CAROLINE "CAROL" WUORINEN, 77, of Santa Fe died Thursday.
She was born to Santiago and Mary Trujillo in Albuquerque. She married Reino Wuorinen, to whom she was married for 55 years. They owned the Horseman Haven Café in Santa Fe for many years. She also worked at Four Seasons Nursing Home, The Pantry and The Adobe Restaurant and retired from Murphy's Law. She was well known for her love of cooking and baking. She was also known for having a big heart, which she shared with all whom she met.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Trujillo.
She is survived by her husband, Reino; children, Tony Trujillo and wife Ann of Albuquerque, Carolyn Wuorinen, James Wuorinen and Debbie Wuorinen; six grandchildren; brother, Bennie and wife Clory; and many other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be recited at 8:30 with Mass to be celebrated at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Santa Fe, with burial to follow at 10:30 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the National Parkinson Foundation, c/o of St. John's, 1301 Osage Ave., Santa Fe, N.M., 87505.

FRANK C. DELGADO, 86, of San Miguel County died Dec. 13 after a long illness.
He was born in Chaperito to Maximo and Gertudis Lucero Chavez. He was raised by his aunt and uncle Marcos and Monica Lucero Delgado. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Sicily, Italy, Southern France, the Rhineland and Central Europe, leaving the service in 1945. During the 1950s he owned and successfully managed the Gulf Service Station on South Grand Avenue in Las Vegas, N.M., until he was elected sheriff. Over the years, he was active in and generously gave his time and support to the Elks Lodge, VFW, American Legion Post 24, the Rotary Club and the Eagles Lodge No. 3815.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Florinda Ordonez Delgado.
He is survived by his brothers, Max and Teresita Chavez of Las Vegas, N.M., Antonio and Luisa Chavez of San Francisco, Reducindo and Estella Chavez of Murphys, Calif.; sister, Pablita Garcia of Tucumcari; and many other relatives and friends.
Cremation has taken place. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church, Las Vegas, N.M. A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Dec. 18 at the Immaculate Conception Church with burial to follow at Masonic Cemetery with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 508 Douglas Avenue.

JOSE M. MARTINEZ, 90, of Chamisal died Dec. 15 from acute leukemia.
He was a rancher all his life and worked in sawmills for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucia Martinez; son, Raynaldo Martinez and daughter, Josefia Martinez.
He is survived by his sons, Jose F. Martinez, Raymond Martinez, Lawrence Martinez, Ruben Martinez, Tommy Martinez, all of Chamisal and Albert Martinez of Price of Utah; daughters, Lucrudez Martinez of Chamisal and Mary Martinez and companion Jimmy Campbell of Alcalde; brothers, Phil Martinez and wife Sadie of Colorado Springs, Ruben Marty Martinez of Missouri, and Johnny Martinez of Price, Utah; sisters, Dellia Herrera and husband Raymond of Delta, Colo., Anita Sanchez of Española, Bernie Martinez and Helen Lucero, both of Colorado Springs; seven grandchildren; close daughter-in-law, Helen Martinez of Chamisal; and many other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Dec. 17 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Peñasco. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Dec. 18 at the same church with burial to follow at the Presbyterian Cemetery in Chamisal.

REYES VIOLA SENA, 84, of Santa Fe died after a short illness.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was admired and respected for her commitments, positive attitude and love for her religion and spiritual life. Throughout her life, she was active in the Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish community. She never hesitated in sharing with others and graciously and generously contributed to various charitable organizations. Through her example, she taught others around her to accept the shortcomings in life and praise their gifts from God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert (Gillie) E. Sena; parents, Cesario and Deloisa Ortiz; brothers and sisters, Rosinaldo Ortiz, Preciliano Ortiz, Willie Ortiz, Medardo Ortiz, Julian Ortiz, Frank Ortiz, Eurcenia CdeBaca and Mary Aranda.
She is survived by her children, Juanita Sena-Shannon and husband, Martin Shannon, Elizabeth Griego and partner, Jose Comancho, Gilbert R. Sena and partner, Ellen Trabka, and Patricia Sena and partner, Steve Dwyer; eight grandchildren; siblings, Donelia Roybal, Rosina and Gene Clayton, Reynaldo and Stella Ortiz, Jerry Aranda, Helen Ortiz, Val Ortiz, Lucy Sena, Alice Sena and Eleanor Sena; and many other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Dec. 17 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 18 at the same church. Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 20 at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Odyssey Hospice or Our Lady of Guadalupe.

LINDA GORDON, 48, of Santa Fe died Thursday from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

ANTHONY MANUEL LORENZO, 56, of Albuquerque died Tuesday.
He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Paul Lorenzo Jr.
He is survived by his parents, Mary Frances Roybal and Pascual Lorenzo; children, Brandi Dawn, Ashlin and Caitlyn Lorenzo, all hail from Albuquerque; and many other relatives and friends.

RUDY MARTINEZ, 59, of Las Vegas, N.M. died Wednesday at St. Vincent Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Albuquerque to Luis Martinez and Dorothy. He worked with the state of New Mexico at the state Capitol as a custodian. He loved to sing and was full of life. He enjoyed socializing with his fellow residents and staff at Meadows.
He is survived by many friends at Meadows II at the Las Vegas Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. today at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Las Vegas, N.M. with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
