PAUL MARTIN, 86, of Albuquerque died after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Paul and Ruth Quint Martin, and all of his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Irma Southwell Martin; daughter, Barbara Ingram; son, Paul Charles Martin and wife Linda; six grandchildren; and many other relatives. He began his military career with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He retired as a major in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the reserves. He was a life member of the Retired Officers Association. CORNELIO SEGOVIA, 98, of Lyden died Wednesday. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josefita Segovia; sister, Rachel Baca; sons, Ruben and Joe Segovia; daughter, Della Griego; and grandson, Joe Roy Segovia.
He is survived by daughters, Rose Segovia, and Charlotte Aragonez and husband Alvaro of Lyden; sons, Eremenes Segovia and wife Becky of Española, and Pete Segovia of Lyden; 16 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

HOBART DURHAM JR., 69, of Santa Fe died Thursday after a short illness.
He owned De La Pena Books, which operated in Santa Fe for 30 years. He spent much of his time at his place in the Bahamas, where he was an avid spearfisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Madeleine McEvilly Durham; daughter, Mayalyn MeiRui Durham; son, Rocky Durham of Santa Fe; daughter Donna Lynn Durham of Houston, Texas; their mother, Linda Durham of Santa Fe; and sister Dorothy Vollans of Nantucket, N.Y.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at La Fonda in the La Terraza Room. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community Bank to provide for the Mayalyn Durhams educational fund.

MARIE KIRKPATRICK, 76, of Pecos died Tuesday.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Noble; and husband, Jay Kirkpatrick.
She was a teacher at the Pecos Schools for many years and then a receptionist for the Pecos Ranger Station. She moved to Chama, where she substituted part-time at the local school. She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega.
She is survived by her son, R.J. and wife Lisa of Corrales; daughter, Jennie of Santa Fe; son, Jeff and wife Felicia of Las Cruces; brother, Harry Noble of Ontario, Canada; four grandchildren; and many other relatives.
Per her request, there will be no memorial service.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gumercindo F. Duran; and her second husband, George L. Miller.

He loved gardening and carpentry and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
