The family of Mr. Arthur A. Crespin wishes to thank all their relatives and friends who were in attendance of the Rosary and Funeral services for Mr. Crespin. Kevin Albert DeVaney, 34, died unexpectedly on July 3, 1999, at his home in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque. He was born September 23, 1964 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Walter & Matilda DeVaney. He is survived by both parents; his maternal grandmother, Mary Spegar of Scranton Pennsylvania; four brothers, Dennis DeVaney, Mark DeVaney and wife, Carla, Richard DeVaney, all of Albuquerque, and Mike DeVaney and wife, Paula of Meridian, Idaho; two nephews, Lucas and Jerrod; a niece, Krystal; two great-nephews, Kyle and Michael Jerrod; a great-niece Emily; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at French Mortuary, Thursday July 8, 1999 at 3:30 p.m. at the 1111 University Blvd NE.

Raul D. Dominguez, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, 75 who passed away and went to be with his Lord on July 4, 1999. Raul was born September 7, 1923 the son of Ralph and Guadalupe Darwood-Caro Dominguez in Wilmington, California. As a youth, Raul was one of the most accomplished athletes in southern California. Overcoming childhood polio, he became an allstate athlete in several sports including football, gymnastics, baseball, and swimming. After serving in the US Army in WW II, he graduated from Northern Arizona State University, achieving the highest in academic honors and was a member of the Blue Key and Epsilon Pi Tau National and International Honor Societies. He received his Civil Service Commission in 1960 and served until his retirement. He retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital where he served as Chief of Professional Administrative Branch in Albuquerque and had a distinguished medical career as a rehabilitation therapist. Raul was an active member of the LULAC Council 8020 for 16 years. During this time he held the positions of council Vice President and District Director. Because of the many years of support to education and the community, there is an annual LULAC educational scholarship awarded in his honor. Raul was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Emily. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Christina (Martinez) Dominguez; four sons, Kevin, Orae Paul, Ronald and his fiancee, Patricia Herrera, and Roland and his former wife, Carl; three daughters, Stephanie Coleman and husband Allen, Rebecca Long and husband James, Renee Garcia and husband Andrew; ten grandchildren, Monica and Dennis Romero, David and Jessica Dominguez, Adriana, Jordan and Grant Long, Desiree Casaus, Nathan Garcia and Sarah Dominguez; and two great-grandchildren, Celina Torres and Vanessa Romero. Also surviving are his brother, Manuel and wife Helen of Chino, CA, Ralph, Jr. and wife Evelia of Ontario, CA; two sisters, Jennie Felix and Sophie Huerta and husband Louis, all of Buena Park, CA. Rual will be greatly missed by his loving family, friends and acquaintances. A Visitation will be held this evening, Wednesday;, July 7, 1999 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 8, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe. Pallbearers will be Allen Coleman, James Long, Andrew Garcia, Dennis Romero, David Dominguez, and Steve Huerta. Military honors will be provided by the DAV Veterans Honor Guard #3 of Albuquerque. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho.

Marion Y. Filichia, loving wife of Joseph L. Filichia, died July 4, 1999 at the age of 77 years. She is also survived by her loving children, James Filichia of Jacksonville, FL, Frances V. Hamming of Wilmette, IL, Mary Dee Filichia of San Rafael, CA; and seven grandchildren. Rosary will be recited 5:00 p.m. and Memorial Mass celebrated 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 7, 1999 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, located at Lomas and Tennessee NE. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Vincent de Paul in care of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, were in charge of cremation arrangements.

Angel Flores, 77, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past seven years, passed away on Sunday, July 4,1999. Angel was born August 2, 1921 the son of Juan and Raquel Gomez Flores in Camp Gaillard, in the Canal Zone. He served in the US Navy during WW II. Angel had been an accountant with accounting firms until he retired. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth of Rio Rancho; children, David Flores of Dobbs Ferry, NY and Dr. Nancy Flores of New York City, NY; two brothers, Robert and John of San Antonio, TX; two sisters, Gloria Calvert of San Antonio, TX, and Lilia Rozmeski of Tampa, FL. There will be a Prayer Service held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, 1999 in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. The Interment will be in the National Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 9, 1999 with Military Honors by the DAV Veterans Honor Guard #3 of Albuquerque. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho.

