WILBURN "SANDY" WAYNE HAAG
Wilburn "Sandy" Wayne Haag, 60, of Edgewood passed away Feb. 15, 2008 at home with his loving family beside him. Sandy was born July 7, 1947, in Artesia, N.M., to John Frederick and Bessie (McClure) Haag. Sandy was a member of the First Christian Church. Sandy was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by sisters, Mary Beverage of Arizona; Barbara Welsh of Edgewood; nieces, Laura Sandison and husband David of Edgewood; Beth Lynn and husband Eugene of Silver City; nephews, Warren Welsh; Fred Beverage and wife Karlene; Kevin Beverage; great nieces and nephews, Bonnie Welsh; Tyler Sandison; James Sandison; James Welsh; Emily Welsh (Emily was Sandy's Godchild); Jessey W. Simpson; Jason Beverage; Brittany Beverage; John Beverage; Justin Beverage; Sister Bobbie Gibbons. A Memorial Service was held Feb. 20 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Edgewood; Donald Ellibee officiated.

CORY ARAGON
Cory Aragon died Feb. 24, 2008 at his home at the age of 23.
Cory was a young man with a gentle spirit and a cheerful and pleasant disposition. He was a hard worker who gave of himself freely. He loved playing music and being with family. Cory was a very talented writer.
Cory was an active member of the First Mountain Chapter of ABATE and shortly after joining the New Mexico Motorcyclists Rights Organizations (NMMRO) he took on the duties of secretary in that organization. He was very passionate about motorcycle rights and he was in the process of putting together his first bill to be presented to the legislators next year.
Cory will be sorely missed by both his ABATE and NMMRO families. He will be remembered as a wonderful son, brother, uncle, and friend.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Kathy Aragon; his brothers Damon Frank Anthony Aragon, Sean Ryan and Greg Ryan; and nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held at The Canyon de Carnuel Land Grant
Hall on March 2.
RICHARD WILLIAM RUHN
Richard William Ruhn, 54, of Edgewood passed away on March 1, 2008 at his home in Edgewood.
Richard was born on Feb. 15, 1954, in Aurora, Ill., to William Robert and Virginia Florence (Tidholm) Ruhn. Richard was preceded in death by his father. Richard is survived by his mother, Virginia Ruhn; Spouse, Arlene Wolfe; daughters, Sarah Ruhn; Katherine Ruhn; stepdaughters, Alexis Wolfe; Alexis Whitesell; grandmother Tidholm of Aurora, Ill.; and sister, Laura Isaacson. A Viewing will be held on March 7 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel in Moriarty. Funeral Services will be held March 9 at 10 a.m. at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel in Moriarty.

CAROL FRANCES MUDD
Carol Frances Mudd, 68, of Edgewood passed away March 6, 2008 at her home in Edgewood with her loving family beside her.
Carol was born November 28, 1939, in Louisville, Ky., to Charles and Margret (Pope) Wright. She was preceded in death by her parents. Carol is survived by her son, Larry Darnell; daughters, Phyllis Russell; Cyn-D Darnell; brother, Charles Wright; sisters, Marti Martinez; Peggy Munford; six grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held March 12 at the Mudd/Russell Family Home; Pastor H.M. Sams officiated.

GUADALUPE ANGIANO RAMIREZ
Guadalupe Angiano Ramirez, 71, of McIntosh passed away March 15, 2008 with her loving family beside her.
Guadalupe was born Dec. 25, 1936, to Gregorio and Francisa (Salinas) Angiano. Guadalupe married Reyes Vela Ramirez on Oct. 11, 1958, in Stanton, Texas, and was a member of the East Mountain Assembly of God Church in Moriarty. Guadalupe was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Reyes; sons, Reyes Ramirez Jr., George Ramirez, Jose Ramirez, Ramereo Ramirez; daughters, Maria Rosas, Francisca Frausto, Mary Lou Ramirez, Christina Ramirez, Romona Rodgriquez, Lupe Esparza; sisters, Paline Rodriques, Manuela Flores, Chavela Carnero, Juanita Ramirez; 43 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Viewing was March 17 and March 18 at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel in Moriarty. Funeral services were scheduled March 19 at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty. Pastor Larry Cox officiated. Interment followed at the McIntosh Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ildefonso Galindo, Juan Galindo, Emilio Ramirez, Reynaldo Montoya, David Reggaro, Manuel Gonzales, Reyes Ramirez III, Antonio Tarango and Efren Olivas.

VINCENT ALBERT TRUJILLO
Vincent Albert Trujillo, 19, of Moriarty passed away March 15, 2008 in Colorado Springs.
Vincent was born June 7, 1988, in Albuquerque to Andrew and Juanita Trujillo. Vincent was a cavalry scout for the U.S. Army and was also a member of the Holy Child Catholic Parish in Tijeras. Vincent is survived by his parents, sisters, Andrea Trujillo; Valentina Trujillo; grandparents, Serafin Trujillo and Viola Rodriquez; Lupe Jinzo and wife Betty; Roger Chips and wife Susan; uncles, Abel Trujillo; Anthony Trujillo; and aunt Anna Rodriquez.
A funeral service was held March 25 at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty. A rosary will be recited Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the Holy Child Catholic Parish in Tijeras. Mass will be celebrated after the rosary at 10 a.m. at the church, with Father Granito officiating. Interment will follow at the San Antonito Catholic Cemetery in Sandia Park. Pallbearers will be the U.S. Army Honor Guard.

PABLO FIGUEROA
On March 21, 2008, Pablo Figueroa, 73, of San Antonito went home to be with our Lord.
Pablo was born in Guayama, Puerto Rico. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Maria Edwina Sanchez; his children, Anthony Paul Figueroa and spouse Leah of Colorado; Yvonne Williams and spouse Roary; Mary Figueroa; Luana Figueroa; Roberta Chavez and spouse Ted; and Master Sgt. Martin T. Figueroa, who is stationed in Taji, Iraq.
He has 17 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Pablo was buried in San Antonio Cemetery alongside his son, Felipe.
MANUEL E. "IKIE" SANCHEZ
Manuel E. "Ikie" Sanchez, 95, a lifetime resident of Estancia, went to be with our Lord on March 31, 2008.
Manuel was born to Juan Cruz and Rita Sanchez on February 18, 1913. He graduated from Estancia High School and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. After the military service he worked for the post office in Estancia with his brother, Robert, until his retirement. He continued to reside in Estancia until his death.
Manuel was preceded in death by his parents and was the last surviving sibling of five brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife Evelina, a stepson, Larry, and five step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren and many loyal and loving nephews and nieces. A viewing was held April 2 at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel in Moriarty. A rosary was recited April 2 at the St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Estancia.
A mass will be celebrated April 3 at the St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Estancia at 10 a.m. with Father William Young officiating. Interment will follow at the Estancia Catholic Cemetery in Estancia. Pallbearers will be Ermenes Perea, Johnny Chavez, Gilbert Zamora, Pat Gallegos, Don Vigil and Bob Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers will be Margaret Sanchez, Albert Carabajal, Charlie Tafoya, Tony Tafoya, Richard Tafoya and Larry Zamora.
