Ann (NEE: Walsh) Sulligan, age 74, of Brigantine, New Jersey; and formerly of Pennsauken, New Jersey, died Tuesday November 6, 2001 at Atlantic City Medical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Sulligan was a longtime resident of Pennsauken, New Jersey, before moving to the shore.

Prior to retirement, Mrs. Sulligan was employeed at United Jersey Bank.

She was also an active parishioner of St. Stephen's Church in Pennsauken.

She is survived by her husband George J. Sulligan Sr.; one son, George J. Sulligan Jr. and his wife Maureen; two daughters, Maureen and her husband Gary Moyer, and Jocqueline A. and her husband David DeHart; four Grandchildren, Danielle, Davina, Dawn and George; three Great Grandchildren, Joseph, Angelique and Jocelyn.

Relatives and Friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday November 9, 2001 from 9am at the Church of St. Stephen, 6306 Browning Road, Pennsauken, New Jersey, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am.

Entombment will take place at Bethel Memorial Park, Pennsuken.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Church at the above address.

Sullivan, Margaret J.

MARGARET J. SULLIVAN (Nee Harrington), passed away on Monday, January 19th, 2004 at the Staten Island University Hospital, Staten Island, NY.

She was 84 yrs. of age. Born in Bay Ridge - Brooklyn, NY, she resided in Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ for the past 12 yrs. moving there from Bay Ridge - Brooklyn, NY.

The daughter of the late Thomas and Augusta Harrington, she was a member of the Power Wheels in Leisuretowne, the Leisuretowne Breakfast Club and the Deborah Heart & Lung group. She is the wife of the late James F. Sullivan.

She is the Loving mother of Stephen Sullivan and his wife Careen of Basking Ridge, NJ, and Patrick Sullivan and his wife Nilsa of Staten Island, NY.

She is also survived by her two sisters Patricia Wallace and her husband Tom and Maureen Szuman and her husband Bill all of Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ and her 5 Grandchildren Kellie, Stephen Jr., Bevin, Trisha and Ashley.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday from 12:00-1:00 PM at the Holy Eucharist Church 520 Medford Lakes Rd. Tabernacle, NJ where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 PM on Saturday.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Summerville, Joseph A.

SUMMERVILLE, JOSEPH A., Age 80, of the Leisuretown section of Southampton, died suddenly June 26, 2004.

Beloved husband of Carol (nee Frumolt). Loving father of Mark (Kathy) of Medford, Darlene Hammel (Fred) of Mantua, Cara Foy of Deptford, stepfather to Denise Landell (Phil) of Westampton and Kevin Maruska (Wendy) of Montana, thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A Veteran of the US Navy.

He served in the Pacific during WWII as a Seabee.

Joseph was a retired member of Local #19 Sheetmetal Workers out of Pa.

He was a longtime resident of Deptford where he served as Past President of Deptford Midgets.

He also coached Little League and Junior football.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Thursday July 1 from 8:45-10:45 AM at Holy Eucharist Church, 520 Medford Lakes Rd., Tabernacle, NJ.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made in Joseph's name to: The Karl Wienberg Scholarship Fund of Local #19, 1301 S. Columbus, Blvd., Phila., PA 19147.

Suozzo, Edward C.

Edward C. Suozzo, age 76 of Long Branch died Thursday, May 13 at his daughters home in Howell.

He was a self employed salesperson. He served his country honorably in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was a parishioner of Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch.

He was past president of the Long Branch Knights of Columbus, Lodge 336; a member of IAMA, Long Branch; Long Branch BPOE, Lodge # 742 and a Tri-City Little League Baseball Coach.

Born in Long Branch, he was a life resident.

He was predeceased by his wife, Irene Walsh Suozzo in 1997.

Surviving are two sons, Joseph C. Suozzo from Lafayette and Nicholas J. Suozzo of Long Branch; two daughters, Kathleen Houlihan of Howell and Theresa Suozzo of Long Branch; 10 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., corner of Third Ave, Long Branch on Monday, May 17, from 2-4, 7-9 pm.

Funeral Tuesday May 18, 8:00 am from the funeral home with a 9:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C. Church.

Interment will follow at Brigadier Gen. WM C. Doyle Veterans cemetery, Wrightstown.

Memorial donations are requested to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad Street, Shrewsbury, NJ 07702.

Suozzo, Anthony D.

Anthony D. Suozzo, age 96 of Long Branch, died Wednesday, August 20 at home after a short illness. He worked for the NJ State Highway Authority for 36 years before retiring in 1972.

He was a parishioner of Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch, where he served as an usher for many years, and a member of the American Vespucci Society.

He was a champion bowler, bowling with the Phil Daly Bowling Team in Long Branch.

He served during WWII in the US Army, stationed in Europe and North Africa. Born in Lambertville, he was a life long resident of Long Branch.

He was predeceased by his wife, Adele Ippolito Suozzo in 1967, his parents, Anthony Suozzo and Mary Strollo Suozzo; one brother, William Suozzo; four sisters, Jennette Carlidge, Josephine Vincelli, Jennie Attardi and Frances Brasso.

Surviving are two daughters and a son in law, Marion Suozzo of Long Branch and Adele & Kenneth W. Keller of Spring Lake; a brother, Raphael Suozzo and a sister, Vivian Suozzo, both of Tinton Falls and one granddaughter, Katherine Marion Keller. Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, corners of Third and Franklin avenues, Long Branch on Friday, August 22, from 2-4, 7-9 pm.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, 8:00 am at the funeral home with Mass at 9:00 am at Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C. Church, Long Branch.