Thomas L. Gonzalez, SR. Our beloved, Thomas L. Gonzalez, Sr., was called to his eternal resting place on July 3, 1999. He was born February 28, 1919, in San Marcos, Texas.
He lived with his family in Albuquerque, New Mexico from 1956 to September 1971. He served in the Armed Forces and received an honorable discharge from the military on March 19, 1942. He was a member of the American Legion and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Organization. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Augustina Serna Gonzalez of 53 years; one son, Thomas Serna Gonzalez, Jr. and wife, Cindy of San Marcos; one daughter, Veronica J. Gonzalez of Austin, and Jessica Collazo Peppers and husband, Billy of Beaumont, Texas; two grandchildren, Michael Thomas Gonzalez and Jonathan Alexander Gonzalez of San Marcos. He is also survived by one brother, Frank D. Gonzalez of Austin; and two sisters, Tomasa Gonzalez Cuellar and husband, Gilbert of San Antonio, and Aurelia Gonzalez Tamayo and husband, Gabriel of Manchaca, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many God-children. He is preceded in death by his mother, Inocente DeLeon Gonzalez,; his father, Francisco A. Gonzalez; two brothers, Emilio Gonzalez and Federico D. Gonzalez; and one sister, Trine Gonzalez Martinez. Pallbearers will be: Eddie Garcia, Bert Serna, Alex Garza, Ben Peralez, Henry Serna, Edwin Rincon, Oscar Martinez and Ray Garza. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will take place at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 7, 1999 at Pennington Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, July 8, 1999, at St. John's Catholic Church in San Marcos. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m., at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.

Donald Wilbur Grince, 76, a resident of Albuquerque for 16 years, passed into the arms of his Heavenly Father on Monday, July 5, 1999. Don was born on March 19, 1923, in Toledo, Ohio where he resided until his retirement from Libbey Owens Ford in 1983. He was a decorated World War II veteran and 32nd Degree Mason for over 50 years. Don belonged to Harbor Light Lodge of Toledo and Temple 6 Lodge of Albuquerque. He was also a current member of the Scottish Rite Body of Toledo and St. Luke Lutheran Church in Albuquerque. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Ruth Grince of Toledo, OH. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Penny (Ella Mae) Grince; daughters, Patricia Schuman and husband, Marvin of St. Louis, MO and Barbara L. Shirrod and husband, Terry of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Christina and Kimberley Shirrod of Albuquerque; brother, Jack Grince of Toledo, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. Don was a loving husband, parent, and grandfather and an avid senior bowler. He will be remembered by all for his wonderful sense of humor and his love of life, family, friends, and God. He will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 7, at 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, July 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at French Mortuary - Lomas Blvd Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd, NE. Services will be Friday, July 9, at 10:00 a.m. at the Sunset Memorial Park, Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum, 924 Menaul Blvd, NE with Pastor David Cruson officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Don Grince's name to Kaseman Presbyterian Hospital's in patient Hospice Unit, 8300 Constitution, NE, Albuquerque, NM. Lucille Harless, age 95, born September 25, 1903 in Dallas, Texas, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, July 4, 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Harless; and children, Helen Harless, John A. Harless, Pelma Jean Medders, and Jimmie Harless. She is survived by three daughters, Mae Brazfield, Sue Luther and husband, Bill, both of Mountainair, and Christine Lowe of Albuquerque; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. She will lie in state Wednesday, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, from the chapel of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery with her grandchildren serving as casket bearers. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE, are in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations to The New Mexico Girls and Boys Ranch, Belen, NM 87002.

Mary Nee Jarincik, Born June 17, 1919 at Central City PA, passed away July 4, 1999 at St. Francis Gardens nursing home, Albuquerque, NM. She is survived by spouse, John Heuft; and eight children, Julia, John Jr., Jerome, Jeffrie, Jacqueline Mary, Joseph, Jan Thomas, and Jarard. Also grieving are 13 grandchildren. Cremation by Sunrise Society. No flowers. Condolences can take the form of donations to your favorite charity. No funeral services will be held. Rosary remembrance will be announced by Marianist Society, of which she was a long time member. She was also closely associated with Cannosion nuns. Rest in peace.

Robert W. Klausen, 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1960, died Saturday, July 3, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Jane Brogdon Klausen; daughter, Diane Y. Headrick and her son, Alex Headrick of Littleton, CO; brother, Raymond A. Klausen and wife, Betty of Whittier, CA; nieces, Kristy Stephenson of Ontario, CA and Marcia Vasquez of Corona Del Mar, CA and their families; step-son, David Brogdon and his wife, Stephanie and their children, Zachary and Sarah of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his wife, Muriel in 1982; and son, Larry in 1972. Robert enjoyed a good game of golf, traveling, music and writing. Services will be held Thursday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming NE, with Chaplain Lemuel M. Boyles, officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Wednesday, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Mildred L. Lobley, 79, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, July 4, 1999. She is survived by her husband, James W. Lobley; son, Dennis C. Lobley and wife, Patsy of Los Lunas; brother, Donald Rush and wife, Marjorie of Hood River, OR; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Friday, 10:00 a.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with Pastor Jerry Johnson officiating. Pallbearers will be Craig Huston, Chris Huston, John Kopchick, Dennis K. Lobley, Timothy Lobley and Michael Lobley. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Joan Judith McDonough, 64, a resident of Albuquerque passed away July 5, 1999 at home. She was born May 19, 1935 in Aberdeen, South Dakota to James and Judith Blomster of rural Wetonka, South Dakota. She is survived by her husband, Richard E. McDonough; her daughter, Kimberly J. and husband, Marco DeFillippis, from Rio Rancho, New Mexico; a brother John and wife Sally Blomster of Wetonka, South Dakota; a sister, Janice and husband Gene Coats of Eldon, Missouri; two nieces, Debra Hostetter of Topeka, Kansas, Michelle Benjamin of Columbia, Missouri, Britt Pickrel of Denver, Colorado, Bridgette Blomster in Peace Corps Namibia, Africa and returned to the USA on November 1998; three nephews, Michael Hostetter of Columbia, Missouri, John Erik Blomster and Jay Blomster Wetonka, South Dakota. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joy Peterson; and nephew, Dru. She graduated from Ipswich High School, Ipswich South Dakota in 1953. She attended Huron College, Huron, South Dakota 1953-1955. She worked at Black Hills Ordnance Depot, Igloo South Dakota from 1957-1962. She gave birth to Kimberly in 1967 and resided in Albuquerque, New Mexico since 1973. She attended Kirtland Air Force Base Chapel, was active in choirs and Protestant Women of the Chapel. A member of Enchanted Mesa Chorus of Sweet Adelines International, 1979-1997. She worked for Indian Arts and Crafts Association from 1987-1993. pallbearers are Bill Nerris, Bill Johnson, Don Brynes, Clausel McCorkle, Max Chastain, Dick Toliver. Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave SE in charge of arrangements.

