He was survived by his wife, Dolores D. Garcia; daughter, Pamela Montoya and husband, Gilbert, of Chimayó; son, Edmund Garcia and wife Tami of Las Vegas, Nev.; five grandchildren; sisters, Mary Arellano, Lila Cerna and husband Ben and Elizabeth Flores.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cerro with burial to follow at the Cerro Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delfino Ortiz.

WILMA JEANETTE WHEELER, 55, of Santa Fe died Friday after complications from ovarian cancer.
She was born in Santa Fe, the daughter of John and Elsie Roybal. She was employed by the State of New Mexico, with the Department of Tourism and New Mexico Magazine.
She was preceded in death by her father, John P. Roybal; sister, Lillian Roybal; and brother, John P. Roybal II.
She is survived by her mother, Elsie Roybal; son, Karl Wheeler; sisters, Betsy Wilder, Kathie Romero and husband David, Judith Miller and husband Leon; brothers, Stephen Roybal, Harvey Roybal; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Berardinelli Family Chapel.

JOSE R. BARELA, 65, of Mora died Saturday, Dec. 4 at Alta Vista Regional Hospital.
He was born to the late Samuel Barela and Anita Martinez.

EDWINA MAE CHAVEZ, 43, of San Juan Pueblo died unexpectedly Thursday, Dec. 2.
She loved teaching and working with children, especially in the area of child development. She loved the mountains, camping and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Michael Chavez and companion Maya Otero of San Juan Pueblo; daughter, Pamela Chavez of San Juan Pueblo; parents, Gene and Emily Lopez of Los Alamos; brothers, Charlie Lopez and wife Joy of Rio Rancho and Lawrence Lopez of Los Alamos; sister, Geraldine Lopez-Keane of Los Alamos; and many other relatives.

EDDIE A. MARTINEZ, 33, of Las Tablas died Saturday following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tanya Jackie Eileen Martinez.
He worked for KSL, a sub- contractor for Los Alamos National Laboratory. He was an outdoors person. He had a love for softball and enjoyed hunting, going for wood, playing horseshoes and watching basketball. He was a good mechanic, liked playing cards, having family barbecues and get-togethers.
He is survived by his children, Eroshia Jackie Martinez and Eddie Martinez Jr., both of Denver, Alex and Aubrianna Martinez; and their mother and his girlfriend of 10 years, April Baldonado; mother, Elevinia Martinez and companion Manuel Barela of Las Tablas; brothers and sisters, Frances Valdez and husband Dennis of La Madera, Sherry Martinez and husband Eli of Capulin, Colo., Paul Martinez and wife Jessica, Adrian Martinez and companion Stacey, all of Las Tablas, and Gina Escobar and husband Carlos of Utah; close cousins, Hope Varela of Las Tablas, Rita Sandoval of Española and Cassie Baldonado of Velarde; and many other relatives friends.
