RUBY L. ROMERO, 84, of Santa Fe died Friday after a long illness.
She was a lifelong resident of Rociada. She was employed as a school bus driver and caregiver, and she was also a member of Our Lady of Sorrows in Las Vegas, N.M.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe L. Romero; and brothers, Johnny Lucero and Bernardino Lucero.
She is survived by her brother, Joe A. Lucero; sons, Raymond Romero and Matthew Jaramillo; daughter, Noel; seven grandchildren; and many other relatives.
Visitation will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Berardinelli Family Chapel. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows in Las Vegas, N.M. Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the same church with burial to follow at Rosario Cemetery in Santa Fe.

ANTHONY J. SANCHEZ, 49, MARGARET A. SANCHEZ, 50, AND ANDREW J. SANCHEZ, 20 , of Pojoaque died Monday of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with burial to follow at the Pojoaque Cemetery.

LINO J. SOLANO, 72, of Santa Fe died Monday after a long illness.
He worked as a life insurance agent. He was an active member of St. John's Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Salomon and Guadalupita Solano; brothers, Rufino, Henry and Delfino Solano; and sister, Betty Vigil.
He is survived by the mother of his children, Cora Lee Solano; daughter, Brenda Solano; son, Tony Solano of Albuquerque; brothers, Amadeo and wife Mary Lou, and Salomon Jr. and wife Julia of Reno, Nev.; sister, Clarabell Solano; and three grandchildren.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m Sunday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Memorial mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Monday at the same church with burial to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.

EVELYN MARIE WHEELESS of Santa Fe died Wednesday.
She was born in Hot Springs and was a graduate of Loretto Academy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Baldwin Burt; mother, Gladys Hagen; and brother Hugh Burt.
She is survived by her husband, Gussie Wheeless; sons, John Wheeless and wife Celia, Jim Wheeless and wife Maxine; daughters, Mary Weidner and husband Roy, Kelly Martinez and husband Louie; sister, Margo Lopez; 11 grandchildren; and many other relatives.

STANLEY GEORGE ANDERSON, 83, of Taos died Monday.
He retired as a manager with the U.S. Postal Service in Weschester, Ill., and had been a door greeter at Wal-Mart since 1983. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Lucy Tschersich and Marion Kulikowski. He is survived by his wife, Agnes Isabelle Anderson; sister-in-law, Emily LePanto and husband Michael of New Jersey; two nieces; two nephews; and many other relatives. JOSE FELIX GONZALES, 81, of Arroyo Hondo died Monday. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, seeing action at the Battles of Ardennes and throughout northern France. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bences and Miguel Gonzales. He is survived by his wife, Maria Beatrice Gonzales; children, Bernice Todd and husband Roger of Seattle, Maria Bush and husband Jack of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Corine Espinoza and husband Harold of Espaņola, Felix Floyd Gonzales and wife Libby of Taos, Peggy Blake and husband Rick of Colorado Springs, Colo., Geri Mills and husband Donald of Arroyo Hondo, Herman Gonzales and wife Diana of Arroyo Hondo and Neomi Allen and husband Tom of Bosque Farms; 17 grandchildren; sisters, Veloniz Martinez and husband Manuel of Arroyo Hondo, Evila Withrow and husband Ray and Tina Arellano of Pueblo, Colo.; and many other relatives. GEORGE JAMES WINTER, 79, of Los Alamos died Monday. He worked for Los Alamos National Laboratory as a machinist in the MEC Division for 11 years. He was the training supervisor for the machinist apprentice program and retired in 1989. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret. He is survived by his sons, Brian and wife Barbara of Los Alamos, and Michael and wife Theresa of Shirley, N.Y.; daughters, Kathleen and husband John of Mt. Pocono, Pa., and Margaret and husband Richard of York, Maine; 11 grandchildren; brothers, Robert of Ormond Beach, Fla. and James of Florence, Ariz., and many other relatives and friends.
