URBAN C. WEIDNER JR., 76, of Santa Fe, died Tuesday. He was born May 29, 1927, in Pittsburgh. He married Margaret Esser in New Kensington, Pa. He received his bachelor's degree in architecture from the Carnegie Institute. He served in the U.S. Navy (1945-1946) was self-employed as an architect and was licensed in New Mexico, California and Colorado. He moved to Santa Fe in 1953. Accomplished architectural work included: churches in Penasco, Clovis, Santa Fe, Pojoaque, Rio Rancho, Roswell and various schools, public buildings, health care facilities, private residences and remodels throughout the state. He received the Archbishop Lamy Medal for renovations of St. Francis Cathedral. He was a past president of the Santa Fe chapter of American Institute of Architects, a member of the Arbitration Association and served on the Santa Fe Urban Renewal Commission. He was a member of Catholic Social Services of Santa Fe, the Elks and the Eagles. He was also a volunteer with the Santa Fe Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his parents, Urban C. and Rosalia Weidner; and brother, Richard Weidner. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Margaret Weidner; children, Kathyrn Jordan of Littleton, Colo., Roy Weidner and wife Mary of Santa Fe, Debbie Dusenbury of Albuquerque, Bernice Gamboa and husband Ron of Las Cruces, Marie Denison and husband Frank of San Clemente, Calif., Kurt Weidner and wife Lorrie of Santa Fe, Karen Massey and husband Steve of Carlsbad, Diane Gamboa and husband Tony of Las Cruces, Ruth Jennings and husband Dan of Denver, Margaret Rodriguez and husband Julian of Santa Fe, Lisa Wilson and husband Barry of Santa Fe, and Christa Sandoval and husband Phil of Pecos; brother, Roy Weidner and wife Lois of New Kensington, Pa.; sister, Mary Ann Kaufman and husband Gilbert of Pittsburgh, Pa.; 26 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Michael's Chapel at the College of Santa Fe, 1600 St. Michael's Drive, Santa Fe, N.M., 87505. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. today at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Funeral service will be at 9 a.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. ALFONSO ALQUIN CORDOVA JR. (ARKIE), 33, of Santa Fe, and originally of Gallina, died Monday. He is survived by his parents, Alfonso and Eufelia Cordova of Gallina; fiance, Sharon Brooks of Santa Fe; six sisters, Emily Martinez and hsuband Donald, Donna Hernandez, Julia Salazar and husband Fermin, Grace Cordova all of Gallina, Anna Maria and husband Jr. of Española, Clariza Cordova of Rio Rancho; and many other relatives and friends. Public visitation will be at 3:30 p.m. today at the Christian Faith Fellowship Church in Gallina with a devotional service to be held at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the same church with burial to follow at Capulin Cemetery in Capulin. GUMI J. DEYAPP, 56, of Chama, died Tuesday. He served in the armed services during the Vietnam era and was a business owner for 32 years. He was preceded in death by his dad, Lucillo DeYapp; and brother, Amos DeYapp. He is survived by his wife, Gloria DeYapp of the home; three sons, Gumi DeYapp Jr. of Bloomfield, Darren DeYapp and Michelle of Chama, and Tim DeYapp of Chama; one daughter, Leann DeYapp of Chama; four grandchildren; his mother, Cleo DeYapp of Chama; brothers and sisters, Lucy DeYapp of Grand Junction, Colo., Jimmy DeYapp, Bobby DeYapp and wife Frances, Betty Martin, Maggie DeYapp, Clarence DeYapp and Sofia, Larkin DeYapp and wife Betty, Vangie DeYapp, Larry DeYapp and wife Esther, and Robert DeYapp all of Chama; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Thursday and a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. at the St. Patrick Church in Chama. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Chama Community Church. ROSENDO DOMINGUEZ, of Lakeview, Texas, and native of Villanueva, died Sunday. He was born on March 1, 1924, in Valentiur, Texas, to the late Carlos Dominguez and Guadalupe Medrano. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Manuel and Juan Dominguez; two sisters, Cuca Rivera and Maria Nichols; father and mother-in-law, Jose Maria Ramirez and Natividad Martinez Ramirez; and nephews, Joaquin and Arturo Dominguez. He is survived by his wife, Cecilia Dominguez of the family home; daughters, Maria Louise Dominguez and Daniel Torres of Pampa, Texas, Maria Jesus Garcia and Patricio, and Sara Herrera and Juan, all of Lovington; sons, Ramon and Emma Dominguez, and Alejandro Dominguez and Blanca all of Lovington; grandchildren, Emily Mackey, Reina Torres and other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Ventura Juarez and Vicente of Andrews, Texas, Maria Jesus Carasco and Jesus of Lovington; brother, Teodoso Dominguez and Macaria of Pecos, Texas; and many other relatives and friends. KRIS HANSEN, 60, died Monday unexpectedly. Kristinn Ingi Hansen was born June 29, 1943, to Sigrid Saetersmoen Hansen and Skuli Eggert Hansen. Having lived in Reykjavik, Iceland, until he was 9 years old, he moved to the United States in 1952. He graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was president of his fraternity, Delta Upsilon, and was an avid Longhorn fan. He served six years in the Naval Reserves. He worked for IBM for 30 years as a senior systems engineer, retiring in 1998, and then continued with IBM as a contractor for the Information Systems Division at the state. He and his family moved to Santa Fe from Texas in 1979 and have since considered it their home. He was president of the Northern New Mexico Soccer Association and member of the board for several years, contributing countless hours to the sport of soccer. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Joyce Darling Hansen; and his children, Kristin Vidalin Hansen, Robert Harald Hansen, and Richard Skuli Hansen; one grandchild; mother, Sigrid Hansen; and brother, Gunnar Hansen. MIQUELITA "MAME" MONTOYA, 83, of Las Vegas, N.M., died Monday at her home following an extended illness. She was born in Canada De Carro on August 7, 1920, to the late Serbando Bustos and Salome Trujillo Bustos. She was united in marriage on May 27, 1939, at the St. Gertrude Church in Mora to the late Roman Montoya. A lifelong Catholic, she was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church and a member of the Mora-San Miguel Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her parents, Serbando and Salome Bustos; husband, Roman Montoya; sons, Leo and Michael Montoya; brother, Edumeñio Bustos. She is survived by her daughters and son, Carmen Price and husband Gary of Rio Rancho, Martha Fernandez and husband Reynel of Albuquerque, Mary Garcia and husband Gilbert of Wagon Mound, Theresa Martinez and husband Nelson of Peñasco, and Lucy Montoya of Taos, Daniel Montoya of Las Vegas, N.M., and Josie Gallegos and husband James of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 26 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister, Sinforosa Lucero and husband Aladino of Denver, Colo.; brothers, Albert Bustos and wife Grace of Albuquerque, and Ferdinando Bustos and wife Rose of Denver, Colo.; and many other relatives and friends. JUAN B. TRUJILLO, 93, died Saturday. He was born in Las Trampas on Feb. 21, 1910, and lived in Embudo most of his life. He was a member of the Laborers International Union No. 16 of Española and retired from the Zia Corporation of Los Alamos in 1972. He was preceded in death by his wife, Serbana Griego Trujillo; mother, Margarita Trujillo; son, Jose Faustino Trujillo; brother, Porfirio Trujillo; sister, Lupe Trujillo Lujan; daughter, Edna Trujillo Martin and husband Richard; sister, Alvina Trujillo-Valdez; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. A devotional service will be at 7 p.m. today at the Apostolic Praise Temple Church in Dixon. JOHNNY ORLANDO ARCHULETA, 55, of Abiquiu, died Monday following a lengthy illness at St. Joseph's Hospital in Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fidel and Octaviana Archuleta of Abiquiu. He is survived by the mother of his children, Margie Benavidez of Chimayó; daughters, Cindy Burrell of Chimayó, Michelle Maldonado and husband Enrique of Phoenix; sons, Juan Archuleta, Eugene Burrell and Manuel Benavidez, all of Chimayó; eight grandchildren; sisters, Toni Trujillo and husband Reyneld of Albuquerque, Annie Valdez and husband Eli of Santa Fe, Angie Lopez and husband Lalo of Las Vegas, N.M., Connie Archuleta of California, Bae Lang of California, Sally Chaff and husband Hank of California; and many other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be recited at 7 tonight at the St. Thomas Catholic Church in Abiquiu.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the same church.

