RAYMOND STEVIE TAFOYA, 42, of Santa Fe died Monday after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Tafoya Sr. He is survived by his mother, Flora Tafoya; brothers, Michael Tafoya, Richard Tafoya Jr. and John Tafoya and wife Mabel; sisters, Stella Ortiz and husband Alfred, and Tessie Ortega and husband Joe; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. today with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at noon Friday at the same church with burial to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Berardinelli Family Funeral Service, 983-4331.

FLORA GOLD, 65, of Las Vegas, N.M., died Monday following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Chapelle to the late Tomas and Matilde Espinoza. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She retired from West Las Vegas Schools, where she was a mentor for hundreds of children for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Orlando, Clemente and Eloy Espinoza; and sister, Petra Aguilar. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Gold; sons, Kenneth and Jason Gold; the father of her children, Steve Gold; five grandchildren; sisters, Mary Aguilar, Magdalena Martinez, and Cecilia Estrada and husband Ben; brothers, Jose I. Espinoza and Phil Espinoza; fiance George Medina; and many other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, N.M. Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at the same church with burial to follow at Santa Rita Cemetery in Bernal. Nelson Funeral Home, (505) 425-6551.

BETTY LEE CORPENY GROSSI, 82, of Santa Fe died Tuesday. She was born in Independence, Mo. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Arlo Butler Corpery and Louise Brock Corpeny; and children, Barbara Grossi Walbert and James Grossi. She is survived by her sons, David Grossi of Shanghai, China, and Mark Grossi of Santa Fe; and sister, Zella Lou Dowell and husband Sandy Dowell. Cremation has taken place. MICHAEL ALEN LEWIS, 59, of La Zorra died unexpectedly Tuesday. He was known as "Hippie Lewie." He was an entrepreneur of controversy. He was a recent high school graduate and a college student. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Lewis; mother, IlaFe Lewis; and stepson, Doug Drahota Lewis. He is survived by his son, George D. "Blu" Lewis of La Zorra; one grandson; and many other relatives and friends. A devotional service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home. MICHAEL B. MCADAMS, 69, of Sapello died Wednesday. He was born in Hamilton, Texas, to the late James Wilburn McAdams and Maggie Caroline Fields. He was married in Carson City, Nev., to Sally Thom in 1960. He served in the U.S. Army as SP4. He retired in 1989 from the state Department of Transportation, where he was employed as a geologist for 29 years. He loved his greenhouse and was involved with the Sapello/Rociada Volunteer Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Eugene McAdams and Kenneth McAdams; and sister, Magie Hefley. He is survived by his wife, Sally T. McAdams of the family home in Sapello; children, Mark McAdams and wife Judy, Ruth McAdams, and Sean McAdams and girlfriend Misty Sharman, all of Sapello, and Miles McAdams and girlfriend Helen Romero of Las Vegas, N.M.; nine grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Rogers Chapel, 600 Reynolds Ave., Las Vegas, N.M. Burial will take place at a later date at the family property in Sapello. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sapello/Rociada Fire Dept., C/O Chief Bill Garnel, P.O. EVANGELINA L. ABEYTA, 93, of Chamisal died Tuesday.
She was born in Chamisal.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edilio Abeyta; son, Eddie J. Abeyta; and daughter, Elena Abeyta.
She loved people and volunteered with various organizations. She was the patriarch of her family, leading them to live successful lives.
She is survived by her children, Dora B. Tafoya and husband Candido, Arsenio Abeyta and wife Margie, Epifanio Abeyta and wife Darlene, Elizabeth Marrow and husband Kelly, Edwina Abeyta and husband Rick Melton, Annette Dykes and husband James Dykes; 15 grandchildren; and sisters, Maria Herrera and husband Gilberto, Tiofila Lopez, and Elba Roybal and husband Miguel; and many other relatives.

WILLIAM J. LIZUT, 81, of Santa Fe died Thursday.
He is survived by his wife, Nona Lizut; son, Roger Lizut and wife Sandra; daughters, Kathy, Jennifer and Laura; stepson, Charles Price; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a funeral service at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at McGee Memorial Chapel, followed by burial at Santa Fe National Cemetery.

JEREMY LEROY CORIZ, 5, of Hernandez died Friday.

JUNE REDENBAUGH COURT, 80, of Los Alamos died Friday after a long battle with lung cancer.
She was born in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Donald H. and Jessie Mallow Redenbaugh. She was raised in Belen where her father was a longtime Santa Fe Railroad employee and former mayor of Belen. Upon graduation from high school, she attended Colorado Women's College for one year and transferred to UNM where she earned her degree in business administration in 1945. She and her husband moved to Los Alamos in July 1948. She was employed at the Los Alamos School Credit Union until retirement in 1984. She served and enjoyed being a volunteer "den mother" to the LAHS majorettes for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Don of Los Alamos and daughter, Patricia Lee of Albuquerque.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to NM Wildlife Center, P.O. Box 246, Espaņola, NM 87532 or to a charity of your choice.
