ANN DACHISHEN, AGE 86, PERTH AMBOY
Ann (Kolody) Dachishen, 86, of Perth Amboy died Sunday at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy Division.
She was born in Perth Amboy and lived there all her life.
Many years ago she was employed as a seamstress at Perth Amboy Shirt Factory and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union in Perth Amboy.
She was a member of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption in Perth Amboy and served in the Boyan Choir at the church. She was also a member of the Ukrainian National Association Inc. and the Ukrainian Senior Citizens Club.
She was predeceased by her husband, former Perth Amboy police Capt. Charles Dachishen, her parents, Nicholas and Mary (Swallick) Kolody, and two sisters, Olga Kolody Vaneschak and Helen Kolody Ekalo.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Elaine Mauger of Allston, Mass., Barbara Erbach of Florida, John Vaneschak of Delaware, Michael C. Ekalo of Santa Monica, Calif., and Kenneth N. Ekalo of Hollywood, Fla., and two grandnieces, April and Stacey.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at Flynn & Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Service of Divine Liturgy at Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption in Perth Amboy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visiting hours are 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. Parastas will be held at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.

ANNE MOLOUGHNEY, AGE 87, EDISON
Anne Moloughney, 87, of Edison died Friday at her home.
She was born in Newark, and lived in Irvington before moving to Edison in 1964.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harry "Bud" in 1984.
She is survived by her brother, Frank Yavorski; five nieces, Ellen Fitzpatrick, Joan Howland, Susan Moloughney, Diane Fry and Loretta Matheson, and other nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 7 tonight at Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Ave. (Route 27), Metuchen. Donations may be made to Scleraderma Research/Dr. Seibolt, 1 Robert Wood Johnson Place, MEB-556, New Brunswick, NJ 08903.

EDWARD O'CONNELL, AGE 57, EDISON
Edward W. O'Connell, CPA, 57, of Edison died yesterday at his home.
He was born in Jersey City, and lived in Edison for the past 25 years.
He received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from St. Peter's College in 1965, a master of liberal arts degree from Johns Hopkins University in 1967, a master of taxation degree from New York University in 1970, and a master of business administration degree from Rutgers University in 1972.
He was the managing partner for Wiss and Company, LLP, in Livingston since 1992 and had been partner-in-charge of the firm's SEC practice since 1977. Mr. O'Connell had more than 30 years of experience in public accounting. He was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey New York Societies of Certified Public Accountants. Most recently, he served as a trustee of the New Jersey SCPA. As a member of the AICPA, his committee activities included oversight of the AICPA's Senior Technical Committee on auditing matters, its SEC Regulations Committee, its SEC Practice Section Executive Committee and the Auditing Standards Boards SEC Task Force. He was chairman of the AICPA's Task Force to evaluate CPE programs applicable to public companies, chairman of the AICPA's Task Force on the SEC's current Small Business Regulations, and served on the Independence Issues Committee.
He served in the Army as a lieutenant during the Vietnam War and was a Coast Guard-licensed captain.
He was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral in Metuchen.
Surviving are his wife, Diana Sages O'Connell; three sons, Edward G. and his wife, Tammy L., of Dayton, Shawn M. and Kevin J., both of Edison; his mother, Gloria (Hahn) of Edison; his brother, Dennis J. of Dunellen; three sisters, Karen A. and Donna L., both of Edison, and Gloria of Metuchen, and four nieces and nephews, Erin M., Shannon K., Robert and Margaret.
Funeral services will be held at 9:45 a.m. Thursday at Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Ave., Metuchen, followed by a 10:15 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral in Metuchen. Intement will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visitation will be 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.

FREDERICK HESS, AGE 73, EAST BRUNSWICK
Frederick A. Hess, 73, of Hobe Sound, Fla., died Sunday in Stuart, Fla.
Born in North Brunswick, he resided in East Brunswick until moving to Florida in 1987. He worked for Hermann Forwarding in South Brunswick before retiring in 1987. He served in the Merchant Marine as well as the Army during World War II. He was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, the American Motorcycle Association, the Loyal Order of Moose-South River Lodge, and the Ridgeway Property Owners Association.
He was the widower of his loving wife, Josephine Rojewski Hess, who died on Jan. 21, 1993. He was the devoted father of Shelia Smith of Spotswood and Laura Fredricks of East Brunswick. He is also survived by his brother, Donald of North Brunswick; two sisters, Thelma Wosatka of Laurence Harbor and Rosalind Vielhauer of Carlsbad, Calif.; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He will also be lovingly remembered by his friend, Vera Romaker of Hobe Sound.
The funeral will be held at 8:15 a.m. today at Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 9 a.m. Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church in Old Bridge. Entombment will take place at Franklin Memorial Park Mausoleum in North Brunswick.

GERTRUDE KOZLOSKY, AGE 65, EDISON
Gertrude "Trudy" Kozlosky, 65, died Sunday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
She was born and raised in St. Clair, Pa., and resided in Edison for the past 34 years. She was a technical secretary, working for the Department of Food Science at Rutgers University for the past 23 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Olivia Hoy.
She is survived by her husband, John S. Kozlosky; three sons, John Kozlosky and his wife, Donna, of Edison, Michael Kozlosky and his wife, Sandra, of Upper Freehold, and Joseph Kozlosky; a sister, Joan Lepore of Edison, and a granddaughter, Danielle Kozlosky.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Ave., Edison, followed by a 9 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral in Metuchen. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia. Family and friends may call 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.

GLADYS MEEK, AGE 89, EDISON
Gladys Mary Strowe Meek, 89, of Edison died Sunday at her niece's home in Metuchen.
She was born in Montreal, Canada, and lived in Massachusetts before moving to Newark, where she lived for 62 years. She resided in Edison since 1992.
She retired in 1975 after 46 years in the medical claims department of Prudential Insurance Co. in Newark. She was a member of the Prudential Retired Employees Association, Newark. She was also a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Woodbridge and was a member of the National Turner's Association in Irvington.
Her husband, George Meek, died in 1977. She was also predeceased three brothers, Herbert, William and Douglas Strowe, and her three sisters, Doris Strowe, Maude Robinson and Olga Grandjean.
She is survived by a brother, Arthur Strowe of Fort Pierce, Fla.; many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at Flynn & Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, followed by a 10 a.m. service at Trinity Episcopal Church in Woodbridge. Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield. Visitation will be 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison, or to the Strowe Grandjean Memorial Fund at Trinity Episcopal Church of Woodbridge.

SOUTH PLAINFIELD -- Medio (Joe) Schiavi, 87, died Monday (June 25, 2001) at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Inger Schiavi; his son, Frank; his daughters, Michelle Pascarella and Renee Dimayuga; his sister, Mary Fedicaroe; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday from the James W. Conroy Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at Sacred Heart Church in South Plainfield. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

GLORIA ZIESENISS, AGE 72, AVENEL
Gloria Zieseniss, 72, of Avenel died Friday at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge Division.
Born in Bangor, Maine, she resided in Maine for most of her life, moving to Avenel two years ago.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, Daniel Zieseniss of Marion, Ind.; two daughters, Nancy Zieseniss of South Amboy and Maria Cook of Avenel; a grandson, Jon Hudanich of South Amboy; two brothers, Teddy and Norman, both of Maine; and two sisters, Sylvia of Alabama and Madeline of Marion, Ind.
A memorial service will be held privately on Thursday.
