Steve Fox, 54, a 30- year resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, June 9, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Jo Fox of Albuquerque; children, Buddy Hobbs of St. Louis, MO, Joel Hobbs of Seagraves, TX, Rocky Hobbs of Albuquerque, and Ronny Hobbs of Seagraves, TX; and grandchildren, Steven Hobbs of Odessa, TX and Karolyn Hobbs of Seagraves. Services will be held Saturday, June 15, 2002, 10:00 a.m., at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Chelwood Ward, 12701 Indian School Rd. NE, with Mike Prestwich, Conducting. Antonio P. Garcia Sr., 51, went home to be with the Lord on June 9, 2002. He was born on February 7, 1951 in Las Cruces, NM. Antonio was a great son, husband, father, son-in-law, grandfather and father-in-law. He was in the Armed Forces for two years and worked in White Sands Missal Range for fifteen years. He is survived by his wife, Adelina Garcia; son, Antonio R. Garcia Jr. and wife, Dana; daughter, Lori Garcia Ortega and husband, Robert; grandchildren, Haley Renee Garcia, Tristen Richard Garcia, Savannah Jade Garcia and Alexis Ann Garcia; parents, Jose and Lupe Garcia; brothers, Joe P. Garcia and wife, Olga and Johnny Ray Garcia. Antonio will be deeply missed by his loving family. Visitations will be held on Tuesday in the Eighth Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited following at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church at 10:15 a.m. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Ricardo R. Garcia, 53, died peacefully on Sunday, June 9, 2002, after a long illness, surrounded by his beloved family. He was preceded in death by his father, Ricardo P. Garcia and his grandson, Ralph Garcia Jr. Ricardo is survived by his loving wife, Trine with whom he had celebrated 34 years of marriage; his children, Ralph and wife, Janet, Eva and husband, JR. Carrasco; daughter, Rebecca and fiancé, Gabriel Montoya; He is also survived by his mother, Angelina Garcia; sister, Vi Garcia; brother, Morrie Garcia and wife, Trixie; special mother-in-law, Jennie Cortez; four special grandchildren, Richard, Robby, Christina, and Zivon; special aunt and uncle Gilbert and Albinita Garcia; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Miguel, age 77, a resident of Santo Nino passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2002. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine; two sons, Freddie and Tony Maestas; and his father, Bonifacio Maestas. He is survived by six sons; Michael, Dennis, Steve, David, Paul and Gerald; three daughters, Cecilia, Theresa and Jessica; four sisters, Carmen Sanchez of Alcalde, Ramona Pacheco of Superior, Arizona, Lydia Mares of Santa Fe and Erlinda Garcia of Las Vegas, Nevada; brothers, Phil Maestas of Monterrey, California and Avenicio Maestas of Santa Cruz; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Ronald Lee Morgan, 64, a resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, June 10, 2002. He is survived by his sister, Barbara M. McGill and husband, Jack of Albuquerque; nephews, Bill Fox and wife, Susan of Albuquerque and Bryan Fox and wife, Debbie of Phoenix, AZ; and a great-nephew, Gage. Mr. Morgan was a longtime employee of the United States Post Office where he served as a supervisor before retiring. Helen Marie Gutierrez-Otero, a resident of Los Lunas, was born May 26, 1965 and was taken away from us June 8, 2002, to be with her loving mother Virginia Gutierrez who preceded her in death 6 weeks ago and her brother, Ruben. She is survived by her husband, Leroy Otero; three children, Randy, Jessica, and Christopher; her father, Eddie Gutierrez; two brothers, Leonard and wife, Christina, Rey Michael and wife, Christine; several uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Anna Karen Ridlon, born in 1916 in Marquette, MI and a resident of Albuquerque since 1945, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2002. Her husband of 62 years, Frank J. Ridlon, Sr, preceded her in death in 1997. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Rachel Nelson; two sisters, Mabel Tregear and Doris Prince; and son-in-law, Joseph E. Brown. Our most precious "Mom", always a lady and with the gentlest heart, will be dearly missed by a large devoted family and many dear friends. She is survived by three sons, Frank J. Ridlon and wife, Doris, of Aztec, NM, James Ridlon and wife, Clora, of Las Vegas, NV and Rae Ridlon and wife, Joyce of Los Alamos, NM; two daughters, Karen Brown of Albuquerque and Marilyn Smiel and husband, Al of Los Lunas; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Bertha Olson of Marquette, MI, Carol Schweitzer and Barbara Francisco and husband, Gerald, all of Surprise, AZ; one sister-in-law, Arlene Ridlon of Rockford, IL and many nieces and nephews. Murray I. Seidler, died June 8,2002, after a short illness. Mr. Seidler was born August 7, 1915 in Brooklyn, NY, where he grew up and lived most of his life. He served in the US. Army, with distinction in the European Theater of operations during World War II. Murray moved with his wife to Albuquerque in 1980. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Antoinette; daughter, Coralie McGuire, both of Albuquerque; son, Douglas and wife, Doreen, of Orlando, FL.; grandchildren, Andrew and Barbara McGuire of Washington, DC., Drs. Rachel and Darrell Ellsworth, of Johnstown, PA., David McGuire and Anita Chapin of Tucson, AZ., Michael Seidler of Riverhead, NY., Suzanne and Raymond Middleton of San Diego, CA., Brittany Seidler of Orlando, FL.; great-grandchildren, Jake and Danielle Middleton, Emma Ellsworth, and Maya Rose McGuire. Additionally, Murray leaves a host of friends. All will remember him for his love of life and his wonderful sense of humor. John P. Valdez Jr., born June 6, 1942, passed away on June 8, 2002 just after his 60th Birthday after struggling with pneumonia. He was a devoted son to his mother, Fabiola S. Valdez. He is survived by his mother, Fabiola, his wife, Lillian Valdez, his sister, Geraldine Valdez Chavez, Connie Valdez Rosenquist, his children, Joe, Paula, Regina, Christina and his grandson, Joe. In passing on he joins his father, John P. Valdez Sr. and his sister, Loretta Valdez Ziegler. He will be missed by all who knew him. His gentle spirit, and always willing to help others. Delphin Norris "Blackie" Williams went home to be with the Lord June 7, 2002. Blackie was born September 24, 1912 in Rosston, OK where he attended school graduating Valedictorian of his class in 1932, he was a good student and athlete. He was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals at age 16. He joined the C.C.C. in 1934 where he was transferred to Redrock, NM in 1935 as a Sgt. where he met and married Ruth Everett, November 2, 1935. Blackie was also a Dairy Farmer, truck driver, station owner and manager and bookkeeper. Blackie is survived by his loving wife, Ruth of 66 years; son Robert and his wife, Roberta of Driggs, Idaho, son, James and wife, Judy of Arvada, CO and daughter, Karen and husband, Willie McDonald of Lordsburg, NM; brother, Jack and his wife, Dottie Williams of Harrah, WA. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and cousins. Blackie is preceded in death by a loving son, Bennie D. Williams, daughter-in-law, Rita Williams Lindsay, son-in-law, Richard Bejerano, and granddaughter, Julie Bejerano. Blackie was an Elder of Lordsburg Church of Christ where he attended since 1946. He loved his Lord and was known for his beautiful prayers. Memorial service will be held June 11, 2002 at 6:00 p.m. at the Lordsburg Church of Christ.

PRISCILLA E. MARTINEZ, 35, of Santa Fe died Friday unexpectedly. She was employed at Wild Oats in Santa Fe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Duran; her three grandmothers, Florence Crane, Corina Sanchez and Camila Arellano; grandfather, Carlos Sanchez; aunt, Sylvia Brown; uncle, Orval and aunt Corky Martin. She is survived by her parents, Joe and Lulu Louise Martinez; three sons, Daniel, JonPaul and Michael; brother, Anthony Martinez; sister, Donna Martinez; paternal father, Zebedeo Arellano; and half-sisters, Irene and Lorraine; favorite cousin, Gail Crane; special friends, Karen, Bazil Moreno and Peter Alejandro; and many other relatives and friends. AURORA NETZLOFF, of Mora, died Saturday at the Mission Manor in Albuquerque after a short illness. She was a member of St. Gertrude's Catholic Church in Mora and a member of the American Legion, the Sacred Heart League and the St. Joseph's League. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Constancia Valdez; and brothers, Timoteo and Moises Valdez. She is survived by three sisters and one brother, Frances Archuleta of Mora, Marcelina and Phil Trujillo of Cottonwood, Calif., Lillie and Vern Hisaw of Redding, Calif., Florida Valdez of Westwood, Calif., and many other relatives and friends. Rosary services will be at 7 p.m. today St. Gertrude's Church in Mora. DONALD J. QUINTANA, 34, of Fairview died Monday. He was preceded in death by a sister, Melissa Quintana in 1989; former wife and mother of his daughter, Karen Quintana; maternal grandmother, Matilda Fernandez; paternal grandfather, Esquipula Quintana; maternal great-grandparents, Manuelita and Claudio Espinoza. He is survived by a daughter, Brandi of the home; his parents, Paul and Sally Quintana of Fairview and formerly of La Puebla; three sisters, Sally Gallegos and husband Gary of El Llano, Pauline Stephens of Santa Cruz, and Darlene Sandoval and husband Frank of El Llano; two brothers, Jeff Quintana and fiance Bernadette Sisneros of Santa Clara and Leonard Quintana of Fairview; paternal grandmother, Macedonia Quintana of La Puebla; a close friend who was like a brother, Tyron Brown of Fairview; and many other relatives and friends. REINALDO M. VALDEZ, 83, of Española died Friday. