JENNIE L. MEDINA, 89, of Albuquerque died April 22, 2005, following a long illness.
She was born in Taos and lived most of her life in Abiquiu.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe D. Medina; and son, Tommy Medina of Abiquiu.
She is survived by her son, John Medina and wife Angelica; daughters, Carolyn Esparsen and husband Albert of Santa Fe, Kathy Derouin and husband Chuck of Albuquerque, and Elizabeth Jones and husband Tom of Rio Rancho; sisters, Peggy LeDoux of Santa Fe, and Catherine Manzanares of Pueblo Colo.; 19 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at McGee Memorial Chapel Mortuary followed by a rosary at 6 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. April 25 at San Juan Catholic Church in San Juan with burial to follow La Villita Cemetery.

MAXINE MILLER, 79, of Española died April 22, 2005, after a long illness.
She was a great fan of McCurdy School in Española. She was a loving mother and wife.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Judith Elaine Miller.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph E. OFELIA C. MONDRAGON, 84, of Llano Quemado died April 20, 2005.
She retired after 25 years as a cook for the Ranchos Elementary School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Palemon Mondragon; parents, Evaristo and Eutimia Candelario; and brother, Jose C. Candelario.

MARVIN G. PETTINE, 65, of Las Vegas, N.M., died April 20, 2005, at the Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque following a long illness.
He was born in Las Vegas, N.M., to Albert Pettine and Theresa Weathers. He attended and graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1958. He returned to Las Vegas, N.M., where he raised his family. He retired from the state Highway Department in 1992 as a project manager after 29 years of service. A lifelong Catholic, he was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church. He was an outdoorsman who loved hunting and fly-fishing. He was a member of the Sportsman Concerned Organization to retain and protect public lands for hunting and fishing. His family named him the "Michael Jordan" of fishing. He was a man with a strong spirituality, a quick wit, a generous heart and huge zest for life. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Theresa Pettine; and daughter, Karen Pettine Martinez.
He is survived by his wife, Karen C. Pettine of the family home in Las Vegas, N.M.; special aunt, Elizabeth Pettine Johnson of Albuquerque; daughters, Kelly Farley and husband Robert and Kristian Pettine, all of Albuquerque and Jeanne Aragon of Las Vegas, N.M.; son, Brian Szydlik and wife Cristin of Portland, Oregon; five grandchildren; sister, Geraldine Shackelford of Hacienda Heights, Calif.; special nieces, Diane Laggenbauer and husband Dane, Lisa Hunt and husband Brad and close nephew, Steve Shackelford; brother and sister-in-law, William Cox and wife Audi and Kathleen Leger and husband Phil, all of Las Vegas, N.M.; special relatives, Dalton Montgomery and family of Taos, Wilfred and Yvonne Pettine Padilla, Jim and Keta Valdez, Betty Macklin Hoover, Henry and Janice Pettine, and Helen Gaeta, and Salomon Maese and wife Dolores of Las Vegas, N.M., and families; and many other relatives and friends.

DOROTHY B. CRAIG, 77, of Santa Fe died Sunday following a brief illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband George M. Craig.
She was born in Cresco, Iowa, the daughter of John F. Bilik and Louise T. Kubik. She married George M. Craig in Santa Fe on October 27, 1947. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. She was a loving homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Karolyne Redding and husband, Joel; and Denise Mares and husband, William; sons, George F. Craig and Kevin Craig; five grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

She was born in West Virginia to the late Patrick and Hattie Chapman. She was a veteran of the United States Navy.
