PAUL MARTIN, 86, of Albuquerque died after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Paul and Ruth Quint Martin, and all of his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Irma Southwell Martin; daughter, Barbara Ingram; son, Paul Charles Martin and wife Linda; six grandchildren; and many other relatives. He began his military career with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He retired as a major in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the reserves. He was a life member of the Retired Officers Association. A graveside service with full military honors will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. The family has requested memorial contributions be directed in his name to Santa Fe Partners In Education, P.O. Box 23374, Santa Fe, N.M., 87502. Berardinelli Family Funeral Service, 984-8600.

CORNELIO SEGOVIA, 98, of Lyden died Wednesday. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josefita Segovia; sister, Rachel Baca; sons, Ruben and Joe Segovia; daughter, Della Griego; and grandson, Joe Roy Segovia.
He is survived by daughters, Rose Segovia, and Charlotte Aragonez and husband Alvaro of Lyden; sons, Eremenes Segovia and wife Becky of Española, and Pete Segovia of Lyden; 16 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Block-Salazar Mortuary with burial to follow at the Apostolic Cemetery in Velarde. Block-Salazar Mortuary, (505) 753-2288.

MARGIE CORRIZ, 69, died Thursday after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Arthur, Leroy and Johnny; brothers, Santos Corriz and Ruben Corriz; sister, Lucy Corriz; and parents, Santos and Juanita Corriz.
She is survived by her daughters, Martha and husband Cipriano Tapia, Margaret Corriz, Sofie Gonzales, Edwina and husband Fulgencio Marquez; sons, Ruben Gonzales, Ray Corriz and Jose Valdez; sisters, Vicky, Rose, Tessie and Dolores; 18 grandchildren; and many other friends and relatives.
Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday with a rosary to be recited at 3 p.m. at Berardinelli Family Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday at Santa Maria de La Paz Catholic Church with burial to follow at Rosario Cemetery.

HOBART DURHAM JR., 69, of Santa Fe died Thursday after a short illness.
He owned De La Pena Books, which operated in Santa Fe for 30 years. He spent much of his time at his place in the Bahamas, where he was an avid spearfisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Madeleine McEvilly Durham; daughter, Mayalyn MeiRui Durham; son, Rocky Durham of Santa Fe; daughter Donna Lynn Durham of Houston, Texas; their mother, Linda Durham of Santa Fe; and sister Dorothy Vollans of Nantucket, N.Y.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at La Fonda in the La Terraza Room. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community Bank to provide for the Mayalyn Durhams educational fund.

FELONIZ GOMEZ of Alcalde died Friday.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Flavio and Ermelinda Martinez; sister, Elisa Smith; and brothers, Eloy and Tomas Martinez.
She is survived by her husband, Santiago Gomez of Alcalde; daughter, Jeanne Kay Gomez and Gabriel Aldaz; son, Glenn Gomez and wife Janelle, all of Alcalde; brother, Richard Martinez and wife Carmella of Sombrillo; and many other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Sunday at Block-Salazar Mortuary and at 7 p.m. Monday at Saint Anne's Church in Alcalde. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Saint John the Baptist Church at San Juan Pueblo with burial to follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.

MARIE KIRKPATRICK, 76, of Pecos died Tuesday.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Noble; and husband, Jay Kirkpatrick.
She was a teacher at the Pecos Schools for many years and then a receptionist for the Pecos Ranger Station. She moved to Chama, where she substituted part-time at the local school. She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega.
She is survived by her son, R.J. and wife Lisa of Corrales; daughter, Jennie of Santa Fe; son, Jeff and wife Felicia of Las Cruces; brother, Harry Noble of Ontario, Canada; four grandchildren; and many other relatives.
Per her request, there will be no memorial service.
Her ashes will be scattered along the Frying Pan River in Leadville, Colo. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to: Heart and Soul Animal Sanctuary, 369 Montezuma Ave., No. 130, Santa Fe, N.M., 87501-2626.

JOSEFA D. MILLER, 88, Ensenada died Friday.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gumercindo F. Duran; and her second husband, George L. Miller.
She is survived by her son, Gumercindo Duran of Tierra Amarilla; stepsons, Jim Miller of Colorado, and Art Miller of Missouri; one grandson; and many other relatives.
Visitation will be held at 4 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the San Jose Church in Los Ojos.
Mass will be celebrated Monday morning at the same church with burial to follow at the Los Ojos Cemetery.

He loved gardening and carpentry and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Amanda Montoya; granddaughter, Gina Marie Garcia; one sister; and four brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Flora Montoya of San Pedro; sons, Mike Montoya and wife Helen of California, Robert Montoya and wife Cristina of Nambé, and Lawrence Montoya and wife Yvonne of White Rock; daughter, Becki Garcia and husband Gene of Medanales; brothers, Pat Montoya and wife Mary of Santo Nino, and Tony Montoya and wife Margie of Fairview; sisters, Celina Martinez of El Guique and Margaret Martinez of Alcalde; eight grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at 6:30 p.m. with a rosary to follow at 7 p.m. Monday at the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at La Igelsia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada with burial to follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
