Prospect, Ill., her great niece, Chris Ferrara and her husband Louis of Somerdale, NJ and her great nephew, David Soderstrom and his wife Carolyn of Cherry Hill, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Saturday May 22 from 10:30-11:30 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 Noon at St. Pius X R.C. Church, 344 Kresson Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery, Chews Landing, NJ. Memorial donations may be made in Lillian's name to St. Pius X R.C. Church.

Schellinger, Kenneth D.

Kenneth D. Schellinger, 69, of Green Creek, NJ, died on Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at the home that he was born in to the late C. Newton and Gladys (Howell) Schellinger. He was a Middle Township High School graduate of the Class of 1953. He owned and operated Green Creek Farms, the last dairy farm in Cape May County. He then retired from the Local #172, Heavy and General Laborers Construction Union. He was a lifetime member of the Green Creek United Methodist Church and Sunday School. He was a member of the Cape May County Board of Agriculture; board member of the Cape May County Farmland Preservation.

He is survived by his wife: Catherine nee Harris of 45 years; son: Kenneth, Jr. and wife, Anita of Cape May Court House; daughters: Terri Kohler and husband, Mark of Dennisville, and Stephanie Kocher of Green Creek; brother: Leland and wife, Beverly; sister-in-law: Loretta Schellinger; grandchildren: Nicole and Mark Kohler, Jr., of Dennisville, Katlin and Gary Kocher of Green Creek; Kenneth Newton Schellinger of Cape May Court House; and seven step grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his older brothers: Millard and Ralph.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2004 at 12:00 PM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may call 10:00 to 11:45 AM. Interment will be in the Church cemetery, Green Creek, NJ. Memorials may be made to the Green Creek United Methodist Church, 63 Rte. 47 South, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

Schepacarter, John P.

SCHEPACARTER, On April 22, 2004, John P. of Mt Laurel, NJ. Formerly of Folsom, PA. Age 65. Beloved husband of Dolores (nee Kelly) Loving father of Charles Zierle

And his wife Patricia of Collingdale, PA, and Joseph Zierle of Mt Laurel, NJ. Devoted grandfather of Ashley, Chuckie and Dorothy Joy. Mr. Schepacarter was a Clerk at the US Postal Service in Philadelphia for over 45 years. He was a member of Marlton Assembly of God, the Tricia Meadows Association in Mt Laurel, and the Ace Coaster Club. Schibell, Margaret Williams

Margaret Williams Schibell, age 88 of Long Branch died Friday, April 9, 2004 at St. Barnabas Hospice Center at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Long Branch she had been a life resident. She was predeceased by her husband John C. Schibell in 1969 and a granddaughter Liza Miller in 1989.

Surviving are a son Jack Schibell of California; 2 daughters, Ann Miller and Barbara Schibell, both of Long Branch; and 3 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., corner of Third Ave, Long Branch on Monday, April 12, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral, Tuesday 9:30am from the funeral home with a service to begin at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport.

SCHIEBER, FREDERICK W.

On November 4, 2002, lifelong resident of Pennsauken, NJ; age 71 years.

Beloved husband of Evelyn L. (nee Slim); Dear son in law of Viola Slim ; Dear Brother in law, Arthur Slim and his wife, Marleen; Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Prior to retirement, Mr. Schieber was employed at Pennsylvania Railroad and Conrail for 43 years. He was a Marine Corp Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a life member of the Highland Fire Company in Pennsauken and a member of the Indian Mills Deer Club.

Schildge, Catherine Ann

CATHERINE TALERICO EVERNHAM SCHILDGE, 55, of OCEAN TOWNSHIP, died Monday at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. She was a graduate of Brookdale Community College, where she received her RN. She then received her BSN at Monmouth University in 1990. During her career as a registered nurse, she worked at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank in various departments, including the Endoscopy Department for four years. She was also once the supervisor of the obitpix Medical Surgical Department and the Outpatient Department along with being the administrative assistant of nursing at Riverview. Born in Long Branch, she lived in Neptune before moving to Ocean Township 12 years ago.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Donald B. Evernham, in 1985; a daughter, Amy Evernham, in 1997; and her parents, Joseph and Jeannie Lynn Talerico. Surviving are her husband, Richard L. Schildge; a daughter, Bridget DeNofa of Philadelphia; a brother, Joseph A. Talerico Jr. of Belmar; three sisters, Lynda Talerico of Eatontown, Mary Talerico of Wall, and Diana Talerico of Eatontown; two grandchildren, Danny and Alyssa; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Damiano Funeral Home, Third and Franklin avenues, Long Branch. A funeral will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Hamilton cemetery, Neptune. Schlenger, Shirley Ann

Shirley Ann Schlenger, 53, of Clermont, NJ died on Saturday, April 19, 2002, in the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House, NJ. Born and lived here, she has been a lifetime Cape May County resident. She was a member of the South Seaville United Methodist Church, was an avid Bingo player, and a past member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Cape May Court House VFW.

