RUTH BERNICE SPADAFORE, 89, of Santa Fe died Monday of cancer.
She was new to Santa Fe, but quickly made many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Spadafore of Michigan.
She is survived by her son, Ted Ricamore and wife Carol of Michigan; daughter, Pat Forman; one granddaughter; and fiance, Frank Seymore, all of Santa Fe; and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to The American Cancer Society, 10501 Montgomery Blvd., NE, Ste. 300, Albuquerque, N.M., 87111.

LESLIE R. TANNER, 75, of San Juan Pueblo died Thursday following a long illness.
He was a 27-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Stella Tanner of San Juan Pueblo; children, Debbie Chavez-Bird of Albuquerque, Roy Tanner and wife Glenda of Jemez Pueblo, Tammy Singer and husband Norman of Santa Clara Pueblo, Kimberly Vigil and husband Eric of Corrales, and Melissa Elkins and husband Tommy of Thoreau; eight grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 9 a.m. today at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.

MIGUEL G. MARTINEZ, 33, of Espaņola died Saturday. He worked for the state Transportation Department until recently. He loved to go to his parent's farm in Colorado. He was a avid hunter and a Spanish Colonial artist, specializing in tinwork. He was a loving father to his children and stepchildren. He is survived by his children, Lanytte and Gabriel; stepchildren, Katryna and Jerome; wife, Sandra Maestas; parents, J.D. and Rita Martinez; brothers, J.D. Martinez III and Paul Martinez; and many other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday at Block-Salazar Mortuary in Espaņola. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, both in Espaņola. EUFILIA FERNANDEZ, 83, of Espaņola died Sunday after a brief illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arsenio Fernandez; parents, Cesario and Irene Jaramillo; brothers, Frank and Jose Jaramillo; and sister, Donelia Vasquez.
She is survived by her children, Lorraine Valdez and husband, Pedro, Tony Valerio and wife, Mary Lou; Joseph Gutierrez and wife, Dina, and Brenda Valdez, all of Espaņola, Irene Montoya and husband, Eliseo, of Alcalde; Josephine Krauss and husband, Harvey; Clara Flores and husband, Ernesto, of California, Maria Armijo and husband, Chris, of Las Vegas; Bernadette Jaramillo of Santa Fe; brothers, Jake Jaramillo of Colorado, Ben Jaramillo and wife, Gloria, of Utah, Guillermo Jaramillo of Arizona; sisters, Florentina Maestas of Ojo Caliente, Sally Clements and husband, Donald, of Utah; 21 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
A public visitation will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the Sangre de Cristo chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Victory Faith Church in Espaņola with burial to follow at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Cemetery in Espaņola.

PABLO E. "PABLITO" GONZALES, 99, of Santa Fe died Tuesday.
He was raised in Indian Creek, where he worked in the mines in El Macho for many years. He then worked in Bishop, Calif., in the Tungstar Mines, returning to New Mexico, where he worked for Brown and Olds Plumbing in Los Alamos, and retired from the state penitentiary in 1976. After his wife passed away in 1995, he lived with his daughter Patricia and son-in-law Louis Baca until his death. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to the casino.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Florentina "Florence" V. Gonzales; daughter, Ruby; father, Pablo A. Gonzales; mother, Apolonia; and nine brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his children, Tony Gonzales of Chula Vista, Calif., Ramon A. "Alfonso" Gonzales and wife Gloria, and Patricia Baca and husband Louis, all of Santa Fe; brother, Carlos Gonzales and wife Mary of Santa Fe; close granddaughter, Catherine Oman and husband Daniel of Portland, Ore.; 27 grandchildren; and many other relatives.
A visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at Berardinelli Chapel, with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Another visitation will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Pecos, with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at noon Saturday at the same church with burial to follow at the Pecos Cemetery.

DAVID J. MUNIZ, 49, of Los Cordovas died Tuesday.
He was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Muniz; and sister, Regina.
He is survived by his children, Jose Muniz of Taos and Rayos Muniz of Phoenix; mother, Bennie Muniz; brother, Jake Muniz and wife Didi; sisters, Antonette Medina and husband, Paul, and Cindy Muniz; and many other relatives.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at San Isidro Catholic Church in Los Cordovas. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church in Ranchos.

ELIZABETH "BETTY" M. PARISI, 80, of Santa Fe, died Monday.
She was born to Elizabeth and Charles Reddien. She was born and raised in Buffalo, N.Y. She met and married Peter Parisi. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, co-worker and friend. She set a standard of beauty, grace, hard work and unconditional love.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane; and siblings, Christopher Reddien, Marion Connor, Chuck Reddien, Dan Reddien, Neil Reddien, Gerald Reddien and Ruth McDonald.
She is survived by her husband, Peter Parisi; son, Edward Parisi and wife, Dawn; daughter, Mary Beth Parisi and partner Laurie Friedman; brother, George Reddien; six grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of the Cathedral Church of St. Francis of Assisi, 213 Cathedral, Santa Fe. Flowers may be sent to the parish office.
