JAMES A. RODGERS JR.
James A. Rodgers Jr., 84, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away March 12, 2007 in Wichita Falls.
James was born Feb. 21, 1923, in Lordsburg to James A. and Willie (McFarland) Rodgers Sr. He married Thelma Bealmear in Lordsburg in 1946. He was a retired naval officer, serving in WWII and the Korean War. He was also a Mason.
After retiring from the military Mr. Rodgers moved his family back to New Mexico, raising his children in Estancia.
James is survived by his son, Albert Chancy Rodgers of Estancia; daughters, Elaine Webster of Hereford, Texas, Darla and husband Leonard Woodruff of Wichita Falls; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Rodgers, and granddaughter, Cheryl Rodgers.
A viewing will be held March 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel in Moriarty. Funeral services will be Marc 16 at 10 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Estancia with Virgil Higgins officiating. Interment will follow at the Estancia Cemetery.

PAUL T.A. WILFRID
Paul T.A. Wilfrid, 91, of Edgewood passed away March 14, 2007 in Albuquerque with his loving family beside him.
Paul was born April 4, 1915, in Mount Jewett, Pa., to Adolf and Johanna (Pearson) Wilfrid. Paul married Merle O. Laudeman on May 23, 1944.
Paul is survived by his wife, Merle O. Wilfrid of the home; sons, Lawrence Wilfrid and wife June of Rahway, N.J., Kenneth Wilfrid and wife Patty of Rahway; daughters, Linda Green and husband Peter of Carbondale, Colo., Lee Wilfrid and Wayne Reeves of Tijeras, Paula Roberts and husband Andy of Colonia, N.J.; brother, Fred Wilfrid and wife, Alice; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Beatrice Wilfrid; and brothers, Luther Wilfrid, Phillip Wilfrid and Lynn Wilfrid.
A viewing was held Friday at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel in Moriarty. A funeral were Saturday at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Edgewood with Pastor Spoomer officiating. Services were also held Tuesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Linden, N.J. Interment followed Tuesday at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth, N.J.

HELEN CLAUDINE McDONOUGH
Helen Claudine McDonough, 49, of Tijeras passed away March 15, 2007 in Albuquerque.
Helen was born Dec. 19, 1957, in Albuquerque to Everett and Alma (White) Loyd. She married Dwight McDonough on Feb. 11, 1978, at the Community Church of the Sandias.
Helen was a lifelong resident of the East Mountains area. She graduated from MHS in 1975 then pursued a career in electronics. Kind-hearted and loving, her presence will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Helen is survived by her parents, Everett and Alma Loyd of Tijeras; husband, Dwight McDonough of Tijeras; son, Erik McDonough and wife, Holly, of Connecticut; daughter, Lori McKellar and husband, Sam, of Ft. Campbell, Ky.; and brother, Nathan Loyd of Tijeras.
Graveside services were held Monday at the Mountain Valley Cemetery in Edgewood.

JASPER PETER JOHANSON JR.
Jasper Peter Johanson Jr., 82, of Moriarty passed away March 16, 2007 in Albuquerque.
Jasper was born Dec. 25, 1924, in Lanesboro, Minn., to Jasper Peter and Ruby (Blanchard) Johanson Sr. Jasper was a member of the Shrine Club, VFW Post 49, Ike Cole Post 3370 and the Carriage Club.
Jasper is survived by his wife and companion of 17 years, Marilyn (Leikam) Johanson of Moriarty; sons, Robert Johanson of Edgewood, Ronald Johanson and wife Karen of Edgewood; daughters, Debbie Johanson and Greg Bardouche of Albuquerque, Jodi Johanson and Shawn Wagner of Edgewood; sisters, Beverly Stillman, Janice Headley; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel in Moriarty. Interment followed at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe.

LOLA MARIE FISHER
Lola Marie Fisher, 91, of Mountainair passed away March 18, 2007 in Mountainair.
Lola was born Dec. 27, 1915, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Floyd and Lillie (Fulfer) Anglin. Lola married William (Bill) Fisher on Aug. 16, 1937, in Estancia.
Lola is survived by her son, Jimmie Fisher and wife, Diana, of Aztec, N.M.; daughters, Phyllis Kubena and husband Jr. of Mountainair, Norma Petty and husband, Art, of Brighton, Colo.; brother, J.W. Anglin of Mountainair; sister, Yvonne Smith of Mountainair; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and daughter, Betty June Fisher.
Services were held Wednesday at the Assembly of God Campgrounds in Mountainair with Ben Cheney officiating.

PAULINE ROSE McCLOUD
Pauline Rose McCloud, 88, of Cedarvale passed away March 18, 2007 at her home in Cedarvale.
Pauline was born Dec. 31, 1918, in Cedarvale to William Charles and Nora Elizabeth (Tonkinson) Smith. Pauline married Everett Holt (Pete) McCloud on Feb. 23, 1928, and he preceded her in death on May 15, 1980.
Pauline was a member of the First Baptist Church in Corona and the Cedarvale Quilting Club and was a Pythian Sister.
She is survived by her daughters, Nora Ann Odell and husband, Alfred, of Chattanooga, Tenn., Mildred Faye Criddle and husband, Bill, of Jumping Branch, W.Va., Gayle May of Corona, Bonnie Belle Lackey and husband, James, of Aztec, Shirley Dix and husband, Phil, of Cedarvale; brother, Frank Smith; sister, Madeline Shannon; 17 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Leroy McCloud; grandson, Richard Coy McCloud; granddaughter, Jenifer May; and brother, Leon Smith.
Viewings will be held today from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel in Moriarty and Friday at 9 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Corona. Funeral Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Corona with Cal West officiating. Interment will follow at the Cedarvale Cemetery in Cedarvale.
