MANUELITA TRUJILLO, 100, of Pojoaque died Thursday. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Romansita Roybal; siblings, Pablo, Amaranté, Emilio, Benjamin, Luz, Dolores Roybal and Elisa Trujillo; husband, Enrique Trujillo; sons, Evaristo Trujillo and wife Mary, Levi, George and Henry Trujillo; three grandchildren; and daughters-in-law, Lee and Isabelle Trujillo. She is survived by her brother, Meliton Roybal; children, Manuel Trujillo and wife Ernestine of Nambé, Noe Trujillo of Pojoaque, Jim Trujillo and wife Paula of Santa Fe, Yolanda Brown and husband Carl of Pojoaque, and Alfred Trujillo and wife Susie of Jacona; very special nephew Phillip Trujillo of Glorieta; daughters-in-law, Ercillia and Lucille; special great-nephews, Phillip and Ronald Roybal; brother and sister-in-law, Antonio and Elisidia Sandoval; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. SOPHIE VIALPANDO died Wednesday. She was born March 11, 1920, in Allison, Colo. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Eligio and Emilia Trujillo; brother and sister, Luis and Matilda Trujillo; husband, Felix Vialpando; and son, Felix Vialpando Jr.. She is survived by her children, Celine Anderson, Barbara Chavez and husband Camilo, Michael J. Vialpando and fiancée Leonora, and Irene and Charles W. Daley. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

ROLAND M. VILLA died Thursday. He was born in Española and was a graduate of Santa Fe High School and New Mexico State University in Las Cruces. He received his bachelor's degree in music education and did his student teaching in Las Cruces. He worked as a band director or assistant band director at Santa Fe Indian School, Alameda Junior High School, Capshaw Middle School, Capital High School, Santa Fe High School and, most recently, Ortiz Middle School. In addition to teaching, he also played solo gigs in a jazz trio called Subject to Change and in the Santa Fe Great Big Jazz Band. A beloved teacher, longtime Santa Fe resident and member of the First Presbyterian Church, he was instrumental in the development of the Southside Music Program, working with Lorraine Goldman, the Myrtle Rebekah Lodge No. 27, granting agencies and the community. In 2002, he won two awards for excellence in teaching: Teachers Who Inspire and the Noah C. Rodriguez Memorial Award for Excellence. He was preceded in death by his father, John D. Villa, and his mother, Drucilla Jaramillo Villa. He is survived by his wife, Ronda K. Butler-Villa; his daughter, Larisa M. Vasquez and husband John of Las Cruces; Larisa's mother, Amy Tannehill of Albuquerque; son, Antonio D. Villa; daughter, Sara M. Villa; sister, Lydia Villa-Komaroff and husband Tony Komaroff of Boston; brother, Richard Villa and wife Judith of Rural Valley, Pa.; sister, Kathryn Villa-Smith and husband Steve Smith of Boring, Ore.; brother, Lorenz Villa and wife Diane of McAllen, Texas; and sister, Dorthea Montoya and husband Michael of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. His wish was that his work at Ortiz Middle School and the Southside Music Program continue. ROSINA D. CHAVEZ, 65, of Petaca died Thursday after a short illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolfo Chavez; three sons, Orlando Esquibel, Adolfo Chavez Jr. and Ruben Chavez; parents, Federico and Odilia Esquibel; and two brothers, Eliazar and Gerald Esquibel. She was born July 4, 1972, in Taft, Texas.
She graduated from Lighthouse Christian School in May 1991.

JUAN REYMUNDO LOPEZ, 77, of Santa Fe, died Friday after a long illness.
He was born in Agua Fria on Dec. 3, 1925.
He graduated from Santa Fe High School and later joined the U.S. Army, where he served during the Korean conflict. After his discharge, he attended Santa Fe Business College and then worked for the state Taxation and Revenue Department until his retirement in 1982.
He was a member of San Isidro Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Federico M. and Magdalena G. Lopez.
He is survived by his sisters, Ida and Rita Lopez; brothers, Jose Eustaquio (Stella V.) Lopez, Pete (Angie) Lopez, and Antonio Lopez; and several nieces and nephews.

He was born June 2, 1929, in Albert to Eusebio Jose Montano and Isabelita Bueno Montano.
He attended Albert Country Schools and Mosquero Schools.
He was a rancher.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leonzo Montano, Gabe Montano and Joe Montano; and sisters, Juanita Gavas and Dominga Trujillo. He is survived by his sisters, Porfidia Montonya of Las Vegas, N.M., Alegra Blea of Pecos, and Flora Baca of Albuquerque; brothers, Eddie Montano of Albuquerque and Fermin Montano of Del Hart, Texas; and numerous other relatives and friends.

JOSE VIVIAN SUAZO, 84, of Gallina died Wednesday.
He was a World War II veteran and a member of the Jemez Mountain Co-Op for many years.
He was a longtime rancher. He had lots of friends he cherished very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Victor and Lugarda Suazo; brother, Victor Suazo; sister, Ernestina Gonzales; and two brothers-in-law. He is survived by his sister, Porfiria Jaramillo of Santa Fe; brother, Willie A. Suazo and wife Elizaida of Gallina; and numerous other relatives and friends.
