FRANCES LUJAN, 64, of Vadito died Saturday.
She was preceded in death by her son, Edward Lujan, Jr.; parents, Jose and Emelina Gonzales; sister, Eudelia Lujan; and brother, Leo Gonzales.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Lujan of the family home in Vadito; three granddaughters; brothers, Roger Gonzales and Jose Gonzales of Albuquerque; sisters, Begnina Hall of Lake Alfred, Fla.; Anita Mondragon and Crisencia Espinoza, both of Pueblo, Colo.; and Lora Lujan of Vadito; and many other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Antonio De Padua Catholic Church in Peñasco. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the same church with a service to follow at Vadito Community Cemetery.

SENAIDA ROYBAL, 64, of Las Vegas, N.M., died Saturday at Alta Vista Regional Hospital.
She was born in Las Vegas, N.M., to the late Juan and Maria Guadalupe Gonzales Roybal.
She is survived by her sister, Carmen Jo Ann Martinez and husband Richard of Montezuma; brothers, Andrew Roybal and wife Antoinette of Albuquerque; Trinnie Roybal and wife Annie of Montezuma; and many other relatives.
Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. today at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with burial to follow in the Nuestra Señora de Rufugio Cemetery in Los Vigilles.

ANGELA RUTH LOPEZ SMITH, 40, of Santa Fe died Thursday.
She was born to Jose Manuel Lopez and Alice Lopez. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Marie Lopez.
She is survived by her husband, Rod Smith; sons, Ryan and Eric Smith; sisters, Donna Duran and husband Mike, Jane Lytle and husband Keith, Carmela Rivera and husband Anthony, Loretta Lopez-Branch and husband Ted, Annette Lopez Web and husband Ric, and Susan Holmes and husband Ernest; and many other relatives.
A visitation will be held 1-4 p.m. today at Berardinelli Family Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at noon at the same church with burial to follow at Rosario Cemetery.

NICOLASA ESPINOZA, 102, of Wagon Mound died Sunday.
She was born in El Alto to Daniel Espinoza and Bonifacia Martinez. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John Espinoza; and brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Alvin Pacheco and wife Cheryl of Alma, Ark., George P. Espinoza of Albuquerque, Pablo "Dan" Espinoza and wife Cathy of Denver, Victoria Pacheco of Wagon Mound, and Adella Pacheco and Margaret Espinoza, both of Las Vegas, N.M.; 25 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. WAYMAN "BUCK" F. BOUDINIER, 80, of Española died Saturday in Albuquerque. He was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran. He was a member of the Española Eagles Club and the Elks Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Effie G. Boudinier; parents, Effie Lucille McQueen and Artie Boudinier of Bowling Green, Mo.; and stepson, Clarence "C.J." Allison of Wyoming. He is survived by his daughter, Linda L. Jacobson of Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., and Bill Mann; son, Wayman S. "Bucky" Boudinier and wife Helen of Bloomington, Ill.; stepchildren, Kenneth Allison and wife Mary of Las Cruces, Jimmie Allison and wife Barbara of Corrales, Virginia Peabody and husband Lloyd of Corrales, Marlin Allison and wife Barbara of Rio Rancho, and Joe Dale Julian and wife Ida Marie of Magdalena; stepmother, Irene Boudinier; brother, Terrace Boudinier of Bowling Green, Mo.; and 13 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Block-Salazar Mortuary in Española with burial to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery with military honors. ALFONSO E. FERNANDEZ, 66, of Albuquerque and formerly of Cordova died Sunday of cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Seferino and Bernardita Fernandez; brothers, Alberto and Librado Fernandez; and sisters, Eliz Vigil and Maclovia Sanchez. He is survived by his daughter, Marcia Fernandez of Española; brother, Abel Fernandez and wife Irene of Ojo Sarco; sister, Manuelita Vigil of Española; three grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. RICHARD H. "DICK" HUGHES, 84, of Santa Fe died Sunday. He was born in Abilene, Texas, and moved to Santa Fe with his wife and two children in 1944. He was employed with Robert E. McKee in Los Alamos from 1944 until 1952. He then went into the car business. He established Dick Hughes Volkswagon in 1960, which he and his wife operated. In 1978, they sold the Volkswagon franchise and opened up The Hughes House retail store in downtown Santa Fe. He was a founding member of the Santa Fe Country Club, president of the Chamber of Commerce in the late 1960s and past president of the New Mexico Automobile Dealers Association. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles, and wife, Mary. He is survived by his daughter, Anne L. Wester; four grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: Richard H. Hughes Memorial Fund, c/o Century Bank, P. O. ERNESTO E. MARTINEZ, 17, of Truchas, died Sunday from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He attended the Española Valley High School and the Northern New Mexico Community College. He is survived by his parents, Ernie and Diana Martinez; sister, Jolyn Martinez; close cousin, Gilbert Vidal Romero of Cordova; and many other relatives and friends. MACARIO RODRIGUEZ, 90, of El Carmel died Saturday. He was married to Dora Trujillo at Santa Ana Church in Carrizozo in 1935. He retired from the East Las Vegas City Schools in 1976. He was active in the community of Las Vegas, N.M., and Las Manuelitas. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Octavio Rodriguez and Erinea Nolan Rodriguez; brothers, Arcenio Rodriguez Sr. and Manuel Rodriguez; and sister, Senaida R. Griego. He is survived by his wife, Dora T. Rodriguez of the family home in Las Vegas, N.M.; son, Heraldo Mac Rodriguez and wife Louella of Albuquerque; daughter, Louanna R. Zuch and husband Errol of Sapello; three grandchildren; sister, Elvira R. Ortiz; brothers, Carlos Rodriguez and wife Mary, and Billy Rodriguez and wife Margaret; and many other relatives. Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. today at Immaculate Conception Church. A private family burial will be held at a later date at the family plot at El Carmel Cemetery. JEREMY JUDE MARQUEZ, 20, of Las Vegas, N.M., died Tuesday in Lubbock, Texas, after injuries sustained in an accident.
He was born in Las Vegas, N.M., to Ben F. Marquez and Clarabel Jaramillo Marquez. He was a 2001 Robertson High School graduate and attended Luna Community College. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was employed with the state Department of Transportation, working with the sealing crew in District 4. He was an artist and rancher. He enjoyed carpentry, horseback riding, hunting, being outdoors and spending time at the ranch. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. He was close to all his cousins and family members. He is survived by his fiancée, Melinda Chavez of Las Vegas, N.M.; parents, Ben and Clarabel Marquez of Las Vegas, N.M.; sisters, Adreiena Armijo and husband Kelly of Las Vegas, N.M., and Annmarie Marquez of Indiana; and many other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at the Immaculate Conception Church. A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at the same church with burial to follow at Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Cemetery in Tuloso. Rogers Mortuary, Las Vegas, N.M., (505) 425-3511.
