HELEN MAE LANG HULLINGER, 92, of Santa Fe died Thursday after a brief illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband John V. Hullinger.
She is survived by her daughter, Julie Bechko and husband Michael of Santa Fe; and one granddaughter.
Memorial contributions may be donated to the animal charity of your choice.

ROBERTO LUCERO, 90, of Las Vegas, N.M., died Saturday at Northeastern Regional Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Los Alamos and married to the late Genevieve O. Vigil in Sapello.
He served as a private first class in the U.S. Army, Battery B, 107th FA Battalion during World War II. He was awarded the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He received his bachelor of arts and masters degrees from New Mexico Highlands University. He retired in 1972 from the Las Vegas City Schools where he was employed for 36 years as a teacher and then as an elementary principal. His hobbies included woodworking, painting, ceramics, and jewelry design. A lifelong Catholic, he was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church. He was a member of the Men's Holy Name Society at the Immaculate Conception Church and a member of the VFW, Woodmen of Order, and the NEA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melecio and Eutimia Lucero; wife, Genevieve O. Lucero; brothers, Manuel Lucero, Melecio Lucero, Esequiel Lucero, and Filiberto Lucero; and special nephew, Arthur Lucero.
He is survived by his son, Robert L. Lucero Sr., and wife Margie of Las Vegas, N.M.; two grandchildren; and many other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. today at the Immaculate Conception Church with burial to follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Immaculate Conception Church Building Fund, 811 Sixth St., Las Vegas, N.M. 87701.

BERLINDA MARTINEZ, 70, of Embudo died Saturday after a sudden illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rafael T. Martinez; parents, Anselmo and Manuelita Griego; brothers and sisters, Oralia Valdez, Theresa, Jose, and Margarito and Emilio Griego.
She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Martinez; one granddaughter; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at 4 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. today at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Dixon.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the same church with burial to follow at Father Kupper Cemetery in Embudo.

GILBERT F. MARTINEZ, 48, of Vadito died Sunday.
He was a counselor's aide at the Rio Grande Treatment Center.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Christine Martinez.
He is survived by his wife, Carmella Martinez; children, Christine Martinez, Marty Martinez and wife Patricia, Ramon Martinez and wife Kristina, Vincent Martinez and wife Julie Castanada; parents, Frutoso and Rufina Martinez; five grandchildren; sisters, Marvella Gonzales and husband Felix, Minnie Gonzales and husband Eloy, and many other relatives.
Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at the same church with burial to follow at Vadito Cemetery.

JOSIE D. MARTINEZ, 36, of Chamita died Thursday in Espaņola.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alvaro Martinez; and grandmother, Rosa Garcia.
She is survived by her mother, Doloritas Martinez; brothers, Michael Sisneros and wife Teodorita; Manuel Martinez, Richard Martinez, Martin Martinez and wife Rose, all of Chamita; sisters, Carmelita Valdez, and Rudy Martinez of Pueblo, Colo.; and many other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tito and Maria Quintana; brother, Robert Quintana and sisters, Nora Valdez and Dolores Martinez.
She is survived by her husband, Celso Ortiz; son, Tito Ortiz; sister, Grace Chavez of Albuquerque; brothers, Tino Quintana of Albuquerque, Arthur Quintana and wife Rose of Santa Cruz; and Fred Quintana of Truth or Consequences; one grandson; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. today at Block-Salazar Mortuary with a rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Caņada.
Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the same church with burial to follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery.

She is survived by her children, Willie Quintana and wife Stella, Tina Maestas and husband Sixto, Mike Quintana and wife Joan, all of San Pedro, and Patsy O'Brien of Espaņola; 17 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Rosaries will be recited at 4 and 7 p.m. today at Block-Salazar Mortuary.
Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Caņada with burial to follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery.