Interment will be in Mt. Carmel cemetery, West Long Branch.

SUTTON, Fredrick Earl

On May 12, 2004, of Marlton at age 77. Beloved husband of Doris (nee Kuttruf) Loving father of Fredrick Earl Sutton, Jr. (Terry) of Atco.

Devoted grandfather of Joseph Sutton, Jennifer Himes (Randy), Bill Reinhardt (Kellie) and James Reinhardt; great grandfather of Anthony (AJ), Kerrie, Krista and Kathryn.

Dear brother of Charles of Voorhees, Donald of Shamong, and the late Phyllis Berg, Loretta Jacovelli, Raymond and Edward Sutton.

Also survived by his sisters in law Esther Iezzi (Dan), and Eleanore, wife of the late Albert Kuttruf, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Sutton served honorably in the Navy during World War II and Korea.

He formerly worked for the Pine Valley Golf Club, the Pennsylvania Railroad, Haines Block Plant, Lucas Paint Works, Mauriello Construction, and retired from Evesham Township after 25 years of service.

He was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Lindenwold.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing 10-12 noon Monday at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, RT 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton.

Funeral Service 12 noon Monday at the Funeral Home.

Interment Berlin cemetery, Berlin.

Sutton, Jr., Frank H.

Frank H. Sutton, Jr., 86, of Ocean City, died on Saturday, June 1, 2002 at Linwood Convalescent Center.

He was born in Sea Isle City and lived there for 30 years before moving to Cherry Hill for 40 years.

He recently moved to Ocean City. He was a 32nd degree Mason of the Merchantville Lodge, a member of the National Rifle Association, an avid hunter, and a surf fisherman.

He worked as a tool and die maker for the EMP Corp. in Moorestown.

From 1959 to 1964, he worked for RCA on the Ballistic Missile Early Warning System (BMEWS) in Thule, Greenland; Clear, Alaska; and the United Kingdom.

Mr. Sutton is survived by his sons, Frank H. Sutton, III of Pennsauken, and Jonathan Sutton of Madison, WI; his daughters, Anna Marie Sutton of Cherry Hill, and Linda Siegrist of Clermont; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

His wife, Clara "Dolly" L. Sutton, preceded him in death on November 6, 1998.

Funeral services are private.

Swanson, Audrey Marie

SWANSON, Audrey Marie, on July 21, 2004, of Voorhees, formerly of the Strawberry Village section of Tansboro and Cape May Court House. Age 86.

Beloved wife of the late Clyde W. Swanson. She is survived by a son, Richard C. Swanson and his wife, Ruth of CA, and 2 daughters in law, Kathleen Swanson and Suzanne Swanson.

Loving grandmother of Scott & Joan Marie Swanson, Pam Swanson, Greg & Desiree Swanson, John & Jennifer Jaczko, Heather Kmiecik and Andrew & Tressa Kmiecik.

Also survived by 5 great grandchildren, Samantha, Taylor, Hannah, Kaitlyn and Jason.

She is the mother of the late Robert C. Swanson.

Mrs. Swanson was a member of Eastern Star, Moose Lodge & Atco Presbyterian Church and a volunteer for Burdette Tomlin Hospital, Cape May Court House.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Monday from 8-11am at the Bradley Funeral Home, Marlton where a Funeral Service will be held at 11am Monday.

Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill NJ. If desired, donations may be made in Audrey's memory to the New England Center for Children, Inc. 33 Turnpike Road Southborough MA 01772.

Swartz, Patricia Smigo

PATRICIA SMIGO SWARTZ, 62, of EATONTOWN, died Monday at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune after defying cancer for five years.

She received her bachelor of science degree from Monmouth University and received her registered nurse degree from Allentown Hospital School of Nursing, Pennsylvania.

She was a public health nurse with the Long Branch Public Health Association from 1980-1984, a school nurse in Long Branch from 1984-1987, and a continuing care nurse at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township before retiring from Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Newark in 1995.

She was a parishioner of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch.

She was a loving mother, supportive wife and dedicated nurse.

Born in Mahanoy City, Pa., she lived in New York City before moving to Eatontown 36 years ago.

She was predeceased by her parents, William and Frances Andrewsavitch Smigo; a brother, Michael Smigo; a sister, Dorothy Davidson; and a son-in-law, Anthony Saffiotti. Surviving are her husband, Dr. G. Boyd Swartz; three daughters, Judy D'Agostino of Red Bank, Karen Saffiotti of Albertson, N.Y., and Melissa Densmore of Zurich, Switzerland; a brother, William Smigo Jr. of Philadelphia; a sister, Nancy Acanafora of Chester, Va.; and two granddaughters, Allison Saffiotti and Cara D'Agostino.

Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch.

A funeral will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Church, Long Branch.

Interment will be in Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport.

Swatzell, Billy Joe

Swatzell, Billy Joe, of Washington Twp., NJ, died Sunday June 16, 2002 at Our Lourdes Medical Center in Camden, NJ. Age 70 years.

He was born in Knoxville, TN, formerly of Clifton Heights, PA and has been a resident of the area since 1963.

He was an avid fisherman.

Beloved husband of Guinella R. (nee Johnson). Devoted father of Danny Swatzell, Carolyn Johnson, Brenda Johnson and Joanne Kuda.

Dear brother of Janie Simpson.

Loving grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing 6-8 PM Wednesday and 9-10 AM Thursday at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown, NJ.

Funeral services will be held 10 AM Thursday at the funeral home.

Interment Manahath cemetery, Glassboro, NJ.