She is survived by her husband Alvin C.; her 3 sons: Eric, Norman, and Avery, and 2 daughters: Lori and Tina, all of Clermont; her parents: Clarence and Shirley Smith of Clermont; her 3 brothers: Frank of Woodbine, Clarence of Sea Isle City, and Richard of Texas; her sister Marion of Cape May County; and 3 grandchildren. Funeral Service 3:00 PM Thursday, May 2, 2002, at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ, where relatives and friends may call after 2:00 PM. Interment in Union cemetery, South Dennis.

Schlenger, Emma Marie

Emma Marie Schenger, 93, of Clermont, died on Friday, December 13, 2002 at home. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and lived in Stone Harbor prior to moving here.

She is survived by two sons, Alvin C. and Erwin H. of Clermont; a sister, Ida Stewart of Philadelphia, PA; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Union cemetery, South Dennis, NJ.

Schlindwein, Joseph L.

Joseph L. Schlindwein "Joe the Pro", passed away on Sunday, February 22nd, 2004 at the Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly, NJ. He was 72 yrs. of age. Born in Moorestown, NJ, he is the son of the late Joseph and Eve Schlindwein and has lived in Medford Lakes for the past 40 yrs. moving there from Moorestown, NJ. A retired Golf Professional from Medford Lakes Country Club, he was the pro there for an unprecedented 40 years until his retirement in 2000. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corp who served during the Korean War. He is the beloved husband of Sandy (Nee Weber) Schlindwein and the loving Father of JoAnn, Sally, Betsy, Amy and Joseph. He is also the Father-in-law of Bob & Timmy, the brother of Flossie, Eleanor, Mary, Liz and Sam and the Grandfather of Alexis, Mariah, Abigail, Jessica and Joseph. He is the brother of the late Anna. Schloendorn, William E.

William E. Schloendorn, of Glassboro, formerly of Mt. Laurel died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2002 at Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Cherry Hill.

He is survived by his wife Clara (nee Buckousis) of 32 years; three sons, William E. IV, Frank J., and Glynn R; one daughter Heather M. and one sister Barbara Sayanski.

Schlosman, Michael

Michael Schlosman, 39, of West Palm Beach, FL, formerly of North Wildwood, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2003 at his home. He was born in Philadelphia and graduated from Wildwood High School before moving to Florida.

Michael is survived by his mother, Dorothy Schlosman of Sewell, NJ; his sister, Renee Seddon of Cape May Court House; and his brother, Robert Schlosman of Reading, PA. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert J. Schlosman, Sr. on June 29, 1998 and his brother, Albert J. Schlosman, Jr. on February 20, 1998.

Funeral Liturgy will be said on TFriday February 21, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Augustine's Church, 464 Ford Street, Bridgeport, PA, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Augustine's cemetery. Schmidt, J. Stephen

J. STEPHEN SCHMIDT passed away at the age of 61 on Saturday, July 24th, 2004 at the Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly, NJ. A resident of Medford, NJ, he worked for American Water Works in Voorhees, NJ as the Dir. of Environmental Compliance. Prior to his 17 years with A.W.W. he dedicated 25 years to the D.E.R. in Harrisburg, PA. Steve graduated from Oberlin University and was an avid member of the Audubon Society and the All Faith Chapel. "He carried out his promise to God, to Love and to make the world a better place." In this capacity he exhibited exuberance, caring, thoughtfulness and a passion for life that was unequivocally, Steve. His legacy envelops the unity of two families - his only child by birth, Heather R.S. Wikerson and her husband Sean, Steve's brother Dave Schmidt, and Steve's children by marriage Joshua L. Wetzel and Jessica C. Staschak and her husband Robert. Steve's love for his wife Debbie reached across the oceans and above the snow capped mountains to forever join these hearts together. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Tuesday, from 10:00 - 12:00 PM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd. Schmidt, Frederick J.

