Also survived by her children Robert E. Weaver of Salisberry, MD, Jimmy P. Weaver of Edgewater Park, NJ, Robin E. Weaver of Tampa, FL, and Mark W. Weaver and Larry R. Sole Jr. both of Marlton, NJ, her mother Marian N. (Nee Speaker) White of Cinnaminson, NJ, her brothers Scott White of Cinnaminson, NJ and Allen White of Palmyra, NJ, her sisters Kathy Peterson of Maple Shade, NJ and Beth of Brigantine, NJ and also 5 Grandchildren. She is the mother of the late Patricia Spillman. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Wednesday from 6:00 – 9:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00 – 11:00AM at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd. Sordelline, Salvatore F.

SALVATORE F. SORDELLINE of Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, December 20th, 2003. He was 82 years of age. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he resided in Leisuretowne for the past 1 ½ years moving there from Westampton, NJ where he had lived for 16 years. A Ret. Sanitation Engineer with the Dept. of Sanitation in West Hempstead, NY and a Ret. Platform Supervisor with Railway Express in NY he retired in 1973. He is also a Veteran of WWII serving with the US Navy. He is the beloved husband of Evelyn J. (Nee Bravico) Sordelline and the loving father of Ronnie of Miami, FL, Sally Ann Quigley of Mt. Laurel, NJ and Lynda D'Allessandro of West Hempstead, NY. He is also survived by his 6 Grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Monday 7:00 - 9:00 PM and on Tuesday from 8:30 - 9:30 AM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd. Medford, NJ (Rt. 541). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Holy Eucharist in Tabernacle, NJ. Interment will follow in the B.G. Wm. SOUTHWICK, BEATRICE M. (nee Nicholson)

On January 7, 2003 formerly of Camden, NJ; age 90 years.

Beloved Wife of the late William G.; devoted mother of the late Joan B. Stavoli; loving grandmother of Joseph Stavoli and Terri Chiaradonna; great grandmother of Tony, Joey, Peri and Justin and dear sister of Eleanor and Harold.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service on Friday, 11:00 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Camden Funeral Home, 35th and River Avenue, where there will be a viewing from 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Arlington cemetery, Pennsauken, NJ.

Spalding, Sr., Clifford Roscoe

Clifford R. Spalding Sr., 89, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Thursday at home. He was born in Cape May Court House on December 19, 1911. He was the son of the late Roscoe and Bessie Hughes. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for the NJ State Highway Department.

He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and was a member of the Thurston Elmer Wood Post #198 of the American Legion of Cape May Court House and a member of the Great Commission Baptist Church. He was a man of faith and a believer in Christ and through this he enjoyed gardening and woodcarving.

He is survived by his two sons: Clifford R., Jr. and wife, Carol A. of Cape May Court House and George E. and wife, Virginia of Petersburg, NJ; three grandchildren: Ginger O'Neal, Daniel and Kate Spalding and two great grandchildren: Jessica and Meagan O'Neal. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith in May, 1998.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 11, 2001 at 3 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House where friends may call after 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery, Cape May Court House, New Jeresey.

Spata, Radie

Radie Spata, 89, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died Saturday morning, September 7, 2002, at the Crest Haven Nursing Home. She was born in Prospect Park, NJ, and lived in this area since 1969 moving from Passaic, NJ. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cape May Court House; member and leader of the Crescent Circle; the United Methodist Women; a Red Cross Volunteer for thirteen years; the National AARP; and the Thurston Elmer Wood Post #198 of the American Legion Auxillary of Cape May Court House.

She is survived by two sons: Ronald of Virginia and Dennis and his wife, Barbara of Woodbine and a sister, Ida McDonald of Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, August 9, 2002.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 9, 2002 at 10:00 AM at the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

Spellman, George W.

