on Thursday September 26, at 9 am from the funeral home followed by a 10 am Mass at Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C. Church. Entombment will be at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. Rugg, Melvin M.

Melvin M. Rugg, 81, of Lakewood, formerly of Oakhurst, died Friday, May 18, 2007 at Manchester Manor, Lakehurst. Melvin was a signal department supervisor for New Jersey Transit, formerly New Jersey Central Railroad for 40 years retiring in 1986. He served his country honorably during WWII with the US Navy and was a parishioner of St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church, West Long Branch. Born and raised in Red Bank, he lived in Oakhurst for many years prior to moving to Lakewood 4 years ago.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Nellie D. Tripaldi Rugg, his loving son and loving daughter-in-law, Melvin M., Jr., and Joanne Rugg, Tinton Falls; a brother, Robert Rugg, Shrewsbury; a sister, Doris Wilson, New Mexico; niece, Ann Johnson, California; nephew Charles Cusano, Missouri; and a special family member, Gaetano Ciancio, Long Branch.

Visitation will be held on Monday May 21, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., on corner of Third Ave, Long Branch. Funeral Tuesday, 9:30 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Jerome R.C. Church, West Long Branch. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel cemetery, West Long Branch.

RUGGIERO, Lauren E.

On July 17, 2003 of Marlton. Age 16. Beloved daughter of Loretta (Hayden) Ruggiero and Matthew Ruggiero. Dear sister of Ashley. Devoted granddaughter of Eleanor Ruggiero. Lauren will be missed by her many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ruggiero, Alberto Joseph

Alberto Joseph Ruggiero, 92, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland. Born in Newburgh, NY to the late Giuseppe and Angelina (DeSantis) Ruggiero, he moved here 27 years ago. He was a master mason and bricklayer and a contractor with Union Local 5 in New York. His work is featured at the Cape May County Historical Society. A Navy Veteran of World War II, he was an active member of St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church, St. Vincent de Paul Society, and the Cape May County Charismatic Prayer Group at St. Ann's Church. He was a volunteer fireman for the Vails Gate Volunteer Fire Company and a member of the Knights of Columbus in Newburgh, NY.

Mr. Ruggiero is survived by his children, Albert (Butch) Ruggiero of Tennessee, John A. Ruggiero of Madisonville, TN, Anita Faas of Florida, and DeeDee Ruggiero of Cape May Court House; his step daughter, Debra Zwart of Montgomery, NY; his brother, James Ruggiero of Newburgh, NY; his sisters, Theresa Lynn of Trenton and Louise Inzerra of Newburgh, NY; eight grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be said on Friday, August 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth's Church, Route 47, Goshen, where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. RUGGIO, Rose Marie

"Nanny" Age 88, of Glendora, NJ. Went home to be with the Lord Monday, December 10, 2007. She was born in Philadelphia. She will be deeply missed and warmly remembered by all whose lives she touched. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and visiting with her neighbors at Glendora Court. She was predeceased by her husband John B. Ruggio. She will be greatly missed by her sister Jean Morello of Somerdale, NJ, her sons John Ruggio, his wife Nora and son Jason, and R. Robert Ruggio and his wife Donna. ARIA RAE RUGGLES (nee Oberman) of Haddonfield, NJ, passed away suddenly on Thursday July 26th, 2007 at the Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, NJ. She was 24 yrs. of age. Born in Camden, NJ, she is a former resident of Audubon, Southampton & Cherry Hill, NJ. She is graduate of Baptist High School. Aria is the beloved & beautiful wife of Ryan N. Ruggles and the perfect & loving mother of Maezie and Maximilian. PAULINE R. RUMBOS (Nee Ambrose), passed away on Friday, December 6, 2002 at the Virtua West Jersey Hospital in Marlton, NJ. She was 73 yrs. of age. Born in Phila., PA., she resided in Marlton for the past 47 yrs. formerly residing in Cape May and Whiting, NJ. She is the wife of the late Nicholas N. Rumbos. A retired Home Maker she was very involved with the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW where she was the Past District 11 President, the Chief of Staff of NJ and a member of the VFW Post 7677 of Medford, VFW Post 6295 of Marlton, and VFW Post 1817 of Burl. CO. She was a volunteer Coordinator for the Evesham Twp. Loyalty Day Parade and a long time member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Marlton, NJ. Born and raised in Staten Island NY, John lived there until moving to South jersey in 1980. He is a graduate of New Dorp H.S. Staten Island, NY. A veteran of the US ARMY WWII, he flew Glider Command over England. John was a retired sanitation worker for the city of New York. An avid gardener, John loved his tomatoes and fig trees and enjoyed the casinos, lottery and especially the NY sports teams. RUSSELL, WILLIAM J. on April 13, 2004 of Marlton, NJ age 72 years. Devoted husband of Roberta (nee Sonni). Loving father of Stephen, John and Patrick Russell and Sharon Thibodeau. Also survived by 9 grandchildren. Mr. Russell was employed by General Electric Financial Services, prior to retirement in 1992. He was a sales representative in the manufacturing and financial service industries for over 40 years. He was formerly active in the Navy Reserves and a member of the Ramblewood Country Club. Also survived by her nephews, Steven Lotz and his wife Antoinette, and Robert Lotz. Hedwig and her husband were the former owners of D.W. Curry's in Old Greenwich, CT. Relatives and friends are invited to the Graveside Service 11:00 AM Saturday February 13, 2010, at Greenwood-Union cemetery, 215 North St., Rye, NY 10580.