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alejandro and Francisquita Valdez and a sister, Amelia Trujillo. He is survived by his wife, Margaret T. Valdez of the family home; his children, J. Alex Valdez and wife Rosemary of La Mesilla; Edward F. Valdez and wife Margarita of Minnesota; Maria Pouwels and husband John of Dallas; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur Valdez and wife Carmen, and Rudolfo Valdez; and many other relatives and friends. Fay Albin, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, was born on December 17, 1914 in Patillo, TX, passed away on June 9, 2003. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, John Albin; son, Johnny; daughter, Karen and husband, Tommy Dancey; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Lynn Albin, Mitch and Donny Dancey; and four great-granchildren. Fay was an active member of Blake Road Baptist Church. She was a kind, caring and generous wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Fay s faith, warmth and generous spirit will be remembered by all who knew her. She worked hard her entire life and now rests with the angels. Maxine H. Fine, age 60, a longtime resident of Vallecitos, NM passed away on June 7, 2003. Survivors include her sister, Susan M. Libit and husband, Jeffrey of Albuquerque; nephew, Daniel J. Libit of Albuquerque. Her parents, Louis and Lee Fine, preceded her in death. Maxine was a wonderful artist committed to her craft, a past member of the Ojo Callente and Vallecitos Volunteer Fire Depts., a Tour Guide in the home of Georgia O'Keefe, as well as a staff member of the El Rito Library. She was always an active community member. Maxine was a loving sister; sister-in-law; aunt; and valued friend and will be greatly missed. Michael "Mike" Haralson, appreciated from January 1, 1946 through June 7, 2003 and beyond. He was preceded in death by Debra Haralson. Mike resided in the North Valley with his dearest friend and partner-in-life, Toni Minoli. His compassion showed through as he cared for his mother-in-law, Gina, in her suffering from Alzheimers. Mike is also sorely missed by his beloved felines, Smokey and Tasha, the latter exhibiting much of all his personality. He leaves a great melting pot of friends too numerous to count all know who they are. Possibly the most important of these may be his "little angels" who he will keep watch over. Mike also leaves behind his mother, Norma; stepfather, Chuck; sister, Liz; and brother, Joe. Always the athlete up to a challenge, Mike fought courageously against an unexpected opponent. While he may have been defeated in that fight, he will remain a true champion to those of us who knew him. At 4:49 a.m., Saturday, June 7, 2003, the decision for the final round came in. Lowell Clinton Hargrave, March 27, 1919-June 7, 2003. Lowell Clinton 84, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, died Saturday, June 7, 2003. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Margaret Hargrave; son, Wayne Hargrave and wife, Darlene of Denver, CO; son, Paul Hargrave and wife, Jacqueline of Albuquerque, NM; son, Darwin Hargrave and wife, Carolyn of Livermore, CO; daughter, Mary Hargrave of Tacoma, WA; sister, Zelda Leneker and husband, Bill, of Canajorharie, NY; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Lowell served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Campaign during World War II; he was a lifelong member of the Elks and DAV and a member of Knights of Columbus and American Legion Post 49. Anthony "AJ" Jaramillo, 54, of Santa Fe, passed away Sunday June 8, 2003 after breathing his last few breaths that allowed him to play the sport that he loved most, baseball, in an Albuquerque tournament with his son, Mike, and surrounded by many family members. He was born on May 18,1949 in Ojo Caliente and moved to Santa Fe and became an active member of society. His passions in life were his family, friends and of course - Baseball. He is survived by his parents, Manuel and Alice Jaramillo; children, Angela and husband, Mark Garcia, Theresa Jaramillo and fiance, David Martinez, Mike Jaramillo and brother, Javier Molina, and Cynthia and husband, Isaac Del Rio; grandchildren, Gabriel Garcia, Ryan Gonzales and Molana Del Rio. Also survived by brothers, Ruben and wife, Jean Jaramillo, Marty and wife, Frances Jaramillo; sisters, Mary Elaine and husband, Dennis Hernandez, and Evy and husband, Albert Gallegos; numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and many, many friends-he knew no strangers. AJ was known as very loving and outgoing and was much more than just a father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, mentor, coach and friend. He touched so many lives and hearts at so many different levels. He coached baseball for the last 25 years and touched many lives while fulfilling his passion in life. He was also a baseball manager, umpire, baseball expert and avid photographer. In everything that he pursued in life he exceeded the expectations of those around him by exemplifying what it meant to live life to the fullest. He mentored, taught, and made those who needed it, laugh. His high ethical standards and morals could be viewed on the playing field or by the many people he touched and loved. His sense of humor, kindness, generosity and devotion to his loved ones will be sincerely missed.