SCHMIDT, on November 13, 2001, Frederick J. Formerly of Maplewood, NJ. Age 98. Mr. Schmidt was a teacher at Maplewood Jr. High School, Rahway High School, Plainfield High School, and Egg Harbor High School. He graduated from Dickinson College with a BS degree and received his Master’s Degree from Duke University. He was Treasurer of South Orange Maplewood Education Association for most of the years that he taught there. Husband of the late Kathryn C. Schmidt. Beloved father of Susan McCracken of South Yarmouth, Mass and Mary Ann Preen of Barrington, NJ. Brother of Mary Emerich of Reading, PA. Also survived by 6 grandchildren: Reed, Curtis, Jeanine, Jennifer, Kathryn, and George, and 5 great grandchildren: Shannon, Eric, Trevor, R. Jacob, and Nathan. Schocket, Mary E.

Mary E. Schocket age 83 of Long Branch died Tuesday, February 3, 2004, at home. She was a salesperson at Buy-Rite Linoleum before retiring. Born in Lafayette, Indiana she was a life resident of the shore area. She was predeceased by her Jacqueline Schwacke in January of this year and a brother, William Schwacke. Surviving her are three daughters, Terri and Jackie Flood, both of Long Branch and Patricia Martin of CA; 5 granddaughters, of which one she raised, Melissa Braunschweig of N.C. and several great grandchildren.

All services will be private. At the family's request, donations can be made to St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Monmouth Medical Center, 300 Second Ave., CW6, Long Branch, NJ 07740. Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., Long Branch is in charge of arrangements.

Schofield, Earl Bernard

Earl Bernard Schofield Jr., 85 of Franklinville, NJ died Friday at the Gloucester Manor Heath Care Center, Sewell, NJ.

Born in Philadelphia, PA; he lived in Franklinville for the past 18 years.

Earl was a welder working for Merritt Equipment Company in Portland, Oregon retiring in 1977.

Mr. Schofield was a veteran of the US Naval Reserve, he served during WWII.

He was a member of the 3rd Order of Mount Carmel in Portland, Oregon.

Surviving are is beloved wife Naomi A. (nee Spencer); a daughter Joan E. Bloomberg of Vancouver, WA; 4 Step-sons John C. Kozlowski, Frank I. Kozlowski, Michael S. Kozlowski, and Vincent L. Kozlowski, all of Franklinville, NJ; also a brother George B. Schofield of Lake Oswego, OR and 6 grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 9:30AM Wednesday at the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, 420 South Main Street, Williamstown, where family and friends may call after 8:30. Interment Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.

Scholtz, Edward

Edward Scholtz, age 81 of Oakhurst died Monday, March 29, 2004 at home. He was an Army medic during World War II. He was recalled to active duty during the Korean War and transferred to the Air Force were he spent the next 20 years managing military clubs. Upon retirement in 1967 he accepted the post of club officer at Lakehurst Naval Air Station, were he stayed until 1972. For the next 20 plus years, he spent in retirement. He kept himself busy as a volunteer at Monmouth Medical Center in various posts. He was very active in the local senior citizen organizations and he also ran many senior bus trips. He received numerous awards for his volunteer work such as the Monmouth County Volunteer of the Year, Monmouth Medical Clara Field Award and the Monmouth Park Community Service Award.

He was a parishioner of St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church, West Long Branch. Born in Newark, he lived in South Dakota before moving to Oakhurst in 1967. He was predeceased by his wife Wilma G. Wickmen Scholtz in 2000. Surviving are a son Edward of Oceanport; a daughter, Barbara Miller of Morganville; three grandchildren, Kimberly Kennedy, Paul Miller and Alexandra Scholtz; two great grandchildren, Sean and Rhiannon; a brother Robert of California and two sisters Hilda Schmidt of Mountainside and Elizabeth Preusse of Wayside. Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third), Long Branch on Thursday, April 1 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral, Friday, 8:30 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 9:30 am at St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church, West Long Branch. Entombment Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge. Schonewolf, Shirley

Shirley Schonewolf on 9/30/2002 of Pennsauken age 72 years. She was beloved wife of the late, Ernest and is survived by four sons, Ernest, Joseph, Michael and John and one daughter, Linda Slusher; Loving grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 9. Dear sister of, John and Patricia Cassidy.

SCHROEDER, JEAN (nee Torre), on March 11, 2004 formerly of Red Bank, NJ. Age 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Joseph. Survived by four nieces: Delores Ikonomou, Grace Lunardo, Eliett Ernst and Elaine Casper, three great nieces: Patricia Kilcoyne, Cheryl Hogan and Michelle Davis, and four great nephews: George Barker, Leo Casper, Steven Casper and Mitchell Casper.
