JUAN A. TRUJILLO, 88, of Las Vegas, N.M. died at his home Saturday.
He was born in Trujillo to the late Satiago Trujillo and Anna Sena Trujillo. He was a beloved husband, dad, grandfather and friend.
He is survived by his spouse of 59 years, Helen Baca Trujillo of the family home; children, Viola Trujillo, Chris Trujillo, Edwina Trujillo, all of Las Vegas, N.M. and Jonathan Trujillo of Albuquerque; nine grandchildren; sisters, Ramona Gurule of Las Vegas, N.M., Cleo Kenyon of Las Animas, Colo.; and many other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Las Vegas. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the same church with burial to follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.

DENNIS JOSEPH MARTINEZ, 50, formerly of Santa Fe, died unexpectedly April 29 at his home in Sacramento, Calif.
He was born and raised in Santa Fe. He loved to help people and always thought of others first. He watched over his family protectively, gently, and with immense and unconditional love. He was an expert at fixing things, having fun, creating adventures, telling stories and jokes and he always smiled with his teeth showing and love in his heart. He never hesitated to give, found joy in each and every day and was rich with all of life's simple treasures. He was a retired Air Force veteran, hardworking postal carrier, locksmith, mechanic, contractor, computer specialist, jewelry-maker, member of the Sacramento Mineral Society, aesthetic artist and wonderful husband, father, grandpa, brother, son and friend.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Gloria Martinez; daughters, Merlene Francis and son-in-law Darrin Francis, and Nicole Martinez; son, Dan'l Martinez; two granddaughters; and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held at 6 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7 p.m. May 12 at St. Francis Cathedral. Burial will be held at 10 a.m. May 13 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery followed by an 11 a.m. memorial service at St. Francis Cathedral.

ROLLO J. MOYA, 57, of Las Vegas, N.M., died April 30 at the Albuquerque Regional Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born in Las Vegas, N.M., to the late Roger and Dorothy Ortiz Moya. He attended schools in Las Vegas, N.M., and enjoyed reading, songwriting and poetry.
He is survived by his sister, Kathy Valdez and husband Robert of Las Vegas, N.M.; close nieces, Bobbi Ella Tafoya and husband Jacob of Phoenix, Bobbi Lynn Valdez and Bobbi Jo Valdez, both of Las Vegas, N.M.; and many other relatives and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. today at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with burial to follow at the San Jose Cemetery.

EVILA M. ORTEGA, 79, of Taos died May 10.
She is survived by her husband, Eduardo Ortega; daughters, Theresa Romero and husband Mario of Espaņola and Rose M. Garcia of Taos; and sisters and brothers, Elvira Quintana, Bolivar Quintana, Manuelita Pacheco and husband Leroy, Eloy and Henry Cardenas.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. May 14 at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Taos with burial to follow at Penas Negras Cemetery.

SANDRA A. ROMERO, 45, of Albuquerque died May 7 after injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born in Cleveland, N.M., to Juan B. Romero and Edulia M. Cordova. She grew up in Leadville, Colo., and was a former resident of Guadalupita. She enjoyed being in the mountains, dancing, listening to music, and cooking. She loved her granddaughter Alexis very much. A lifelong Catholic, she attended St. Gertrudes Church in Mora.
She is survived by her boyfriend, Robert Romero of Ocate; son, Shawn Patrick Romero of Guadalupita; daughter, Krystle Marie Duran of Albuquerque; one granddaughter; parents, Johnnie B. and Julia Romero, both of Guadalupita; sisters and brothers, Geneva Vigil and boyfriend Robert Trujillo and Ted Romero and wife Verna, all of Denver, Judy Sandoval and husband Bob of Guadalupita, Larry Romero and wife Shirley of Las Vegas, N.M., Lois Martinez and husband Augustine of Black Lake; and many other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today at St. Gertrude's Church in Mora. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the same church. Cremation will take place after services with a private family burial at a later date.

JOY C. TRUDER, 101, of Las Vegas, N.M., died May 7 at Vida Encantada Nursing Home in Las Vegas, N.M.
She was born in Kenton, Okla., to the late Ralph Curris and Aletha Hoover.
She is survived by her special niece, Jacque Stucky, and husband of Albuquerque.
Cremation has taken place. A private burial will be held at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Las Vegas, N.M., at a later date.

JAMES RICHARD BARTHOLOMEW "LITTLE B" VIGIL, 18, of Las Vegas, N.M., died May 9.
He was born in Las Vegas, N.M., to Joseph F. Vigil and Guadalupe M. Tafoya. He was a junior at Robertson High School and was employed at the 7th Street Pizza Hut. He enjoyed writing lyrics to rap songs, camping and fishing. He spent a lot of time with his daughter, Amor Elena, and nephew J.J. He was a former Optic carrier and often cut the neighbors lawns. He was a loving father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. A lifelong Catholic, he was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and formerly served as altar boy.
He is survived by his daughter, Amor Elena Vigil and her mother, Sharrise Pino; parents, Joseph F. and Guadalupe M. Vigil; sisters, Staff Sgt. Crystal Marie Catalina Vigil and Bernadette Jo Marie Vigil and fiance Julian M. Bustamante; brother, Dominic Joseph Patrick Vigil; close nephew, Julian Joseph Bustamante; close friends, Steven Garcia, Lawrence Arellanes and Richard Arguello, all of Las Vegas, N.M.; and many other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. May 12 at the Immaculate Conception Church. A funeral service will be held at 8:30 a.m. May 13 at the same church with burial to follow at 11 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.

BEN LARRAGOITE, 75, of Santa Fe died Monday.
He served in the U.S. Navy and was as a member of the Santa Fe Police Department. He also worked for the U.S. Postal Service and for various businesses in Santa Fe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Armando Sr. and Paula Larragoite; and brothers, Armando and Mariano Larragoite.
He is survived by his sisters, Dolores Bussell of Alameda, Calif., Amelia Brown of Portland, Ore., and Fannie Romero; brothers, Alfonso and wife Eva, Philip and wife Margaret, Claude Valentine of Oklahoma City, and Gilbert and Marjorie of Albuquerque; and many other relatives and friends.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Carmelite Nuns, Heart Association, or the charity of your choice.
