MARIE C. CHAMBERS, 84, of Ranchos de Taos died Sunday.
She formerly resided in Temple, Texas.
She is survived by her daughter, Renee Valerio; and son, Mike Medina; two grandchildren, and many other relatives.

ANN GUBIN, 83, of San Jose, Calif., died Jan. 1.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Emma Gurule, and Frances Iwamiera and husband Joseph Gubin; and brother, Vidal Bustos.
She is survived by her son, John Bustos and wife Irene; daughter, Rita Bivens; sister, Sarah Ronquillo; brother, George Bustos; four granddaughters and many other relatives.
Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. today at Berardinelli Family Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Cathedral with burial to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.

STANLEY G. JOHNSTONE, 86, of Los Alamos died Friday.
He worked for the Los Alamos National Laboratory for 46 years and was a member of the Los Alamos Elks Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia L. Johnstone.
He is survived by his children, Judy Garcia and husband Lawrence of El Paso, Roxanne L. Berenger of Amarillo, Colyer Johnstone of Australia and Virginia Montoya and husband Alby of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren; and many other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Los Alamos with burial to follow at the Guaje Pines Cemetery. A reception will follow the funeral services at the Elk's Lodge.

MICHAEL LUCERO, 52, of El Rito died last Tuesday unexpectedly.
He was a resident of West Hollywood, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vitalia and David Lucero.
He is survived by his parents, Salomon and Veroniz Archuleta; brothers and sisters, Bobby Archuleta, Donna Valdez and husband Mike; Bernie Archuleta and wife Elaine; all of El Rito, Pauline Ortiz and husband Paul of San Isidro; Randy Archuleta of Houston and Melissa Coronado and husband Oscar of Medanales; companion, Stanford Smevold of West Hollywood, Calif.; and many other relatives and friends.
Services have been held at the San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in El Rito.

MICHAEL DWAYNE MAESTAS, 42, of Las Vegas, N.M., died Saturday at the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque.
He attended West Las Vegas High School and played high school tennis and also attended New Mexico Highlands University. He was employed with the Vegas Grandes Nursing Home as a maintenance supervisor. He enjoyed carpentry work, chess and billiards. He was an avid fisherman and he loved motorcycles. A lifelong Catholic, he attended the Immaculate Conception Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gaby Maestas; brother, James Maestas; grandparents, Alice Maestas Sierra & Candido Maestas; and grandfather, Frank Marlow Sr.
He is survived by his father, Joe Maestas and wife Dorothy of Las Vegas, N.M.; children, Candace Maestas of Dublin, Ohio, Matthew Solano and Jason Maestas, both of Las Vegas, N.M.; sister, Jolynn Keiner and husband Bobby of Las Vegas, N.M.; mothers of his children, Michelle Adams Zellers of Akron, Ohio, Shirley Solano-Romero, and Germaine Lopez, both of Las Vegas, N.M.; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the Rogers Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at the Immaculate Conception Church. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the same church with burial to follow at the Maestas Family Plot in Rociada.

IRMA D. MARTIN, 79, of Santa Fe died Saturday after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Concord, Mich. She received her nursing license and retired as a nurse auditor in 1983 due to health issues.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Martin; and brother, Joe Southwell.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Ingram, and Paul Charles Martin and wife Linda; six grandchildren; sisters, Ella Burroughs, Ruby Rogers, Nina Ybarra and husband Amadore, and Jean Frizzie and husband Louie; brothers, Howard Southwell, and Ed Southwell and wife Theresa and many other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.

TONY MIGNARDOT, 90, of Santa Fe, a former city councilor, has died.
He was the first child of Emile and Maria Mignardot. The late Archbishop Pitaval brought his paternal grandparents from France. The family home was located on the property now occupied by the Santa Fe County Courthouse on Grant Avenue. He was fortunate to be associated with the old Santa Fe Transportation Co., a firm owned by the Harvey interests. In 1940, he struck out on his own and set up a tire recapping business. After World War II, when the production of automobiles resumed, he received the local franchise for Studebakers. In 1943, he accepted a vacancy on the City Council and a year later, stood for election and won the aldermanic position. In 1948, he won chairmanship of the Police Commission and the presidency of the City Council. In later years he was a general manager and stockholder in Sanco Motors, the present Ford dealership.
Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Berardinelli Family Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Cathedral with burial to follow at Rosario Cemetery.
