INEZ EVELYN METZGER
Inez Evelyn Metzger, 95, of Estancia passed away Dec. 17, 2007, at her home in Estancia with her loving family beside her.
Inez was born July 24, 1912, in Quinter, Kan., to Daniel and Catherine (Bingaman) Ikenberry. Inez married Wayne S. Metzger on Jan. 16, 1932. He preceded her in death in 1989.
Inez was a member of the Estancia Home Makers, Pythian Sisters and the Church of the Brethren.
Inez is survived by her son, Jerry Metzger and wife Rowena of Estancia; daughter, Lorena Coburn and husband Duane of Estancia; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and a great-granddaughter, Shainne Leigh Riley.
Graveside funeral services will be held today at 10:30 a.m. at the Estancia Cemetery in Estancia with Doris Jaquis and Shirley Sweat officiating.

LUCIA FAY DAVIS
Lucia Fay Davis, 73, of Moriarty passed away Dec. 18, 2007, in Albuquerque.
Lucia was born Aug. 28, 1934, in Denison, Texas, to Charles and Anna (Corzine) Lewis.
Lucia is survived by her daughter, Cindi Jones and husband Geno of Moriarty; sister, Opal Walker and husband Larry of Washington; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Lucia was preceded in death by her parents and son, Steven Sullivan.
Arrangements for cremation entrusted to Harris-Hanlon Mortuary, Moriarty.

DAHRELL NORRIS
Dahrell Norris, 61, of McIntosh passed away Dec. 15, 2007, after a courageous battle with liver disease.
Dahrell was born Dec. 15, 1946, in Dallas, Texas, where he resided until January 2005. He was a working musician since 1960. He had been with several known groups in the music business and was also a studio drummer.
Dahrell is survived by his two daughters, Shawna Popp and husband Eddie of Ennis, Texas, and Lucy and partner Jason Wolford of Seattle, Wash.; four grandchildren, Anamda Norris and Alex, Alaura and Anna Popp; a sister, Danice May of McIntosh; and a brother, Dwight Norris of Midway, Utah.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and Mary Norris of Dallas.
Dahrell was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Cremation has occurred. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Estancia branch of the LDS Church with branch president Virgil Higgins conducting.
Donations can be made to the Presbyterian Hospice program, 8300 Constitution NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.

KATHERINE DAVILINE EADER
Katherine Daviline Eader, 85, of Moriarty passed away Dec. 20, 2007, in Albuquerque.
Katherine was born Jan. 30, 1922, in Colorado Springs, to Raymond and Louise May (Worthing) Anderson. Katherine married William David Eader in Roswell on Jan. 14, 1953. He preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 1971.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and sister, Elizabeth Olson.
Katherine is survived by her son, David Eader and wife Anna Riggs of Moriarty; daughter, Beth Ann Eader of Roswell; and sisters, Arabella Bowers and Louise Luscombe.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Church of the Holy Cross Episcopal Church with Rev. Raymond Raney officiating. Interment will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at South Park Cemetery in Roswell.
Memorial donations may be made to the Torrance County 4-H Council, P.O. Box 168. Estancia, NM 87016.

AUBREY WELDON FARMER
Aubrey Weldon Farmer, 75, of Bosque Farms passed away at his home on Dec. 12, 2007, with his loving family by his side.
Aubrey was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9676 in Los Lunas. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served his country during the Korean conflict. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing guitar and listening to talk radio.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Yvonne Farmer; sons, Lewis Farmer and his companion, Dorothy Ward of Veguita, and Wayne Farmer and wife Kris of Aztec; daughter, Darla Chavez of Los Lunas; grandchildren, Aubrey Farmer, Jessica Farmer, Gabriel Chavez, Adam Chavez, Justin Farmer, Kaitlyn Farmer and Kayli Farmer; his sister, Marie Veretto, and her daughter, Linda Lucero, and her companion, Gene Swabb, of Bosque Farms; and several nieces and nephews.
Aubrey was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Verdie Farmer; and three brothers, Pete Farmer, Marvin Farmer and Ronald Farmer.
A celebration of Aubrey's life was held Dec. 16 at the First Baptist Church of Bosque Farms with the Rev. Sid West officiating.
The family requests contributions to the Building Fund of the First Baptist Church of Bosque Farms, 1350 Bosque Farms Blvd., Bosque Farms, NM 87068.

JAMES BRYCE WYCHE
James Bryce Wyche (J.B.), 90, affectionately known as "Jay-Pa" after his grandchildren were born, quietly passed away on Dec. 25, 2007, surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
James was born in Roswell on Jan. 31, 1917, to Seth and Jessie Wyche and was the oldest of six children. J.B. moved from Roswell at age 8 with his family to homestead land in Pie Town, N.M. In early 1940 he moved with his new bride to Albuquerque, where he worked for the Santa Fe Railroad. In 1949 he went to work for the Albuquerque Publishing Company. He retired in 1986 after 37 years but continued to work for APC as a consultant. At age 75, J.B. followed his dream of moving back to the country and built a home in Stanley. J.B. was a lifetime member of the NRA and North American Hunting; he was also an avid hunter and expert marksman.
Jay is survived by his wife of 68 years, Nelline; his two children, Fred and his wife Monica and Martha and her husband Dennis; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Elizabeth Bratcher.
Funeral services were held Friday at the Stanley Union Church with Pastor Richard Hyman, Pastor Carl Dahl and Pastor David Mitchell officiating. Interment followed at the Stanley Cemetery in Stanley.
Memorial donations may be made to the Stanley Union Church building fund.
