CHUCK DUNN, 72, of Santa Fe died unexpectedly Monday. An Easterner by birth, but Westerner by heart, he and his wife moved to Santa Fe in 1996. He was involved in the printing industry for all his adult working life, serving as the president of two large printing companies in Virginia and North Carolina until the 1980s, and then as the owner/operator, with his wife, of Pronto Press in Covington, Va. He and his wife published the Photomaps of Santa Fe, Old Town Albuquerque and Taos. He never met a stranger, and loved a great glass of wine and his wife. He is survived by his wife, Gayle Dunn; son, Doug Henson and wife Andrea; two grandchildren; and daughters, April Joyce Dunn of Virginia Beach, Va., and Joanna South Dunn Samson and husband David of Washington, Conn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Art Smart c/o Ventana Fine Art, 400 Canyon Road, Santa Fe, N.M., 87501. A memorial service and reception will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the United Church of Santa Fe, 1804 Arroyo Chamiso. Berardinelli Family Funeral Service, 983-4331.

LARRY N. ROMERO SR., 38, of Chimayó died Sunday after a short illness. He loved to work on his low riders. He weaved for Ortega's in 1986. He loved to eat sweets and being with his children. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Crystal Romero; and father, Tobias Romero. He is survived by his mother, Betty Romero and companion Leo Ortega of Chimayó; children, Nicole Romero of Chimayó, Crystal Romero and Larry Romero Jr. both of Española; mother of his children, Sandra Martinez of Española; brothers and sisters, Leland Romero and wife Francine of Chimayó, Monica Valdez and husband Vicente of Chimayó; fiancée, Sandra Herrera of El Rancho; and many other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayó. Mass will be celebrated at noon Thursday at the same church with burial to follow at Nuestra Señora Del Carmel Cemetery in Chimayó. DeVargas Funeral Home of the Española Valley, (505) 747-7477.

EVANGELINA L. ABEYTA, 93, died Tuesday. She was born in Chamisal. She loved people and volunteered for many years with various organizations. She was the patriarch of her family, leading them to live and lead successful lives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edilio Abeyta; son, Eddie J. Abeyta; and daughter, Elena Abeyta. She is survived by her sisters, Maria Herrera and husband Gilberto, Tiofila Lopez, and Elba Roybal and husband Miguel; and many other relatives. A visitation will be held at 6 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. today in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home. A second rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Friday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Peñasco. ROSENALDO "ROSS" REYES ATENCIO, 51, of Santo Niño, died unexpectedly Monday. He loved the outdoors, sports and family gatherings. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Lifar and Gregorita Atencio. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Atencio of Albuquerque; children, Eric and Marla Atencio, both of Albuquerque; four grandchildren; brothers, Eddie Atencio and wife Helen of Las Vegas and Ronald Atencio of Santo Niño; sisters, Margie Carrillo and husband Al of Santa Fe, Effie Mondragon and husband Gilbert of Tooele, Utah, Catherine Hernandez and husband Joe, Lorraine Mata and husband Pablo, all of Santa Fe, Georgette Ayers and husband Jeff of El Guache and Yvonne Vigil and companion Adrian Roybal of Santa Fe; and many other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada with burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. RAYMOND STEVIE TAFOYA, 42, of Santa Fe died Monday after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Tafoya Sr. He is survived by his mother, Flora Tafoya; brothers, Michael Tafoya, Richard Tafoya Jr. and John Tafoya and wife Mabel; sisters, Stella Ortiz and husband Alfred, and Tessie Ortega and husband Joe; and many other relatives and friends. WILLIAM J. LIZUT, 81, of Santa Fe died Thursday.
He is survived by his wife, Nona Lizut; son, Roger Lizut and wife Sandra; daughters, Kathy, Jennifer and Laura; stepson, Charles Price; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a funeral service at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at McGee Memorial Chapel, followed by burial at Santa Fe National Cemetery.

JEREMY LEROY CORIZ, 5, of Hernandez died Friday.
He is survived by his parents, Eric Coriz and April Salazar of Hernandez; close cousins, Dale and Christopher Salazar of Hernandez, Kayla and Jacob Coriz of Chimayo and Matthew Quintana of Hernandez; and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held at 6 p.m. followed by a wake at 7 p.m. today in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Española with burial to follow at San Jose Cemetery.

JUNE REDENBAUGH COURT, 80, of Los Alamos died Friday after a long battle with lung cancer.
She was born in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Donald H. and Jessie Mallow Redenbaugh. She was raised in Belen where her father was a longtime Santa Fe Railroad employee and former mayor of Belen. Upon graduation from high school, she attended Colorado Women's College for one year and transferred to UNM where she earned her degree in business administration in 1945. She and her husband moved to Los Alamos in July 1948. She was employed at the Los Alamos School Credit Union until retirement in 1984. She served and enjoyed being a volunteer "den mother" to the LAHS majorettes for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Don of Los Alamos and daughter, Patricia Lee of Albuquerque.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to NM Wildlife Center, P.O. Box 246, Española, NM 87532 or to a charity of your choice.
