SHARON S. BOECHAT, 60, of Chimayó died Wednesday after a long illness.
She was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She was a resident of New Mexico for the past 10 years. She was employed at Big Rock Casino at the time of her death.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Auguste Boechat.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Boechat of Chimayó; son, Edward Boechat of Santa Fe; four grandchildren; sister, Kathy Schlopy of Florida; and best friend, Emily Clark of Albuquerque. A devotional service will be held at 6 p.m. today at the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home. Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Friday at Loma Vista Cemetery in Alcalde.

ETHLYN VALETA DICKASON, 85, of Los Alamos died in Los Angeles.
She was born to Michael John and Anna Laurie of Marysville, Ohio. She was married in Richwood, Ohio, in 1941; relocated to Los Alamos in 1945, where her husband was chief of security until 1958; and raised six children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Floyd Gunderman; husband, Donald P. Dichason; and son, David Michael.
She is survived by her children, Bonnie Kay Pagliaro and husband Frank, Paula Sue Dickason and Ron Moon, Janne Dickason Targan and husband Stephan, Donald Paul Jr. and wife Martha, and Richard William and wife Jean; 14 grandchildren; and many other relatives.
A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at McGee Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Santa Fe National Cemetery. ISAIAS LOPEZ, 66, of Los Ojos died unexpectedly Sunday.
He was preceded by his father, Tircio Lopez.
He served in the U.S. Navy and retired from the Bureau of Reclamation. He had an avid love for mechanic work and refurbishing vehicles.
He is survived by his wife, Erma Lopez; children, Lucinda Valdez and husband Danny of Santa Fe, Isaias Lopez and wife Arleen of Belgium, daughter Melissa Garcia and husband of Albuquerque; six grandchildren; mother, Ignacita Lopez of Cebolla; brother, Jerry Lopez of Albuquerque; sisters, Andy Madrid and husband Herman, and Virginia Lopez, all of Cebolla, Domy Ulibarri and husband Felibertom, and Lorraine Abeyta and husband Fermin, all of Tierra Amarilla; and many other relatives and friends.

She was an LPN II for 44 years at the Española Hospital.
