MICHAEL F. CONLEY, 51, of of Las Vegas, N.M., died Friday. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lloyd and Dorothy Foster Conley. He is survived by his wife, Lora Conley of Las Vegas, N.M.; sons, Brian and Sean Conley, both of Las Vegas, N.M.; sister, Aimee and husband Marty of Albuquerque; and brother, Christopher Conley of Thailand. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving with the 567th Engineer Company. He was honorably discharged in 1972. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from New Mexico Highlands University and graduated from the nurse training program at Luna Community College. He was a registered nurse and practiced at St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe. He was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and was active with the Boy Scouts of America and Habitat for Humanity. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. today at the First United Methodist Church. Cremation has taken place. "TED" ARISTIDES JOHN LEGITS SR., 77, of Santa Fe died Wednesday. He was a native of Santa Fe. He was born to John and Nellie Legits. He served his country and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. He retired from the state Department of Transportation after 30 years of service and from the Elks Lodge after 25 years of service as its chef. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Socrates John Legits and John Pericoles Legits. He is survived by his wife, Annie Legits; children, Ted Legits Jr., Liz Legits, Patrick Legits, Anthony Legits and wife Annette, and Kathleen Legits-Romero and husband Chuck; sisters, Kathryn Gonzales, Mary Ladue and Venus Stafford; brother, Demosthenes "Jim" Legits; six grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. RAMON "MILO" NARANJO of Santa Fe died Monday after a brief illness. He was a graduate of St. Michael's High School, receiving a scholarship to the University of St. Louis and graduating from the University of New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his father, John Ramon Naranjo; and sister, Eva Howland. He is survived by his wife, Carol Naranjo; mother, Dube Naranjo; sister, Evangeline Clokey and partner Del Rodriguez; brother, Robert Naranjo of Vancouver, Wash.; daughters, Shannon and Jennifer Naranjo of San Jose, Calif.; one granddaughter; and many other relatives. ROBERT T. ARCHULETA, 66, of Santa Fe died Jan. 6.
He was born in Santa Rita, the son of Alex and Nena Archuleta. He was employed by Silver City Glass & Mirror, Colony Concrete and Meals on Wheels. He was a veteran and American Legion Commander of Post 1 for four years in District 1 and District Commander for four years.
He is survived by his companion, Corrine Mesa, and her sons, Nathan Gallegos, Joe Pacheco and wife Joanne; mother, Nena Archuleta; sisters, Helen L. Archuleta and Dolores T. Henderson and husband Donald; son, Gary A. Archuleta; daughter, Anna Archuleta; and many other relatives and friends.

JUBENCIO "ERMINIO" MARTINEZ, 75, of Chimayó died Jan. 7
He was formerly of Canjilon. He worked for many years as a door greeter at Wal-Mart. He was a recipient of the Army of Occupation and World War II Victory Medal.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juanito Martinez and Anna Maria Lopez; and siblings, Pola Baca, Elviria Montaño, Rosenaldo Martinez, Maria de la Luz Maes, Lisandro Martinez and Severa Montaño.
He is survived by his wife, Faby Martinez; children, Kathy Gonzales and husband Phillip, Roberta Salinas and companion Sammy Gallegos and David Martinez; sisters, Cidelia Miera, Ermalinda Intini and husband Ray; five grandchildren; and many other relatives.

LAWRENCE JOHN "JACK" TYNAN, 81, of Santa Fe died Jan. 5 after a long illness.
He was a resident of Kingston Residences in Santa Fe and a former resident of Pendaries Village, Rociada. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. to the late Lancelot Tynan and Ida Perante. He served his country honorably during World War II from 1942-1945 as technical sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corps, 758th Bomber Squadron. He was captured and held as POW until August 25, 1944. He retired in 1989 from Alexander & Alexander Insurance Company where he was employed as an insurance broker for 12 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William; and stepfather, Ed Strebel. He is survived by many relatives and friends.
A public visitation will be held all day Jan. 8 and Jan. 9 at the Rogers Chapel, Las Vegas, N.M. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Jan. 9 at the Chapel. JOSE A. "TONY" BACA, 81, of Santa Clara Pueblo died Tuesday after a long illness.
He retired from Johnson Controls, formerly Zia Co., after many years of service. He was a World War II Army veteran. He loved fishing and hunting and was an avid baseball and football player. He also loved to read. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Margaret Baca; brothers and sisters, Louisa Warren, Jessie Enos, Joe Baca Sr., and William Baca.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Baca; children, Janice Baca, David Baca, Gordon Baca, Charles Baca, Gary Baca, Leona Baca, Darryl Baca, Chris Baca and wife Janice, Alvin Baca, and Louisa Baca, all of Santa Clara Pueblo; sisters, Gregorita Chavarria and Anacita Tafoya, both of Santa Clara Pueblo; nine grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
