WILLIE PAUL DURAN, 54, of Santa Fe died on Friday.
He worked for the city of Santa Fe.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe B. Duran; mother, Lusita G. Duran; and brothers, Leo Duran and Ernest Duran.
He is survived by his brothers, Jerry Duran and wife Mary, Manuel Duran, Joe Duran, Arthur Duran and wife Rosina, Edward Duran and wife Maria; sisters, Josie Gallegos and husband Raymond, Socorro Salazar and husband Celso, Teresa Duran, and Jenny Duran; and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday with a rosary to follow at 7 p.m. at Berardinelli Family Chapel. A mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. A burial will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Rosario Cemetery.

ALEJANDRO LUCERO, 54, of Las Vegas, N.M., died on Friday at St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe.
He was a graduate of West Las Vegas High School, a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and spent time at his ranch. He worked at Furrs Supermarket, the IGA de Las Vegas and was a custodian at West Las Vegas Schools.
He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Lucero; brother, Juan Lucero; half-brother, Flor Lucero; sister, Mela Baca and many other relatives and friends.
He is survived by his wife Theresa; son, Michael Lucero and his wife Belinda of Albuquerque; daughters, Nancy Lucero of Tumcumcari; Tanya Roybal, Ivana Pino, and Kimberly Lucero; mother, Rosa E. Lucero; brothers, Valentine Lucero, Candido Lucero and Eluis Lucero; sisters, Lucy Maes and her husband Robert of Rio Rancho, Irene Lucero of Albuquerque, Perla Lucero and friend Henry Baca of Albuquerque; and many other relatives and friends.
Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. today at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with burial to follow at the Catholic Cemetery in Ojitos Frios.

ARSENIO A. MARTINEZ, 71, of Rio Chama died Sunday after a short illness.
He was a craftsman, plumber, welder, designer and carpenter. He loved his ranch and his animals. and was the originator of the Rio Chama and Tierra Azul Land Development Corp. and a trustee of the Juan Lovato Land Grant. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Blessed Sacrament Chapel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Antonio and Bernardita Martinez; sisters, Epomocena and Luisa Chacon and brother, Wenceslau Martinez.
He is survived by his wife, Vita Martinez; children, Carmen Perez and husband Tony of Maryland, Arsenio Martinez and wife Doris, and Arturo Martinez; brothers, Max Martinez Sr. and wife Ramona of Medanales, Benito Martinez, Juan Andres Martinez and wife Eutilia of Salt Lake City, Utah, Julio Martinez, Eutilia Martinez of Albuquerque; sister, Lucia Martinez and husband Sixto; nine grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. today at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at noon on Wednesday at the same church with burial to follow at 2 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.

LUIS JOSE MARTINEZ, 47, of El Duende died Monday.
He was a longtime painter in the area and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noberto and Lola Martinez.
He is survived by his daughters, Lola Maestas and husband Chris of El Guache, Ivy Martinez and Vida Martinez and companion Donovan; sisters, Priscilla Silva and husband Chris of Espaņola, Cindy Wise of Phoenix, Ariz., Lori Zelic and husband Daniel of Alcalde and Sophie Valdez and husband Randy of Santa Cruz; brother, Johnny Martinez of Hernandez; seven grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
A service will be held 7 p.m. Friday at the New Hope Church in Arroyo Seco. A mass will be celebrated 2 p.m. Saturday at the same church.

SUZANNE MITTLE of Santa Fe died Friday.
She owned several retail stores, including The Depot and The Kiva on the Plaza, with her partner, Catherine Katona.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; and son, Robert.
She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Atkins of Fort Worth, Texas; son, David; sister, Geraldine Solnick of Newport Beach, Calif.; and many other relatives and friends.

ERMINIA Q. ORTIZ, 94, of Bosque Farms died on Friday.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Ortiz; daughter, Consuelo Romero; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Biterbo Quintana; brothers, Eliseo, Joseph, Leonard and Raymond Quintana; and many other relatives.
She is survived by her children, Theresa Salazar and husband Ben, Manuel B. Ortiz, Edward Ortiz and wife Andrea, Imelda Rodriguez and husband Robert, Terry Ortiz and wife Ramona; sisters, Helen Quintana and Corrine Wickham; 26 grandchildren; and many other relatives.
A visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today with a rosary to follow at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at the same church with burial to follow at Rosario Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be donated to St. Vincent De Paul Society or Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Santa Fe.

LINDA MCKEE PACK, 53, of Clovis died Tuesday.
She graduated from Melrose High School, attended the University of New Mexico and received a nursing degree from the College of Santa Fe. Her nursing work included hospice, personal home health, critical care at St. Vincent's Hospital and the public health services hospitals in Santa Fe. She helped secure a grant from the McKee Foundation to build a wing onto the Galisteo Community Center. She secured a grant to help with improvements to the Melrose Seniors Citizens Center. She secured a grant to support the operation of KUNM, a public television station operated in Albuquerque. She was an avid animal lover.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny; sisters, Marilyn Sethi of Tulsa, Okla., Sue Zahn of Newburgh, N.Y.; and many other relatives and friends.
A service will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Santa Fe Animal Shelter and Humane Society, 1920 Cerrillos Road.