FRANCESCA LENORE BENAVIDEZ, 29, of Denver for the past five years and former resident of Lansing, Mich., died Sunday in Denver. She was born in Springer on March 9, 1974, to Horacio Benavidez and Susan Rehders. She was a culinary manager at the poor house in downtown Denver. She also attended modeling school when she was younger. She was preceded in death by her brother, Nicholas Alexander Benavidez; maternal grandmother, Billye Nell Rehders; paternal grandparents, Miguel and Avedona Benavidez; infant sister, Christina Benavidez; and uncle, Ben Benavidez. She is survived by her father, Horacio Benavidez of Montezuma; mother, Susan Schimberg and husband Bill of Delaware, Ohio; brothers, Max Benavidez and fiancé Rufina Sena of Montezuma, and Mark Benavidez and wife Monique of Phoenix; sisters, Cynthia Harville of Denver, and Michelle Stevensen and husband Andrew of Okinawa, Japan; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. today at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Cremation has taken place and interment of the cremains will follow at the Benavidez Family Plot in Montezuma. Rogers Mortuary.

ANALISA ALICA MARTINEZ, infant daughter of Max and Charlotte Martinez, died Tuesday.

DINO PADILLA, 24, of Santa Fe, died Wednesday from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born Dec. 24, 1978, in Española.
He attended school in Santa Fe, and was employed at Las Campanas Golf Club.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bernardino Salazar.
He is survived by his mother, June Leyba and fiancé Martin Montoya; father, David Leyba; brothers, David Padilla and fiance Monica Varela and son, and Marcus Leyba; sister, Brittnai Leyba; his biological father, Joseph Padilla; and many other relatives and friends.
A prayer service will be at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Christian Life Fellowship, 121 Siringo Road.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Christian Life Fellowship.