Spellman, on Tuesday, July 2, 2002 George W. of Voorhees, NJ, formerly of Marlton, NJ age 79 yrs. A retired OS&D Clerk for Mushroom Trucking in Philadelphia, PA, he retired in 1985 after 32 years of service. He is the beloved husband of Lillian H. (Nee Hubert) Spellman of Southampton, NJ. Also survived by his children George Spellman and his wife Patricia of Pine Hill, NJ; James Spellman of Washington, DC; and Diane Spellman Grimes and her husband Kenneth of Medford Lakes, NJ; his brothers Harry Spellman of Pittsburgh, PA and Francis Spellman of San Diego, CA and also 8 grandchildren George, Sean, Kenny, Leanne, Jessica, Andrew, Aaron and Ian. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the St. Edwards Church, 500 Erial Road Pine Hill, NJ, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM. SPENCE, Eleanor S. (nee Selfridge)

On March 11, 2004. Of Haddon Heights. Age 85. Beloved wife of the late James R. Spence. Loving mother of Anne Paul (Bill) of Sugar Land, TX, Barbara Hoffman (Tony) of Blackwood, Cynthia Schmidt (Steve) of Westampton, and Caren O'Shea (Tom) of Haddon Hts. Devoted grandmother of Sarah, Amy, Emily, James, Steven, Leslie, Nora, Jason, Cindy and Tommy. Dear sister of John Selfridge of Lancaster, PA, sister in law of Frank Spence of Englewood, FL.Preceeded in death by her sisters Elizabeth and Ruth Selfridge and Jane Frank. Mrs. Spence served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army during WWII. She was a Registered Nurse at Cooper Hospital in Camden, then a school nurse at Woodrow Wilson High School in Camden for 27 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Collingswood, and was formerly President and Secretary of the PTA in Haddon Twp and a former Girl Scout Leader in Haddon Twp. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing 10-11am Monday at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, Rt 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton. Funeral Service 11am Monday at the Funeral Home. SPERDUTO, ANTHONY

On March 29, 2003, of Pennsauken, NJ; age 80 years.

Beloved husband of the late, Lena (nee Mayo) Devoted father of Steven and his wife Marie and Leonard; Loving grandfather of Arielle and Steven, Jr.; Dear brother of Maria McCuen, Rose Considine, Anna Walton, Frank, George and Edward Sperduto.

Mr. Sperduto was a United States Army Veteran of WWII and a former member of the Sons of Italy.

Sperlak, Sr., Stephen

Stephen Sperlak, Sr., 75, of Rio Grande, NJ, died peacefully Sunday, December 21, 2003, at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1928 to the late Anthony and Mary Ellen Sperlak, the twelfth of fourteen children. Stephen was a respected marine surveyor of commercial fishing vessels. He retired as Lieutenant from the United States Coast Guard, and served in both the United States Navy (USS Franklin D. Roosevelt) and Coast Guard from 1946 to 1977. Serving as Chief Engineer in Cape May, numerous buoy tenders in the Pacific Ocean and as resident inspector in Sun Shipyard in Philadelphia. He spent many years inspecting and certifying USCG lighthouses throughout the East Coast.

During his career in the USCG, Stephen was considered one of their top marksmen; distinguished in both rifle and pistol and qualifying for the 1960 Olympics. He was a life member of the Bayshore Sportsman's Club, an avid aerobatics aviator, a member of the Quiet Birdmen, a Harley Davidson enthusiast and member of the Blue Knights.

Stephen worked on the Blue Ribbon panel for Middle Township Planning Board and served for many years on its' Zoning Board. He supported many causes and charities, and was known by all for his love of "kids".

His is survived by his two sons: Stephen, Jr. and his wife, Jane, of Estell Manor, NJ, and Stanley R. and grandsons, Michael and Joseph of Cape May Court House, NJ, and their mother, Valerie nee Trolli of Cape May, NJ; brother: Stanley of Rocky Ford, CO; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews in the Pittsburgh and Philadelphia areas and his spouse and friend, Patricia Ann nee McGough.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral services on Saturday, December 27, 2003, at 3:00 PM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ, where they may call 2:00 to 3:00 PM. Interment will be private at the Cape May County Veterans cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his name to the American Lung Association, Southern New Jersey Regional Office, 109 South Main St., Suite 18, Cranbury, NJ 08512-3174.

Spina, John

SPINA, JOHN (1913-2004) Beloved husband of 67 years to the recently deceased Cornelia Parker (Pelly) Spina. He was virtually a lifelong resident of Voorhees Twp. (Ashland), moving there after his childhood days in nearby Woodcrest. He lived on Evesham Ave. for 66 years.