Gregorio J. Montano, 81, a beloved and devoted and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother was called home to be with the Lord Monday, June 5, 1999. Mr. Montano was born on March 4, 1918 in Belen, NM to Elfegio and Irene Montano; he was a parishioner of San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas, NM. He is survived by his loving wife Louisa Montano of the family home; one son, Ricky Montano; one daughter, Irene Torres; four step-daughters, Lucy Barela and husband Paul, Gloria Garcia, Dolores Ruiz and Nancy Lerma; tow step-sons, Richard Barela and wife Virginia and Danny Barela and Judy; 25 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. A Rosary will be recited this evening at 8:00 p.m. at San Clemente Catholic church in Los Lunas. Mass of Christian will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at San Clemente Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Gilbert Rivera, Wilfred Nieto, Jerome Artiaga, Robert Lerma, Ralph Espinoza and Daniel Barela. Funeral services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave., SW. 243-5222

Joseph (Joe) Mueller, 72, a resident of Rio Rancho for 7 years passed away at his home Saturday morning. He was survived by his wife of 52 years, Ellen Mueller, his son, Joseph Mueller, and his daughter Kristine Jaureguiberry. He was also survived by four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Joe was a retired electrician. He was a longtime member and active volunteer in the River's Edge One Neighborhood Association. He was dedicated to his community and took on the responsibilities of maintaining and beautifying the area. He will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place and an open house will be held at 6299 Roadrunner Loop on Wednesday, July 7, from 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an account at the Bank of America on High Resort which will be used to buy playground equipment in Joe's memory.

Funeral services for Mr. Charlie H. Padilla will be held on Wednesday from the Ascension Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at the Pajarito Cemetery. Arrangements by Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW

Concha S. Pena passed away June 26, 1999 in Fountain Valley Hospital, due to on going illnesses. A native New Mexican, 38 year resident of Albuquerque. Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ambriz and husband, Efrain from Santa Ana, CA, Liz Jokerst and husband, David from Apple Valley, CA; three sons, Carlos Rena and wife, Betty of West Minister, CA, Jerry Pena and wife, Kathy of Albuquerque and Ray Pena and wife, Donita of Albuquerque. She has 21 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Rosary will be held at San Jose Parrish at 7:00 on July 9, 1999. Funeral mass at 9:30, July 10 at San Jose Parrish. Burial services will be held in Manzano, NM at Our Lady of Sorrows Church at 12:00 noon, Saturday, July 10th. May our Mother Rest In Peace.

Edward W. L. Rush, 70, of Albuquerque, NM. Formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ died June 28, at Albuquerque VA medical center. He was born in Pohatcong Twp., NJ, November 28,1928. Son of Edward O. & Jessie (Cruickshank) Rush. He was a 1947 Grad. of P.H.S. and member of St. James Lutheran Church. He served in the U.S. Army Intelligence at Vint Hill Farms, VA in 1949 and in Korea in 1950-51. He held awards in New Mexico & New Jersey for pistol and rifle shooting. In his life of trade he worked as an Abatoirist, locally at Hineline's and Rush's. He was a Sea Captain/SCUBA instructor (president of Teach/Tour Diving Co. with Raymond Morrow and Assoc., of Nazerath, PA., also located in British Honduras, CA.) He was a photographer, published in National Geographic. He is survived by a daughter, Lisa Rush of Pohatcong, NJ; sister and brother-in-law, Shirlee and Donald Voorhees of Stewartsville, NJ; niece, Robin Glosser; and faithful friends, Mr. and Mrs. John Pompa of Albuquerque, NM. Burial took place at the National Veterans Cemetery of Santa Fe, NM from the Direct Funeral Home of Albuquerque, NM. Donations can be made to the American Heart Assoc.
