FLORA ROYBAL, 88, of Tesuque died Friday.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufino Roybal.
She is survived by her children, Jose E. Roybal and wife Shirley of Redwood City, Calif., Rumaldo Roybal and wife Lorraine, Johnny M. Roybal, Rosemary (Rose) Roybal, Rene Roybal and wife Ginger, Magdalena Romero, Gaby Keller and husband John, all of Tesuque; 13 grandchildren; sisters, Selenis (Sally) Padilla and Mary Chavez; and many other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held at 6 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Monday at Berardinelli Family Funeral Chapel. A second rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at San Isidro Church in Tesuque. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the same church with burial to follow at the Church Cemetery.

BONIFACIO TRUJILLO, 99, of Cordova died Wednesday.
He belonged to the Pentecostal Church in Cordova. He worked for the railroad and enjoyed hunting. He loved spending time reading his bible and listening to Christian music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alejandro and Ramoncita Trujillo; sons, Raynell, Benito and Alejandro Trujillo; brothers, Candido Trujillo and Valentin Sandoval; and sisters, Natividad Aragon, Eufracia Martinez and Juanita Sandoval.
He is survived by his wife, Evan S. Trujillo of Cordova; sons, Candido Trujillo and wife Valerie of Cordova, Ray Trujillo and wife Jeanine and Elisario Trujillo and companion Maria, all of Denver; daughter, Cecilia Romero and husband Merly of Kearns, Utah; 18 grandchildren; close nephew, Tony Trujillo; and many other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. today in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home with burial to follow at Pentecostal Cemetery in Cordova.

OTILIA "TILLIE" ARMIJO, 79, of Santa Fe died Friday. She was born in Canjilon.
She loved camping, fishing, bingo and was known for her kind, loving and generous spirit. She worked hard and devoted her life to raising her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Armijo; mother, Jeruada Martinez; and brother, Juanito Martinez. She is survived by her children, Ida Romero and husband Richard, Abel Armijo and wife Diana, Eliseo Armijo and wife Olivia, John Armijo and Belen Armijo; stepson, Tony Armijo and wife Sandy; and sister, Adrianna Lovato and husband Salomon; grandchild whom she raised, Ricky Romero; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and many other relatives. WILLIE L. GARCIA, 83, of Santa Fe died suddenly Saturday of natural causes. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and achieved the rank of T-5 in the Asiatic Pacific Theater serving in New Guinea, Luzon and in the Philippines liberation battles. He received three Bronze Stars for his service in those battles. His unit, 836th Engineer Aviation Battalion, received the Presidential Citation for building a strategic airstrip in three days in New Guinea. He was a small building contractor and worked with many local contractors. He was a member of the Union Protective, St. Francis Cathedral Parish, Plasterers Union, and La Confradia de la Conquistadora. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernardino and Feliz L. Garcia; brothers, Conrado Garcia, and Apolonio "Paul" Garcia; and sister, Lena Garcia Gonzales. He is survived by his wife, Martha R. Garcia; sons, Jake Garcia of the home, Steve and wife Mary, and Eugene and wife Kathy; daughter, Christella and husband John J. NORA E. HERRERA, 86, of Las Vegas, N.M., died Sunday at Alta Vista Regional Hospital. She had resided at the Vida Encantada Nursing & Rehab Center since April 2003. She was born in Las Vegas, N.M., to the late Victor Jaramillo and Clemencia Chavez Jaramillo. She was married in Las Vegas, N.M., in 1930 to the late Augustine Herrera. She was employed for several years by the Jay Val Parachute Company and worked as a foster grandparent at the Armijo Elementary School for five years. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church and a member of the VFW Auxillary. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Priscilla Herrera; and sister, Genoveva Herrera. She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Herrera and wife Rumaldita of Miami, N.M., and Daniel R. Herrera Sr. and wife Frances of Springer; daughter, Mary Elva Peters of Colorado Springs; seven grandchildren; special friends, Emilio and Helen Esquibel of Las Vegas, N.M.; and many other relatives and friends. FREDERICKA L. SWOPE, 73, died Friday at Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center in Crystal River, Fla. She was born in Fort Scott, Kan., to Fred D. and Donna Marie Lee Mahan, descendents of western pioneers and settlers. She moved to Homosassa, Fla., two years ago from New Mexico. She and her husband lived in Santa Fe, Las Cruces, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, the Virgin Islands, Florida and California. She was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, Southwest Quarter Horse Association and Arabian Horse Association. She raised and showed horses. She was a homemaker and very dedicated to her family. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Wesley F. Swope; daughter, Barbara A. Janishefski and husband Jerry of Orlando, Fla.; sons, Robert D. Swope of Orlando, Fla., John W. KENNETH R. VIGIL, 44, of Canjilon died Saturday after a lengthy illness. He proudly served in the National Guard. He loved to plant and garden. He enjoyed sports and the outdoors. TOM AGUILAR, 65, of Questa died Tuesday.
He was a member of the Nuestro Padre Jesus de Nazareno Morada, Sacred Heart League-People Eucharistic League and VFW.
He was a veteran of the Korean conflict and also served in the Navy.
He was a wood worker and owned Tom's Auto and Tire Shop in Questa.
He retired from Moly Mine in 1986.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo and Elena Aguilar; and brother, Gilbert Aguilar.
He is survived by his wife, Lourdes Aguilar; and children, Urbana Wilson and husband Roger of Albuquerque, Antonio Aguilar and Yolanda Martinez and husband Martin, all of Questa; four grandchildren; and brothers, Medardo, Epifanio and Alfonso Aguilar.
Rosaries will be recited at 7 p.m. today and Friday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Questa.

POLITO "PAUL" DURAN, 67, of Las Vegas, N.M., died Sunday after injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Rociada to the late Emilio Duran and Teresita Solano Duran. He served in the U.S. Army as private E-2. He retired from the New Mexico Monument Company in Las Vegas, N.M., where he was employed for more than 25 years as a monument engraver. He attended Our Lady of Sorrows Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emilio and Teresita Duran; and sister, Louisa Gallegos. He is survived by his daughters, Anita M. Duran-Gurule and husband Paul of Terremote and Elizabeth Duran-Valdez and husband Ivan of Albuquerque; mother of his daughters, Lucille S.