He is survived by his daughter Rose Margaret (Peggy) LeClare (Carmen) of Winslow and his sons James (Isabell) of Voorhees and Joseph (Denise) of Clementon, 19 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many good friends. He is also survived by his dear sister, Rose Pelly (also of Voorhees Twp).

He was a Lead Welder at New York Ship during WWII, building the Battleship U.S.S. New Jersey and others. Later he went into Mechanical Contracting, affiliated with Local Union 322, where for several years he was a Trustee for the Health and Welfare and Pension Plans. Later he became a Plumbing Construction Code Inspector for Voorhees Twp., (for 30 years). He also was an Inspector for Cherry Hill, Moorestown, Medford Lakes, Hamilton Twp, Galloway Twp, Egg Harbor Twp and Brigantine.

He had been an elected member of the Voorhees Twp Board of Education and a past member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.

He was an accomplished gardener and Boatsman holding a Captains License. His pride and joy was his 53 foot Chris Craft, "Miss Chris."

He was among the few remaining elders that through hard work and dedication, helped shape this area into what it is today.

He is a member of the Ashland Evangelical Presbyterian Church and a member of Ashland's Oldtimers Group.

John loved being surrounded by family and friends, calling them daily. He was a great influence and Patriarch of the family. He will be sadly missed by many. Cornelia went home to be with the Lord May 7, 2003, today after their brief separation, John joined her to spend eternity together.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday from 10-11:30 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 South and Evesham Rd in Marlton. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment Harleigh cemetery in Camden.

Spitz, Eleanor S.

Eleanor S. Spitz, 74, of South Dennis, NJ, formerly of Stone Harbor, NJ and Media, PA, died on Sunday, August 12, 2001, at her home.

Mrs. Spitz had been a long time member of St. Simeon's By The Sea Episcopal Church in North Wildwood.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Eugene Spitz; her children, Pam Weber, Jane Salotto, Kathryn Tagliaterra, Adrienne Brenz, Mary Spitz, and Eugene Spitz, Jr.; her sister, Alice Zisfein; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2001, at 10:30 AM at St. Simeon's By The Sea Episcopal Church, North Wildwood, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private. Donations may be made to St. Simeon's By The Sea Episcopal Church, 2502 Central Avenue, North Wildwood, NJ 08260.

SPROULE, CAROLE ANN

On May 25, 2002, of Voorhees. Age 65.

Beloved sister of Tony Sproule of Los Angeles, CA and the late Thomas and Rodney Sproule.

Also survived by 11 nephews and nieces and 12 grand nephews and nieces. Miss Sproule was a 1954 Graduate of West Phila. Catholic High School.

She retired as a Supervisor at the Defense Supply Agency (Quartermaster Depot) in Phila. after 40 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing 7-9pm Sunday and 9:15-10:15am Monday at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, Rt 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton. Mass of Christian Burial 11am Monday at Mater Ecclesiae Roman Catholic Church, 261 Cross Keys Rd., Berlin.

Interment Gate of Heaven Cem., Berlin.

REBECCA SPULER (nee Piliere)

On 8/28/2002, of Cherry Hill, NJ; age 78 years.

Beloved wife of, Philip; Devoted mother of, Joan and her husband, Michael Hatrak, Robert Spuler and his wife, Diane and Tim Spuler and his wife, Dina; Loving grandmother of, Ryan, Michael, Santina, Philip, Patricia, Raquel and Olivia; Dear sister of, Netti Marinacci, Lillian Merrifield, Mary Marinacci and John Piliere.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service on Tuesday at 10AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd. Where there will be a visitation from 9AM. Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson. Evening Visitation on Monday from 7PM with a Service at 8 PM at the Funeral Home.

St. John, Gerald

Gerald St. John, 72, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. He was born in Rochester, NY and moved to this area over 50 years ago when he joined the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a drug and alcohol counselor for Cape Counseling. He was a former member of St. Joseph's Church in Sea Isle City. He was a well known local entertainer.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine; his children, Thomas and his wife, Jodie, Kevin and his wife, Shelly, Agnes, John and his wife, Sharon, and Gerald and his wife, Laurianne; his sister, Dorothy; 12 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

Memorial Mass will be said on Friday, June 25, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 43rd and Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City, where friends may call after 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery.
